Chapter 361

“What's the secret?”

“Do you know who wrote my hit songs and created the melody?”

“The composer and lyricists of all your songs kept their names anonymous. Are you going to tell me...” Suddenly, it hit him. Xavier’s eyes widened.

Orpheus had won many Best Actor and Best Singer awards. His latter achievement was primarily due to well written songs. Many artists in the industry begged Orpheus to let his composer and lyricist write a few songs for them, but none succeeded in convincing him.

The last thing Xavier expected was Bonnie to be the elusive composer and lyricist.

“There’s more,” Orpheus added.

“Th-there’s more?!” Xavier stammered.

“Hehehe! The head of the Jade Horizon Hotel was Bonwick’s apprentice . Oh, you have no idea how delicious Bonwick’s cooking is.

Damn, my mouth is watering now. I'll have to ask her to make me dinner at her place tonight.” Orpheus gulped as he spoke.

Xavier also gulped, but not for the same reason Orpheus did. The former was shocked that Bonnie had so many different identities and was the best in every field.

‘Is she even human?’ Xavier looked at Bonnie in awe, thinking, “Thank goodness I changed my mind in time and bought her that billion-dollar ginseng. Otherwise, she would've dragged my family

into oblivion with her inhuman skills."

After listening to Bonnie’s suggestions, the director showed newfound respect for her. Simultaneously , he felt so confident that he knew his television adaptation of her novel would be a massive hit.

“Ah, damn it!” The director suddenly smacked his head.

“What's wrong? Are you stressed because you missed a part? Tt’s okay, I can explain it again.” Bonnic looked at the director in puzzlement.

“That’s not what I’m worried about, Ms. Bonnie. We just lost our female lead!”

Since Tatiana had offended Bonnie, Xavier supported the latter and fired Tatiana. Moreover, Tatiana could never return to the industry.

“Just pick a new actress,” Bonni said casually, “Tatiana didn’t look the part anyway.”

The director could not help but agree, “She might’ve enjoyed misusing her status and had a nasty character, but her acting skills were immaculate. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have chosen her as the female lead.”

“You should choose someone with better looks,” Bonnie suggested.

The director looked at her admiringly and asked, “Do you have an acting bug, Ms. Bonnie? You have killer looks, after all. I’m confident the drama will be a massive hit if you take the female lead role!”

Bonnie was shocked. “T have no talent in acting, and 1’m not interested in it. Maybe you should look for someone better suited for the role.”

The director was disappointed about her response. He looked at her otherworldly beauty and could picture how she would look in a historical dress.

‘It'd be breathtaking! What a shame!"

Bonnie made another suggestion, “How about you open castings?”

“T don’t see another way around it, Ms. Bonnie. That reminds me. We have an opening for the role of a minor character. Do you think you can do it?” The director stared at Bonnie.

She thought, ‘I’ve never tried acting. I’m not into it, nor do I have the time. I need to focus on my work in the research institute, not to mention attending college."

Chapter 362

‘If it’s a minor role, Ill try it."

“Which minor character are you referencing?”

“Freya,” the director replied.

“Oh, wow!” Orpheus exclaimed delightfully , “You'll be playing my ex- wife, Bonwick!”

Although Bonnie finished writing this novel several years ago, she remembered Freya as the male lead’s ex-wife who died while shielding him from deadly arrows. Since Bonnie would not have much screen time, she could probably take a day to finish shooting her parts.

“All right, [ll give it a go.”

Xavier did not know what to feel. At that moment, he could be the only person who knew that Bonnie was Ms. Bonita.

‘If Bonnie’s real identity leaks, the TV drama will be a sensation when it comes oul. The other dramas’ ralings will take a plunge then."

Nancy was teary-eyed as she approached Bonnie and apologized, “I’m sorry for everything that happened just now. I-I didn’t even know—”

“You didn’t spike the drink, so you have nothing to apologize for.”

Bonnie held the bowing Nancy up.

