Ch. 81..85: Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire Chapter 81-85
Chapter 81: Don’t Try To Fool Us
Kylie got out of the taxi, once she arrived at the film base. The first thing she saw was a bunch of William Woolf’s fans waiting outside. They looked at her when they heard the sound of the cab door slamming shut.
Even though she wasn’t wearing any makeup, they recognized the woman as Kylie Finch. They surrounded her within a few seconds.
“It’s Kylie Finch! That bitch!”
“You shameless bitch! Get away from my William!”
“Did you just have intimacy with another man? You should get the fuck out of the industry!”
There was no sign of any guards. She had to figure out how to enter the building by herself.
The actors and actresses, standing at a distance, didn’t try to help her out since they were enjoying the spectacle.
Their eyes were like sharp knives, killing her bit by bit.
Suddenly, Kylie remembered times when many famous actors and actresses had left the industry.
They couldn’t stand virtual violence.
She knew that people’s words could eat someone alive. That kind of suffering had happened before. And it has gotten significantly worse in the Internet age. Everyone in the entertainment industry was suffering, at one time or another.
A fan, who was holding a sign with William Woolf’s face on it, threw it at her when she saw Kylie approaching.
But the fan overestimated her own strength. The sign went soaring past Kylie and straight towards Miss Cotty’s head.”
Kylie saw what was about to happen, and ran towards Miss Cotty as quickly as she could, blocking the prop designer’s body with her own.
The sign directly hit Kylie on the back.
Kylie was wearing jean overalls, and the sign hooked her. It scratched her arm; a good amount of blood came pouring out.
Everybody was silent, and it even took Miss Cotty a long time to realize what had happened.
Kylie frowned and looked at William’s fans without emotion. “You can hate me. But don’t hurt anybody else.”
“You…you hit me, so my sign went the wrong way,” the girl immediately denied.
“Don’t try to fool us.”
“Yeah, you think you can fool us? Bitch.”
She sneered glaring. “No matter if I am an actress or just a bitch, a video can’t tell the whole story. You call yourselves real fans of William Woolf? Would you still love him if he was the villain? Don’t let yourselves be used by others as pawns. You will be your idol’s burden.”
But Kylie knew that they would never listen to her.
The only person who could convince them of anything was their idol, William Woolf.
William Woolf had been in this industry for about twenty years. No one could doubt his hard work and dedication.
He never needed to promote any of his television shows or films. He spent a lot of his money on family and charities. He had never been involved in a scandal involving a woman. Some even thought that he was gay.
He let everyone believe that he was dedicated to his relationship. He had announced in his show that his mother liked the girl he had brought home very much. He would inform the public of whom he was dating, at the right time.
“We don’t need you to tell us what kind of person William is!” The girl who had thrown the sign was very aggressive. Everyone else followed her lead.
“Actually, she’s right…My William is not that kind of man.”
“He would never choose a woman like Kylie Finch!”
The girl who had thrown the sign saw that the topic was going in the wrong direction, so she stepped forward. “The video is absolutely real. I saw her grab William’s hands.”
“This…”
Kylie looked at her and knew what was happening.
She smiled at that girl. “Since you are such a big fan of William Woolf, tell me, when did he enter the entertainment industry and what movies has he been in? What is he busy with other than his own show?”
After Kylie asked those questions, the girl looked uncomfortable.
She looked around, and everyone else stared at her like the questions were the simplest things in the world.
But the girl’s heart started wildly bouncing.
After hesitating for a while, she clenched her fists in anxiety. “Your questions are so easy. You are insulting me!”
The other girls began talking again:
“Yeah. Of course, everyone knows when he entered the industry.”
“Yeah, I remember when he played the role of an emperor. He was so handsome and dedicated.”
“Yeah, he was once a guest on The Impossible Challenge, and he was incredible. When I saw that girl set him up, I was heart-broken…”
The fans surrounding Kylie talked to each other and seemed to have forgotten the purpose of her visit.
