Ch. 301..305: Trapped in a Secret Marriage with a Dangerous Billionaire Chapter 301-305
Chapter 301: The Fear of Tea Time Gossip Blog
The Swift Family Residence was quiet when Olivia arrived home. The sleek black car pulled up smoothly in front of the grand entrance, and before the butler could step forward to greet her, she was already out, her heels clicking against the pavement as she hurried inside.
"Welcome home, Miss Olivia," the butler said politely.
She ignored him.
Olivia took the stairs two at a time, rushing toward the sanctuary of her bedroom. As soon as she stepped in, she slammed the door shut behind her, sealing herself away from the world.
Her bag landed on the bed with a careless toss, but she didn’t stop moving. She paced across the room, her arms folded tightly over her chest, her mind racing.
The scene at the club replayed over and over again, refusing to fade.
Casey. Her missing eye.
Olivia swallowed hard, pressing a hand to her forehead as if she could physically push the memory away. She had never imagined running into Casey again, let alone discovering that.
The moment her sunglasses fell off, the crowd collectively gasped, everyone looked in horror, and Casey stood there, exposed and humiliated.
Olivia hadn’t expected that to happen because she never knew about the defect in the first place.
But why was she the one feeling restless now? Why was she the one pacing her bedroom like a caged animal?
Because something wasn’t right.
A flicker of suspicion whispered through Olivia’s mind, and suddenly, her thoughts shifted.
That night. Her wedding night.
It was a distant memory, but one that now came rushing back with alarming clarity.
Casey had betrayed her that night. Olivia remembered it well. She had secretly recorded a conversation between her and Owen on the balcony—proof that could have ruined everything if it had made its way to Aurora.
But it hadn’t because she had found out, and had stopped it.
A shiver ran down her spine as she remembered going straight to her mother, fuming, demanding that something be done about it.
And her mother had done something. She took care of it.
Her mother had arranged for a waiter to steal Casey’s phone, ensuring that the evidence was wiped before it could be used against her.
It had been so simple. So clean.
But what if...?
A new thought slithered into her mind, chilling her to the core.
What if that wasn’t all her mother had done?
Olivia stopped pacing. Her stomach twisted.
Her legs suddenly felt weak, so she sat down at the edge of her bed, gripping the sheets tightly.
"No. No. It can’t be," she whispered, shaking her head violently.
Her mother was ruthless, yes. Calculated, yes.
But... this?
She couldn’t have gone that far over something as small.
She wouldn’t have gone that far.
Right?
Meanwhile...
Across the city, in a dimly lit apartment, Casey let out a piercing scream before hurling a glass against the wall. The sharp shatter echoed through the small space, but it wasn’t enough to silence the agony clawing inside her.
Her living room was already a disaster—pillows flung to the floor, furniture askew, broken fragments of a ceramic lamp scattered across the carpet.
But she didn’t care.
Tears streamed down her right eye as she clutched her head, her body trembling with rage and unbearable grief.
The humiliation tonight had been too much.
Olivia. That witch.
She had exposed her.
Casey had worked so hard to avoid this. To keep her weakness hidden. But in one careless moment, Olivia had ripped that security away from her.
Her nails dug into her arms as she curled into herself, rocking slightly.
She had spent months pretending. Lying to herself that she could still hold her head up high, that she was more than what had been stolen from her.
But the moment everyone had seen her like that—pointing, whispering—she had felt that old, familiar despair creep in again.
Like the night she had been kidnapped.
Beaten.
Violated.
Her eye stolen from her, leaving her to die in an abandoned building like discarded trash.
The memory crashed into her all at once, suffocating her, drowning her in rage and pain.
Her breath came out in short, sharp gasps as she clenched her fists.
"Olivia. I will kill you with my own hands," Casey swore, her voice thick with fury.
Her vision blurred with more tears, but she forced herself to breathe.
She had wasted too much time sulking.
No more.
Sniffing sharply, Casey reached for her phone. Her hands trembled slightly as she scrolled through her contacts.
Then, she found it.
Juliet.
Without hesitation, she pressed the call button.
One ring.
Two.
"Casey?" Juliet’s voice came through, surprised. "It’s late. What’s up?"
Casey didn’t waste time with pleasantries.
"When was the last time you saw Owen?" she demanded.
