Ch. 6..10: The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride Chapter 6-10

Chapter 6: To ruin her innocence

Magnus ran his tongue over his lips, savoring the lingering, heavenly sweetness of Alora's blood that remained in his mouth. The restraint he usually held over himself had vanished the instant he drank from her. Now, he understood why his instincts warned against consuming her blood.

"I crave more blood," Magnus admitted, his gaze fixed on the unconscious form of Alora. Shaking his head, he recognized the perilous path he was on. If he drank more from her today, Alora would definitely meet her demise.

He ran his fingers through his soft tresses and walked out of the chamber. Finding Cecilia outside, Magnus asked her to inform him once Alora woke up. As he stepped forward, Cecilia requested, "Your Highness, please send away Miss Alora. She should not stay with us."

"Cecilia, do what you are asked to do," Magnus coldly said and left her sight.

Upon reaching the sitting area in his lavish chamber, his eyes fell on Gabriel who immediately stood up from his seat.

"Greetings to Your Highness." Gabriel bowed at him and took the seats only after Magnus.

"How could a werewolf enter the western border region? An entire human caravan was attacked and there was no one around to save them. What manner of security protocols do you oversee at the Elmswood borders?" Magnus interrogated him, his tone stern and his voice laden with anger.

"The caravan was attacked in the middle of the forest, Your Highness. It was impossible for any aid to be present at such an hour," Gabriel explained. "I will give a detailed investigation report to His Highness by the evening," he assured Magnus.

"What I need right now is an explanation of how a werewolf entered the territory where their entry is banned!?" Magnus questioned him. He didn't care about any report.

"That's what we are investigating, Your Highness," Gabriel said.

"Very well. Be ready to die in the most brutal way if you don't give me a clear answer in the evening," Magnus pronounced as he glared into his eyes.

Gabriel gulped and reassured the Vampire Prince he would come with an answer.

Magnus signaled to him to leave. Gabriel wasn't late to follow the command and left.

"The werewolves are well aware of their boundaries. According to Alora too, there was a werewolf, who killed everyone with her," Magnus murmured and contemplated.

"Your Highness, pardon me for intruding in your thoughts," Tobias said, bringing the Vampire Prince's attention to him. "A message has come from your elder brother." He forwarded the parchment to Magnus.

Magnus read the message and drew his brows close. He kept it on the table and clasped his hands together. Tobias found something serious was going on. But since Magnus didn't share it with him, he remained quiet.

"Your Highness, I want you to think again regarding Miss Alora's stay in the palace," Tobias requested. "Everyone in the palace is scared of Miss Alora now," he added.

"Sadly, you all have to live in fear. I'm not sending Alora anywhere. She's the source of my food. Moreover, Alora knows how to live around you all. So, don't be worried," Magnus stated. He couldn't ignore how Alora pleaded with him to keep her with him. For a long time, he never found an interesting person like Alora.

"What if she accidentally kills one of us?" Tobias asked.

Alora, who had come to the seating area of the prince's chamber with Cecilia with her blindfold on, after waking up, overheard Tobias' conversation with Magnus.

"I don't care," Magnus said. "Alora, don't stand at the door and come inside," he loudly said. Her divine blood scent was enough for Magnus to learn of her presence.

Cecilia helped Alora in walking inside and made her sit on the chaise upon Magnus' instructions.

"Set the meals for Alora. Quick," Magnus commanded. Tobias and Cecilia left shortly.

Alora decided not to remove her blindfold when her head was lifted. Magnus' cold fingers touched her neck and stroked the spot where he bit her. The marks of his fangs were embedded on her skin.

Using his other hand, Magnus removed the blindfold from her eyes and met her gaze.

"How do you feel?" Magnus asked.

"I feel dizzy," Alora truthfully answered.

"Hmm. I won't drink from you anymore and you won't ask me to drink your blood if you want to live with me? Do you understand?" Magnus inquired.

Alora was puzzled to hear his demand. She simply nodded, accepting what he wanted. The coldness suddenly disappeared from her neck as Magnus withdrew his hand.

"You called my name when I drank from you," Magnus suddenly revealed to her and in a swift motion, he returned to his seat.

Alora's eyes widened and she immediately apologized. She had no idea how it happened and asked him to forgive her.

Magnus smiled a little but didn't say anything.

"Your Highness, the others are scared of me. I won't take off my blindfold in front of them. I don't know how to give this assurance to them. But I have always been careful." Her voice clearly showed she didn't wish to go away from Magnus. Humans would run away from a vampire, but she was doing the opposite.

