Ch. 306..310: Trapped in a Secret Marriage with a Dangerous Billionaire Chapter 306-310
Chapter 306: "Mind Your Tongue, Ivy"
The morning sun streamed through the grand dining room windows, casting a golden hue over the long mahogany table where breakfast was already being served. The scent of freshly brewed coffee, buttered toast, and eggs filled the air, but the atmosphere was anything but warm.
Seated at the head of the table, Stephanie gracefully sipped her tea while her children, Ivy and Damien, quietly enjoyed their meal. Well, mostly quietly—because Ivy’s eyes twinkled with mischief.
Then came the sound of heels clicking against the marble floor.
Olivia.
Olivia had spent the entire night seething in rage after reading Tea Time’s article only to discover the bitter betrayal from Owen. She had almost cried her eyes out after discovering the ugly truth about the remarriage and the pregnancy.
It’s not like she had never expected Owen to remarry, but the fact that he married again a few weeks after their divorce, and that too, to his mistress whom he had cheated on her with on several occasions while they were still married, was the bone of contention.
Olivia kept reliving the scene in her head until she finally dozed off. But waking up this morning, her heart was still embittered.
With her chin lifted high and an air of forced indifference, Olivia sauntered toward the dining table, pulling out a chair at the other end of the table and sitting down as if nothing in the world could bother her. She elegantly unfolded a napkin and placed it on her lap before picking up her cutlery.
But Ivy? Ivy was already smirking.
"So..." Ivy started, casually twirling her spoon in her cereal. "I was reading Tea Time’s latest article yesterday night. You know, the one about Owen getting remarried to his long-time mistress? Oh! And let’s not forget the cherry on top—she’s pregnant with his child."
Her voice was light, almost playful, but the jab landed exactly where she intended it to.
Stephanie flicked her gaze toward Ivy—a subtle but firm warning.
Ivy shrugged, her lips curving into a taunting smile.
Across the table, Olivia’s grip on her fork tightened. Her jaw clenched as she slowly raised her eyes to glare at Ivy, a storm brewing behind them.
"Shut your mouth," Olivia snapped, her tone sharp as a blade.
Ivy feigned innocence, tilting her head. "Why? It’s public news. I figured you’d want to know how well your ex-husband is doing. After all, it hasn’t even been two months, and he’s already moved on. You must be so happy for him."
A dangerous silence followed.
Olivia’s lips curled into a bitter smirk. "Oh, please. If I were you, I’d focus on my own pathetic life instead of gossiping about mine. At least I’ve actually achieved something. What do you have to show for yourself, Ivy?" She gestured vaguely at her. "Nothing. No career, no status, no accomplishments—just a mouth that runs faster than your brain."
Ivy’s smirk didn’t falter. If anything, it widened.
"Well, at least my reputation is intact," she shot back smoothly, eyes gleaming with triumph. "Unlike someone who’s completely ruined herself."
Unlike before, where Olivia would have simply stood up and left out of anger to avoid engaging further, she stayed.
She refused to walk away this time. Ivy had annoyed her, and she wasn’t about to let her win. And this was her father’s house as a matter of fact. If there was anyone who was supposed to leave the dining table, then it was Ivy.
Olivia’s nails dug into her palm under the table, but her voice remained eerily calm.
"Mind your tongue, Ivy," Olivia warned in a low, dangerous tone. "You’re living in my father’s house. If you have no manners, I suggest you go back to your father’s house where you belong. But if you must remain under my roof, then you must accord me some respect."
That struck a nerve.
Ivy’s smirk wavered for just a second before her expression darkened.
Before she could fire back, a sharp slap! echoed through the room.
Stephanie had slammed her palm against the table, her piercing gaze silencing both of them instantly.
"That’s enough," she ordered coolly, her voice carrying an air of authority that neither of them dared to challenge. "Not another word."
The tension between Olivia and Ivy remained thick, but neither spoke again.
Instead, they returned to their food, though every bite was laced with resentment.
Olivia was the first to finish. She wiped her lips delicately with a napkin, stood up, and without sparing Ivy another glance, uttered a polite, "Enjoy your meal," before turning on her heel and walking away.
Only when Olivia was out of sight did Stephanie turn her full attention to Ivy.
Her expression was unreadable, but the sharpness in her gaze left no room for argument.