The girl who had thrown the sign looked at Kylie with some smugness. She said: “Don’t think that we’ll forgive you just because you’ve changed the subject. You ruined my Oppa’s reputation.”
After she had said those words, a nearby fan suddenly looked at the girl incredulously.
“Did you say ‘Oppa’?”
The discussion instantly stopped, and everyone’s eyes fell on the girl who had thrown the sign.
She looked at them blankly, not knowing what she had done. So they continued to give her a weird look. “Yes…” she replied, unsure.
“You are definitely not his fan.”
“Who are you? Why are you posing as his fan?”
“William doesn’t like anyone to call him ‘Oppa’-you don’t know that?”
A group of people besieged the girl, and she could no longer conceal her own nervousness. “I, I became his fan just now, I don’t know everything…”
The scene was chaotic again; war seemed to begin between fans and fans.
The security personnel arrived right in time. Kylie whispered something to the security guards, then strode into the studio.
After the chaos had stopped, a fan said: “I just heard Kylie tell a security guard not to call the police or hurt us. I don’t think she is particularly bad.”
“I think that the figure in the video looked a bit like her, but the skin tone was definitely different. Maybe we were wrong?”
“We caused all this trouble for her without any proof. We overdid it.”
“Who called us here?”
“I don’t know somebody in the fan group. I just followed.”
“Me too. Maybe Kylie was right, and we are being used?”
The girl who had thrown the sign slipped out of the crowd and called someone: “I didn’t expect Kylie to be so smart. I failed…”
Chapter 82: He Is Smarter Than You
Julian saw Kylie approaching, and he hurriedly called her over to the lounge. “Kylie, sit down here, please.”
“Director Johnson, I’ m sorry for all the trouble…” Kylie apologized sincerely, looking ashamed.
When seeing her gaunt face, Julian’s heart ached. “Don’t be disturbed by the mess, and the entertainment industry is not always peaceful. You are trustworthy. Your portrayal of this character is by far the best I have seen.”
“Thank you for your affirmation.” Kylie highly appreciated that Julian was willing to support her at this time.
“However, this time, public opinion is very important. You look tired. You must not have slept well last night. Would you like to go home and sleep off your mood? When this is over, you can start to work again?” Julian suggested.
Kylie quickly waved her hand. “I’m fine, director. I have new scenes. If I stop working, it will affect me even more. When the time comes, you won’t be able to say that the investor is not satisfied.”
Since she was very considerate about the situation, Julian nodded with satisfaction and said: “OK, You can start your work. But if it gets to be too much, you must take a vacation.”
After the director left, Kylie headed to the bathroom to fix up her makeup.
She had been wearing heavy, gaunt makeup. But after such a long time, it would be sure to be looking off. But as she walked towards the washroom door, someone pulled her into the men’s washroom.
“How did you become like this?” someone said, sounding worried. They tried to touch her face, but the hand was slapped away.
“Are you trying to ruin me, pulling me like this into the men’s washroom?” Kylie turned and tried to leave, but she was pulled back again.
“Did I hurt you?”
“Never mind.” Kylie rubbed her arm. It was scratched, but not bleeding.
William was anxious. “I wanted to clarify, but John stopped me. He was worried that I was being asked questions about the black girl. It would cause even more trouble if somebody found out that you’re the girl in the video.”
Kylie punched him hard in the chest. “He is smarter than you.”
With a pained look on his face, William said: “If you hadn’t agreed, I would have announced our relationship.”
Kylie glanced at him. “Just go ahead, if you’re not afraid of your uncle.”
“You…” William looked heartbroken.
Kylie simply put on her makeup in the men’s washroom. And before she left, she turned to William and said: “By the way, no matter what you see later on-don’t worry about it and leave me alone, do you understand?”
