Ch. 271..275: Rebirth_ Dancing In My Destiny Chapter 271-275

Chapter 271: Agree

"Hahaha, my son, why are you so impatient?" Edward Spencer laughed for a while before finally getting tired and stopping. He patted Nicholas on the shoulder before continuing. "Alright! This old man will stop teasing you now..."

Then Edward Spencer looked at Molly. His aura suddenly turned more severe than before.

"Molly Wilson, welcome to the Spencer Family. Once again, I say thank you for accepting my son. I am delighted to have you as part of our family. Mm-mmm... once you’re well enough to leave this hospital, let’s celebrate the wedding ceremony at the Spencer family home in North Hills...."

Rose couldn’t hide how happy she was to see her grandfather allow her mother and father to get married. Her mother’s marriage to her father made her very grateful and relieved. Now her mother will not be alone anymore because her father will accompany her until death sets them apart, or that is what she hopes for. But, even though Rose was happy and relieved, she could feel sadness from the bottom of her heart. Now she has to share her mother’s love with others, although the other person is her biological father.

"Thank you, father!" Nicholas Spencer was satisfied with his father’s words. He then approached Molly with a happy smile on his face. "Molly, now we have my father’s blessing. You can sign the form now...." He said as he handed Molly the pen.

Molly was surprised not by the pen Nick had given her but when she heard that Edward Spencer said their wedding would be in the North Hills.

"North Hills? The North Hills!?" Whispers Molly almost quietly.

She had heard that the country’s number one honorable family, the Spencer Family, settled in the Northern Hills. And that place is for them. No other family lived there.

Was this old man in front of her Edward Spencer, the military leader she used to see on the news!? After looking closely at this old man’s face, Molly immediately recognized his face.

Wait! So, Nicholas Spencer, her future husband, was a member of the Spencer Family?

Within seconds after this realization, Molly felt her body freeze. To marry Edward Spencer’s son was something Molly had never imagined would happen. All this time, Molly had always thought that the man she made love to that night came from an ordinary family, not a prominent family in this country. But she was wrong.

Still, this feels too good to be true. Trying to get a reconfirmation from Rose, Molly slowly turned her gaze to her daughter standing behind the door. However, right now, her daughter was so busy talking to Evan that she couldn’t ask him to come closer.

Then, her eyes caught the black pen in Nick’s hand. She felt pressure from within her, looking at it like it was something she had never seen before.

Her heart was confused. Or maybe she’s afraid that this is just a dream?

Does she need to sign the form now?

Or...

Did she need some time to talk to her daughter first?

Imagining the social differences between her family and the Spencers made Molly challenging to pick up the pen in Nick’s hand. Her heart sank at the thought of how honorable the Spencer family was.

"Molly!?" Called Nicholas after seeing her not moving. He frowned in confusion. "Is there anything else you’re worried about?" he asked patiently. He could sense something was bothering Molly at this moment. He drew his head closer to Molly after seeing her calling him closer.

"I want to talk to our daughter first. I want to know if she agrees...." Molly whispered.

Nicholas smiled hearing that. Immediately he called his daughter. "Rose, come here..."

"Yes, dad?"

"Your mother wants to know what you think of our marriage?"

Rose was surprised to hear that. Why is her mother still reluctant to sign?

"Mom!?" Rose smiled as she sat on the side of the bed, stroking her mother’s hand, which felt so cold. She could feel her mother was very nervous. "I’m the first person who agrees... you married my father. So, you can sign the form, Mom!"

Molly was still in a daze at her daughter’s words.

"My beautiful mother... My dad is very handsome, and I witnessed many beautiful doctors and nurses trying to woo him. If you don’t move now, I guarantee you will lose your handsome Nick..." Rose could only tease her mother. Seeing her mother’s eyes shaking as if she was afraid of losing her beloved Nick, Rose kept whispering, "So, why are you reluctant?"

Molly wanted to pinch her naughty little girl but was still too weak. She just glared at her before saying, "Rose, look... I wonder, is your father’s family the powerful Spencer family?" Molly whispered.

"Mother, didn’t father tell you? Yes, yes... My father, the man you had been searching for all this time, is the second son of our military leader, Edward Spencer. You are right, the leading and mighty family in this country."

