Ch. 211..215: The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife Chapter 211-215

Chapter 211: Chapter 211 – He stopped

"Aria, you have worked with Mr. Jewel for a long time and I need your help," Sabrina said seriously.

Aria was taken aback but relaxed at the thought that it might have to do with something relating to official matters.

"Anything ma’am. Mr. Jewel said to do anything you want," she said politely, Sabrina let out a little smile before beckoning her to sit.

Aria sat in front of Sabrina and listened carefully, as the latter asked,

"Aria I need you to be honest with me as a fellow woman. How many women has your boss been with ever since our divorce?"

Aria was suddenly tongue-tied, knowing that whatever information she would give could get her into trouble.

Also, for the fact that her boss trusted her so much. She was the only female he trusted in his whole corporation.

"I don’t have the right to say," she responded politely but Sabrina was desperate. No one would play with fire after being burnt and three years was enough to give her a good lesson in life.

Her heart and brain were at war and she could not sit down and allow either one to dominate her senses without performing her own investigations.

"Please. This is a woman-to-woman thing. I’m begging you and I promise that no one else will know about this discussion."

Aria was comfortable with Sabrina’s mention of confidentiality, especially from being a woman of integrity.

Therefore, she told Sabrina everything she knew.

"At first, it was rampant and Miss Chance walked in on him a couple of times but he did not seem to care. I don’t know exactly what happened there but on two occasions, the women had run out naked from his office and I had to hide them in the washroom to go get them clothes."

Sabrina was not surprised, knowing that sex had been one of Robin’s greatest weaknesses in his entire life.

She only strived on the perception that he would change one day but when Zayla got pregnant for him, she accepted that he would never change.

He had control over everything except his sexual life but for women running out of Robin’s office naked, it was disgusting.

"Did you perchance ask them why?" She asked with a frown but not too deep to show her disdain.

Aria swallowed tightly, hoping that Sabrina would keep her word and this would not get her into trouble with her boss.

"One of them said that she almost died because he just won’t cum after hours. She begged him to stop and he got upset, driving her out of his office without caring that she was naked."

"All of them?" Sabrina was shocked, feeling that Robin needed help. A man like that can not change in just one day, right?

How could she have ever fallen in love with someone like that?

"One of the girls survived one of the days and he tipped her well but the next day, it went back to being the same.

After that time, he never let any woman in," Aria said, surprising Sabrina.

She knew that people make mistakes. Some learn from it and change but from what Aria said before, she didn’t believe that Robin would be able to have control of his sexual life but then again, the second part was unbelievable.

"But he still goes to the club, doesn’t he?" Sabrina asked, remembering that back then, Robin and Daniel frequented the club a lot, getting a lot of ladies from there but was in for another surprise.

"I don’t think he does so anymore," Aria said but when she saw that Sabrina did not believe it, she went on to explain asking,

"How do you think he has so much time on his hands during the day? He always works through the night and would sleep in his small bedroom in the office."

Sabrina’s brows knit together, a new wave of confusion flooding her mind.

"He has a bedroom in his office? Most probably where he fucks his whores right?"

Her thoughts towards Robin in that aspect were impure but she felt no remorse.

"That was before but he had me change everything there a long time ago and brought a bed. Since then, he hasn’t allowed women there since."

Aria intentionally left out the part about her pictures being there. Whereas, Sabrina was thinking of indeed going to see what was in that room.

"There is something else some of the girls said," Aria recalled and said thoughtfully.

"What is that?" Sabrina asked anxiously when Aria smiled saying,

"They called him a sex maniac. He was always rough and never wants to see their faces when he fucks them. It was like he just wanted to have his release."

Sabrina found that part strange. Robin used to be rough with her most of the time but would always look into her eyes when he does it, as if trying to mop out what she was thinking of him so how could he do it with other women without seeing their faces?

"If he doesn’t see their face then how does he do it?"

"Previously, there was no bed in that room and he only fucks them from the back. He never kisses them. He never gives them foreplay. He is always already hard before they arrive," Aria explained.