Juliet hesitated. "... Almost two months ago. I’ve been avoiding him. My baby bump is showing, and I don’t want him to find out before we’re ready."
Casey exhaled through her nose. "Change of plans."
Juliet blinked. "What do you mean?"
"Tell him," Casey said sharply. "Tell him about the baby. Now."
A beat of silence.
"...Are you sure?" Juliet asked carefully. "Why the sudden change?"
Casey’s jaw tightened. "Just do it." She didn’t owe Juliet an explanation, but far from that, she wasn’t in that right frame of mind to start recounting how she was humiliated.
All she knew was that things needed to shift. And quickly.
Juliet didn’t press further. "Alright. I’ll do it tomorrow morning."
Casey ended the call without another word.
---
Back at the Swift Family Residence...
Olivia sat stiffly in her room, but her thoughts were far from settled.
After discarding the horrifying theory about her mother, a new problem surfaced. The media.
She cursed under her breath.
Tea Time Gossip Blog lived for scandal, and tonight had been too public.
Victor’s loudmouth, the crowd’s reaction, Casey’s exposure—it had been a spectacle.
And if even one person had recorded it—if even one video surfaced online—her reputation would be dragged through hell again.
Her stomach twisted. ’I just got back to Vintage Cellar. If this mess reached Aunt Stephanie, she would never let me hear the end of it. And the media? They’d never let me off.’
Clutching her head, Olivia shut her eyes tightly.
She prayed silently and desperately that she would not wake up to any scandal with her name on it.
Because if there was, she would lose everything. Again.
Chapter 302: Acceptance with Conditions
The next morning, Juliet sat on the edge of her bed, gripping her phone tightly. Her heart pounded against her ribcage as she stared at Owen’s name on the screen.
She had been waiting for this moment for months. And finally, it was here.
With a deep breath, she pressed the call button.
One ring.
Two.
Three.
By the fifth ring, she thought he wouldn’t pick up. Then, finally—
"Juliet." His voice was cool, distant.
Juliet swallowed. "I—I need to see you."
Silence.
She could tell he was debating whether to end the call right there.
A part of her wouldn’t even blame him. She had been avoiding him for months, ignoring his messages and calls, keeping him in the dark.
"Please, Owen," she added, her voice softer now. "It’s important."
A heavy sigh crackled through the line. Then, finally, he asked, "Where?"
She exhaled in relief, quickly mentioning a location.
At first, she had thought he would refuse to meet her altogether. But deep down, she knew the truth.
Owen liked her. A lot.
And despite his stubbornness, that was the only reason she was getting this chance.
---
Two Hours Later...
The restaurant Juliet had chosen was quiet, a small upscale café tucked away from the public eye. She sat at a private booth near the window, hands placed nervously on her lap as she waited.
Then, she saw him.
Owen stepped in, dressed in a fitted track suit, exuding confidence and a hint of irritation.
His sharp gaze landed on her, and for a brief moment, she saw something else flicker in his expression.
Shock.
Because now, there was no hiding it.
Her six-month baby bump was clear as day.
Owen strode towards her, taking the seat opposite hers without breaking eye contact. "Juliet." His voice was calm, but she could feel the storm brewing underneath.
Juliet swallowed hard. "Owen, I—"
"When were you going to tell me?" His voice was firm, cutting through her attempt at an explanation. He already knew why she wanted to see him. "Or were you planning to hide it until you gave birth?"
"I was scared." Juliet’s voice was barely above a whisper. "I didn’t know how you’d react."
Owen scoffed. "So, instead of talking to me, you disappeared for months?"
Juliet bit her lip. Her hands trembled slightly as she placed them over her stomach with tears in her eyes. "I—I know I was wrong. But please, don’t ask me to get rid of it." Her voice broke slightly. "If you don’t want the child, I understand. I’ll raise it alone. I won’t come to you for anything, I swear."
A tense silence stretched between them.
Juliet braced herself for the worst. She looked up just in time to see Owen reach into his pocket, pulling out a crisp white handkerchief. Without a word, he extended it toward her.
Juliet hesitated before taking it, dabbing the tears that had unknowingly escaped.
"I don’t want you to get rid of it." Owen’s voice was softer now, but there was still a hard edge to it. "I’ll take responsibility."
Juliet’s breath hitched. Relief flooded through her. "Really?"
