Chapter 246: The Shocked Sam

"This is about my wedding document with your mom. I’ve asked someone to prepare all the documents. So, once your mother wakes up, she only needs to sign it. Then regarding your name, your grandfather and I wanted you to use Spencer as your last name...." Nicholas paused, waiting for an acknowledgment from her.

"Would you like to add something to your name? Or you will just use Rose Spencer?" He continued after seeing her node.

"Dad, no need to add anything. Just replace it with Spencer...." Honestly, she was confused when asked about this. Because the one who named her is her mother. Her father should have asked her mother first, not her, right? As a child, she would just follow them.

"Wow, dad! I will surely find you if I need more capital. I will make you a shareholder like mom..." Rose said casually. But technically, she didn’t need another investor. In her mind, she can picture her beast husband will surely devour her tonight. They separate one night, and she believes he will not give her mercy. It will be troublesome to control the noise from their room. And what bothers her right now is, what if her father could hear them!?

"Mmm... Sure!" Nicholas, feeling awkward, saw her daughter. He knows exactly what she means. Suddenly he felt jealous of his daughter and Evan.

He does hope Molly will wake up soon. He misses her so freaking badly.

"Alright, dad... I will go now." Rose stood from her seat and grabbed her bag. But before she left, he looked at her father again, "Dad, you need to shower and shave. You look really messy right now. What if mom wakes up and is shocked to see you?" Rose smiled as she walked briskly to the door, leaving her frantic father behind.

"Rose, wait!"

She stops and looks back at her father.

"Let me ask someone to drive you... don’t drive yourself."

"No need, dad. Evan assigned Sam Russell as my bodyguard and personal assistant...."

Nicholas felt relieved. He waves his hand as he sends her to the door.

When Rose came out of the VVIP wardroom, she saw Sam in the corridor. He looked lost in thought as if he was contemplating something vital that made the wrinkles on his forehead so noticeable.

Rose felt weird. Because at this moment, Sam is not alert to his surroundings. Not like Sam, she had known all along; He is always alert wherever he is.

Is something bothering him?

"Sam Russell!!"

"Yes, Lady Boss!" Sam stood straight, surprised at his Lady Boss, who was already standing before him.

"Why are you in a daze, Sam? Something is bothering your mind?" A soft chuckle escaped from her mouth when she saw an awkward expression frame his face.

"Lady boss! Are you really Master Nicholas Spencer’s daughter?" He was deathly curious.

He was shocked.

So, what he hears from Gavin is true; His lady boss is related by blood to this formidable figure in this country. The aloof Godly Doctor suddenly disappears from the medical field. Out of nowhere, he appears to have surgery on his lady boss’s mother.

Sam thought it was because Boss Evan asked him to perform surgery, but it turned out that there was another reason. Master Nicholas Spencer had surgery, his wife!

Chapter 247: Powerful Family

Rose smiled as she walked towards the elevator, ignoring Sam’s curious gaze. She glanced at him as the two of them got into the elevator. She was speechless, this man staring at her like a hyena eyeing his prey. Gosh!

"Did my husband tell you?" She suddenly misses him. Last night when he called, she was still chatting with her family.

Ultimately, she did not call him because all Spencer’s finally left the hospital past midnight. Worried that she would wake him, Rose decided just to send him a text. But, until now, Evan didn’t call her. He didn’t even reply to her short message. She was a little worried because usually, her husband was so possessive of her. He will always call or text her, but today is different. Kinda weird!

"No, but Gavin. He called me this morning to inform me about your dress, and he also told me about this huge news...."

Is he on the plane? Rose thought as she looked at her watch. She was shocked.

"Sam... Are we late?"

"No worries, Lady Boss. I have informed Miss Amanda’s assistant that we will be late." Sam answered while concentrating on driving the vehicle. They headed to the S Building in the business district.

Rose and Sam didn’t take long to arrive at the Twin Tower of S Building.

"Sam, about my dress that Evan provided for our lunch date, could you ask someone to deliver it to the apartment? After meeting Aunt Amanda, I will go to the apartment to prepare...."

After seeing Sam nod, Rose immediately gets out of the car. She realized that the S Building is next to the Mogul Mega Mall, not too far from her apartment. She had never noticed this building before.

She saw there were two twin buildings in front of her towering up. Seeing the S Group mark in front of the building, she began to guess that S meant Spencer.

There’s no way her rich aunty will rent other people’s properties, right?

After Sam leaves her alone, Rose decides to look around. She stopped before a gold-colored plaque attached to a white-painted wall with the company name written. She noticed many companies residing in this building. And one of the companies that caught her attention was S99 Entertainment Agency.

She knows this company is Brother Noah Stone’s agency.