“Leave you alone? Do you think that I can watch you flirting with other men without doing anything? I am the most handsome man in the crew. Please flirt with me; don’t flirt and hurt others.”
“Get out of my face.”
That was the start of a really bad day.
There were even a few scenes that Kylie had to shoot with Lily.
Kylie had been off to the side, learning her lines, when she had heard an arrogant and squeaky voice behind her.
It was Lily, speaking, with a gloating expression on her face. “Oh, it’s you. You are now the most famous internet celebrity… You really have no shame.”
If Kylie got into any arguments on set, the director would definitely ask her to leave. She had no other choice but to look towards William, in an escape from Lily’s glare.
Kylie crumpled the script in her hand and closed her lips. She looked embarrassed and lonely.
Upon seeing her expression, Lily became even more proud. She put her hands on her hips and walked towards William. “Mr. Woolf, you’d better not appear on TV with her. She might disgrace you. Your fan group argued a lot about it yesterday.”
As soon as she approached, his vicinity was taken over by the pungent smell of her perfume. William frowned, turning his face. He wanted her to leave, but when he saw that Kylie was watching, he decided to tolerate Lily.
Lily noticed that he wasn’t in a good mood, and she assumed that he was upset because of the Instagram video. So, she became even more considerate and walked forwards.
“Mr. Woolf, I know that you are stressed about this, but you don’t have to worry about it… Kylie will quit the show when she can no longer handle the pressures of public opinion.”
“Be Quiet.” William couldn’t bear it, but he continued to subdue his temper. “I’m learning my lines.”
“I’m sorry. I’ll leave you alone.” Lily was somewhat embarrassed.
But no matter what, she told herself, she was the best newcomer actress of the year. Still, when she actively tried to talk with him, he continued to look cold and indifferent.
However, she quickly comforted herself. When Kylie left the crew, she would ask her sugar daddy for some additional investments, which could help her more scenes with William.
At the thought of shooting a scene with William, of them being face to face, looking closely into each others’ eyes, Lily’s heart began to beat fast.
What the hell?! Kylie had a bad reputation, so why was the director still allowing her to continue with her work?
If Kylie continued to be in the picture, they might not be able to broadcast it yet. It was a waste of time and money.
Still, Lily loved today’s rivalry scenes.
There was a scene in which she had to push Kylie down from a horse, at which point she deliberately used her strength… Since Kylie refused to take the initiative to leave the crew, Lily had to help her out.
“Director, I think in this scene, it will be more realistic to push her down, what do you say?” Lily, who never appeared behind the scenes, this time chose to stand directly behind Julian.
Julian has seen so many disputes between actors. He said, with a gloomy face: “Just shake her clothes a little.”
“Got it,” Lily said, all the while making up her mind to push Kylie down from the horse, in order to teach her a lesson.
Anyway, she was good at doing this kind of evil thing without too many people realizing her intentions. Once, she had hidden a needle inside the sole of an actress’s shoe, who resultantly suffered for a whole day of acting.
Chapter 83: Are You Kidding Me?
That evening, the foot had festered.
Once everyone was ready, they started shooting.
Today’s scenes involved Becky, who had quarreled with Sam, escaping from the cottage, and meeting up with her elder sister, Angela, on the way. Angela was envious of Becky, for having Sam’s love. As a result, Angela mocked her.
“Oh, you dare to escape from me! What are you afraid of?” Angela said, reaching out to get a hold of Becky, who was riding nearby on her horse.
Just as Lily reached out, Kylie narrowed her eyes expectantly and leaned over to one side.
In the camera’s blind spot, Kylie’s leg clamped the horse’s stomach. Lily missed her catch and instantly fell against the horse.
The big white horse made a loud, frightening noise, as its front hooves rose high in the air.
It turned around, in the same place, on its hind legs, almost throwing Kylie from its back.
“Kylie!” Julian was worried. The trainer beside him witnessed the scene and was shocked. He rushed over in alarm.