"Yes," Owen said firmly. "But that doesn’t mean I’m not angry, Juliet. You kept something this huge from me. You didn’t trust me enough to tell me."
"I know," she whispered. "I’m so sorry, Owen. I just... I didn’t know how to break the news. And then, you were going through your divorce with Olivia."
Owen leaned back into his seat, watching her carefully. His emotions were a mix of frustration and something deeper—something almost resembling happiness.
Despite everything, he had a child, and the thought of that filled him with an unexpected sense of pride.
"I’ll let my parents know," he said after a pause.
Juliet stiffened. "Your parents?"
Owen nodded. "They need to know."
A fresh wave of nerves crashed over her. "What if they don’t accept the baby? Or worse... what if they try to take the child from me?"
Owen’s gaze hardened. "That won’t happen."
Juliet searched his face for reassurance, and after a moment, she nodded.
"Tonight," Owen said. "I’ll take you to them tonight."
Juliet’s heart pounded, but she found herself nodding again. "Alright."
---
The Scott Family Residence.
That same evening, a car rolled smoothly through the grand iron gates of the Scott estate, the towering mansion coming into view.
Juliet’s fingers curled into Owen’s sleeve as she stepped out of the vehicle, taking in the vastness of his family home in awe.
Juliet shot him a nervous look. "Your parents won’t chase me out. Will they?"
He squeezed her hand. "Relax. They won’t scold you."
She nodded, but the anxiety in her stomach remained.
Together, they walked through the grand double doors and into the luxurious living room, where Owen’s parents were watching TV.
Richard and Patricia turned their heads as the door opened, their expressions shifting instantly at the sight before them.
Juliet, the baby bump and the way Owen was holding her hand.
Patricia’s eyes narrowed slightly. Richard’s brow furrowed.
Owen was the first to speak. "Mom. Dad." He gave them a respectful nod. "I have something important to tell you."
Juliet swallowed hard. "G-good evening," she greeted nervously.
His parents didn’t respond. Instead, their gazes settled once more on the undeniable bump.
Owen led Juliet to the sofa, gesturing for her to sit. She hesitated before carefully lowering herself beside him, keeping her hands folded in her lap.
"I want you to meet Juliet," Owen said smoothly. "She’s my girlfriend."
Patricia’s brows lifted slightly at that.
"And," Owen continued, "she’s carrying my child. Six months along."
Silence.
It took a while for everything Owen said to be registered in his parents’ head. This was just too sudden for them.
But not wanting to waste anyone’s time, his father was the first to break the silence.
"No child of the Scott family will be born out of wedlock," Richard declared with his gaze on Owen. "Get married immediately!"
Owen and Juliet’s heads snapped toward him.
"Wha?" Owen asked, momentarily caught off guard.
Patricia nodded in agreement. "We will arrange a private wedding—no media involvement."
Juliet’s stomach dropped. This was beyond what she had expected. And she was happy.
Owen turned to his father. "That’s not what we came here for. This was just to let you know—"
Richard cut him off. "There will be no discussion, Owen."
Juliet glanced nervously at Owen, fearing that he would refuse. But to her utter shock, after a moment of tense silence, he gave in.
"...Fine." Owen exhaled through his nose. "We will have the wedding." He had been sceptical about marriage after everything he had gone through with Olivia. Fortunately, Juliet wasn’t anything like her.
Juliet tried to hide her smile. But before she could process the situation fully, Richard spoke again.
"Before the wedding," he said firmly, "a DNA test will be conducted." His sharp gaze locked onto Juliet. "We need proof that this child is truly Owen’s. And only then, can we meet your parents."
Juliet straightened her back, meeting his gaze without hesitation. "I have no objections. I’ll do it."
Satisfied with her response, Richard nodded.
Patricia leaned forward slightly. "If everything goes well, the wedding will be held within two to four weeks. Shortly before Christmas."
Owen nodded in understanding.
Juliet, however, struggled to keep up.
Was this really happening?
In just a few hours, she had gone from telling Owen about her pregnancy to being engaged.
She couldn’t wait to break this good news to Casey.
Chapter 303: Aurora Spends the Day with Old Mrs. Scott
A few Days Later...
The crisp morning air carried a slight chill as Xander’s black luxury S-class sedan pulled into the hospital’s private parking lot. As soon as the engine went off, Xander stepped out of the driver’s seat and walked around to open the door for Aurora.