Molly’s heart tightened. She already knew the answer, but she just wanted to hear the other person confirm what she thought was right. And hearing her daughter’s response made her realize something.

"Rose, my child..." Molly squeezed her daughter’s hand with the last remaining strength. "Do all of your father’s family accept us? You know our background. We’re just an ordinary family...."

Rose chuckled, hearing her mother say, "Mom, don’t worry. All my father’s family has met you and me. They visited you while you were in a coma, and they all liked us. They expect you to wake up soon and marry into the Spencer Family."

Instantly the anxiety that enveloped Molly’s heart gradually disappeared and was replaced with a feeling of relief and happiness.

"You can sign the paper, Mother." Rose looked into her mother’s eyes, "And, you must keep this in your heart; We are not ordinary people. You are a special woman. You have a genius and successful daughter. And, don’t forget who my husband is... Collins. So don’t worry about something unimportant. You just have to be yourself. Be a good mother to a good wife and me to my father...."

Molly took the pen that Nick was still holding. She immediately signed the marriage registration form without hesitation.

Chapter 272: Congratulations, Brother!

How happy Nicholas Spencer was when he saw the woman he love finally sign their marriage registration form. Just one more step, the woman guarding his heart will be his, ultimately. Nothing will ever separate them.

After seeing Molly finish signing, Nicholas Spencer quickly called someone.

Moments later, a tall man wearing a black suit was already standing by the door. Immediately he entered the room and bowed slightly to Edward Spencer and Nicholas Spencer.

"Logan, bring this paper to legalize it faster. I want to receive my marriage book tomorrow morning. And, for the picture, you can use the picture I sent you before...." Nicholas gave orders to one of his confidants, Logan Ellis.

"Yes, chief! I will arrange everything according to your order."

After giving Logan Ellis the paper, Nicholas Spencer arranged dinner for everyone.

But before that, he made sure his wife rested because he could see how tired Molly was. She had been awake and talking for too long when she had just woken up from her coma. Her condition has not fully recovered. Even though the wounds on her body had started to dry up but still not completely healed. She still needs plenty of time to rest to recover faster. And tomorrow, she will also begin to have lengthy therapy for walking and general mobility. Because during her coma, her muscle function has not returned to normal. She needs practice for quite a long time.

Soon Rose and the others were sitting at the dining table outside Molly’s wardroom.

The four of them enjoyed their dinner. Then, the rest of Spencer’s extended family and friends joined in, including Evan’s parents and Uncle Marcel.

Everyone comes after receiving news that Molly Wilson has woken up from her coma. But they had to be disappointed as they couldn’t see Molly in person. She was already resting by the time they arrived and entered the room. Nicholas Spencer was so protective that they wouldn’t disturb her rest, so he forbade them to see Molly.

Rose, sitting between her grandfather and husband, secretly smiled at her aunt. Amanda Spencer protested against her father, who sat opposite them.

"Second Brother, may I wait here tonight? If I sleep here, I will meet my sister-in-law when she wakes up..." Amanda Spencer still hoped her brother would give her a chance.

"Amanda! Did you not understand what I said earlier? You can’t see her now. My wife is asleep, and I don’t want her sleep disturbed. It would be better if you come back tomorrow to see her." Nicholas’ voice was soft but firm, and Amanda could only grit her teeth silently.

She knew there was no point in asking her second brother again. This man is known to have a firm stand in every situation. Even their father couldn’t do anything about his attitude. The nature of her second brother is different from her first brother, who always follows whatever she asks.

"Wait! Nick, did you say "MY WIFE"? Wow, you’re moving really fast, aren’t you!?" Marcel Quinn still couldn’t believe what he was hearing. His first brother married Molly Wilson the moment Molly woke up from her coma. Damn! This guy wastes no time and is very efficient, eh?

"Brother, is that true?!! Are you guys really married?!" Anthony Collins was also surprised to hear that. Almost everyone in the room looked at Nicholas with confused and curious eyes.

Nicholas looked at Marcel and Anthony before he replied, "Well, we’ve already signed our marriage papers, so legally tomorrow Molly will be my wife... you guys can congratulate us tomorrow if you want. But not now and not tonight."

