On the road…
Shen Qi dragged her heavy feet as she continued to walk aimlessly. She seemed to be in a daze as her eyes looked red. The tears seemed to have condensed in her eyes as not a single drop fell down her face.
The bag in her hands had changed shape from the way she clutched it. It looked shoddier at the moment.
Slam!
A person crashed into her as he rushed out of nowhere. That caused Shen Qi to fall to the ground as her bag broke and scattered its contents all over the floor.
The person who crashed into her stood in his original spot in an embarrassed manner. “I am sorry. Are you alright?”
Shen Qi sat on the floor in a dumbfounded manner as she looked blankly at the scene in front of her.
The person who crashed into her quickly knelt down and helped her pick up her things. Then, he placed it into her hands. “I am sorry for I have some other business to attend to. All your things are here.”
After returning her stuff to her, he quickly got up and ran away.
All the stuff in her hands were the things that he had picked up. Her bag lay in tatters on the floor. It could not hold anything inside anymore.
Shen Qi lowered her head and her eyes to prevent other people from seeing the emotions swirling in her eyes. A moment later, she suddenly laughed in a low voice.
The onlookers avoided her one after another. Nobody dared to approach her.
Something streamed down from her face and fell onto the back of her hands, soaking her sleeves.
She did not know how much time had passed. After she had her fill of crying, she dried the tears on her face. Then, she picked up the ruined bag that was on the floor and placed all her stuff inside one at a time. Following that, she picked up the bag and folded it to prevent the things from dropping out. Then, she got up and walked away as if nothing had ever happened.
Originally, she wanted to return home to take the savings she had worked hard over the past few years to accumulate to the clothes boutique to buy two sets of clothes. Otherwise, she would always be ridiculed by Ye Moxuan. However, she never expected that her savings would be gone. Moreover, she was chased out of her house by her own mother.
That was her… biological mother.
Yet, she actually chased her out of the house.
At the moment, Shen Qi was doubting whether she was indeed her mother’s biological daughter. Since young, she always wondered why her mother loved her sister more than her. She did not know what went wrong. She had worked hard since she was young and obeyed her parents words. In order to show that she was an obedient child, she never refused her parents’ requests.
She had obeyed them when they wanted her to substitute Shen Yue to marry into the Ye Family. However, she did not expect…

Ye Moxuan was sitting alone in front of the window, watching the bright lights outside the window. There was only the sound of his breathing in the silent room. In the past, that dumb woman would have gotten out of the bathroom by now and dawdle about in her bed before she would finally lay down to sleep. However, today…
Ye Moxuan frowned as he looked at the small bed at the corner of the room.
The covers were folded neatly and there wasn’t any sign of her anywhere.
That woman… She did not seem to return after she left the house just after she got home from work.
Ye Moxuan lifted his hand to look at his watch.
It was almost 11 p.m..
Damn it! Did she plan to stay outside and not return for the entire night?
Xiao Su happened to enter the room as he said respectfully to Ye Moxuan, “Young Master Ye, if you do not have any more requests, I will be taking my leave first.”
“Wait a minute.” Ye Moxuan shifted his gaze as he motioned for him to come over.
Xiao Su approached him. “Young Master Ye?”
“Where is that woman?”
Initially, Xiao Su did not know which woman he was referring to. He thought that he was referring to the woman he had a one night stand with as he scratched his head and said, “Young Master Ye, I have already sent more men to the hospital already. Recently, they did not come across any single woman going to the hospital for a check-up. Young Master Ye, if I may be bold enough, could the woman you have slept with be a married woman?”
When he heard this, Ye Moxuan’s anger went up a notch as he clenched his fists silently. “Say that again!”
His rage was over the roof as it nearly exploded out of his body. Xiao Su was so frightened that he quickly took a step back as he stammered, “Y-Young Master Ye, I was merely joking. It’s utter nonsense, right? Haha!”
Ye Moxuan narrowed his eyes as he opened his mouth. There was a dangerous aura around him at the moment. “I am asking about the other woman!”
“Which woman?” Xiao Su scratched his head as he was still confused.
Just as Ye Moxuan was about to explode, Xiao Su finally reacted as he puffed out his chest quickly and said, “You are asking about Assistant Shen?”
Ye Moxuan did not answer.
Xiao Su looked at his surroundings. “Hmm, shouldn’t Assistant Shen be here at the moment? Why don’t I see her today?”
The veins on Ye Moxuan’s forehead were pulsating.
“If you are asking me this question, then who am I supposed to ask?”
Xiao Su was speechless for a moment before he replied. “I understand. I will go and investigate now.”
15 minutes later, Ye Moxuan got tired of waiting. That woman had no intention of coming back, and there was no news from Xiao Su yet.
Just as Ye Moxuan was about to push his wheelchair out, Xiao Su walked in.
“Young Master Ye, I have news of her.”