“Still, T was an accomplice. I shouldn’t have succumbed to Tatiana when she threatened to fire me. My mom will be so mad when she finds out | sold my soul for money. I don’t think I can forgive

myself.” Nancy wiped her tears.

‘T’ll never do anything like that again."

Bonnie looked at her calmly and said, “Now that Tatiana is no longer a part of the industry, the female lead role is wide open. How about you give it a shot?”

“Huh?” Nancy was utterly stunned.

“Orpheus told me you and Tatiana graduated from Pyralis Film Academy. Also, you’re as good- looking as ‘Tatiana, if not prettier.”

Nancy palmed her cheek and said shyly, “Are you sure I can? Although I graduated from Pyralis Film Academy, I’ve never acted in a TV drama.

I’m worried Pil—”

“You need money to keep your mom’s treatment going, right? Based on your current situation, you need an actress’s salary to take some of the weight off your shoulders.” Bonnie continued to convince Nancy.

The latter was starting to see things Bonnie’s way.

Bonnie added, “I admire you for doing everything you can for your mom. You love her so much that you worked for Tatiana and subjected yourself to humiliation. Also, you originally came from a wealthy family, correct?

“T can imagine how much working for Tatiana has hurt your dignity. If you could do that, you shouldn’t shy away from taking the female lead role.”

Nancy looked into Bonnie’s unwavering eyes and remembered their shared background and history. The former suddenly understood why Bonnie genuinely wanted to help her even though they barely knew each other.

Nancy felt a lump in her throat as she said, ‘“Th-thank you, Ms.

Bonnie.”

Orphcus whispered, “Bonwick, are you helping her because you share a similar history?”

“T guess you can say thal,” Bonnie admitted.

Orpheus looked at Nancy and clicked his tongue before saying, “She’s quite pretty. Still, she’s too frail and defenseless for the role. I doubt she can portray the female lead’s hardiness and decisiveness.”

His words did not faze Bonnie. She said, “You have it all wrong.”

“What do you mean?”

“Here, I'll give you a scenario. Can you keep yourself together and say nothing if your buddy turns on you and makes you his bitch? What would you do if he began to beat and threaten you?”

“Hell no! I’d die from keeping my frustrations to myself!” Orpheus grew triggered at the thought of it.

“There’s your answer. I believe Nancy can pull it off. Do you still think she’s frail and defenseless?”

Chapter 363

“But that doesn’t necessarily mean she's tough, right? Maybe she just wasn’t bold enough to fight back.”

Bonnie raised a brow and said, “Just give Nancy a chance. You'll find out just what she’s made of. She’ll prove she has what it takes to assume the female lead role and become your character’s partner.”

Orpheus could only shrug and say, “I guess I just can’t see it yet.”

“All right, that wraps it up! T want chicken pot pie and tuna casserole for tonight’s dinner.”

That night, Bonnie and Orpheus went to Lenfield Resort together. The latter said, “This is my first time visiting your place. This place lives up to its name. It’s nothing to laugh about, not even in comparison to the Knights’ house.

“Your villa is the best around, Bonnie. You have the best view, too.”

Orpheus looked around the place, wide eyed.

He was still admiring the place when Bonnie grew slightly annoyed, saying, “Are you going to keep ogling over the place? Maybe we should forget about dinner if that’s what it takes to please you.”

“Hey, don’t do that! It’s been a long time since I tasted your cooking.

You have no idea how often I’ve stopped myself from drooling today. I couldn’t stop thinking about your cooking even while we were on the set.”

“Aattaboy!” Bonnie nodded.

“Come one, let’s go inside. 1’ll be your sous chef.”

Bonnie said smilingly, “Sure, that sounds good.”

When she finished mushroom soup, Orpheus said, “Let me take that to the dining table.”

“Are you sure? It’s still scorching,” Bonnie cautioned.

“Bonwick, are you worried about me?”

“7m just worried you'll spill my soup.”