"Wow! Okay then. Let me Congratulate you first, the first brother..." Marcel Quinn immediately stood up from his chair while raising his thumb to compliment Nicholas. Followed by congratulations from other people in the room.

Instantly the dining room was filled with warm chatter, making the dinner atmosphere change like a wedding dinner celebration.

While the others were busy eating and chatting, Rose was quietly enjoying her dinner. However, she immediately turned her head to look at her grandfather, "Grandfather, thank you!" Rose whispered.

"For what?" Edward Spencer places his spoon on the plate and looks toward his granddaughter beside him.

"For accepting my mother as your daughter-in-law. Moreover, my mother doesn’t come from a powerful family in this country like Spencer...."

"Silly little girl! Have you seen grandpa like that? As a parent, I never force my children to look at other people by their wealth, family, and what they do!? But, I asked them to find a partner because of what is in their heart. I thought your father was gay all this time, and I had prepared myself to accept that..." He pauses to drink his water before continuing, "So, Little girl, you don’t have to worry about my acceptance of your mother. I will accept your mother, as your dad accepts and loves her. That’s enough for grandpa..."

Instantly Rose felt touched by her grandfather’s words. She nodded happily and then continued her dinner again in silence, but in her heart, she was thrilled.

Nicholas, who sat opposite his father, heard what he said. It made him feel happy. He was so delighted that he couldn’t stop smiling. His life is now complete. He has a wife and a daughter. Soon he will also have a grandson. Right now, there was nothing more he wanted. Because his life is so perfect.

If his wife recovered, there were many things he wanted to do with her to make up for the time they missed. He tried to take her around Astington and the world to see the beauty of this earth. He also intends to resign from his office. He wants to spend time with his wife.

But the question is, will his father allow him to leave his current position?

It makes him worry about talking with his father. But he will find time to talk. He hopes his father will understand.

Chapter 273: Sleep Alone

Ten days had passed since Molly Wilson had woken up from a coma.

Rose spent a lot of time in the hospital. She patiently accompanied her mother through various therapies. But even though Rose was busy at the hospital, she didn’t neglect her company, the Wilson Group. Her company’s business is increasing and needs more attention from her. She always stopped by her office, even if only briefly. Or, even if she couldn’t, she would talk to Oliver or the others over the phone.

There was progress in the game development division, King Game Company. The company will be launching a new game in a few weeks, which makes Rose very excited because Oliver’s team was able to make a Game like never before. She gave them cheats from a future game she had played.

Other companies, such as Rapid Realty, are currently in the recovery phase after taking over the old management. She would not rush to restore the glory of this company. She had grand plans to turn this bankrupt company into the Wilson Group’s most significant source of income.

Over the past ten days, the Spencers had visited Molly Wilson frequently in the hospital. Molly Wilson didn’t take long to become close and comfortable with her husband’s family, especially her chatty and enthusiastic sister-in-law Amanda Spencer. Not only can Amanda comfort her, but Jayson Spencer’s wife, Emily Stearn. She immediately liked Emily Stearn because she was like her sister, Doris Stearns.

Rose is delighted with her mother, who is getting closer to her father’s family. Now her mother has a new friend. After so many years, she lost her friends because she was too busy caring for her daughter while her friends were busy pursuing their careers. Gradually, one by one, all her college friends disappeared from her mother’s life.

This morning Molly Wilson was out of the hospital.

Even though Molly Wilson is now officially the wife of Nicholas Spencer, Rose wants her mother to stay one night in Little Heaven. It’s the house she bought for her mother before her father takes her into the Spencers’ place as his wife. Tomorrow morning, they will hold a wedding reception there.

The family released no official announcement of Nicholas Spencer’s marriage. The wedding will only be attended by family members.

In fact, Rose didn’t tell her best friend about her mother’s marriage at all. Because she didn’t want her identity as Nicholas Spencer’s daughter to be known. It’s not time for them to know. Not yet.

And tonight was her mother’s first and last night staying at the house she bought for her. They were going to have dinner with her family and Evan’s family. And, of course, his father invited his best friend, Uncle Marcel Quinn.

Rose stood on the balcony staring at the open sea before her eyes. That afternoon, the air was so cool that she had forgotten how long she had been standing alone when the sky was still bright until it slowly began to dim as the sun started to set.

"What are you looking at?"