"Ivy," Stephanie said slowly, her tone carrying a quiet warning, "don’t ever speak to Olivia like that again."
Ivy blinked, feigning innocence once more. "I was just stating facts—"
Stephanie’s gaze hardened. "I don’t care. If you ever go against me again, I will punish you. Do you understand?"
Ivy’s lips pressed together, but she reluctantly muttered, "Yes."
Stephanie studied her for a moment longer before leaning back into her chair. The room remained silent until she finally changed the subject.
"Now," she said, glancing between Ivy and Damien, "after your tour of Vintage Cellar’s winery the other time, have you given any thought to working there?"
Damien, who had been silent throughout the breakfast drama, set down his juice and nodded. "I have. I’d like to work at Vintage Cellar. It would be good for experience."
Stephanie nodded approvingly before shifting her gaze to Ivy. "And you?"
Ivy took a sip of her coffee, then smiled sweetly. "I’d like to work at Vintage Cellar too."
But only she knew her true reason.
She wasn’t joining the company to build a career. She was joining to make Olivia’s life miserable.
Stephanie smiled, seemingly satisfied with their answers. "Good. I’ll have your employment letters ready soon."
Damien gave a small nod while Ivy suppressed a smirk.
Olivia had no idea what was coming.
Chapter 307: Abigail Visits Aurora at Vintage Cellar
At the other end of the city...
The aroma of freshly baked pastries filled the cozy air of the upscale confectionery store as Abigail and her mother, Evelyn Miller, sat at a small, elegantly decorated table near the window.
Through the glass, the bustling city streets of Wing City unfolded before them, but Abigail’s focus was firmly on the cup of coffee she stirred absentmindedly.
Her mother, on the other hand, was watching her with a knowing expression.
"So, tell me," Evelyn started, cutting into her slice of cheesecake, "are you dating anyone?"
Abigail didn’t even flinch. She had expected this question—her mother never failed to bring it up whenever they had a quiet moment together. With a sigh, she took a sip of her coffee before replying flatly, "No."
Evelyn frowned slightly. "And why is that?"
"Because I don’t have the time," Abigail said matter-of-factly.
Her mother let out a small sigh, setting down her fork. "Abby, life isn’t just about work. You need to make time for love, for companionship. Marriage isn’t just about romance—it’s about having a partner to share your wins, your struggles, your space."
Abigail smirked. "You make it sound like a business deal."
"In a way, it is," Evelyn countered, folding her hands on the table. "A good marriage is about stability and having someone to stand by your side through everything. And children... they may seem like a burden at first, but at old age, they become your greatest blessing."
Abigail chuckled dryly, shaking her head. "Well, don’t put your trust in me. I might never marry. And if I ever feel like having children, I could just adopt."
Evelyn’s expression darkened slightly. "Adopt?" she echoed in disbelief. "Abigail, it’s not just about having children—it’s about having your own flesh and blood, someone who carries your legacy."
Abigail exhaled sharply. "Mom, not everyone finds happiness in the same way. I love my life the way it is. And if I ever do decide to have kids, does it really matter how they come into my life?"
Evelyn sighed, shaking her head in disapproval. "One day, you’ll understand. A time will come when you want a family of your own, to share your highs and lows with. And by then, I hope it’s not too late."
Abigail remained silent, offering her mother a small, amused smile but choosing not to argue further. Instead, she flagged down a staff member. "I’ll take a box of assorted pastries to go," she said. "Croissants, cake slices, macarons, and some canelés."
The staff nodded and hurried off, leaving Evelyn to study her daughter with a mixture of fondness and mild frustration.
"You’re avoiding the conversation," Evelyn pointed out.
"I’m smart, aren’t I?" Abigail replied cheekily.
Her mother sighed again but let it go because Abigail would always win in matters like this.
---
After leaving the confectionery store, Abigail made her way straight to Vintage Cellar. The towering glass building stood proudly in the heart of the business district, exuding power and prestige.
She entered through the grand revolving doors and immediately pulled out her phone to text Aurora.
Abigail: I’m at the front desk of your company.
Aurora’s response was instant.
Aurora: Huh?
Then, after a brief pause—
Aurora: Wait there. I’ll call them to let you through.
A few moments later, one of the front desk staff approached her with a polite smile. "Miss Miller, please follow me."
Abigail nodded with a small smile and was led through the sleek hallways until they reached Aurora’s office.