Suddenly, Orpheus exclaimed, “Ouch! That’s hot!”

Clang!

When the pot fell, some scalding soup spilled onto Orpheus’s shirt.

“Quick, remove your shirt!” Bonnie yelled before running over to help.

At that moment, a spine-chilling voice echoed, “What are you two doing?”

The duo stopped as Ivor approached. He looked so angry that he could punch even Orpheus, his uncle. Orpheus’s eyes widened, and he struggled to find his voice. Soon after, Orpheus stammered, “I-Ivor, don’t do anything rash! You're misunderstanding the whole thing!”

However , his words did not work. Ivor was already close, and Orpheus could see his nephew's fists. “Come on, Ivor! I’m your uncle. Are you seriously going to punch me again? Fine, don’t say I didn't warn you!

T’ll tell your father if you hit me again!”

Bonnie stood before Orpheus and shielded him.

Ivor’s expression tured grim as he asked, “Are you protecting him?”

Bonnie’s lips twitched despite herself. She asked, “What’s that supposed to mean? Orpheus wasn't trying to do anything to me.”

“T saw you removing his shirt, Bonnie. You’re the one making a move on him. I have pride as a man and won’t let him off so quickly. I don’t care if Orpheus is my uncle!” Ivor said through gritted teeth.

Orpheus retorted, “Are you serious? Then, why would you want to punch me if she’s removing my shirt?”

“Shut up!” Bonnie and Ivor barked simultaneously.

Orpheus was astounded, thinking, ‘I’m the older one here, but they treat me like I’m their child! I deserve more respect, damn it.’

Chapter 364

Bonnie looked away from Orpheus and gazed into Ivor’s eyes, saying, "

Please control yourself and not get jealous. Stop jumping to

conclusions. Although you’re a good man, my patience has limits, and I can no longer stand your jealousy.”

Her minor compliment lifted Ivor’s spirits significantly. He said, “1 don’t think you can blame me for that, Bonnie. Wouldn't you be mad if ladies are constantly around me?”

“Why would I get mad? That just means you’re handsome and charming. Also, you don’t sleep around,” Bonnie squinted at him and added, “It’s unlike you to suspect me for no reason.”

After some thought, Ivor looked at Bonnie and Orpheus several times.

Soon after, he saw the spillage on Orpheus's clothes and the mess on the floor. Being the sharp- witted guy he was, Ivor put the puzzle together and realized what had happened.

‘1m sorry, Bonnie!” Ivor held his fiancee’s shoulders and looked at her intently. “1 shouldn’t have suspected you of cheating on me. | promise | won’t let jealousy get the better of me again.”

Orpheus’s lips twitched as he asked, “Do you even believe what you just said?”

Ivor turned and glared at his uncle, silently promising to deal with him if he did not shut up. Orpheus felt a shiver down his spine. He glanced at the spilled mushroom soup and said, “I'll clean up this mess. Damn it, there’s goes my soup.”

Orpheus picked up a mushroom slice as he spoke.

Bonnie noticed it and asked, “Are you seriously going to eat that?”

“Uh, come on, Bonwick. Give me some credit, will you? Hygiene is my middle name.” Although he said that, he felt the urge to eat the mushroom.

Half an hour later, the dishes were served on the dining table. Orpheus gobbled almost everything. He was still enjoying himself when Ivor asked him to leave, “It’s getting late, Orpheus. You should finish your dinner and go home.

“It's almost midnight, and I’m sure you’re tired from work. You should leave now and get some rest.

Orpheus smiled bitterly, saying, “Gee, thanks for the concern.”

Mcanwhile, Ivor scooped a spoonful of tuna casserole and put it on Bonnie’s plate. “Here, have some more.”

Orpheus lost his appetite at that moment. He intended to get back at his nephew by telling him about Bonnie’s guest appearance as his ex-wife in the television drama. “Hey, I have something interesting to tell you, Ivor. Bonwick visited the film set just now, and the director offered her _?