Magnus sensed the desperation to be with him. Never once did anyone show interest to stay close to him.

"What will you give me to make their mouths shut?" Magnus asked. "I'm not going to feed on your blood, so I need something else from you," he proclaimed.

"What can I give to Your Highness?" Alora questioned. "Oh, I am good at cleaning. I can daily clean his chamber," she innocently murmured.

Magnus smiled to hear her words. "How old are you?" he asked.

"I am twenty-four, Your Highness," Alora answered.

"Then, why are you so naive?" Magnus asked.

"Huh?" Alora was confused to hear him. "Why doesn't His Highness tell me what he wants from me? I'll do anything he will ask me to," she opined.

Magnus amusedly glanced at her. He didn't wish to ruin her innocence. "I suppose your father will soon find out about his daughter's disappearance. Will you not return to your family if he comes in search of you in Elmswood?" He queried.

Chapter 7: Choosing a Vampire over your family

Alora blinked rapidly since Magnus asked a question, which definitely made her feel nervous. She couldn't return to her family in the capital.

"It seems your family hates you," Magnus pronounced while playing with his ring.

"No, they don't," Alora replied promptly.

"You cannot lie to me. Usually, a person if gets saved, then the first thing he wants to do is to return to his family. However, you didn't ask me to send you back. Though, you insisted at first not to take you as a servant. If there would be another woman at your place, she would have begged me to let her go." Magnus had observed already that Alora didn't get the love from her family.

"You are the eldest daughter, but instead of marrying you off, your family decided to send you far away so that their second daughter can get married." Magnus continued to tell her the observations he had made so far.

"Your Highness, the table is set for Miss Alora," a female servant informed in her humble tone.

Alora looked at the blindfold in her hand and almost tied it around her eyes when Magnus took it from her. She stood up and tried to take the blindfold from her.

"Tell everyone at the dining hall to shut their eyes," Magnus ordered the servant. She bowed and left the chamber to comply with the command.

Magnus held Alora's hand and began walking with her. She felt strange because nobody ever held her hand and nobody ever asked her not to wear the blindfold.

"Your Highness, what if someone comes in our way? I don't wish anyone to–" The remaining words couldn't come out of her mouth as Magnus suddenly halted and placed his finger over her lips. It happened within a blink of an eye, causing Alora's breath to hitch for a moment.

"You don't have to care about that. Let others live like blind people." Magnus slowly dropped his finger from her lips. He noticed their plumpness and wondered what they would taste like. He resumed the walk and shortly, they both were in the dining room.

Alora kept her gaze down because she feared if any of the servants had her eyes open, then she could burn the servant right away. Magnus let go of her hand and sat on the tall chair at the other end while he asked Alora to take a seat.

She pulled out a chair and sat on it.

"You all are dismissed," Magnus instructed, and right away the dining room emptied. "Start eating or the food will get cold," he stated.

Alora nodded and picked up the spoon. She began eating slowly and liked the taste of the food. However, she could sense Magnus's deep gaze at her. Lifting her eyes, she asked Magnus if he never ate meals.

"I vomit the meals humans take. You must have known about this," Magnus asserted. "Blood is all I need," he added.

"Doesn't His Highness feel bad for not tasting food?" Alora asked.

"Why should I feel bad?" Magnus arched his eyebrow at her.

"Uh... Because..." Alora couldn't understand what to say further. She turned quiet and silently had her meals. After having the heart-felt meal, she felt happier. Dabbing the napkin across her lips, she drank the water.

"Thank you, Your Highness, for providing me the meals," Alora said with a tiny smile.

Magnus left his seat and asked her to follow him. Alora quickly ran after him and stood close to him. "So, what are your plans after your father comes here?" he inquired as they reached the lounge area.

"Again, you are silent," Magnus chuckled and quickly sat on the comfortable sofa.

"Your Highness, can I trust you?" Alora questioned.

"Trust me with?" Magnus gestured to her to sit.

"If I tell the truth to His Highness, then he shall keep it a secret. I don't wish people to talk badly about my family," Alora stated while fidgeting with her fingers.

"It's up to you to trust me." Magnus wanted her to decide.

"Because of me, my entire family has suffered. I don't wish to return to the capital. My grandmother doesn't like me at all. I hardly received love from my father. Even my siblings never talked to me. They have always stayed away from me. I understand I'm cursed and that's why they have this hatred toward me," Alora expressed her thoughts to him.