The moment Abigail stepped inside, Aurora greeted her with a warm smile. "You? Here? I’m surprised."
"Good surprises are rare," Abigail teased, giving Aurora a half-hug from the side—thanks to Aurora’s growing baby bump blocking a full embrace.
Aurora chuckled and led them to the sitting area.
As they sat down, Abigail looked around, taking in the elegant yet professional décor. "Not bad. Your office is impressive," she noted as she set the box of pastries down on the table.
Aurora grinned. "Glad you approve. But what brings you here?"
Abigail gestured toward the box. "I was at a confectionery store a few blocks away with my mom and decided to drop by with some pastries. Thought you might like them."
Aurora’s smile widened as she opened the box. "Oh, you know me too well." Without hesitation, she plucked a pink macaron and took a bite. A soft hum of approval escaped her lips. "This is good."
Abigail watched her, satisfied. "Eat them one at a time, though. Too much sugar isn’t good for you or the baby."
Aurora gave her a mock glare. "Yes, Mom."
They shared a laugh before Aurora tilted her head in curiosity. "Since when do you have time to go to confectionery stores? I thought you were always busy."
Abigail stretched lazily. "I cleared my entire schedule for December. Needed a break." Then, she scoffed. "Not that my mother cares—she spent our time together lecturing me about marriage and children."
Aurora leaned back with a knowing smile. "She’s right, though."
Abigail placed a hand on her chest in mock betrayal. "Et tu, Aurora?"
Aurora laughed. "She just wants the best for you."
Abigail rolled her eyes but smiled. Then, her expression turned mischievous. "So, any plans for Christmas?"
Aurora nodded. "Scott family’s yearly Christmas vacation."
Abigail’s smirk deepened. "So that means Owen and his new wife will be there too, huh?"
Aurora sighed. "Most likely."
Abigail clicked her tongue. "Tea Time’s latest article was wild. I still can’t believe how smart Owen was—getting his mistress pregnant while still married, then conveniently divorcing Olivia and marrying her right after. Talk about efficiency."
Aurora shook her head. "I was shocked by how fast it happened, but honestly? I’m not surprised. Owen is bound to be Owen. And Olivia was bound to get a taste of her own medicine sooner or later."
Abigail exhaled. "Yeah, but Owen is still the main villain here. I pity Olivia a little—just a little. But honestly, if she doesn’t learn from all this and repent, then there’s no hope left for her."
Aurora smirked. "You really think Olivia will learn?" Even, she didn’t think that was possible. She could tell from their recent interactions since she returned to work in the company.
Abigail leaned forward. "Absolutely not. People like Olivia don’t rest until they’ve had their revenge."
Aurora shrugged. "Well, whatever she does is none of my business. I’m not interfering or telling her what to do."
Abigail nodded in agreement. Then, after a moment of thought, she asked, "Did you attend Owen’s wedding?"
Aurora let out a short laugh. "No. Xander and I went to the beach instead."
Abigail grinned. "Smart choice. I guess it was Xander’s idea."
Aurora simply nodded and reached for another pastry. She had already forgotten the reminder Abigail gave her concerning her sugar levels.
"Well," Abigail said, standing up and stretching. "I should head out. But enjoy the pastries, and don’t forget—one a day."
Aurora chuckled after being caught in the act. "Yes, Mom."
As Abigail walked to the door, she paused. "And let me know if Olivia explodes when she sees Owen and his new wife anywhere. I want to hear all the tea."
Aurora smirked. "I’ll keep you updated."
And with that, Abigail gave her an approving nod before leaving with a satisfactory smirk stretched across her lips.
Chapter 308: The Petty and Stingy Aurora
Scott Family’s Main Residence.
The soft glow of the bedside lamp cast a warm hue over the elegantly furnished bedroom. Juliet stood by the window, arms crossed as she observed the space that, despite her presence, still carried faint traces of Olivia.
She sighed. She didn’t want to share a room with a ghost from the past.
Owen, already lounging on the bed in a black silk robe, watched her with mild amusement. "What’s on your mind?" he asked, setting his phone aside.
Juliet turned to face him, biting her lip before she spoke. "I want to change a few things in here," she admitted. "I don’t want any memory of Olivia lingering around."
Owen’s lips twitched into a small smile as he pushed himself up, walking over to her. Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. "Then make a list," he murmured against her hair. "I’ll have the butler take care of everything."