Bonnie suddenly kicked Orpheus’s shin.

“Ouch! Th-that hurt!” He even hopped up from his chair.

Bonnie shrugged at him as if telling him he had it coming.

‘He must've forgotten about the earlier mess. Ivor got jealous and almost punched him. How did it slip his mind already? Tf Ivor finds out I’m acting as Orpheus’s ex-wife, he might do something worse than punch his uncle.’

Orpheus looked at Bonnie and understood her gaze.

‘She's right. I almost fucked up.’

Ivor squinted at the duo before looking at his uncle and asking, “What did the director offer Bonnie?”

Orpheus cleared his throat, adjusted his seat, and continued to eat. He said, “He offered her a role, but she turned it down.”

He told a half-truth, and Ivor, adept at seeing through lies, did not suspect a thing. Even so, Ivor had a hunch there was more to it than that.

Chapter 365

At that moment, Ivor decided to tag along the next time Bonnie visited the film set.

Meanwhile, Tatiana returned to her old ways after getting kicked out of the entertainment industry. She leaned on a wealthy man’s chest and felt sickened.

“You have to help me, Jonathan. Otherwise, they'll ban me from the industry forever,” Tatiana said as she flirtatiously drew circles on the older man’s chest.

“Are you trying Lo suck me dry, baby?” Jonathan held her hand and fiddled with them.

“That’s not true. You're strong and have so much stamina. We can pull an all-nighter, yet you'll still be raring to go.”

“You always know what to say.” Jonathan kissed Tatiana, and she almost barfed her dinner.

“Come on, Jonathan—you have to help me. Pretty please!” Tatiana suppressed her true feelings and continued to coax him.

Jonathan was turned on and felt like he was on fire. “Don’t worry about it. I’m Xavier’s business partner and his good friend. Some even say we’re like brothers. All I have to do is talk to him, and you'll be back in the industry in no time.”

Tatiana was thrilled when she heard that.

‘I know how close Jonathan and Xavier are. If I’m not mistaken, they’re related —maybe distant relatives . That’s why I slept with Jonathan in the first place.’

He took his phone and said, “Give me a minute while I call Xavier.”

The call connected in no time. “Hey, Xavier, it’s me, Jonathan. I need a favor.”

Meanwhile , Xavier glanced through some documents in his study. He answered the call, “We’ve known each other for so long, Jon. We’re practically family. It hurts my feelings that you must ‘call in a favor.’ I thought you considered me family.”

“Of course I do! You’re even closer to me than my actual brother. Why would I think of you as anything other than family?”

“Okay, what is it, Jon? I’ll do everything I can to help you.”

Jonathan looked at Tatiana, Icaning on his chest and anxiously staring at him. He said, “One of your celebrities got on your wrong side recently. I wonder if you can be the bigger man and let it go. I'll treat you to a big meal when I can.”

“Oh? Who do you mean?”

“The rising star—Tatiana.”

“Huh?!” Xavier was so stunned he had to put down his pen. “Tatiana?”

Jonathan had a bad feeling when he heard Xavier’s somber response .

The former asked, “Did she make a huge mess or something?”

Xavier said solemnly, “I can’t help you with that, Jonathan.”

“Listen, Xavier—”

“No, you listen to me!” Xavier raised his voice, and his expression grew grim. “Since we’ve been friends for a long time, you should take my advice and leave Tatiana. Stop getting involved with her, or you’ll get into deep trouble!”

Those words erased any adoration and intentions Jonathan had for Tatiana. He knew his old friend Xavier would not have said that if it were not true.

Jonathan said, “Tatiana told me she got fired and banned from the industry because she offended someone named Bonnie. As far as T know, Bonnie’s a country girl whose family disowned her. Don’t tell me she has another identity or something.”

After some thought, Xavier said, “I’m supposed to keep it a secret, but I don’t want your life to fall apart, old friend. 1’1l give you a hint, but whether or not you understand it is up to you. However, you can’t tell anyone I gave you this hint.”