Under the neon lights, Shen Qi lay on the bar counter as she continued to drink one glass after another.
“Give me another one!” Shen Qi downed the entire glass as she pushed the empty glass toward the bartender. “I want the strongest booze you got here!”
Her voice was loud and that instantly attracted the cheering of a group of men.
Shen Qi knew how to drink. In the past, it was common for her to accompany her clients out for some drinks until she suffered from bleeding gastric ulcers. However, every time she returned home in a sick state, her husband, Lin Jiang, was already fast asleep. He had never asked her how she was doing ever.
In the beginning, her alcohol tolerance was low, but soon she managed to attain a higher tolerance for it through constant practice.
It had been ages since she experienced the sense of numbness from drinking.
In a dark corner of the bar, Xiao Su pushed Ye Moxuan and stood there. “Young Master Ye, Assistant Shen is right there.”
That woman wasn’t hard to find as Ye Moxuan managed to pinpoint her through the crowd.
She was wearing a simple white T-shirt and a pair of white-washed jeans. Her skinny and petite figure was almost as childish as a high-school student. She was sitting in front of the bar counter, drinking. She had let down her hair that she usually wore up as a ponytail as her long and silky hair cascaded down her shoulders, covering half her face.
Lights of various colors shone on her face through her hair, creating a hazy appearance. It brought out the gentleness of her well-defined features. Her face was flushed. It was obvious that she had had a lot to drink.
“Young Master Ye, Assistant Shen seems to have too much to drink. She looks very sad. Do you want me to go over there and bring her back?”
Ye Moxuan did not say anything. However, the pulsating veins on his forehead had already revealed his feelings at the moment.
At the moment, the man that was staring at Shen Qi for quite some time finally couldn’t help but walk over to strike up a conversation with her. He draped his arm around her shoulder and said, “Hey gorgeous, why are you upset? You have been drinking here for such a long time. Do you want me to accompany you?”
Shen Qi looked at the man who had his arm around her shoulders with a hazy look in her eyes. Then, she laughed coldly and pushed the man’s arm away from her. “Don’t touch me.”
The man was stunned. He did not expect such a cold gaze from such a gentle and petite looking woman. Her gaze was cold, like a silent lake in the Celestial Mountains. Not a ripple was to be seen in her gaze.
“I was just being nice. I saw that you had quite a lot to drink, and I just wanted to accompany you. Don’t reject me so eagerly, alright?”
With that, the man’s hand wandered to her slender waist as he circled it with his arm. Although Shen Qi had had too much to drink and her consciousness was a little bit cloudy, she was still on her guard.
“Let go of me!”
“Get your nasty paws away from her.”