“Lily, what’s wrong with you? Didn’t you read the lines carefully? You were supposed to shake her clothes gently. But you hit the horse instead?”
Although Julian was a harsh director, he rarely told someone off so openly. But this time, he really just couldn’t stand it.
He never interfered with other people’s personal affairs, but he couldn’t tolerate someone purposely making trouble during filming.
“I…” Lily was also puzzled and scared. She had just used all of her strength, but she still hadn’t expected the horse to react so strongly.
But she continued to make excuses for herself: “I hit the horse by mistake! I’m not the one who scared it like that. It must have been Kylie!”
Unfortunately, Lily already had a bad reputation. Besides, she hadn’t gotten along well with Kylie since her first day on the crew. So now everyone was on Kylie’s side.
With the horse trainer’s help, Kylie finally comforted the horse. She dismounted, and her legs shook uncontrollably. Her face looked full of grievances.
“Director, I’m fine, really. My legs are just weak. I can continue after the break. It’s not Lily’s fault. Maybe the horse is new at this, and insecure. Maybe it scared many people.
She had a sensible and considerate look as she spoke to the Director. Her colleagues, who, at first, had wanted to laugh at her fear, now began to sympathize with her.
William sat in front of the monitor, one hand on his forehand, and the other covering his smile.
This woman was truly a destroyer of flowers, who specialized in destroying a white lotus-like Lily.
Lily gnashed her teeth together when she saw Kylie’s weak lips trembling constantly. “Don’t pretend someone else did it. You must have something hidden on your body that scared the horse. Admit it. You hid needles, or spice, that excites the creature!”
“Lily. Enough.” Julian commanded.
Faith, Lily’s assistant, rushed over to explain: “Lily, please stop. The Director is angry. You really did something wrong…”
Faith has been followed by Lily around for a long time. She knew her very well. In order to entrap different opponents, she has done many nasty things.
Lily turned around and violently pushed Faith to the ground. “What qualifications do you have to tell me what to do? Get out of here. You are fired. Go!”
Faith fell heavily to the ground and injured her arms.
The onlookers couldn’t stand it anymore. They quickly helped Faith get back up. Then they instantly became even more disgusted with Lily.
Even though Kylie had a bad reputation, she had never been rude to anyone. She was very serious and dedicated to her work. Lily, however, was not only cruel towards the people she disliked; she even treated her assistants badly.
Lily realized that everyone was looking at her. She usually made others feel like they were in the wrong. But today, she experienced the opposite. It was uncomfortable.
Her face immediately darkened, and it looked as though she was about to go crazy.
A second before she was about to explode, someone suddenly appeared beside her and pulled down her fist, which was angrily waving at Kylie.
“Lily, I know that you’re dedicated to pursuing Kylie, but don’t be too serious. The people who know you will understand your anger, but as for others, they won’t take your side…”
It was from Khloe. She was trying to comfort Lilly at this difficult time.
There was no scene for Khloe that day, so she didn’t have a reason to be on set. She had come simply because she had wanted to see Kylie embarrass herself. She hadn’t expected this turn of events…
Kylie had easily dismissed the fans that had blocked the door, and now stupid Lily was ruining everything.
She really was a buzzkill.
Seeing that everyone was standing around Kylie, Khloe decided to defend Lily.
When Lily saw Khloe, she was glad to know that she now had a powerful backer. She took Khloe’s hand and began to cry. “Jaz, this little bitch framed me,” she said.
Khloe was afraid that Lily would continue to say such stupid words, and resultantly increase everyone’s disgust for her. So, she hurriedly pulled her to a remote place.
“You are really reckless. I told you to take a wait-and-see approach. Kylie will eventually leave the crew, when she can no longer stand the pressure of public opinion. But what you did just now… You screwed it up. Now, she’ll get sympathy.”