“All right, you have my word. What's the hint?"

“Bonita.” Immediately after, Xavier hung up.

Jonathan did not understand what Xavier insinuated . ‘The former fell into deep thought, ‘Bonita? What does that mean? What is Xavier trying to hint at? Bonita... Bonnie... Bonita!’

“Bonnie’s—” Jonathan almost blurted his thoughts. He caught himself and covered his mouth as his eyes widened in shock.

Chapter 366

Jonathan paled, and his breathing became unsteady. He was scared.

Tatiana noticed his reaction and looked at him in puzzlement. She

asked, “How’d it go, Jonathan? Did Mr. Xavier agree to let me return to

the industry?”

He gulped and pushed her off the bed.

“Ahh! Tatiana fell face-first, and blood began to drip from her nose. “

Wh-why’d you do that?! What the hell, Jonathan?!”

He quickly got off the bed and put on his clothes, saying, “You've

crossed someone you shouldn’t have and almost dragged me down with

you. Please get as far away from me as possible.

“If you try seducing me again, you’ll suffer a worse fate than getting

banned from the film industry.”

Immediately after, Jonathan bolted out of the room while Tatiana sat on

the floor. She looked miserable as she muttered, “When did I cross

someone I shouldn’t have? Was it Mr. Xavier? It’s all that damn

Bonnie’s fault!

“1 wouldn’t have offended Mr. Xavier if it weren’t for her!” Tatiana

could only shout to vent her frustrations. She knew she could not

rewrite her fate.

The following day, Sheffyn Entertainment announced Tatiana’s ban on

Twitter. The netizens were shocked, wondering what had happened to

Tatiana. Some even speculated she got on someone’s wrong side.

Meanwhile, Trina sat in her room and checked the announcement. She

exclaimed, “That’s perfect! Now I have a chance!”

She had always dreamed of becoming an actress, but the leading roles were always designated internally. Open casting was a rare occasion in the industry. Nonetheless, Trina thought she could bag a minor role with her exquisite looks. Even so, she was not content with a minor role.

Vera bought Trina the most expensive makeup kit and jewelry, saying, "

Do your best to land the lead role, Trina. Don’t forget that you’ ll be involved in Jane Austin’s work. All of her adapted TV dramas are famous.

“Also, Orpheus is the male lead. If you act alongside him, he might fall in love with you. I think we no longer stand a chance with the Rhodes.”

She sighed when she recalled her family’s fallout with the Rhodes.

“You can trust me to do my best, Mom!”

Vera lovingly straightened her daughter’s collar and put a lavish bracelet on her wrist. Vera said, “You'll be the talk of the city if you become a big star and succeed in scientific research. When that happens, I'll call everyone we know and brag about it.”

Trina frowned and said, “It’s ashame I’ll never get into Bonita Research Institute.”

“Don’t beat yourself up. It was Bonnie’s fault that you had a fallout with the people at the research institute . She did a number on your bright future. What a pest!”

Trina lowered her head, looking like she was about to cry.

“All right, that’s enough. It's bad luck to talk about Bonnie. We’ve already cut ties with her, so let’s avoid mentioning her name for the rest of our lives.” Vera patted her daughter’s back and added, “Bonita Research Institute isn’t the only prominent research facility in the world.

“Pyralis alone contains various well-known research institutes. | know you're gifted enough to work at one of them.”

Trina’s eyes lit up. “Okay, I’ll do my best!”

“Achoo!” Bonnie sneezed. “Achoo!”

‘“That’s a couple of sneezes in a row. | wonder who’s bad- mouthing me.’

Suddenly, she saw a figure flash past her door. She muttered, “Was that a thief?”

Chapter 367

Bonnie stood up and quietly peeked out the door, but nobody was there.