"Careful," he murmured, offering his hand.
Aurora took it, stepping out gracefully. The warmth of his palm against hers sent a sense of calm through her.
Though she was already four months pregnant, Aurora’s bump was still small, only just beginning to make its presence known beneath her elegant sweater dress. Yet, Xander treated her as though she were carrying something far more fragile than life itself.
Inside the hospital, they were quickly guided to their appointment. The familiar sterile scent of the clinic filled Aurora’s nostrils as they walked through the halls. She squeezed Xander’s hand lightly, and he glanced at her.
"Nervous?" he asked.
She shook her head. "Not really. Just... excited."
When they reached the doctor’s office, a nurse ushered them inside. The doctor, greeted them with a warm smile before instructing Aurora to lie down on the examination bed.
The ultrasound machine beeped softly as the cool gel was applied to her stomach. Xander stood beside her, his hand resting lightly on her arm as they both watched the screen.
"There’s your little one, still developing healthily" the doctor said, turning the screen toward them.
Aurora felt her breath hitch. There, on the monitor, was a small yet unmistakable form, moving ever so slightly.
Xander smiled, his grip on her arm tightening. "Look at it. I guess it’s happy." he whispered.
Then, the doctor glanced at them. "Would you like to know the baby’s gender?"
Aurora and Xander turned to each other at the same time, their eyes locking. A silent conversation passed between them—one filled with excitement, anticipation, and mutual agreement.
They smiled and shook their heads in unison. "Not yet," Xander answered for them both. "We’d like to wait a little longer."
The doctor nodded in understanding before continuing the check-up. "Just for your information, you can find out about your baby’s gender on your next appointment."
Before they left, the doctor frowned slightly as she studied Aurora’s medical records and mentioned that she was a bit mentally stressed.
Aurora blinked. "Stressed?"
The doctor nodded. "Nothing too concerning, but it’s important to take care of your mental well-being, especially during pregnancy. Stress can have effects on both the mother and the baby. Try to rest more, avoid unnecessary worries, and take time for yourself."
Xander’s face darkened slightly, his protective instincts immediately kicking in. He turned to Aurora, concern evident in his eyes.
"Are you feeling overwhelmed?" he asked softly.
Aurora shook her head quickly. "No, I’m fine. I just have a lot on my plate at work. But I can ask my Aunt to do something about it. Also thankfully, Olivia is back now."
The doctor sighed and handed her a pamphlet on pregnancy wellness. "Be mindful, Aurora. Your health comes first. Listen to your body."
Xander took the pamphlet from Aurora before she could protest. "I’ll make sure she does," he assured the doctor, and Aurora playfully rolled her eyes at him.
After finishing the check-up, they left the hospital, walking hand in hand toward the car.
As they reached the vehicle, Aurora glanced up at Xander. "How long is your meeting going to take?"
He exhaled as he opened the car door for her. "Not sure. I’m not the one convening it, so it depends. But I’ll come to pick you up afterward."
Aurora nodded, satisfied with his answer, and let him help her into the car.
---
Xander dropped Aurora off at his family’s old residence before heading to his meeting.
As soon as Aurora walked in, the familiar scent of freshly baked bread and mild spices filled her senses.
Old Mrs. Scott was waiting for her in the grand sitting area, a pleased smile spreading across her face as she beckoned Aurora closer.
"My dear, come here," she said, extending her hands.
Aurora smiled warmly and greeted her in the same way Xander always did—by taking her hand, kissing the back of it, and gently pressing it against her forehead.
The old lady’s smile widened in approval. "Ah, you’re learning well," she said, patting Aurora’s cheek affectionately.
Aurora chuckled. "Xander taught me."
"And where is that husband of yours?" the old lady asked as she gestured for Aurora to sit beside her.
Aurora adjusted herself into the seat. "He had a meeting. He will come to pick me up when it’s done." Then Aurora asked about Old Mr. Scott, as he was nowhere in sight.
Old Mrs. Scott nodded in understanding. "Your father-in-law is out playing golf with his friends."
As they chatted, the old lady led Aurora toward the dining room. "I prepared something special for you," she proudly announced. You mentioned craving something spicy, so I made roasted sweet potatoes with peppered snails and chicken pepper soup with rice."
Aurora’s eyes lit up. "You remembered?"
"Of course," the old woman said, guiding her to the table. "A pregnant woman’s cravings must be taken seriously."