Lily wiped away her tears. “I just wanted to push her from the horse, so that she would be forced to go home and recuperate. Out of sight, out of mind. Who knows how that horse suddenly became so shocked…”
Khloe turned to look at Kylie, who looked very magnanimous while she was being comforted by the Director.
Although Khloe hadn’t seen what had happened, the current situation was obviously not good for Lily.
If they wanted to get back at Kylie, there was only one way. “Lily, listen to me. Go ask if Kylie was injured, and pretend to be concerned for her.”
Lily’s eyes suddenly widened. “Are you kidding me? No way. Khloe, how can you take her side? I didn’t do anything at all!”
Khloe was getting angry with this idiot. “Can’t you see that Kylie is now gaining sympathy? Do you want William to pity her and take her side?”
Chapter 84: What Is She Doing?
Lily’s expression became a bit stiff, but she continued to insist: “I’d rather attend her funeral than even pretend to care about her.”
Khloe was just frightened, thought Lily. What’s the big deal? Sympathizing with Kylie was just a temporary solution. She would just invite the crew over for a party, and everyone would be on her side once again.
Khloe found that talking to Lily was no better than talking to a brick wall. So, she decided just to let it go. She could only pray that no more mistakes would be made.
Kylie would yet be brought to shame. There’s no way she would be able to reverse the trend of public opinion.
If Lord Ethan watched the video on Instagram, then they would surely break up.
There’s no way that he would tolerate proof that his woman was having an affair.
As she thought this over, Khloe beamed with pride.
Meanwhile, Kylie was given a chair in which to rest. She was looking at the ground when she saw a pair of white shoes stop in front of her.
Kylie slowly looked up to discover that Lily’s assistant, Faith, was the one standing in front of her.
“I’m fine. Please tell Lily not to worry.” Kylie’s immediate thought was that Lily must feel too ashamed to go see. So, she must have sent her assistant instead.
But Faith’s eyes turned red after hearing Kylie’s words.
Kylie felt that something must be wrong.
“You…”
Faith walked two steps forwards, then stopped right in front of Kylie. “Kylie, can I be your assistant instead?”
“What are you talking about?” Kylie, tilting her head, suspected that she heard it wrong.
What is she doing?
Is this Mission Impossible? A dark war? Or is Faith a spy?
Actually, Faith had trained many actresses before. She was a famous broker in the entertainment industry. For reasons nobody knew, she had suddenly announced that she would quit, and go abroad to study.
However, when she had returned from being abroad, she quietly decided to work as Lily’s assistant. Nobody knew the reasoning behind this decision.
Perhaps she understood Kylie’s surprised expression. Faith smiled helplessly and said, with a deep breath:
“I have waited a long time to leave her. But I signed a contract saying that she must be the one to terminate the agreement…”
Faith looked at Kylie seriously. “I know that you can’t trust me now. But I’d like to try. Will you consider my proposal, if you think I’m trustworthy?”
Kylie responded, with a smile: “I’m actually in an embarrassing situation right now. This morning I learned that I no longer have an agent.”
Faith also smiled. “You were freed this morning. I was fired this afternoon. Clearly, we’re destined to be together.”
Kylie nodded with a smile. “Man struggles upwards, and water flows downwards. Why would you choose me?”
“Because you are destined to be extraordinary. I have been paying attention to you for a long time. I have confidence in you.”
Kylie suddenly remembered something. “Someone in the crew was always making trouble for me, but there was always Someone else who often, secretly, helped me. It wouldn’t…”
Faith smiled mysteriously but offered no explanation.
The two shook hands.
When Kylie was looking over her script, Faith whispered: “The fans who are outside the door are all there because Khloe told them to.”
“How do you know?” Kylie’s eyes continued to stare at the script. She didn’t want anyone else to see what was going on.
“Because I have another ID mixed in with William’s fan group.”
“How many IDs do you have?”
“A lot… In order to express my loyalty, I want to give you another big gift.”
***
They were done with shooting the horse scene. Julian used the take in which Kylie appears to shock the horse.