Then, out of the corner of her eyes, she saw the figure again. She dashed to the window, leaped out of it, and subdued the figure by grabbing his arm and twisting it back.

“Ahh! That hurts! You’re going to break my arm!”

Bonnie recognized the voice and loosened her grip. She was confused when she saw that it was Ged. She asked , “What are you doing here?”

“Who did you think it was?! You almost broke my arm, damn it!”

“Hey, you can’t blame me. Why were you acting so shifty in the first place? You could’ve walked through the front gate instead of using the window.”

Ged was exasperated, saying, “You have lvor to thank for that. He’s always so jealous of anyone who gets near you.”

Bonnie had no idea what he was talking about. She asked, “What does this have to do with Ivor?”

“You know how he is, Bonnie. He gets jealous of everything. I just praised you for your looks, talents, and combat skills the other day, and he got pissed off and insisted on fighting me. Hc even said he needed to spar because he hadn’t been working out.”

Ged recalled Ivor kicking his ass. The former’s muscles grew sore at the mere thought of it.

“So what if he did? That has nothing to do with what you told me and that you were sneaking into my place.”

“Fine, I’ll cut to the chase. I recently set up a boxing gym, and we’ ll start recruiting students tomorrow. As you know, people tend to challenge gyms. Still, I don’t know anyone good enough to defend mine.

I came to ask for your help.”

Ged paused momentarily and added, “1 didn’t want Ivor to find out 1 came here because I only want your help, not his. That’s why I was sneaking around.”

‘So that’s what he intended,’ Bonnie thought.

“All right, I'll be there tomorrow.”

Ged grinned and said, “Perfect! 1 owe you one, Bonnie. I'll do everything 1 can to repay you.”

The following day, Bonnie followed Ged to his new boxing gym. She had just arrived when Ivor called Ged, asking, “Did you just take Bonnie out somewhere?”

Ged sighed and said, “I need her for a while. Come on. Sharing is caring, right?”

Ivor questioned, “Would you have been okay if someone took your wife out?”

Ged replied through gritted teeth, “I wouldn't have if she went out with someone | didn’t know. However, 1’d be fine if she went out with you. If Bonnie’s okay with it, you can take my wife out however long you need.”

Ged grinned and looked at Bonnie, asking, “Would that bother you, Bonnie?”

Ivor’s lips twitched as he said, “Fine, you win this time!”

Ged could burst out laughing now. He had been friends with Ivor for a long time and could never beat [vor at anything. Finally, Ged pulled one over Ivor.

Bonnie looked around the boxing gym interior and said, “The interior design looks good.”

“Of course it does. I spared no expense in building this place. You see —” Before Ged could finish, a group of men appeared at the entrance.

The leader in all black approached Ged and asked, “Do you own this place?”

“Yeah, I do. It doesn't look like you guys are here to enroll.” Suddenly, Ged’s eyes widened. He recognized the emblem on their shirts. These men came from the Warrior’s Way Boxing Club. Ged asked, “Are you here to challenge us?”

“Precisely. Our boxing club is just a few blocks down. Since you set up your gym here, you intend to take our customers. You aren’t playing by the rules, my friend.” Trystan , the leader, arrogantly tugged at Ged’s shirt.

Ged grew annoyed and pushed Trystan, saying, “What rules? I’ve never heard of such a thing. If that’s true, then boutiques can’t be next to each other. What about restaurants? That’s such a bullshit rule.

“You must be scared of a little competition because you guys are bad at running a business. You’re just worried I'll take all your customers.”

Chapter 368

“If you lack confidence and competence, bulldoze your boxing club and stop wasting everyone’s time. After all, people might choose the wrong gym.”

“Hmph!” Trystan turned red with rage. “That’s enough talking. How dare you say we’re incompetent! We’ ll fight right now if you dare!”

“Fine! You can’t intimidate me. I’ll get the ring ready. One of my people will fight one of yours in the ring. If you defeat her, Ill bulldoze my boxing gym immediately.”