Most times, she was tempted to think that her boss had a sexual disorder but when he suddenly stopped, she guessed it was all in the mind.

"One thing I found out myself was the condoms the cleaners disposed off every morning but that was when he was still married so I stopped them from cleaning his office to avoid gossip and began doing it myself."

"If he treated them that way, then why do they keep going back?" Sabrina asked curiously.

"Mr. Jewel is very generous and before the divorce, he never fucked the same woman twice but after, it was only one who got a second opportunity and it also ended," Aria explained, confirming Robin’s words that he stopped.

Sabrina wondered how he managed to stop. Did he get help or something? It all remained a mystery to her because people like that usually never stop.

Chapter 212: Chapter 212 – Why does she care so much?

It was also confirmed that everything Robin told her about his sexuality was true.

He did not lie to her but now that she knew the details, she somehow regretted asking.

"Thank you for opening up to me," Sabrina said but when Aria was about to excuse herself, she could not help asking, "But what about Zayla?"

Aria faced her once again and said what she knew,

"Mr. Jewel’s relationship with Miss Chance was never good but Miss Chance deserves it. She goes about announcing they are engaged when Mr. Jewel hasn’t proposed.

The last couple of days of her being in his office, she left in tears and has not been there again for over three weeks now."

Sabrina did not know what was driving her curiosity to know exactly what must have happened since she didn’t like gossip but the fact that it was Zayla they were talking about would not give her the needed rest until she knew.

"What about Zayla’s father?"

Aria laughed and Sabrina grimaced but soon understood the reason for Aria’s amusement on the subject matter.

"Ma’am, I got footage some time ago at the underground car park where Mr. Jewel slapped Miss Chance’s father. Before then, he slapped Miss Chance also for being disrespectful towards him."

Sabrina’s heart stopped. "Slapped her? But she’s pregnant."

She was confused by Robin’s change in behavior, beginning to feel that he always treated the outside woman better.

Could it also mean that even if she had told him about her pregnancy, she wouldn’t have changed?

Then again, her confusion increased upon remembering that Robin only verbally abused her.

Not sexually or physically.

"Mr. Jewel doesn’t seem to care about her and they hardly talk. I also heard from the agency that he withdrew the services of the maids. The chef was also moved to one of his hotels."

Sabrina could not believe all this. Even if Robin was heartless, he had to consider Zayla’s pregnancy but Aria was not even done yet.

Sabrina also observed the way Aria’s eyes shone when she was talking about all the bad things Robin did to Zayla.

"The driver he assigned to her, heard her talking to her father on the phone and complaining that Mr. Jewel put her on a hundred-dollar-a-day budget. If she doesn’t use it all, it expires the next day and can’t be added to her expenditure for the next day."

"She said that when she complained, Mr. Jewel said he was saving up for their unborn children."

"Hahahahahaha," Sabrina choked on laughter as Aria continued to say,

"Miss James, the last time Miss Chance withdrew half a million from his account, he went mad and put restrictions on the account. It was so bad that she could not pay for a meal she had with a friend and fainted at the bank when she realized what Mr. Jewel had done to her."

Saving up on what? For all the money Robin had? It was the reason why Sabrina laughed but did not believe that she would ever feel this way.

However, that was how she was feeling. Pity. She felt so much pity for Zayla, cursing her poor heart for being so fragile.

"But why is he treating her like that?"

"I’m sorry but I don’t have those answers. The only person Mr. Jewel tells everything is his best friend. He never hides anything from him," Aria said, happy for how Zayla was being treated.

"Thank you for telling me all this. I will reward you," Sabrina said seriously but Aria quickly refused.

"No, no. Mr. Jewel pays so well, I’ve been the breadwinner of my family for two years without sweat when my husband lost his job. We still have a lot saved up."

Sabrina was amazed by her saying she was the breadwinner when she had a jobless husband at home. For how many years?

Not many women would be able to keep up because Aria was a very attractive woman.

Analyzing Aria’s story only brought another question to Sabrina’s mind,

"If he likes women so much, I wonder how he didn’t hit on you. You are equally beautiful."