She could never get a chance to speak all this with anyone. In fact, there was none around her who could hear her. Although her mother always was there, Alora didn't wish to trouble her.

"You are not cursed. I believe you have some strange supernatural strength. Humans are like this. If your powers not being destructive, then they would have worshipped you. Since your eyes burn people into ashes, they hate you. Strange humans!" Magnus remarked as he snickered.

Alora stopped blinking to hear his words. Magnus was the only person, who didn't call her cursed. Instead, he showed a very different perspective. She was overwhelmed with the emotions and lowered her eyes again.

"Your Highness is so kind," Alora said and tears fell from her eyes.

Magnus didn't expect her to call him kind. "I'm not kind. I'm the most vicious creature in the kingdom," he reminded her.

Alora looked into his red eyes. "Not for me. Your Highness is indeed very kind." She wiped the tears from her cheeks. Her nose and cheeks turned red in just a mere seconds of crying.

"Do you understand what you are choosing, Alora?" Magnus asked her. "You are choosing a vampire over your family. Do you really wish to live with me? Once you say yes, there's no turning back. All your life, you'll be with me," he affirmed while waiting for her answer.

Alora fidgeted with her fingers as she contemplated. "I have no problem living with Your Highness. I want my family to be happy and their happiness is my disappearance from their lives," she pronounced and gazed into his eyes. "I am willing to live here with His Highness," she announced her decision to him.

Magnus smirked, his eyes glistened and he said, "Alora, you have made the worst mistake of your life."

Chapter 8: Taking someone's life isn't a play

Alora peered at Magnus due to his weird response. "Worst mistake? Why?" she queried.

"Think," Magnus replied.

Alora pursed her lips together and knitted her brows together. She couldn't think of any reason why the Vampire Prince said that to her. She lifted her eyes again. "Why doesn't Your Highness tell me?" she humbly requested.

"Think hard. I have some work outside, so I'll see you later." Magnus rose to his feet, ready to leave when Alora asked him to take her to the chamber, where she was supposed to stay.

"Are you giving an order to me?" Magnus cocked his eyebrow.

Promptly Alora stood up. "No. I don't dare to do that. I requested to Your Highness," she murmured and then forwarded her hand. "I need my blindfold. I'll ask someone else outside to help me," she stated.

Magnus took hold of her hand instead of offering her the blindfold, pulling her closer until she almost brushed against his clothed chest. Her heart raced instantly as her gaze locked with his.

"Was there no one who sought to marry you?" Magnus asked abruptly.

"No. Why does His Highness inquire?" Alora responded.

"Because I have something on my mind," Magnus revealed.

"What is it?" Alora asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

"I'll tell you later. Let me take you to your chamber. Your lunch meal be provided to you on time. Also, if anyone mistreats you, you've to tell me. Don't keep it inside you," Magnus said and pivoted on his heels. They both began walking while Alora locked her gaze on their hands.

She then glanced at his back and smiled. 'He is such a nice man, better than humans. I was so wrong about vampires,' she thought in her mind. Alora wondered if he would not feed on her, then what else she could provide to him. He already had everything, she realized.

Soon, she reached her chamber and Magnus let go of her hand. The coldness on her hand vanished instantly and she peered at him.

"Here's the blindfold," Magnus said and placed it in her hand.

"Thank you," Alora said. She felt his fingers brushing her hair back. 'He is a caring person too,' she thought.

"If anyone troubles you, burn him or her. You should enjoy your power a bit," Magnus suggested with a smile as he dropped his hand down.

"Taking someone's life isn't a play," Alora remarked.

"Hearing bad remarks about yourself isn't a play either. If I had your eyes, I would have forced others to keep their eyes down," Magnus stated and left her sight.