Trystan and his gang were pleased with that. He said, “How bold of you.

It’s a deal. Who will you send into the ring?”

Ged looked at Bonnie and asked, “Will you please do the honors, Bonnie?”

“Sure thing,” Bonnie agreed and entered the ring.

“What?” Trystan was confused before bursting out into laughter. "

You're asking an inexperienced girl to represent your gym? You must be trying to lose.”

The others joined in his laughter.

Ged confidently retorted, “Laugh while you can. You'll cry your eyes out soon enough.”

Trystan noticed his calmness and instinctively glanced at Bonnie, thinking, ‘She’s almost as beautiful as an angel. Still, how can someone as delicate as her win against my men? This can’t be real."

“Stop mocking us and send your strongest fighter to the ring,” Trystan urged.

“That won't be necessary. My weakest fighter is capable enough to take you all on.” Ged gave Bonnie a subtle look, silently apologizing to her.

‘?’m sorry, Bonnie. I had to say that to rile them up."

She nodded at him to signal she knew what he was doing and did not mind.

Trystan shouted, “You have balls for insulting us! You asked for it.

Jamal, you’re up!”

“T won't let you down.” Jamal balled his fists and jumped into the ring. "

You're pretty, little lady. My arms are twice the size of your calves. You should exit the ring while you can, or I'll destroy your delicate face.”

Bonnie replied indifferently , “Stop wasting my time. There’s a lot of people down there.”

‘This bitch is insinuating she can take us all on alone!"

“You might look cute, but you have a nasty mouth. It looks like I’ll have to go all out.” Immediately after, Jamal raised his fists and strode toward Bonnie.

“Wait!” The sudden voice stopped Jamal.

“Who said that?”

Everyone shifted their gaze to Ged.

Trystan smirked, “What’s wrong? Are you worried your pretty lady will get hurt, or do you want to surrender already?”

“Who said anything about surrendering? I’m pausing the fight because our deal isn’t fair.”

“How so?”

“I'd bulldoze my boxing gym if my fighter lost. What about you guys?”

Ged asked.

‘How can we possibly lose this fight?’ Trystan felt good about his chances.

Chapter 369

Trystan glanced at the petite and defenseless-looking Bonnie. He raised his chin and said, “The same will happen to our boxing club if we lose.”

“Perfect!” Ged exclaimed. He could not wait to see the Warrior’s Way Boxing Club getting bulldozed. “We have a deal!”

Once Ged and Trystan agreed, Jamal looked at Bonnie and said, “Since you're so pretty, I’ll let you take a free shot at me.”

Bonnie squinted and asked, “Are you sure?”

Jamal smacked his chest to demonstrate how hard his pecs were. “Of course I am!”

Bonnie strode forward and punched his chest. He thought the punch would be soft and powerless and intended to jeer when it connected.

However, he felt like he got hit by a sledgehammer.

Jamal even suspected his insides had been smashed. He let out a heart - wrenching scream as he flew out of the ring and fell to the ground.

When he passed out, the whole gym fell into a pin- drop silence.

Everyone’s jaw dropped, and their eyes widened. Even Ged, who knew how formidable Bonnie was, was so dumbfounded that he could barely regain his senses.

‘Th-that can’t be real!”

He took his phone and texted Ivor, “Bonnie’s awesome! She just punched a touch and burly fighter named Jamal, and he flew out of the ring. He even passed out! You should be careful around your fiancee, Ivor. She might just beat the shit out of you when you sleep together.”

Ivor replied, “What do you mean? Of course, we'll sleep together.”

Ged responded, “That’s not the point, buddy. I’m trying to say Bonnie might smack you into oblivion if you piss her off.”

“She won't,” Ivor replied confidently.

‘What makes you so sure?”

Tvor smirked and looked at Bonnie’s picture on his laptop. His smile grew wider, and there was nothing but love in his eyes. He replied, “I'll do everything she says and give her everything she wants. I'll do my best to dote on her no matter what. She’ll have no reason to smack me because I love her that much.”