The next scene is the one in which Miss Tea prepares for her wedding. Becky and Angela meet at the banquet.
This scene was much more simple.
“Action.”
Red lights were hanging in the garden, and there were pink draperies along the roof. Everywhere was a festive pink; even the trees looked strong and vigorous, even though it was winter.
Lily passed under the arch and saw Kylie sitting at the main table.
Kylie saw her, and her eyes suddenly became cold. There was a bit of arrogance in her tone. “Here, you come.”
Lily quickly swept over and sat in front of Kylie. “Today is a big day. Let’s have a toast.”
As she said this, she picked up the flagon that was on the table.
Lily had been defeated by Kylie just now. How could she give up? So, she had bribed the property manager to let her use the cups before the scene.
One cup was filled with water, whereas the other was filled with hallucinogens.
Now Kylie would be confronted by an embarrassing situation. She would have to pay the price.
Lily pretended to pour out two glasses of wine, and then she picked up the cup without hallucinogens. She smiled and said to Kylie: “Let’s wish our sister a happy marriage.”
“If our elder sister knew that today’s wedding was your idea, I don’t know what would happen.” After that, Kylie clasped her cup and drank its contents.
Lily said coldly: “You can’t frame me! Your man is a thief. If you make a fuss about it, it’ll all be your fault.”
After that, she gulped down the contents of her own cup.
Poof. Immediately after drinking it, Lily spat as much of it out as she could. She looked sharply at the property manager.
Why was her water so bitter?
“Cut.” Julian said, “Again.”
“Here you come.”
“Today is a big day. Let’s have a toast.”
Lily’s hands were a little shaky. She poured herself a glass of water. “Let’s wish our sister a happy marriage.”
“If our elder sister knew that today’s wedding was your idea, I don’t know what would happen.” After that, Kylie clasped her cup and drank its contents.
“You can’t frame me! Your man is a thief. If you make a fuss about it, it’ll all be your fault.”
Poof. Lily once again felt the effects of her drink.
“Lily, what’s the matter with you?” Julian looked at her angrily. Kylie’s performance had been very good, but Lily seemed stuck.
“You spit out the water twice. Is there a problem with the water?” Kylie reached for her glass.
Chapter 85: You’d Better Focus On Yourself
Lily was scared, so she grabbed the glass before Kylie could reach it. “It’s not a problem with the water; it’s me… I just suddenly keep coughing,” she said.
She tightly gripped the glass. If they found out that something was wrong with her drink, she would surely figure it out. Then, it would be inevitable for the property manager to be involved. If everyone found out that she had deliberately framed Kylie, she would lose her position of power in the entertainment industry.
The lighting engineer, the recording director, and even the props man were all wearing disdainful looks.
“This is a test of her acting. Once, Oscar-winning actor Cliff Benjamin mistakenly drank soy sauce, when it was supposed to be cola. He frowned but continued his scene. After the shot, he said that the props were misplaced, and warned everyone to be careful.”
“How could she get The Best Newcomer Award? I think she’s only worth The Best Pretentiousness Award.”
“I used to think that Kylie couldn’t play the role of Becky well. I never expected that her emotional performance would be so good. Her acting skills have impressed me.”
“Yesterday, during the scene in which Kylie’s character kidnaps Sam, I was really excited. I really wanted to push her down for Sam.”
“Yeah, yeah. I really look forward to their love scenes. Oh, my heart beats faster…”
***
After a short makeup break, they started shooting again.
This time, Lily couldn’t tell apart the hallucinogenic water from the regular water. She just had to risk it.
However, the script included more than a single cup. She drank a total of seven cups with Kylie.
Lily’s cheeks became very red, and her eyes began to blur.
“Lily, what the hell is going on?! What I want is an insidious villain, not a sexy whore.” Julian was unbearably angry and tossed the script against the ground.