Aria smiled at the compliment, not saying that Robin had tried before realizing that she was married but putting it differently,

"Mr. Jewel never hits on married women and I’m already five months pregnant."

Sabrina’s jaws dropped from the shock. How can a five-month pregnant woman have nothing to show for?

"How come you don’t have a bump?"

Aria stood up and removed her blazer, showing a small bump.

"I do but it’s well hidden under the dress."

It still looked too small for five months though, but Sabrina wondered if Robin was making arrangements for it and asking,

"Does your boss know?"

Aria shook her head, seeming afraid, "No."

"You should tell him," Sabrina encouraged her before she explained,

"Okay. I’m just afraid that he would move me to a different department. Most bosses don’t like a pregnant woman welcoming their guests and I don’t know if I would be paid the same if I’m moved to another department."

"I intend to take an annual leave during the nine months, which is three months from now," she explained her plan but Sabrina did not agree with her.

"No. It won’t be good to take him by surprise and pregnancy is part of the life cycle. You can never be discriminated against for it."

Aria forced a smile, agreeing that Sabrina indeed had a good point.

"You are right. I will inform him and HR when I go back tomorrow."

She stood up and said, "I will be with your secretary when you need me."

"Sure," Sabrina agreed, lost in thought for a moment and throughout her responses to emails from some of their jewelry shops.

She was happy for Aria but could not think of what would happen with Robin during her maternity leave.

What if his next secretary was not married? Has he changed to the extent of not hitting on that secretary?

Sabrina did not know why she still cared about all this when they were divorced.

She guessed that she would need hot tea and put a call through to her secretary.

Chapter 213: Chapter 213 – To destroy everything he holds dear

Robin got to the office, not too surprised by the people waiting for him.

If it was Aria, he would have just greeted them and walked into his office, and she would have known what to do but he never worked with this secretary before, saying,

"Rita, I will meet them according to their time or arrival."

Rita, the temporary secretary had a strange smile on her face, seemingly excited but before she responded, Devin said,

"Take care of them first. I will wait."

He was the first to arrive but since his reason for being there was not official, he did not see the need to waste Robin’s time when he had important guests waiting for him.

Robin knew that the only reason Devin would be there must be because of either Sabrina or Martin, both of whom were equally important to him so he said to Devin,

"You can still wait in my office if you won’t cause trouble."

Devin smiled and shook his head. Their days of fighting were over and he even felt ashamed to be in Robin’s office like this.

However, since Robin had done worse things and claimed to be a changed person now, Devin felt that he also deserved a second chance.

"I will take the offer and I promise not to cause you any trouble," he said politely, Robin raised his brows, a little amazed.

Devin being polite, was something amusing.

He turned to the six men waiting for him and rendered an apology,

"Sorry for the wait gentlemen, I will see the board members first."

The board members stood up and followed him since Devin had gone ahead.

He worked on his phone while Robin had a meeting with his board members.

It was not the annual one but rather an emergency meeting and a short one because one of the board members was proposing a new business as a subsidiary, which Robin did not think was a bad idea and promised to look into it.

"Thank you for taking our suggestions. We shall leave now?" one of the board members said and Robin walked them to the door.

The second and third batches came in and by the time Robin was done, two hours were already gone.

Rita walked into his office after seeing the last batch leave, forgetting that Devin was still there since the latter had gone in earlier.

She opened the extra buttons of her shirt, exposing her assets whilst holding a cup of coffee on a saucer and took it to Robin’s desk, paling at the sight of Devin even when his face was buried in his phone.

"Sir, your coffee."

Robin lifted his head and his eyes caught her full breast through the V-neck-shaped shirt she wore and frowned.

Rita was a relief staff and perhaps did not know the rules but Robin did not have the luxury of time to explain, thereby saying,

"Rita, bring me coffee only if I ask for it, and as for right now, you are going to change that dress however you can but you should be back in not more than thirty minutes, or else, you are fired."

His cold countenance was a shock to Rita, she froze and her hand holding the coffee shook.

It was an open secret that Robin liked women a lot.