Ged looked at the text but did not reply. Instead, he muttered, “I think I’m about to throw up.”

Meanwhile, Trystan told his men to carry Jamal away as he stared at Bonnie.

At that moment, Micah volunteered to fight. “She packs a punch, Trystan. Still, that doesn’t mean Jamal didn’t underestimate her. I don’t think she’s that good. Let me give it a shot.”

“Fine, go ahead.”

Micah cracked his knuckles and entered the ring. He looked at Bonnic menacingly and said, “Unlike Jamal, I show no mercy even to women. If you're smart, you’ll surrender now, little lady. Otherwise, I'll break your pretty face.”

“Are you done talking? Let’s get this over with.” Bonnie glanced at him sidelong as she spoke.

Chapter 370

“You're cocky. I'll take you down a notch!”

Instead of balling his fists, he made his fingers look like claws. Bonnie recognized his stance and prepared to fend off his attacks. She blocked his swipes, and he clawed at her again. However, Bonnie bent down and threw an uppercut.

Micah staggered a few steps back and looked at her in shock.

“That’s a shadowboxing technique!” Trystan instinctively walked to the side of the ring and stared at Bonnie.

“Don’t stop.” Bonnie wagged her finger at Micah.

‘How dare she taunt me!"

Micah reddened with anger but knew he had to preserve his honor. He charged at Bonnie again, this time not holding back. To everyone’s surprise, the duo traded several more blows before Micah suffered a fate similar to Jamal's.

Bonnie’s punch also sent Micah flying out of the ring. She glanced at Trystan and his gang, saying, “Taking you guys on one at a time is too time-consuming. I’ll take you all on at once.”

“How dare you underestimate us!” Trystan was furious.

“That’s not it. I have something to attend to soon, and you're wasting my time,” Bonnie said truthfully.

Some of Trystan’s men could no longer take it. One said, “Trystan, let’s take her on together. We’ll win because we outnumber her.”

However, Trystan raised his hand. His instincts told him none of them were a match for Bonnie.

‘What will I do if she beats all of us even if we outnumber her? We'll never recover from such humiliation . Then, how will we recruit more students?"

Trystan looked at Ged and wondered where he found such a formidable fighter. Meanwhile, the latter grinned, asking, “Isn’t my fighter fantastic? Do any of you want some action? If no one does it, I’ll take it as a surrender.

“Don’t forget to get a shiny bulldozer to knock down your boxing club.

I'll foot the bill if you’re unwilling to pay for a bulldozer.

Trystan said smilingly, “I agree that none of us are a match for her.

Still, you’ll need more than a formidable coach to run a successful boxing gym. That means having a coach as powerful as she is is pointless.

“If you’re so tough, we can do another match. Let’s have a five-on-five fight instead. Best two out of three. What do you say?”

“You're just weaseling out of our initial bet! We agreed that you’d bulldoze your boxing club if she won. You can’t back out of the bet now.

You can’t be that shameless ,” Ged palmed his forehead and added, “1 feel sorry for you, Tryslan.”

Trystan balled his fists and said through gritted teeth, “It was just a verbal agreement. We didn’t sign a contract, so it doesn’t count.”

“You little shit!”

“So, will you agree to a team fight, Ged? If you don’t, we'll bug you every day. We'll be here for weeks and drive away your potential students.”

“That’s outrageous!” Ged felt tempted to use his background to intimidate Trystan and the gang. However, he was never one to oppress people with his family name. After all, there were rules and laws for a reason, even in combat.

The tension between Ged and Trystan reached a boiling point when Bonnie said, “Fine, we’ll agree on a five- on - five.”

Everyone turned to look at her in shock.

“This time...” Bonnie looked into Trystan’s eyes fiercely. “...We'll signa contract.”

“Deal!” He readily agreed.

Ged approached Bonnie, looking distressed.