Rose heard Evan’s voice right behind her and suddenly a light coat hung over her shoulders. A faint smile appeared on her lips as Evan’s arms wrapped around her waist. He hugged her from behind.

She slowly turned her head to see Evan’s face on her shoulder. His face was so close to hers that she could feel his high nose rubbing against hers. It made her heart flutter with their intimacy.

"Sea! This noon the sea looked calm... so pretty!" Rose turned her gaze again to look at the sea.

"Would you like to walk in the forest behind the villa?"

"Do we still have time?" Rose glanced at her watch. "I don’t think so. Dinner will be served in an hour. Looks like the others have arrived, right?"

"Hmm... I can hear the others chatting downstairs."

"We have to go down to join them now..."

"There’s no need to rush. My family’s conversation is too boring as usual. Let’s enjoy our moment here, my dear wife!"

Rose laughed at his words. Oh my gosh, this man!

"How did you feel after mom recovered? And come back home?" Evan asked.

"My feelings right now cannot be expressed in words! I’m very grateful. Now my mother is healthy and can carry out her routine as usual..." Rose paused for a moment to take a deep breath. "Hubby, I’m sorry that what happened to my mom messed up many of our plans." Moreover, their honeymoon plans were forced to be canceled. Only one night, they taste the sweetness of their honeymoon in Tuscany.

"Hey! Didn’t I tell you often not to apologize about that?" Evan tightened his embrace and kissed the top of her hair.

Rose couldn’t help but smile at his protest.

"Wife, let’s go downstairs...." Evan turned Rose to face him. He kissed her on the lips before taking her to meet their family.

"Husband, wait!" Rose stopped her husband.

"What’s the matter, wife?" Evan was worried, seeing his wife’s eyes shaking as if she was hesitant to say something to him.

"This is about...." Rose’s tongue was slightly numb.

"Come on. Say it..."

"Hubby... mm-mmm tonight I want to sleep with my mother. For the last time before mom moved into my father’s house. So, I hope tonight you don’t mind sleeping alone...." Since this morning, Rose had been thinking about this idea, but she was too worried to tell her husband; Her husband doesn’t like sleeping alone.

"Of course, I don’t mind, wife! You can sleep with your mother..." Evan said calmly, but deep inside, he was grumbling. Tonight he will not be able to sleep well again.

Rose was astonished looking at Evan in the eyes. She thought this man would show his tantrum as usual. But this time not. She was amazed to see him becoming more understanding.

"Thank you, my handsome hubby!" Rose’s wide smile spread across her glowing face as she followed Evan downstairs to meet their family.

Chapter 274: Pregnant!?

When Rose arrived in the living room, she saw her father and mother sitting side by side. With them were Evan’s parents and Uncle Marcel.

To her surprise, she also saw her Aunt Amanda Spencer sitting with Sam and Gavin and her father’s aide, Uncle Logan Ellis, on the other side of the living room.

Speaking of Logan Ellis, in the last few days Rose became close to him when Uncle Logan helped her legally change her name, they often met for paperwork purposes. She likes Uncle Logan because he has a similar personality to Sam. They love to talk and gossip. Gosh!

All the family and friends seemed to be chatting happily. So that no one noticed that Rose and Evan had appeared in the room.

Rose immediately sat beside her mother before greeting her in-laws and uncle Marcel. She also waved to Aunty Amanda and the others.

"Mom..." She wrapped her arms around her mother’s arms and lay her head on her shoulder while everyone’s eyes looked at her. At first, she ignored everyone, but their eyes grew sharper on her. She felt uncomfortable. "Why are you guys looking at me like that?" Finally, she asks, curious why they are staring at her.

"My daughter, you look pale... Are you not feeling well?" Molly anxiously asked while placing her hand on her daughter’s forehead. However, when her hand touched her daughter’s skin, she could feel her daughter’s temperature was normal.

Rose lifted her head from her mother’s shoulder and looked at her with a confused look. "Mom? I’m fine..."

"Daughter, your face looks pale..." Nicholas was also worried about his daughter.

What’s this? Am I so pale that mom and dad look worried?

Rose became even more confused. She feels fine. Before leaving her bedroom, she checked her appearance and was sure her face didn’t look pale.

Why did they suddenly think she was sick?