Alora watched him leave and smiled. "I wish my family had the same thoughts as the Vampire Prince," she murmured and walked inside.

~~~~~
Norman was quite happy since Venus's marriage was finally fixed. Madam Aubrey distributed the sweets and gifts in the entire capital on this occasion. Lady Rhea just entered the seating area with a bright smile on her face.
"Once Venus is married, then we can bring our Alora back," Rhea stated.
"Alora isn't returning to this house anymore," Norman pronounced. "You can definitely go to see her, but don't expect that I'll bring her back," he cleared her.
Rhea's heart sank to hear about it. Before she could protest, she heard Venus' voice. "Mother, it's the time for our happiness. Let Alora live in Elmswood even after my marriage. Everyone in the capital is happy to learn that Alora no longer lives with us," she asserted with an annoyed look and sat beside her grandmother.
"Don't say this about your elder sister. It wasn't Alora's fault to be born with such eyes," Rhea said with a saddened expression.
"Pardon me for intruding in the conversation, but a messenger has come from Elmswood," a servant informed them.
"Did my daughter reach safely to the Elmswood?" Rhea asked while having a tiny smile on her lips.
"Lady Rhea, a vampire has come with a message. He wishes to see Lord Norman," the servant informed.
"A vampire?" Norman immediately left his seat and so did the others. All of them went outside and were a bit scared to see the vampire.
Norman stepped ahead and had a formal greeting with the messenger vampire.
"This is Odin, from the palace of Elmswood," the messenger vampire introduced himself.
"Please come inside," Norman asked.
"No, I'm fine," Odin replied. "Last night the caravan in which your daughter was attacked by a werewolf," he began.
Rhea widened her eyes and quickly moved to the front. "My daughter... Is she fine? Please tell us," Rhea asked. Her heart pounded rapidly in fear.
"Calm down, Rhea. Let me talk," Norman said and asked Venus to take her mother inside. Norman had this odd feeling that Alora was dead and he didn't wish Rhea to hear it directly.
"Miss Alora is the only one, who survived the attack. Prince Magnus has saved her life and brought her to the palace of Elmswood," Odin explained to them.
Rhea took a sigh of relief but the moment she heard that Alora was in the palace where the vicious Vampire Prince lived, she was terrified again.
"I want Mr. Wilson to accompany me to the Elmswood and take his daughter back," Odin said.
"My lord, I'll also accompany you to Elmswood," Rhea requested.
"You should stay here, Rhea. Venus needs you since her marriage is near," Madam Aubrey intervened. "Alora is fine, so even Norman doesn't have to go there. We will send someone else to take Alora to the old residence of ours," she suggested.
"How can you say this, Mother? Alora must be worried. I will go there if my husband refuses to go," Rhea stated.
Odin observed everything as he had to inform all this to Magnus.
"Rhea, we will go later to the Elmswood. Venus' marriage is within this week and our presence is necessary here. Let's send someone else for now," Norman asserted. He was not interested in seeing Alora anymore.
"How can Lord Norman can even think of ignoring our eldest daughter? Venus's marriage can happen even without me. I'll go to Elmswood and bring my daughter back," Rhea announced.
"And if the mother leaves, she will never see me talking with her. I will consider my mother is no longer alive," Venus pronounced.
Chapter 9: Please, forgive me
Rhea pivoted to glance at Venus. "Your sister was attacked last night. Don't you care for her?" she questioned her second daughter.
"Alora is alive. What's there to worry? I am sure she escaped the death because of her eyes. Mother, I'll be wedded off within a week. Don't ruin anything because of Alora," Venus requested and left her sight.
Lady Aubrey reprimanded Rhea for upsetting Venus. She told Norman to send some servant with Odin and she too, walked away.
Rhea's eyes filled with tears and with her last hopes, she glanced at her husband, Norman. He was the father of Alora, their first daughter, so he would not ignore Alora like this. It was only about a day and they could return.
However, her last hope was also shattered as Norman decided to send a servant with Odin. "Take her to the old residence," Norman ordered the servant and gazed at Odin.
"Then, I must take my leave," Odin said and went out, followed by the servant.
"Have you not heard about the Vampire Prince Magnus?" Rhea wanted to know if Norman even ever loved Alora.
"Even Prince Magnus is scared of her," Norman said. "That's why she's alive in his palace," he stated and glanced at his wife. "After Venus's marriage, you can go and check on Alora," he suggested. He excused himself since he had a few works to finish.
Tears streamed down Rhea's cheeks. No one cared for Alora. They all hated her. "Forgive your mother, Alora. I'll come to you once Venus is married. I know you'll understand my compulsion to be here," she murmured while sobbing. Her heart ached with the thought that Alora was being punished by everyone for no reason. She was such a beautiful and obedient child, but nobody in the family loved her.
Wiping the tears from her the back of her palm, Rhea went inside. She went to Venus's room and walked in.
Venus looked extremely delighted to see the jewelry that had come from her in-law's house. She even checked them on with the help of her personal attendant.
"Mother, see how pretty this looks on me," Venus remarked as she saw Rhea's reflection in the mirror.
"It is," Rhea said with a smile, but her entire focus was now on Alora.
"Mother, don't be upset because of Alora. Look how everything turned good after she left. Her curse badly affected our lives. Grandma is absolutely right. She is a cursed witch. You have me and Elliot too. At least, unlike Alora, we aren't fully dependent on you," Venus muttered while rolling her eyes.
"Don't call your sister a cursed witch. Next time you do and I've to teach you the manners," Rhea suddenly shouted at her before leaving the room.
~~~~~