Although she had swatted the man’s hand away, he remained unperturbed. Just as he was preparing to drape it over her shoulder again, he was dragged away by his collar.
What was happening? Just as he was pondering about this, he felt the surrounding temperature suddenly drop as a sharp, penetrating gaze fell upon him. It turned out that the gaze belonged to the man in the wheelchair.
Under the neon lights of the bar, everybody seemed to have blended into the background. However, he was different.
He merely sat there as his gaze conveyed the message that he was of noble birth. That cold, serene, unfathomable eyes and his aura formed a realm of their own, preventing the outside world from entering it.
“What were you going to do to her?” asked Xiao Su as he grabbed the man’s collar.
“I am sorry!” After the man regained his senses, he immediately apologized. Although the other party was sitting in a wheelchair, he could make out that that guy wasn’t an ordinary person based on the way he carried himself. Moreover, when the guy behind him grabbed his collar, he wasn’t able to fight back. So, what did that mean?
He was an experienced man, hence he knew how to adapt to the situation.
“I didn’t know you were with her. I am sorry. Please let me go.”
Ye Moxuan did not say a word as he pressed his thin lips together. His sharp gaze fell upon that man’s hand.
“Which hand did you touch her with?”
The man stood rooted to the spot. His forehead was beaded with cold sweat. Ye Moxuan’s cold gaze was akin to a shapeless mountain as it weighed heavily upon his shoulders. Unconsciously, he began to behave in a servile manner in front of him as he slowly lifted his right hand.
“Cripple it!”
Amidst the loud music, his calm words were similar to dropping a bombshell on the ground.
The guy’s face changed in that instant as his teeth chattered. “I-I-I didn’t mean to touch her. I don’t know… Sir, please have mercy on me!”
Before he had a chance to finish his sentence, several men in suits and sunglasses came forward and grabbed him.
He had never seen this scene before, hence he nearly collapsed onto the floor out of fright.
However, at the moment, there was a sudden turn of events.
Shen Qi, who was lying motionlessly on the bar counter just now, suddenly stood up and swaggered her petite figure over to Ye Moxuan.
“You!”
She walked toward Ye Moxuan and pointed her index finger at him.
Ye Moxuan’s expression remained unchanged as he looked at her with a calm expression.
There was a red tinge on her fair face and a drunken expression in her cold eyes, giving her a gentle and charming look. There were still some traces of wine on her rosy lips as her silky hair fell softly onto her shoulders, covering most of her face. She looked as if she had makeup on her face, yet it looked more natural than makeup.
Ye Moxuan looked lost as her charming gaze seemed to draw him in.
“You have no right… to interfere in my business!” Shen Qi bellowed as she pointed at Ye Moxuan.
However, she was a little woozy from the alcohol just now. She didn’t sound very convincing at all. On the contrary, she appeared coquettish and charming.
The rest of Ye Moxuan’s subordinates were so stunned that they had their mouths wide open when they saw this scene.
How could this woman have the courage to point Ye Moxuan in his face and accuse him of having no right to interfere in her business?!
“Well, say something! I am asking you a question!” When Shen Qi saw that he wasn’t moving at all, she took a step forward toward him. However, she missed her footing and fell on top of him.
“Young Master Ye!” Xiao Su’s eyes went wide as he called out to Ye Moxuan anxiously.
When Ye Moxuan saw the woman who was falling toward him, he could have avoided her as long as he moved his hand.
However, the consequences would be her falling onto the cold, hard floor. On the other hand, if he did not avoid her, she would fall into his embrace in front of all his subordinates.

His subordinates’ eyes turned wide as they looked at the scene in front of them in disbelief.

Ye Moxuan did move his hand. However, he did it to catch her. Shen Qi was falling toward him in the wrong position. As such, she nearly knocked her head upon the armrest of the wheelchair.
Just as her head was about to hit it, Ye Moxuan moved his hand and grabbed her other arm and brought her directly, and precisely, into his embrace.
Xiao Su heaved a sigh of relief. It was fortunate that she did not hit her head.
When he noticed his subordinates’ shocked expressions, Xiao Su pouted in his heart. He had heard Young Master Ye’s dallying with Shen Qi before, hence this was nothing to him.
Shen Qi’s soft face hit against Ye Moxuan’s sturdy chest. After she fell into his embrace, she did not move anymore. However, after a while, she mumbled in pain, “It’s painful…”
When he heard this, Ye Moxuan’s eyebrow twitched.
This damn woman! How could she crash into him like that? If it weren’t for his helping hand, she would have scarred her face by now. Forget about the fact that she did not thank him, how could she cry in pain now?
“Why… are you so hard?” With that, Shen Qi complained angrily as she clenched her small hand into a fist and hit his chest. “You jerk! You hurt me!”
Ye Moxuan and his subordinates were speechless.
Xiao Su couldn’t help but smack his forehead as he thought, Was Shen Qi drunk?
Usually, she did not have the guts to treat Ye Moxuan like that.
He did not expect Shen Qi to be a totally different person altogether when she was drunk.