Juliet’s face lit up. She snuggled into his chest, inhaling his familiar scent. "Thank you," she whispered, pressing a kiss to his jaw.
A comfortable silence passed between them before she pulled back slightly, a playful glint in her eyes. "Actually... I’ve changed my mind."
Owen arched a brow. "Oh?"
Juliet nodded firmly. "I don’t just want to change a few things. I want to change everything—the furniture, the lights, the painting—everything." She gestured around the room with a determined look. "I want this space to reflect us, not the past."
Owen frowned slightly at first, but before he could say anything, Juliet continued, her voice softer now. "I just want a fresh start. A bedroom that signifies the beginning of our marriage, not a place tainted by someone else’s presence."
Owen’s expression shifted as he studied her. Then, slowly, a smile spread across his lips. "Alright," he agreed, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "We’ll start fresh. I’ll let the butler know so the work can begin while we’re away for the family vacation."
Juliet beamed, rising on her toes to kiss him. "You’re the best."
Owen smirked, tightening his grip around her waist. "I know."
A moment later, Juliet pulled away with a satisfied sigh and headed towards the bathroom, disappearing behind the door.
As soon as she was gone, Owen grabbed his phone from the nightstand and scrolled through his gallery. His finger hovered over a few wedding photos before selecting one—Juliet in her white dress, standing beside him with a demure smile.
He smirked as he typed out the caption:
"My very supportive and submissive wife and I."
With a final glance at the photo, he hit post.
Then, setting his phone aside, he leaned back against the headboard, completely ready of the online storm that was about to follow.
His immediate target was Olivia because even though he had blocked her all-round, he was sure the blog pages would carry his post and in the end it would get to her.
He wanted nothing more than to enjoy the thrill it would bring him to know that Olivia was basking in misery at his second marriage.
---
Xander’s Private Residence.
The front doors swung open, and Xander stepped inside, his black jacket draped over his arm. His sharp eyes scanned the grand foyer as he handed the jacket to the butler.
"Where’s my wife?" he asked without missing a beat.
The butler gave a polite nod. "Ma’am is in the living room, sir."
Xander didn’t waste a second. He strode toward the living room with purposeful steps, a small smirk already tugging at his lips.
As he entered, the sight before him was nothing short of amusing—Aurora, curled up on the two-seater couch, a contented smile on her lips as she delicately nibbled on a macaron. A box of pastries sat open on the coffee table, half its contents already missing.
Xander leaned against the doorway, arms crossed. "Sweetheart," he greeted, his voice rich with warmth. "You seem to be enjoying yourself."
Aurora’s face lit up at the sound of his voice. Without hesitation, she stretched her hand out to him, offering a green macaron. "Take a bite."
A slow smile formed on Xander’s lips as he walked over. Instead of taking the macaron immediately, he bent down and pressed a lingering kiss to her forehead. Only then did he take a bite out of the pastry she held, chewing thoughtfully before nodding in satisfaction.
"Not bad," he admitted as he sank onto the couch beside her. "Does the kitchen still have some of this?"
Aurora chuckled. "The kitchen didn’t make these," she revealed, sensing his interest. "Abigail brought them when she stopped by my office earlier."
Xander nodded in understanding. "She’s a good friend," he said, but his gaze drifted back to the nearly empty pastry box.
Aurora noticed, barely holding back her laughter.
Then, as if coming to a realization, Xander met her gaze and pointed at the box. "You’re not supposed to eat that much in one sitting," he said matter-of-factly.
Aurora tapped her chin, pretending to think. "Hmm... you might be right." Then, with the most innocent expression, she added, "I’ll refrigerate the rest and eat them later."
Xander’s lips twitched. He reached out, gently cupping her cheeks in his warm hands. "So you can’t even share with your husband?" he asked, feigning disappointment.
Aurora shook her head with conviction. "Not this particular one."
Xander narrowed his eyes, studying her intently before letting go. He leaned back against the couch and folded his arms. "When did you become so petty and stingy?"
Aurora smirked and pointed at her baby bump. "Since you planted your seed inside me."
Xander stared at her for a moment before shaking his head. But then—he couldn’t hold it in anymore. A deep, rich laugh erupted from his chest as he threw his head back in amusement.
Aurora, smugly enjoying her victory, simply popped another macaron into her mouth.