Most of them usually were more skimpily dressed than her and he has not had a woman in a while so why was he being hostile to her?

Rita was a very attractive woman and planned to use her seductive charm to cause Robin to retain her and send Aria to any of the branches or departments, she couldn’t care which.

Whilst she stood there, unable to utter a word, Robin walked past her and went to sit beside Devin.

"So how is the company?" He asked.

Devin was about to answer but lifting his head from his phone and seeing his secretary frozen like that, he asked Robin,

"Is she alright?"

He was not paying attention to them earlier, not knowing what transpired between them.

Robin’s eyes darkened at the sight of Rita and he snarled,

"Rita, two minutes have gone already."

It was only at the sound of that warning that Rita jolted out of her shock and walked out of the door.

"Where is your other secretary?"

Devin asked, not liking how this one was dressed to work with a man like Robin.

"Sabrina wasn’t comfortable so I sent Aria over. She will be here tomorrow when the secretary I arranged for Sabrina arrives."

Devin wondered why the hustle since there was already another secretary.

"Let her work there since you already made the arrangement."

"She’s like my right hand, knowing what I want before I ask her. She’s also married but the main reason is, the one I arranged would also act as Sabrina’s secret bodyguard. She is from a secret service agency."

Devin was amazed by Robin’s thoughtfulness concerning Sabrina, knowing it was because of what happened between her and Martin.

"I didn’t know that Aria was married and I wonder why she never wears her ring. Anyway, thank you for watching out for Sabrina. The video has done wonderfully well and I also destroyed the document Sabrina signed. Do you think that we still have to go to court?"

"Do you mean that you destroyed Martin’s copy?" Robin asked, trying to think about what might have transpired between the once best friends.

"Yes."

"Then we don’t have to go to court because you destroyed the evidence," Robin explained when Devin reminded him,

"But Sabrina still has hers."

Robin paused for a while, knowing that if they pressed charges, Martin might go to jail for a few months or years but he wanted the latter to face something worse, wanting to speak to the general about it.

"Well, he would need his document to complete the change of ownership process so since you have taken away his power, the company remains untouched. You could as well destroy Sabrina’s copy so he doesn’t pay someone to steal it," he suggested before Devin asked,

"But how do we press charges against him?" He was desperate to grant Sabrina’s wish.

"If we do, it’s going to be a legal battle and Sabrina would have to add court appearances to her schedule so you have to find out if she is willing to do so because getting him arrested is easy," Robin said thoughtfully before Devin asked,

"So, what do you suggest?"

Robin’s expression darkened and his voice was chilly,

"To destroy everything, he holds dear."

Chapter 214: Chapter 214 – Wife, not ex-wife

"To destroy everything, he holds dear."

Devin was happy about the statement because that was what he wanted too but was still curious to know exactly what Robin planned to do with Martin.

"How do you intend to do that?" He asked seriously, Robin leaned back, checked a contact on his phone, and said,

"Just a minute."

He put a call through to the General, who answered it almost immediately.

"Robin, how are you?" He asked in a relaxed tone.

No matter how calm he sounded, Robin did not forget that he was still a busy man and could even be anywhere at the moment.

It was his special number Robin called him on.

"I’m doing very well, uncle. I have some criminals I don’t want to go easy on. Their bodies must be cut in pieces and spread around the world so that even if they get the chance for a second life, it would never be possible for them to come back to their original bodies," Robin said coldly.

The phone line went silent but the general’s breathing was an assurance that he was still on the line.

"Son, this is a serious matter. Who and who are you talking about? Don’t forget about the law," the general advised.

Robin chuckled and responded,

"Mara and her brother, Martin. Also, Zayla and her father."

Among the people mentioned, the one of greatest concern for the general was Mara because of what she did to Matilda, for which reason the General took a keen interest.

"You have a bucket full but have you gotten Mara’s location?" He asked, ready to send some of his men there to get her.

"No, but I’m a bit relaxed because of my wife’s birthday party in two days, to which I already extended an invitation to you." Robin went cold, as he continued to speak, "After that, I would find her even if she is hiding in the sky or the sea."