Alora stared at the ceiling while tapping her fingers on the back of her other palm. "Why is Prince Magnus not back yet?" she murmured to herself. The dinner hour was approaching, but Magnus had still not arrived.

She sat up and got her feet on the floor. She wore the sandals and then put on the blindfold. Alora then called for Cecilia, who was present outside the bedroom, and entered the room with her eyes low.

"Did His Highness return?" Alora asked.

"Not now, Miss Alora," Cecilia answered. "The Vampire Prince usually returns late. I'm sure he had been drinking someone's blood since it's necessary to keep up with his strength," she explained to Alora.

"Oh." Alora contemplated why Magnus had to go out for blood. Was she too weak to provide him the blood? She truly wanted to let him drink her blood since Magnus helped her a lot.

"Why doesn't Miss Alora request His Highness to send you back? Your family must be worried for you. I heard from the Head Chamberlain that the humans with you were brutally murdered." Cecilia made her remember the memory of the last night.

Alora didn't comment on that and remained silent.

Cecilia wished Alora should go on her own from the palace. It was impossible to work around her without being feared. So, these were some of the few ways that she could use to make Alora feel guilty and leave.

"Miss Alora can tell His Highness how she wishes to return to her family. He will readily agree to it since keeping a human around hasn't happened before," Cecilia explained to her.

"I'm sorry for providing inconvenience to you. I'll ask His Highness not to let anyone in my assistance. You don't have to be scared of me," Alora stated in her humble tone.

Cecilia sensed that Alora had no intention to leave the palace. But why?

"The Prince has returned," informed another servant, who brought an instant smile to Alora's lips. She was excited to see him. Extending her hand out, she took slow, deliberate steps. By now, she knew in what direction the door was, so it wasn't difficult for her to walk toward it.

Cecilia went behind her since Alora should not get hurt in any way or Magnus would kill her. She held Alora's arm gently and told her she would take her to the Prince's chamber.

Alora looked excited and thanked her for the help. Soon, they were in the prince's chamber and Cecilia took her leave.

"What is Miss Alora doing here?" Tobias' voice fell into her ears, which was new to her.

"I came to see His Highness the Vampire Prince," Alora replied.

"He will rest for some time. The day was loaded with work for the prince," Tobias humbly informed her.

"Oh."

Tobias left first while Alora opened her blindfold. She decided to greet the prince once and then leave for her place. Alora went ahead in search of Magnus and ended up reaching his bedroom.

It was the grandest bedroom she had ever seen. Stepping ahead, Alora's feet jammed on the floor as she saw sight of Magnus undressing. Her eyes widened when the Vampire Prince turned to her and their eyes met.

"Please, forgive me," Alora promptly turned around and decided to run out of the bedroom.

Chapter 10: To stay the entire night here

"Stop right there!" Magnus ordered, and Alora halted at her place. "Close the door," he added.

"Huh? Why?" Alora asked in a trembling voice and gulped.

"Don't ask questions. Just close the door, Alora," Magnus said with a stern tone.

"I'll come after His Highness changes his clothes." Alora went toward the door, ignoring his command when with a gush of wind Magnus appeared in front of her. The door was shut with a loud voice and Alora's breath hitched.

Fortunately, Alora had closed her eyes, so she couldn't see Magnus' naked sight. "Your Highness, if anyone comes here and sees us together, then the matter can escalate. I shall wait for His Highness outside in the lounge," she humbly said despite being feared.

"I don't wish to let you go," Magnus whispered in her ear.

Realizing Magnus's closeness, Alora promptly opened her eyes and tilted her head to gaze at him. "I won't ever enter Your Highness' bedroom without his permission. Please, forgive me this time," Alora said as her lips trembled.

"What if I don't want to forgive you?" Magnus inquired.

"Why? Your Highness, everyone makes mistakes, even princes," Alora spoke gently, attempting to calm him after her release.