When his laughter died down, Xander straightened and looked at her squarely. "I can’t wait for you to give birth so I can see if you will still be such a drama queen."
Aurora shrugged, completely unbothered. "Don’t get your hopes up. You might be disappointed."
Xander smirked. "We will see about that."
Chapter 309: DANTE Group’s 40th Anniversary
Chapter THREE HUNDRED & NINE: Dante Group’s 40th Anniversary
Swift Family Residence.
A few days later...
The living room of the Swift residence was filled with an air of excitement as Ivy and Damien sat comfortably on the plush sofa, already dressed for the grand event. Dante Group’s 40th Anniversary.
Ivy, clad in a stylish off-shoulder emerald gown that hugged her curves in all the right places, admired her reflection in the large decorative mirror across the room. Her long, auburn hair cascaded in soft waves, and her makeup was flawlessly applied.
Damien, on the other hand, looked effortlessly sharp in his tailored black tuxedo, scrolling through his phone as he waited.
Soon, the soft sound of heels clicking against the marble floor caught their attention.
Their mother had arrived.
Stephanie stepped into the living room, dressed in an exquisite navy-blue evening gown with silver embellishments. Her posture was regal, her expression poised. She looked at her children approvingly, a small, satisfied smile playing on her lips.
"You both look wonderful," she said, smoothing a hand over the fabric of her dress. "Let’s go."
But just as she turned toward the door, another set of heels echoed from the staircase.
Olivia.
She descended gracefully, dressed in a deep red satin gown that clung to her figure. Her dark curls were styled to perfection, cascading over her bare shoulders, and her bold red lipstick matched the sharp glint in her eyes. A dazzling diamond necklace rested against her collarbone, gleaming under the soft glow of the chandelier.
Stephanie turned at the sound, her expression unreadable as she took in Olivia’s appearance.
"Where are you going?" she asked calmly, though there was a knowing edge to her voice.
Olivia blinked, momentarily thrown off. "What do you mean? I’m attending the anniversary, of course."
Stephanie let out a soft sigh, shaking her head. "I’m sorry to disappoint you, Olivia, but you’re not going to that event with us."
Olivia’s brows furrowed. "Excuse me?"
"I don’t trust you to keep your emotions in check," Stephanie stated coolly. "Your ex-husband, Owen, and his new wife will be in attendance. Given everything that has happened, I won’t risk a scene."
Olivia’s jaw tightened, anger flashing in her eyes. "That’s unfair!" she hissed. "How could you take your children and leave me behind? I should be the one going, not them! Also, who said I can’t keep my emotions in check?"
Stephanie simply smiled, the picture of elegance and control. "You’re free to attend, Olivia," she said smoothly. "But only if you have your own personal invitation. You won’t be entering with me."
Olivia’s nostrils flared. "You—"
"And, might I remind you that your mother’s final trial was postponed until Monday. Even if you aren’t filial, you shouldn’t be seen tonight," Stephanie finished and turned to Ivy and Damien, not bothering to entertain Olivia’s fury. "Let’s go."
Ivy, unable to resist, flashed Olivia a taunting smile as she gracefully linked her arm with her mother’s.
Olivia’s fists clenched at her sides as she watched them walk away, rage bubbling beneath her skin.
She had never felt more insulted.
---
DANTE GROUP’S 40TH ANNIVERSARY – GRAND BALLROOM.
The prestigious event was held in one of the most luxurious venues in Wing City—a grand ballroom adorned with sparkling chandeliers, towering floral arrangements, and tables covered in fine linen.
Dignitaries, elite businessmen, celebrities, and high-profile figures filled the vast room, their laughter and conversations blending into the elegant hum of the evening.
Even the President of Wing City was in attendance, alongside key government officials.
News reporters and photographers from the top three media companies hovered in the background, eager to capture every moment of the night.
At the beginning of the event, the lights dimmed slightly, and the large LED screens displayed the Dante Group emblem as a familiar figure walked onto the grand stage.
Xander Scott.
Dressed in a perfectly tailored black tuxedo, he exuded power and confidence as he approached the podium.
The room fell silent as the CEO of Dante Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors prepared to speak.
With a charming yet authoritative smile, Xander adjusted the microphone and began.
"Ladies and gentlemen," he greeted smoothly. "It is an honor to stand before you tonight as we celebrate Dante Group’s 40th anniversary."
A round of applause echoed through the room.