The general was impressed because he did not want to go easy on Mara either but Devin had taken a key interest in the conversation at the mention of the name Mara.

Though he had questions to ask Robin, he did not interrupt, waiting for them to end the call first.

"The level of death you want means it has to be done secretly, as nobody is above the law."

Robin went into deep thought at the statement. If he wanted them killed secretly, then he wouldn’t need the general’s help.

It was because he wanted them exposed before being killed.

The world must be wary of the existence of evil people like that.

"But I want her exposed and have her confession go viral as well," he stated.

Whilst Devin listened to the conversation, now knowing what the general was saying since the phone was not on speaker, he remembered the general advising him to be open-minded.

Then it clicked that the general had also been aware, just like his father, that Mara was still alive.

He hated himself for trusting Martin like a second skin and wished to roast the idiot alive.

"In that case, it would be better to expose and process them to court. After their jail term, we would work around doing as you have said. That way, the populace wouldn’t know," the general suggested from the end of the line.

Robin learned after a little thought that it was a good idea since they get to face double punishment.

"I will take your suggestion and will first go ahead to have Martin arrested. We can use him to get to his sister, Mara."

The general’s countenance changed at the other side of the line.

"If you had told me before that Mara had a brother, he wouldn’t have been alive by now."

Robin sighed and explained,

"It’s just that he was a good friend of my wife and she never believed me any time I told her to stay away from him. If I had touched him at a time like that, she would have hated me forever."

The general was happy that he used the word wife without the ex, which meant that he meant to get Sabrina back.

"I see. I will see you at the party."

Robin knew the general wanted to get off the line and quickly asked him,

"Are you coming with some of your men?"

The general already knew what he wanted and responded,

"I usually move with four. Will they be enough?" He asked seriously, Robin smiled,

"With their level of expertise, I have no doubt."

"Wonderful," the general exclaimed.

"Thank you, General."

"You are welcome, son."

When Robin ended the call, he said to Devin, "Since you are his best friend, I guess you can get him arrested. You have enough evidence to do so."

Devin felt ashamed but could not help admitting,

"I don’t even know his house."

Robin’s brows raised from the shock of hearing those words from him. Then he asked seriously,

"Are you even best friends?"

Devin was very embarrassed and thought to explain,

"We are both busy managing companies so we usually only meet for lunch."

Robin could still not believe his lame excuse. He lost count of the number of times he went to Daniel’s house and how Daniel frequented his before when he was married to Sabrina.

It was only when Zayla came into the picture that Daniel would only come to his office unless Robin had asked him to do something for him at the penthouse.

"How many years have you been best friends?" Robin asked sarcastically but Devin did not want to continue talking about it, especially after seeing Martin’s true character.

"Robin, if you have his address, can you just give it? Please?"

Robin paused and said,

"Send the cops to his company."

Devin frowned, not thinking it was a good idea.

"I doubt he will be there."

"If you don’t find him there, then I will give you, his address," Robin assured him but Devin was confused and asked,

"I don’t understand. If you were faced with a situation like this, would you be able to come to the office?"

Chapter 215: [Bonus Chapter]Chapter 215 – A lovesick teenager

Robin knew that Martin would not be at the office but was only trying to prove a point.

"The video has caused a huge blow to his company already so if he doesn’t appear to resolve issues, it won’t survive."

"That is the reason why I suggest that you send the cops there first. The warrant of arrest with their presence would cause panic among his staff and most of them would resign."

If more people resigned without replacements as soon as possible, then the reputation of the company would also be at stake.

Robin was not leaving any stone unturned and the more Devin understood his plans, the greater his respect for the former.

"In that case, he would either leave the company to rot and lose billions or come out to face the shame and still get arrested. Both ways, it wouldn’t look good," he analyzed thoughtfully, Robin smiled,

"It’s good you figured it out."

Since Devin arrived at a conclusion concerning Martin, his focus has now shifted to Mara.

All along, he never suspected the relationship between her and Martin because every time he expressed his anger about that incident, Martin would sympathize with him and even feign being upset with Mara.