“I was asking you a question just now! You haven’t given me your answer yet!” Shen Qi was still pounding his chest as she asked her question. Although she did not expend too much effort in doing that, and Ye Moxuan didn’t feel anything at all, it was embarrassing nevertheless.
Ye Moxuan grabbed her slender wrist as he bellowed coldly. “Look here, woman! You better know when to stop!”
“What gives you the right to interfere in my business?” Shen Qi didn’t seem to understand his words as she lifted her head and threw the question at him in a loud voice. In that instant, her entire face was inches away from Ye Moxuan’s face the moment she looked up at him.
Their auras intertwined with one another.
There was a hint of alcohol amidst her sweet scent, just like a stimulant.
Ye Moxuan’s breath stopped as he gazed at the face which was inches away from him.
Normally, she did not have the habit of putting on any makeup. Moreover, her skin was in excellent condition. She had crystal clear, fair skin. It was as if a slight breath could break that tender skin of hers. Especially her rosy, enticing lips. It was opening and closing at the same time, as if guiding him toward a certain action.
Ye Moxuan’s gaze darkened as he lowered his voice. Then, his huge hands fell upon her waist. Following that, he said in a deep voice, “If you come any closer, there will be consequences.”
Ye Moxuan thought that a threat would be effective against her. However, he did not understand the condition of a drunk person.
Alcohol could increase a person’s confidence. The more you threaten someone, the more he or she would feel inclined to do the opposite.
The same went for Shen Qi as well. She felt more inclined to do that when she heard Ye Moxuan’s words. Hence, she leaned in closer to him, thereby closing the gap between them. Currently, the gap was almost non-existent at all between the both of them.
“I have come closer to you,” said Shen Qi in a cute and silly manner after she brought her face closer to him.
Her voice was light and feathery, just like fresh cotton candy from the machine. Ye Moxuan felt a tender feeling arising from the bottom of his heart.
Ye Moxuan’s breathing became heavy as he gritted his teeth and glared at her.
“Don’t play with fire!”
This damn woman! He never expected her to be so charming when she was drunk. She nearly drove him to the edge of madness.
“Fire? Where?” Shen Qi chuckled as she suddenly reached out her hand to pinch his lower jaw. She laughed faintly and said, “You still haven’t answered my question yet, Ye Moxuan. I thought you hated me, isn’t that right? Then, why do you have to interfere in my business over and over again?”