"First and foremost, I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to be here. Your presence means a great deal to us."
His sharp gaze scanned the room before he continued.
"I’d like to thank my predecessors, my parents personally, for their unwavering support and guidance throughout my journey in this company."
The cameras zoomed in on Xander’s parents, who sat at a distinguished table among other VIPs.
"And of course," Xander’s voice softened slightly, "I want to thank my wife for being my greatest pillar of support and understanding."
At that moment, the camera panned to Aurora.
Dressed in an elegant champagne-colored gown, her soft curls pinned to the side, she sat gracefully beside Xander’s parents.
But it wasn’t just her beauty that caught people’s attention—it was the small yet unmistakable baby bump that rested beneath her dress.
Gasps rippled through the audience, whispers quickly following.
Many had not seen Aurora in public, in a while, and this was their first time realizing that she was pregnant.
Meanwhile, at another table, Ivy watched the scene unfold with great interest.
She leaned slightly toward her mother. "Wait, is that the famous Mr. Scott Aurora married?" she whispered in disbelief.
Stephanie nodded without looking away from the stage. "Yes."
Ivy’s lips parted in realization. "Wow," she murmured. "I can’t believe Xander—one of the most powerful men in the business world—is Olivia’s ex-husband’s uncle."
Stephanie hummed. "The Scott family is full of surprises."
Curious, Ivy shifted in her seat. "So, where’s Owen?"
Stephanie subtly gestured toward another table.
Ivy followed her gaze and finally spotted him.
Owen sat at a different VIP table, looking as sharp as ever in a sleek tuxedo. His expression was calm and composed as he engaged in conversation with those around him.
Beside him, his new wife, Juliet, sat with her hands delicately folded on her lap, her baby bump very visible beneath her fitted gown.
Ivy arched a brow.
"So, that’s the guy Olivia lost her mind over?" she mused. "I mean, I get it now. He’s handsome, and he comes from the Scott family. No wonder she snatched him from Aurora."
Stephanie shot her daughter a look. "Shush."
Ivy smirked, but she obeyed.
The event continued seamlessly, filled with elegant performances, fine dining, and more speeches from prominent figures.
But for some guests, the real entertainment wasn’t the event itself—it was the drama quietly brewing beneath the surface.
And it was only a matter of time before it exploded.
Chapter 310: Olivia’s Furious Wish
Wing City’s Most Prestigious Event of the Year: Dante Group’s 40th Anniversary – A Night of Power, Wealth, and... Drama?
Good evening, Tea Timers! You already know we’re here to spill the hottest and steamiest tea from last night’s Dante Group’s 40th Anniversary Gala—an event so exclusive that just breathing the same air as the guests was a privilege.
This was not just any corporate celebration; it was a parade of power, wealth, and status. From industry moguls to top government officials (yes, even the President of Wing City graced the occasion), this event was the place to be!
But you know we weren’t watching for the business speeches—we were watching for the drama, the unexpected appearances, and the juicy social dynamics. And oh, did the night deliver!
First and Foremost—Aurora Scott, The Belle of the Ball (And A Mommy-to-Be?)
Let’s start with the moment that had everyone’s jaws dropping. Just as Alexander Scott, the dashing CEO of Dante Group, stood on stage giving his speech, the cameras panned to his wife, Aurora Scott—and what did we see?
A BABY BUMP.
Yes, you read that right! The stunning Mrs. Scott was glowing, and we mean GLOWING, as she sat gracefully beside her in-laws. The Scott family is expanding, and we at Tea Time would like to extend a huge congratulations to Aurora on her pregnancy!
The guests at the event? Shocked. The viewers watching the live media coverage? Shook.
And of course, this brings us to an interesting question—did Owen Scott feel anything upon seeing his ex-girlfriend carrying his uncle’s child? Now that’s something to think about!
Owen Scott’s First Public Appearance with His New Wife
Now, moving on to the unexpected but undeniably messy part of the night—Owen Scott’s first official public appearance with his new wife, Juliet Scott!
We know what you’re thinking: "Already?" Yes, already. It’s only been weeks since his divorce from Olivia Swift, and yet here he was, attending one of the city’s biggest events with his pregnant new bride.
Owen, ever the gentleman, sat beside Juliet, occasionally whispering into her ear and resting his hand protectively on her baby bump. They looked every bit the happy couple, as if the entire city didn’t just witness one of the messiest divorces in high-society history.