"What level have you reached with Mara?"

"She’s dead."

A frown settled on Robin’s face whilst he spoke, feeling that Devin would not believe anything he had to say about the evil woman.

Devin shook his head but was not annoyed.

"Matilda told me everything Robin, how you sent all those shreds of evidence. I know that Mara is alive and I want to kill her myself."

Devin’s revelation was unexpected to Robin but he figured that it was because Devin saw Martin for who he was that he became more open-minded.

However, something crossed Robin’s mind and he said,

"I will only give you information about her if you promise to do me two favors."

"Anything," Devin promised without thinking.

He needed information about Mara like his life depended on it but Robin meant to take advantage of the situation.

"Daniel has been teaching me how to cook for a few weeks now but he doesn’t know how to prepare many dishes. I need your help," he revealed.

He was not sure as to whether or not Devin knew how to cook but since he was Sabrina’s elder brother and Sabrina cooked very well, he only guessed.

If Devin indeed knew how to cook, Robin felt that he would know better the things Sabrina liked and teach him those.

With Daniel, he was just learning how to cook simple dishes but not any specific ones like he desired to learn from Devin.

"Why would you want to learn how to cook?" Devin’s brows knit together at the question and Robin responded with a smile,

"I want to surprise Sabrina."

When talking about Sabrina, he looked like a lovesick teenager.

Devin laughed.

"You have a lot of chefs," he pointed out, wondering why Robin would not let any of them including the one who sent food to the mansion every day for Sabrina to teach him.

Robin did not mind explaining it to him.

"I figured it would be good that I know a lot of things before seeking their help to perfection. I don’t want to be laughed at."

After a second pause, he added again,

"Also, they don’t know what Sabrina specifically likes. Pregnancy might make her take a liking to some delicacies so whatever she might be asking for now, might not be her favorite."

Devin could not stop laughing, since Robin said he did not want to be laughed at.

"I’m laughing."

"But you are family. It’s different from an employee," Robin shook his head, not regretting asking for the favor.

Devin knew he was right because most of the dishes he prepared were those they learned together from their late mother.

No matter the expensive dishes Robin sent over based on Sabrina’s request, Devin was sure that she still enjoyed his meals more because of the memories attached to them.

Robin indeed made a good decision by opting to learn from two different people.

Aside from Devin needing information about Mara, he also wanted his sister to be happy so he agreed,

"Alright. Just choose your date and time so what is the next item on the list?" He asked since Robin mentioned two favors, being eager to know whether the second favor was going to be as funny as the first one but froze at Robin’s request.

"You have to bring Sabrina to the party."

Devin was confused at this part, wondering if Robin did not want to attend the event, he was organizing by himself, which wouldn’t be a good idea.

"It’s her birthday and you are the one organizing it," he pointed out but Robin explained truthfully,

"I have to make sure that Zayla and her father are there."

Initially, Devin was upset but upon remembering what his father said that Robin might have something in his sleeves, he relaxed, wanting to use the opportunity to get a hint of what he was up to.

"Robin, please tell me everything. I’m on your side and I will help you as much as I can. I already know about the diamonds."

Robin stiffened at Devin’s confession.

"Does Sabrina know too?" He asked seriously since that might ruin his surprise if she indeed knew.

"No. It’s just me because I refused to let my father rest until he told me everything," Devin said, not wanting Robin to think that his father was unable to keep secret the things Robin told him.

If Cobby already told Devin about it, then it only meant that he trusted Devin to keep the secret as well and revealed it after a little thought,

"Okay. The original diamonds are safe but I gave Zayla some fake ones because she knew about its existence."

Devin tried to understand Robin’s reason for making that move.

"Why do you have to come up with fake ones?" He asked and Robin explained,

"She wanted the villa because of it. She and her father would do anything to get it and since I don’t know who else is aware, I made them feel that the diamonds were fake so they have no idea that the original diamonds exist and to prevent theft," he concluded before adding,

"That is what I want everyone to think."

There was something else bothering Devin’s mind and he wondered if Robin would be honest with him but in the end, he gathered momentum and asked...