“That’s enough!” Ye Moxuan grabbed her wrists and moved to push her away. Unexpectedly, Shen Qi refused and forced herself closer to him. “You haven’t given me your answer yet.”
The veins on Ye Moxuan’s forehead popped up. He clasped her waist to pull her apart from his body but she clung tight to him. All the actions of her intoxicated self were influenced by the alcohol. Noticing that Ye Moxuan wanted to push her away, she directly put her arms around his neck and sat on his legs instead.
Everyone who looked at the scene unfolding in front of them were left speechless.
The subordinates of Ye Moxuan saw the situation and asked softly, “Young Master Ye, do you need help?”
As soon as they asked, two subordinates went forward and moved to grab Shen Qi’s fair arms.
Looking at that, Ye Moxuan’s gaze turned sharp and yelled, “Hands off!”
The two men stopped at once, their muscular arms hanging in the air.
Xiao Su was observing everything at the side and could only sigh to himself. What foolish men they are. Can’t they tell that Young Master Ye is worried about her?
Ye Moxuan was in deep trouble now. Shen Qi was now sitting on him, her arms around his neck. The sweet scent of her body and her soft breath engulfed him, mixing well with the glacial, strong aura that he had.
Ye Moxuan clutched her tiny waist with his big palm and said in a husky voice, “Do you really want to know?”
Shen Qi pouted her red lips and suddenly bent forward to place her head on his shoulder. “I’m sleepy,” she mumbled.
Ye Moxuan was speechless. Did she say that she’s sleepy after flirting with me?
“Hah. Woman, you lost your chance.”
Ye Moxuan moved his wheelchair with his other hand. When Xiao Su saw this, he immediately ordered, “Get the car ready. We’ll leave here now.”
After saying that, Xiao Su quickly abandoned the man and chased after Ye Moxuan.
On the way home, Shen Qi remained in Ye Moxuan’s arms. She was so drunk that she didn’t stop touching him; she hugged his neck, played with his earlobes, traced his skin with her nails and couldn’t stop all the little actions which aroused Ye Moxuan’s desire.
Ye Moxuan also wondered why he would react that easily just from being teased by a woman.
He seized her hands and stopped her from moving.
Shen Qi refused to comply and mumbled, “Let me go!”
Ye Moxuan’s expression turned icy as he looked at the front seat and said, “Speed up!”
This mad woman! She would dare to do anything here if I don’t send her home quickly.
If she continued being like this, his restraint would have depleted before they could reach their house.
Xiao Su stepped on the accelerator. He looked at the two sitting at the back through the rearview mirror helplessly.
Well, their position is so flirty and dangerous. How can Young Master Ye still hold himself back with a drunk woman in his arms?
“Like what you see?” Xiao Su felt a chill down his spine as he heard a glacial voice coming from behind. He immediately straightened his back and fixed his eyes in front, not daring to look at them anymore.
What a joke! How would I dare to watch what they are doing at the back?
Shen Qi began struggling and tried to get the pressure of Ye Moxuan’s hands off her. Unconsciously, her tiny body squirmed in his arms and rubbed against his body. Ye Moxuan’s eyes got darker and used one hand to seize her shoulder. “Damn it! Stop moving!”
After struggling for a few more moments, Shen Qi gave in and looked at Ye Moxuan, grudgingly remaining in her position. Her eyes were full of grief as if she was complaining. Ye Moxuan actually felt his heart soften; he quickly shifted his eyes away from her. “Behave if you don’t want to be thrown out of the car.”
Listening to that, Shen Qi’s eyes widened for a second and immediately closed her eyes after that. She seemed to be frightened by his words and fell into his arms, no longer making a fuss.
Ye Moxuan finally let out a breath and let go of her hands. After getting her hands free from him, Shen Qi quickly stretched her arms to cuddle his body again and lean into his embrace.
Ye Moxuan’s whole body stiffened and cold sweat streamed down his forehead.
Fortunately, after hugging him, Shen Qi didn’t move anymore; instead she shut her eyes and fell asleep.
Listening to her even breaths, Ye Moxuan lowered his gaze to stare at this woman in his arms.
She was a completely different person when drunk compared to when she was sober.
This woman has such a different side!
Her behavior was like a child when she was drunk, so flirty and dependent on others. On the contrary, she would always submit to all his criticism when she was sober. There were times when she was burning in fury from being insulted by him but would just turn around in silence without explaining or defending herself.
“Mom…” Her pinkish lips moved a little while her eyelashes quivered, an inaudible murmur escaping her mouth.
Fifteen minutes later, they finally arrived at the Ye residence. As the car door opened, Xiao Su quickly pushed Ye Moxuan’s wheelchair down along with the tiny figure clinging on to Ye Moxuan’s body like an octopus.
All the servants and maids who waited for Ye Moxuan’s arrival at the entrance could not help but gape in shock.
What’s going on? Second Young Lady is actually… clinging onto the Second Young Master’s body in front of everyone and he didn’t even push her away! I thought they said that the Second Young Master doesn’t like her! Why…
The maids exchanged their eyes. It seems that the case in which a maid was dismissed directly for offending the Second Young Lady is actually real!
As Xiao Su was pushing Ye Moxuan’s wheelchair into the elevator, someone called him. “Moxuan.”
Xiao Su stopped and turned his head to the direction of the voice, where he saw Ye Linhan walking toward them.
Ye Linhan stopped in front of them and fixed his gaze on Shen Qi. “Moxuan, what happened?”
Ye Moxuan’s expression remained neutral as he replied coldly. “Just as what you see.”
Ye Linhan could sense a strong alcohol smell in the air and immediately curled his lips. “Is she drunk?”
“Yes.”
Listening to that, Ye Linhan went forward. “Moxuan, it’s not convenient for you to carry her in your wheelchair. Let me help you.”
After saying that, he reached his arms to lift Shen Qi down from Ye Moxuan’s body. But before he could touch her, Ye Moxuan raised his arm to block Ye Linhan and glared at him coldly.
“Thank you for your kindness. I can do it by myself.”
Ye Linhan looked at his own hands and was stunned for a while. His thin lips moved a little. “Moxuan, I’m worried about your legs. Although Shen Qi is a girl and she’s not that heavy, I’m still afraid that your legs…”
“She’s my wife. I don’t need anyone to take care of her on my behalf.”
Ye Linhan’s expression changed slightly. “Moxuan, I didn’t have any other intention. It’s just that…”
“Let’s go.”
Xiao Su felt extremely awkward. But since he was working under Ye Moxuan, he nodded his head and pushed Ye Moxuan into the elevator.
As they were entering the elevator, Shen Qi was shaken awake. She opened her sleepy eyes and wanted to lift her head up. However, Ye Moxuan quickly put his hand behind her head and pressed her head against his chest instinctively.
He didn’t want Ye Linhan to see her drunken side.
Ye Moxuan wanted to keep her drunken side exclusively to himself.
“Hmm…” Shen Qi struggled hard after being buried in his arms.
Ding! As the door of the elevator was closed, Ye Moxuan released her hands and she was finally free. Just when she was about to speak, everything in front of her turned dark and a kiss fell on her lips.