"Does the company belong to the S Group too? Or are they just renting an office in this building?" Rose silently talks to herself, but someone answers her. It makes her jolted in surprise to hear an unfamiliar male voice from behind.

"Yes! S99 belongs to S Group...."

She immediately turned to look at the man. But as soon as she saw him, she was shocked.

The man who once made her in trouble now appeared right before her. He was standing so close that she had to take a few steps back to keep some distance between them. Her heart raced, unable to say anything.

Chapter 248: Not My Type

Before, Rose never paid attention to this top actor because she didn’t really like watching domestic films. But, since this man suddenly followed her Instagram account, she started to google his name and remembered his face clearly. This man is Willard Harper.

Why did he suddenly appear in this place?

Rose was perplexed at meeting this weird Willard. This is her first time seeing Willard in person. This man looked tall, but her husband is taller than him. She had to look up to see his face more clearly.

He has a strong jaw, a clean face, and black hair slicked back. His brown eyes were sharp but looked friendly. He looks stylish with his dark blue long coat covering his casual white t-shirt and black jeans. With just a glance, she can guess this man is someone who likes fitness. In Rose’s eyes, Willard is handsome but not her type. She didn’t like pretty men who wore foundation to brighten their skin and use lip tint coloring to moisturize their lips.

"That man... The Godly actor Willard Harper, right!?" Sam turns his gaze to Rose, waiting for her answer. He was sure his eyes weren’t wrong.

"Oooh, yeah! You are right. That man is Willard Harper, your idol..." Rose chuckled as she saw Sam’s face turn dark.

"Holly shit! I lost the opportunity to take a picture with him...." His disappointment was clearly visible on his face.

"Oliv, you will not believe who I just met?" Rose’s voice sounded like a whisper, making Oliver stop typing.

"Who?" He frowned.

"Guess it!"

"Damn it, Rose! Can you just tell me the name?" Oliver could help but feel annoyed. This girl, at this moment like this, when he is worried about her safety, is still testing his patient. Damn it!

"Gosh! Can you speak more gently to women, Oliv? How dare you curse me?"

Did her aunt ask this man to address her like that? It felt weird.

She could only follow him heading to the last room in the corridor. Along the way, she saw the floor employees look stylish. They are busy with their work and don’t bother with their present.

"Lady Boss, this is Amanda Spencer’s office. You know she is leading a division in the Fashion and Entertainment industry for S Group, right? Ah, not only that, but she also took a Food and beverages division in the hotel industry." Sam whispers as he walks beside her.

"I didn’t know. I thought Aunty only has one brand, AX Fashion brand...."

Sam shook his head before he continued his sentence, "She is a respectful business leader in this country. But maybe you already know that all of Spencer is low profile except for Master Jayson. He is the only one who has been active in the media because he is running as a presidential candidate in the next election."

Soon two females enter the room, and they start measuring Rose. It only took a few minutes. They had got her size.

Rose and Sam sit in the seating area while Amanda and two female staff discuss something on the round meeting table in the corner. She couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but from a distance, she could see how serious the meeting was.

"Huh! Sam? What are you doing here? Is brother Evan coming here too?" Keira was surprised to see Sam in the room. She looked around the room to look for Evan, but she didn’t see him. Instead, she saw a familiar-looking girl standing right behind Sam, her head lowering, staring at her mobile phone.

"Hello, Miss Keira. I’m fine, Ma’am. Thank you for asking. No, Boss Evan is not with me. But, I came here with...." Before Sam could finish his words, Keira had already noticed Rose present.

"Y-You... I guess I’ve ever seen you before." Keira was surprised to see her. When the girl slowly lifts her head. She immediately remembered where she had seen that girl before. "Ah! I remember now. Are you brother Evan’s friend, right?" A few weeks ago she saw Rose in a restaurant, but she didn’t pay attention to her at the time because Evan didn’t introduce her.

"Kei, you come!" Amanda approached them. She asked all of them to sit again. After they all sat down, she continued her words, "You don’t know her?" When Amanda sees Kei shake her head, she smiles as she looks at Rose. "She is Evan’s wife, Rose...."

"WHAT! Brother Evan already married? Why didn’t I know about it?" Keira was shocked to hear that. She immediately settled herself in the seat opposite her aunt, but her eyes stole a glance looking at Rose sharply.

"Sister Rose, tell me these two people are only joking with me, right?" She wipes her tears from laughing too much. "It’s impossible for my second Uncle to have a daughter. He never married...."

Rose stared at Keira with a calm expression before she said, "They are telling the truth, Keira. My father is Nicholas Spencer. If you don’t believe me, you can call your father. I met him last night with the rest of the family...."