"I NEVER perceive my bad actions as mistakes. I'll forgive you once you open your eyes and truly see me," Magnus declared firmly.

"What? No! I couldn't possibly gaze upon Your Highness," Alora adamantly refused to open her eyes.

"Then, you've to stay the entire night here," Magnus stated and took a step away from her.

Immediately, Alora opened her eyes and looked at him. Magnus was not naked. He already was in his clothes and had been enjoying the expressions on her face.

"Such a cute little human!" Magnus smiled and walked past her to sit on the reclining comfortable chair.

Alora realized he was teasing her and even enjoyed the way she reacted. "Why did Your Highness act as if he was... without clothes?" her voice lowered along with her gaze.

"Because it was fun to see your facial expressions," Magnus replied. "Did you miss me?" he then asked, bringing her attention to him.

"No," Alora lied.

"Then, why did you look so desperate to see me?" Magnus questioned her.

"I wasn't desperate," Alora stated.

Magnus cocked his eyebrow at her in amusement.

"I did miss His Highness a little," Alora then replied.

Meanwhile, Magnus kept his finger on his temple, engrossed in reading the parchment, while Alora let her eyes wander around the opulent bedroom, still marveling at its magnificence.

"You seem to like my bedroom," Magnus said as he put back the parchment on the small, circular table.

"Yes," Alora answered with a glint in her eyes.

"Do you wish to be in this bedroom?" Magnus asked.

"Why would I live in Your Highness's bedroom?" Alora inquired.

Magnus ended up chuckling. "Have you thought of the answer to the question I asked you?" he suddenly made her recall their morning's interaction.

"I couldn't come up with any answer, Your Highness. I don't know why you said it's my worst mistake for choosing to live here, with you, rather than my family," Alora truthfully told him.

A knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

"Odin is here, Your Highness," Tobias said from outside.

Magnus stood up from his seat and went to the door. He opened it while Alora wore the blindfold quickly. However, the problem was she needed someone's help to go outside. She felt a familiar hand grabbing hers.

Magnus walked outside with her and brought her to the seating area. After he made her sit, Magnus himself sat on the central sofa while Odin and Tobias remained standing. They both were inquisitive to know why Magnus was gentle to Alora.

Alora wondered what was the matter that the atmosphere looked so serious when finally Odin spoke.

"Greetings to Your Highness. I went to Miss Wilson's home and informed them about her presence in the palace of Elmswood," Odin informed Magnus.

Alora was shocked to learn that. She thought Magnus would not inform about her presence in Elmswood Palace to her family. But in front of the prince, she couldn't even argue. "What did my family say? They aren't worried for me, are they?" she thought they would come to Elmswood to take her to the capital.

Magnus gazed at Odin as he suddenly turned silent. "Will you make us wait till tomorrow morning?" he annoyingly asked.

"No, Your Highness," Odin said.

"Then, speak," Magnus stated.

"Norman Wilson has sent a servant with me, who will take Miss Wilson to their old family residence," he replied. "Also, Miss Wilson's family doesn't care about her. Except for her mother, no one wants her to return to the capital." Odin began narrating everything that he had witnessed in the Wilson's house.

"Because their second daughter is getting married, so they think Miss Alora's presence could only bring disaster there. Even Miss Alora's younger sister hates her. No one wanted Miss Alora, except her mother, who also has to stay quiet," Odin stated with a chuckle.

Tears emerged in Alora's eyes as she tightly clasped her fingers. She didn't wish anyone except Magnus to know about her family, but the opposite happened. Now, they all knew how hated a child she was in her own house!

Alora feared that even Magnus would kick her out of the palace. A hope that she had built to live with him had suddenly shattered.

"I'll ask the servant to take Miss Alora to her old family residence," Tobias pronounced and asked Alora if she should come with him.

Alora left her seat and thanked Magnus for giving her his precious time. Her eyes welled up in tears as they even damped her blindfold.

"Close your eyes," Magnus finally pronounced, ordering Tobias and Odin.

They both were confused to hear the instructions from the prince. But without raising a question, they closed their eyes.

Magnus appeared in front of Alora and opened her blindfold. His hands cradled her neck, lifting it so that their eyes could lock with each other. His thumbs wiped the tears off her eyes and in his husky, deep voice, "I'm going to make them cry. Send a message to Norman Wilson and his entire family to show their presence here tomorrow morning. If they fail, they all will die."