Aurora’s mouth practically watered at the sight of the food. "I’m already drooling," she admitted, laughing as she took a seat.
Old Mrs. Scott personally served the food onto Aurora’s plate before watching her take the first bite. Aurora hummed in delight, closing her eyes as she savoured the burst of flavours.
"You like it?" the old lady asked, smiling in satisfaction.
Aurora nodded, swallowing before answering. "It’s perfect."
They ate together, sharing quiet conversation, before moving to the living room where the old lady finalized the plans for their upcoming family vacation.
Aurora listened as the planner mentioned different family-friendly activities. Her interest was piqued when they mentioned a gingerbread house-making contest.
"I love that idea," Aurora said instantly.
Old Mrs. Scott chuckled. "I thought you might." Then she sighed. "We were supposed to go camel riding in the desert, but I cancelled it since you’re pregnant."
Aurora frowned. "You didn’t have to cancel it on my behalf. Everyone else should still have fun."
The old lady shook her head. "Nonsense. I want everyone to bond, not separate."
Aurora laughed but didn’t argue further.
Soon, she needed to use the bathroom, but having stuffed herself with so much food, she found it difficult to get up. She groaned dramatically, and Old Mrs. Scott laughed at the sight of her struggling.
Chapter 304: Owen is Off the Market
By the time Xander arrived to pick Aurora up, the evening had set in. He greeted his mother the same way he always did, sitting down for a brief moment to catch up and eat some salads as he didn’t want to eat anything else.
When asked about his meeting, he replied, "It went well."
Then, Old Mrs. Scott dropped unexpected news. "Owen is getting married again," she said.
Xander’s fork paused mid-air. Aurora, who had been relaxing on the couch, blinked in surprise.
"Where did you hear that?" Xander asked.
"Your brother, Richard, told me last night."
Xander and Aurora exchanged a look.
"It’s only been a few weeks since his divorce," Xander muttered. "Why the rush?"
Old Mrs. Scott’s next words explained it all. "The woman he’s marrying is pregnant."
Xander set his fork down. Aurora sat up straighter.
"And the wedding is in two weeks," Old Mrs. Scott added. "Which means Owen will be bringing his new wife to the family vacation."
Xander exhaled sharply, shaking his head. "Aurora and I won’t be attending that wedding," he declared, and he wasn’t even joking about it.
Old Mrs. Scott sighed but didn’t push the matter.
When it was time to leave, Xander took Aurora’s hand, and they bid his mother farewell.
On the way home, Aurora didn’t mention Owen or his wedding. Instead, she turned to Xander to ask about something more important.
"Are we taking a private jet for the family Christmas trip?"
Xander smirked. "Of course."
Then, as an afterthought, he added, "By the way, your stepmother’s final hearing is next two weeks Friday. A day before Dante Group’s 40th anniversary. We can finally know the judgement on her case by then."
Aurora nodded solemnly, her mind briefly shifting to Stella. But tonight, she chose to focus on her peace.
***
Two weeks later...
Owen and Juliet got married in a very private wedding held at the Scott family’s main residence, with only a family members and a few friends in attendance.
And like Xander had said to his mother, he didn’t turn up at the wedding Aurora instead, he took his wife to the beach to play on that very day.
But the next day?? Something spectacular happened.
Tea Time Gossip Blog posted a lengthy article about Owen’s latest status. But what was a gossip about Owen without Olivia being dragged into it?

Tea Time Gossip Blog: Breaking News—Owen Scott is Officially Off the Market Again!
Wing City’s very own Owen Scott has done it again! Just weeks after finalizing his scandalous divorce from Olivia Swift, our favourite (or least favourite, depending on who you ask) young businessman has tied the knot once more. But hold onto your wigs, people—this isn’t just any random wedding.
According to our sources, Owen’s new wife isn’t a celebrity, an heiress, or a socialite. In fact, she’s the exact opposite. A complete nobody—well, at least in the eyes of Wing City’s elite.
And if that wasn’t enough tea, guess what? The new Mrs. Scott is already pregnant!
Now, we at Tea Time are not the kind to spread unconfirmed rumours, but let’s just say... the math isn’t mathing.
If the whispers are true, then Owen might have gotten his mistress-turned-wife pregnant before his marriage with Olivia even officially collapsed.