Lily sat on the ground. She saw that Kylie was laughing at her; she was mocking, smug, scornful…
Then she saw her former assistant, Faith, standing in front of Kylie. She was pointing at her wine glass and saying something.
It turned out that Kylie had already known about Lily’s tricks, and had deliberately switched their props.
“Kylie, You…you…little bitch. It’s you! You did this to me.” Lily rushed at her like a monster.
Faith reacted quickly and pulled Kylie away. “You deserve it. You’re the one who harmed yourself. You can’t blame others.”
When Lily saw that Faith was standing by Kylie’s side, she became even angry.
“You bitch, did you overhear my conversation with the property manager? Did you switch the glasses?” Lily pointed at Faith, shouting.
At that moment, the property master happened to pass by. She quickly picked up the flagon off the table. “I didn’t tell you anything, don’t destroy my reputation.” After that, the property manager quickly walked away.
Faith looked at Lily and asked peacefully: “You look uncomfortable; should I get you a doctor?”
“That’s my business.” Lily kicked at the table and tugged hard at the neck of her shirt.
The hallucinogens were working, and she was uncomfortable. It felt like ants were biting her body.
The other people around her noticed that she was not fine. Khloe tried to help her to her feet, but Lily pushed her to the ground.
Julian called two security guards to take her away. In front of a gathering crowd, Lily struggled wildly.
“Don’t touch me. You bastards! You’re all idiots! You’re all her accomplices!
“Whoever dares to touch me, my sugar daddy will kick your asses.
“Kylie, you slut. You will pay the price…”
Lily acted like a crazy woman. She eventually escaped the guards and knocked down several lamps. Frightened staff members ran off, trying to avoid her.
The media had already received a notice and were waiting outside the set to film evidence of the actress going crazy.
At that time, Lily rushed out and was pursued by a group of security guards.
“Miss Lawrence, why are you losing your temper?”
“Someone told the media that an actress in the crew was misbehaving. Have you got anything to say?”
“Does the script require you to dress like this? Did anyone force you?”
Lily tried to gather herself. She groggily looked at the reporters around her. She smiled and pointed at her own nose. “I called you…”
“You called us? Is there an inside story?”
“Please tell me what happened there. Are you okay?”
“Are you taking drugs?”
Lily had completely lost control of her own mind. She raised her hands up and began to shake her head. She mumbled: “Dance… Dance together… Wow. It’s funny…”
Julian received the notice and hurried outside to protect his crew from the media.
“Sorry, everyone. Lily has some mental problems and is temporarily out of the show. Sorry that you came in vain. I will arrange for you to come visit the set tomorrow. Is that okay? Thanks.”
Julian was a prestigious director. The media naturally supported him and believed in what he said, but Lily was miserable.
As soon as the news of her breakdown was made public, she would be completely erased from the entertainment industry.
The bystanders gradually dispersed.
Khloe stood up with some help from the others. She looked at Kylie with incredulity. “Sister, when did the company hire an assistant for you?”
Kylie shrugged her shoulders casually. “I hired her. I’ll report it to the company soon.”
“Sister, you will soon be rejected by the company. Aren’t you ruining her future?” Khloe asked with a smirk.
“I have money. I wanted an assistant,” Kylie casually peeled the wrapper off a chewing gum and tossed it into her mouth. “It’s none of your business. You’d better focus on yourself.”
“You are really shameless, playing tricks on Lily.”
“I’m shameless?” Kylie picked up her backpack and smiled. “If she hadn’t tried to trap me, she wouldn’t have trapped herself. You should look into her IQ. How can you be friends with such an idiot?”
“You…” Khloe’s face went purple with rage, and she clenched her teeth together.
She hadn’t expected Lily to be so stupid. Why had she attempted to trap her in such a lowly manner? And not only that-but she had lost her genius assistant to Kylie, as well!
Yet Khloe would definitely fight back; she must not give Kylie another chance.