Xiao Su subconsciously reached out to cover his eyes, trying his best to act invisible.
I didn’t see anything.
However, although he had covered his eyes, he couldn’t cover his ears. Shen Qi’s moan still reached his ears clearly. Young Master Ye, can’t you just wait for another minute? We’re reaching the room soon. Do you really have to do it in the elevator?
This kiss was not long, but because Shen Qi didn’t adjust her breath well, she couldn’t stand the kiss from Ye Moxuan. Her body collapsed in his arms, all her energy spent.
This was not the first time she was left breathless after a kiss. Therefore, Ye Moxuan quickly released her, pinched her chin and said in a hoarse voice, “What on earth did you do to make Ye Linhan care about you so much?”
Ye Linhan even wanted to carry her himself!

Ye Moxuan raised his eyebrows and squinted his eyes. “You don’t know?”
“Yes, I don’t!” Shen Qi nodded her head like a little chick pecking at rice.
Ye Moxuan went silent for a while before asking her suddenly, “Then, who am I?”
Xiao Su, who was at the side, was speechless.
This is a bit frightening, he thought.
Shen Qi stared at the person in front of him and reached out to hold Ye Moxuan’s face. Her beautiful eyes stared at him for a long time; suddenly, she raised the corner of her lips and asked, “Who are you?”
Ye Moxuan’s expression hardened. All this while she did not know that it was him? Thinking of this, Ye Moxuan aura went cold for a few minutes, and he stared at her dangerously. “I’ll give you another minute; you better think hard about who I am!”
“Ye Moxuan!”
Just when he finished his sentence, Shen Qi’s clear voice suddenly sounded, followed by the sound of the elevator door opening. Xiao Su remained stationary, pondering whether he should push them out from the elevator now.
“You haven’t answered my question just now. Why…do you care?” After Shen Qi recalled that the person in front of her was Ye Moxuan, she then returned to her previous question.
Ye Moxuan only felt a headache coming on. This girl really doesn’t know when to give up, does she?
“Take us to our room,” Ye Moxuan ordered coldly. Xiao Su nodded, pushed them out of the elevator, and opened the door swiftly.
Finally, when Xiao Su had sent them back to the room, he wiped the sweat on his forehead and asked, “Young Master Ye, should I…leave first?”
“Wait, ask two maids to come in here.”
“Yes, sir.”
Soon, Xiao Su had ordered two maids to come in, while he waited outside for further orders.
The maids took a lot of effort to pull Shen Qi away from Ye Moxuan before sending her to bed. Shen Qi was very unruly and made a fuss the whole time. When they had finally settled her down, everyone had a thin layer of sweat on their forehead.
“That’s it. You may leave now.”
After all the people had left, Ye Moxuan rolled his wheelchair to Shen Qi’s bedside and looked at the now quiet figure.
In the struggle just now, Ye Moxuan was startled when she suddenly wailed as if she was crying.
Now when he was in front of her and took a better look, he found that there were no changes in the girl’s appearance.

Just then, her phone rang again. When she thought about the fact that Han Xueyou might have arrived, she opened her mouth and said, “I want to get out of the car!”
When he heard this, Ye Moxuan’s handsome brows knitted together as he fixed his cold gaze upon her.
“What did you say?”

When Shen Qi was finally quiet, her phone rang again. Ye Moxuan’s gaze paused for a moment. Who is this person? Why did he or she care so much about her?
As Shen Qi bent forward and picked up her phone, Ye Moxuan released his grip on her.
“Hello?”
“Qi? I have reached the entrance of your company. Where are you? How is your condition? I’m really sorry; I was stuck in traffic just now.”
In the quiet car, the worry in that woman’s voice could be heard clearly.
When he heard a woman’s voice, Ye Moxuan did not bother her anymore.
“I’m fine. I am currently on my way to the hospital.” As she said that, Shen Qi weakly wiped away the cold sweat from her forehead.
Ye Moxuan snorted coldly. She’s in such pain, yet she still told her she’s fine?!
“Really? Did you hail a cab?”
“I will explain it to you later. I’m sorry to make you come here for nothing.”

Ye Moxuan frowned. “Get out of the car quickly.”

The doctor looked unhappy when he cast his gaze upon him. “I take it you are her husband? Her fetus condition is unstable and she had too much to drink! Do you not want this child anymore?”
Ye Moxuan frowned. What does this have anything to do with me?
“Moreover, her abdomen has been hurting for quite some time already. Why did you only bring her to the hospital now?”