Let’s take a moment to process this.
Olivia: Divorced, single, and (unfortunately) unable to have children.
Owen: Remarried within weeks, expecting a child, living his best life.
Talk about a plot twist!
Of course, this raises one very important question: How does Olivia feel about all this?
Is she somewhere sipping wine and pretending to be unbothered? Or is she throwing designer bags at the wall while cursing Owen’s existence?
We can’t say for sure, but one thing is certain—this is the messiest post-divorce situation we’ve seen in a while!
Still, we at Tea Time are all about fairness, so let’s be nice for a moment:
Congratulations to Owen on his second marriage!
And congrats on the baby he’s about to have—especially since he lost the one Olivia was carrying!
Let’s all pray this marriage lasts longer than his first one.
Now, let’s hear it, Tea Timers! Drop your honest opinions in the comments. And don’t forget to congratulate Owen!
---
Comment Section:
@HotTeaQueen: NOT OWEN MOVING ON LIKE HIS FIRST MARRIAGE WAS JUST A JOB HE QUIT. This man really said "next!" like it was nothing.
@LoyalToTheMess: I just KNOW Olivia is somewhere foaming at the mouth. Someone check on her before she throws another tantrum.
@MissUnbothered: Olivia thought she was untouchable, and now she’s the one who lost everything. This is why you should NEVER put your life on hold for a man! Let this be a lesson, ladies.
@TheRealist: Wow. So, Owen really made his mistress his wife? And she’s already pregnant? This man didn’t even take a break.
@GirlCode101: I can’t even lie—this is mean. Imagine being married to someone, thinking you’re building a life together, only for them to move on instantly and have a child with the woman they were cheating on you with. Olivia may not be a saint, but this is cruel.
@OwenFanClub: I don’t care what anyone says—congrats to Owen! He’s clearly happy and building a family. Olivia was the toxic one in that relationship anyway.
@MilaLovesDrama: Owen remarrying so fast while Olivia is still crying about her life is sending me. Some people are really built differently!
@AnonymousBystander: This is why I tell women: NEVER give your whole life to a man. Olivia went through hell in that marriage, and now look—Owen is happy with someone else while she has nothing. Learn from this, ladies.
@SavageSophie: "Let’s pray this marriage lasts longer than his first one." LMAOOOO Tea Time is so shady, and I love it.
@WhoGivesAF: I refuse to feel bad for Olivia. She did worse to others and thought karma wouldn’t find her? She deserves this.
@Casey’sRevenge: Olivia’s biggest problem isn’t even Owen. She should be worrying about a certain someone who’s coming for her soon.
@WitnessedItAll: Hold on. What do you mean by that, @Casey’sRevenge? Spill!
---
And there you have it, folks! Some people are congratulating Owen, some are laughing at Olivia, and some are wondering if this is karma at work.
Whatever the case, Wing City is once again entertained!
Let’s just hope this new Mrs. Scott knows what she’s getting herself into. Because if history repeats itself... well.
Stay tuned, Tea Timers. We have a feeling this story is far from over.

Chapter 305: Olivia’s Enemies React to Tea Time’s Article
The bright glow of Olivia’s phone screen illuminated her dimly lit bedroom. She sat on the edge of her bed, one leg crossed over the other, lazily scrolling through her notifications—until a certain headline made her breath catch.
"Owen Scott is Officially Off the Market Again!"
Her heart stopped.
Frowning, Olivia clicked on the link, and as the article loaded, her pulse began to race. Line after line, the words blurred together, but the message was clear—Owen was married.
And not just to anyone. To her replacement.
Juliet.
The same mistress he had flaunted shamelessly while they were still married. The same woman who had lingered in the shadows, waiting for Olivia to crumble. The same woman who was now carrying his child.
Olivia’s fingers tightened around her phone, her nails digging into the glass screen.
She read the article again, this time slower, allowing every humiliating detail to sink in.
"Owen’s second wife is a non-celebrity. She doesn’t come from a wealthy family."
"There are whispers that she was already pregnant before his first marriage officially ended."
"Olivia, on the other hand, remains single and unable to have children."
The last line burned her the most.
Olivia’s vision darkened with rage. Her grip on the phone became so tight that she felt the device heat up in her palm.
Owen remarried in just a few weeks?
He got his mistress pregnant while still legally bound to her?