And Juliet? She was serving elegance and poise, completely unbothered by the whispers. It’s almost as if... she knew this moment was coming.
But that leads us to the next question.
Where Was Olivia Swift?
We searched high and low, zoomed in on every VIP table, and scoured through every guest list entry... but one name was conspicuously missing.
Olivia Swift.
That’s right, folks—Olivia was nowhere to be found at Dante Group’s anniversary gala.
Now, we don’t like to jump to conclusions (okay, maybe we do a little), but let’s be honest—Olivia not attending the event? That speaks volumes.
Could it be that the ever-fearless Olivia Swift, the woman who once thought she ruled Wing City’s elite, couldn’t bear to see her ex-husband publicly flaunting the woman he cheated on her with?
Is Olivia mentally weak? Did she choose not to attend because she simply couldn’t handle the sight of Owen and Juliet together?
The Olivia Swift we once knew would have walked into that ballroom with her head held high. But this Olivia? Silent. Missing. Unseen.
It seems that for once in her life, Olivia chose to avoid drama—or perhaps, the drama finally became too much for her.
One Last Tea Spill: Stella Swift’s Final Trial Is Approaching
Before we wrap up this juicy update, let’s not forget one very important detail—Stella Swift’s final trial has been postponed but is set to take place before Christmas.
For those of you who have been keeping up with Wing City’s biggest scandals, you’ll know that this trial could change everything. If found guilty, Olivia’s mother—once one of the most feared women in high society—could be spending a very long time behind bars.
And if that happens... well, let’s just say Olivia’s fall from grace will be officially complete.
---
Tea Time’s Comment Section Is On Fire!
Now, let’s hear what the Tea Timers have to say!
@AuroraLover22: OMG! Aurora is pregnant?! That’s such great news! Congratulations, Queen!
@TheRealTea: LMAO, I can’t believe Olivia didn’t show up! She knew she’d lose her mind seeing Owen and Juliet together!
@TooMuchDrama: So Owen really went from husband #1 to husband #2 in weeks and acted like nothing happened?? Men are something else.
@KarmaStrikesBack: Olivia built her entire reputation on ruining other women’s lives, and now she’s the one ruined. Poetic justice.
@IWantMess: Tbh, I was kinda hoping Olivia would pull up and make a scene. Like, at least throw a drink or something. This is disappointing.
@AnonymousThoughts: Does anyone know how Olivia must be feeling after Owen’s first public appearance with his new wife?? Because I need to know.
@JusticeForStella: Y’all focusing on the wrong thing. We need updates on Stella’s trial! If she goes down, Olivia is done for.
@OliviaComeBack: Say what you want, but Wing City is boring without Olivia’s drama. I miss the old her.
--
Final Thoughts
Well, Tea Timers, that’s all for today! Last night’s Dante Group 40th Anniversary was a spectacle, and while the event itself was all about business and prestige, the real drama happened in the shadows.
Aurora is glowing with pregnancy. Owen has officially moved on. Olivia is... MIA.
What’s next for Wing City’s most controversial figures? Only time will tell.
Until then, keep sipping your tea.
~Tea Time Gossip Blog.
---
"And I hope that tea burns on your tongue!" Olivia spat with fire literally blazing from her eyes.
She was made to sit out on DANTE Group’s event last night without a choice, yet, Tea Time Gossip blog still found a way to tackle her because of her absence.
At the other end, Abigail read the gossip article and let out a deep sigh before shifting her gaze to her mother.
"Mum, did you find any suspicious person at DANTE Group’s event last night?"
Evelyn frowned subtly. "Why would there be a suspicious guest at such a high-profile event? And why are you asking? Why the sudden interest?"
"I think that whoever is behind Tea Time Gossip blog, was at the event last night," Abigail concluded.
Evelyn almost rolled her eyes, completely disinterested after hearing about the gossip blog. But she did have her own takes.
"You shouldn’t also forget that most of these bloggers do receive information and pieces of evidence from sources."
"That is to say they might also have people working for them?" Abigail inquired.
"Isn’t it obvious?" Evelyn asked. Then without waiting for her daughter’s response, she asked, "So, have you given dating another chance?"
Almost immediately the conversation turned to her, Abigail carried her bowl of soy milk drink and got up from her seat.
"Good night, Mum," she said before quickly finding her way out.