Seeing how her mother and father looked at her, Rose felt suspicious that something was behind their question.

Then, she slowly turns her gaze to Evan, asking him, "Do I look pale?" She whispers.

"Wife, you look fine..." He replied to her in his whisper.

Rose had correctly guessed something fishy here.

"Wow! Mom, Dad, just tell me what you want to know?" Rose smiled, but her smile suddenly disappeared when she heard her mother-in-law’s question.

"Daughter-in-law, is there something there already?" Doris pointed at Rose’s belly with beaming eyes as if she had just seen a diamond lay before her eyes. Her smile grew wider as she waited for Rose to answer the excellent news she desperately wanted to hear.

Rose was silent, trying to process what her mother-in-law said.

Does my mother-in-law ask if I have eaten something or not?

Well, since this afternoon, she hasn’t eaten anything. So, right now, of course, her stomach is still empty. Even now, she was starting to feel hungry.

Just before Rose was about to tell them she was hungry and urge them to start dinner, she suddenly heard her mother’s voice say something that made her tongue numb and her whole body tense up.

"When was the last time you had your period?" Molly whispered to her daughter. She could feel at this time her little daughter didn’t understand what they were trying to ask her.

Rose was utterly speechless. She slowly looked at her parents, Evan’s parents, and Marcel’s uncle. They all looked at her curiously. Instantly she felt very embarrassed.

Have they run out of topics to discuss pregnancy issues? Gosh!

"Well, sorry to say, but I’m not pregnant. Not yet!" Rose smiled bitterly at the disappointment on their faces. Especially her mother and Evan’s mother.

Rose can’t give them grandchildren yet, as she and Evan have agreed not to have children for the next two years. They wanted to spend time together before having children. But they didn’t share this plan with anyone else, especially their parents.

Doris looked at her son with a piercing gaze, "Son! Is the thing between your legs normal? Why is your wife not yet pregnant?"

Rose *...*

Evan *...*

Everyone was shocked. This graceful and gentle woman was able to utter such sharp words?

Nicholas Spencer cleared his throat at Doris’s words. He felt sorry for his son-in-law. "Sis, Doris... calm down. They are just married, don’t force them to have kids immediately. Let them enjoy their own time..."

"Yes, my wife! My son is healthy. He can definitely get his wife pregnant. Just be patient. They will soon give us a cute little grandchild... right son?" Anthony stopped talking after seeing Doris glare sharply.

"Hahaha, I know, I know. Sorry, son. Your lonely mother didn’t force you, but I was just asking..." Doris smiled at Evan and Rose before shifting her gaze to Anthony sitting beside her. Her face instantly darkened, "Anthony Collins! Stop calling me that..." Doris was annoyed.

"Call what?" asked Anthony looking confused.

"Wife!"

"But, you are my wife..." He paused when he saw her frown. "Well, legally still my wife!"

Doris Stearns could only take a deep breath. She hated the man who had betrayed her all this time. She thinks the signed divorce paper is already processed. But apparently, the piece was still tightly locked in his vault. And technically, their status is still husband and wife.

She had asked him to process, but this man ignored her. And what angered her, even more, was that when she told her son about this, her son agreed with his father’s idea that they should remain husband and wife. Now her son and this man are teaming up to win her heart again.

"My wife and I are not planning on having children in the next 2 years. So please don’t ask again. I will let you all know if my wife is pregnant." Evan’s low voice sounded cold, making all eyes look at him in shock.

Rose, who had been silent for a long time, could feel the disappointment of her mother and mother-in-law. Instantly she felt terrible.

Chapter 275: Another Guest?

Everyone was silent for a moment, with their eyes on Evan and Rose. It made Rose feel awkward and uncomfortable with their gazes.

Rose brought her head closer to Evan and whispered, "Hubby! Why did you tell them about that? You should not!" Her voice was low, but Evan sensed his wife was angry. "Look... what have you done? My mother and your mother are now disappointed. You don’t have to tell them about it, do you!? Now, I don’t know what to say to them...."

Evan realized his mistake. But now, he couldn’t do anything about it. Their parents already knew. All he could do now was shut up his mouth tightly and say nothing more, afraid he would upset his wife and parents.