And now he was playing the role of a devoted husband and father-to-be, basking in the praises of the very same public that once crucified her?
Her breath came out in sharp, ragged bursts.
Then, she scrolled to the comments section.
Big mistake.
The words slashed through her like knives.
"Olivia is the one who lost in the end."
"Owen moved on so easily while she’s still stuck in the ruins of her life."
"Let this be a lesson to women—never give your whole life to a man."
"No one should pity Olivia. She deserves everything that’s happening to her."
Olivia let out a strangled laugh. Bitter. Disbelieving.
Her body trembled as she flung her phone across the room. It hit the vanity mirror with a loud crack!, the screen shattering upon impact.
Her chest heaved. Her hands clenched into fists at her sides.
She wanted to scream. She wanted to rip something apart. She wanted to undo everything.
This wasn’t how things were supposed to be. She was supposed to win.
Owen was supposed to be the one suffering, not her.
Not her.
A suffocating wave of fury and humiliation crashed over Olivia, drowning her in its suffocating depths.
She dug her nails into her palm, shaking her head violently. "No... no, this isn’t over," she whispered, her voice venomous.
Her lips curled into a bitter smirk, a dangerous glint flashing in her tear-filled eyes.
If Owen thought he could discard her like trash and live happily ever after with his mistress, he was dead wrong.
---
On the other hand, curled up on her plush pink couch, Ivy was tapping lazily on her phone, scrolling through the latest gossip, when a Tea Time Blog notification popped up at the top of her screen.
"Owen Scott is Officially Off the Market Again! And This Time, It’s Forever—Or Is It?"
Ivy raised a brow. "Oh, this should be good."
She clicked on the article, her lips twitching in anticipation.
The moment she saw the words "Owen is married... to his longtime mistress", Ivy snorted so hard she nearly dropped her phone.
And when she read the part about Juliet being already pregnant before Olivia’s marriage even ended?
That was it.
Ivy lost it.
A loud, unfiltered cackle escaped her lips as she threw her head back against the couch. Her shoulders shook, and before she knew it, she was full-on wheezing.
"OH. MY. GOD." She slapped her thigh. "Olivia got cheated on, divorced, and replaced—all in under two months?!"
The laughter kept spilling out of her, unstoppable. She had to set her phone down to catch her breath, wiping at the tears forming at the corners of her eyes.
But it didn’t end there.
She picked up the phone again, scrolled to the comments section, and that’s when she completely lost her mind.
"Olivia is the biggest loser in all this."
"Owen upgraded and left her behind—LOL."
"She went from being a wife to being a nobody in record time."
"Lesson for the ladies: Never think you’re irreplaceable."
Ivy rolled off the couch, clutching her stomach as another wave of laughter rocked through her.
"She really thought she was untouchable!" Ivy gasped between fits of giggles. "Now look at her! Divorced, barren, and watching her ex live his best life! This serves her right for being an annoying snub!"
The sheer comedy of it all had Ivy wiping tears from her eyes.
"Oh my God," she whispered, catching her breath. "I need to send this to Damien."
She snapped a screenshot of the best comments and quickly forwarded it to her brother with the caption:
"Tell me why I’m crying real tears reading this"
Still giggling, Ivy sprawled back onto the couch, sighing in satisfaction.
"Karma really doesn’t miss, huh?" she murmured to herself, shaking her head.
And just like that, her night was made.
Meanwhile, at the other end of Wing City was another person who was more excited than Ivy about Tea Time’s latest article.
---
The dim glow of her bedside lamp cast soft shadows across the room as Casey sat cross-legged on her bed, scrolling through her phone. The moment she saw the latest Tea Time Blog headline, a slow, satisfied smirk curled on her lips.
"Owen Scott is Officially Off the Market Again! And This Time, It’s Forever—Or Is It?"
She clicked on the article, her eyes glinting with amusement.
As she read each paragraph—Owen marrying his mistress, Juliet carrying his child, the possibility that he got her pregnant before even divorcing Olivia—her smirk widened.
Oh, this was gold.
Casey could already picture it;
Olivia, sitting in her grand bedroom, her face twisted in rage, her perfectly manicured fingers digging into the expensive sheets, and then—boom! The sound of glass shattering as she hurled something across the room.
Casey’s smirk deepened.
"Olivia Swift," she murmured, tilting her head as if speaking directly to her former best friend.