Suddenly Amanda Spencer joined them and stood behind Nicholas Spencer. She came at the right time to break the awkwardness between them. "Brothers, Sisters, should we take our dinner now? This is almost 7 PM." She asked cheerfully. Greeted with nods by everyone present, especially Rose. She was starving and wanted to distract their parents from talking about pregnancy.

Nicholas Spencer looked at his watch, "Wait a moment. We are still waiting for other guests...."

"Brother Nick, you invited our first brother and his family too?" Amanda asked. She thought tonight only the Wilsons and Collins would be here for dinner. Actually, she wasn’t invited to tonight’s event either. She just happened to be here as a wedding planner to discuss tomorrow’s wedding with her sister-in-law.

"Dad, you invited someone else? Who?" Rose looked surprised. She looked at her mother, "Mom, do you know who?"

"I don’t know. Your father arranged everything."

Before Nicholas could answer, his cell phone rang. He smiled as he stood up from his seat. "I’ll be back in a minute."

While waiting for her father to pick up the mysterious guest he invited, Rose suddenly remembered Evan’s parents’ relationship. She is curious about their similar relationship with Tom and Jerry, the classic cartoon she watched as a child. Sometimes they get along, but sometimes they are like sworn enemies. But she could see from their eyes that there was still a warm spark between them during their bickering. It’s undoubtedly a sign that they still love each other.

"Hubby, aren’t your mom and dad divorced? Why did your dad say they’re still husband and wife?" Rose asked quietly. Only she and Evan could hear her voice.

Evan chuckled as he looked at his curious little wife. He took her hand and squeezed it gently before he replied, "Well, father never submitted their divorce papers to the civil registry. I also just found out a few days ago."

Rose was stunned to hear that. "Wah! I never thought your dad would have the nerve to do that." She silently smiled as she looked at Anthony Collins respectfully. This cunning old man, how could he hide this from her mother-in-law!?

"Hubby, are you happy to know they are still husband and wife?" Rose knew that in recent years Evan had resented his parents for their divorce without discussing it with him.

"Sure! I never agreed to their divorce. Because I can feel they still love each other but are too afraid to admit it." Evan said while shaking his head slowly.

The shadow of the dark days when his parents separated still haunts him. He was thrilled until his mother told him about this a few days ago. Slowly, his anger toward his parents disappeared.

He even asked his father not to process the documents and supported them in getting back together. He knew very well that his mother still liked his father, and he knew that the reason his mother was angry was only a trivial matter. However, his father was too stupid to irritate his mother even more and let her out of Collins’s house.

Sometimes Evan gets tired of dealing with his parents, who look like teenagers just starting a relationship. They are very immature.

"But, doesn’t your father already have a new wife?" Rose had heard that Anthony Collins had a new woman, a former model. But until now, she had never seen that woman, nor had Evan ever told her anything about his stepmother.

Evan’s face hardened at Rose’s question. This was the kind of conversation he hated the most, talking about that bitch. Because that lowly woman was the source of his mother’s heartache and gave up on his father.

"They never married. That woman was just the woman my father needed to express his lust!!" Evan’s face darkened, and his eyes flashed with deep anger. "That woman will never be Mrs. Collins to replace my mother... never in this life!"

All this time, Evan hated the woman and his father. But a few days ago, he heard something shocking. The woman is his father’s tool to make his mother jealous and return again. But it turned out that his father was too stupid; Because his mother felt angry and disappointed, she ran away from his foolish father.

Evan truly understands that his father is a genius in business, but his father has a fatal flaw. He is foolish in terms of winning a woman’s heart, especially his wife. Evan didn’t want the tangled relationship between his mother and father to repeat itself in his relationship with Rose. He would never misunderstand his wife. Never!

"Oh my... their story could make my head spin," Rose murmurs, feeling weird. "No wonder I never met that woman..."

"I’ll never let you meet that bitch..." Evan’s voice was cold, which surprised Rose. She felt stunned, looking at how annoyed Evan was with that woman.

Later...

Rose could hear a few steps from the entrance. Immediately, she turned her gaze toward the door and was surprised to see her father enter the room with Uncle Jamie and Noah Stone walking behind him.

Rose was surprised to see them, and Molly Wilson was also surprised. How do they know about this dinner? She didn’t tell them.
