Ch. 426..430: Rebirth_ Dancing In My Destiny Chapter 426-430
Chapter 426: She Know
"Sean Spencer!! You’re such an idiot!" Annoyed, Evan cursed Sean. He had no idea what Sean was thinking; He knew Carla liked him because of his last name, but that idiot still wanted to go out with her. He is totally foolish!
"Did something happen after that?" Evan asks.
"Yes! After that, Lady Boss immediately canceled her meeting with Oliver. She asked me to take her home. When she got home, she went straight to her room and didn’t come out again until dinner. And, the next day, she decided to return to her parent’s house...." Oscar reported everything he knew.
Evan’s face darkened at Oscar’s explanation. He never imagined that his wife would meet that woman in that place. And what worried him the most was why his wife’s mood changed after they met!? His wife even canceled her meeting!
Something must have happened when they met. What’s that!? He wanted to know.
"Do you have the CCTV footage??" Evan was worried that Carla would say something to Rose.
"Yes, I have. And it looks like that woman provoked the lady boss."
Instantly Evan’s heart hardened.
Did Carla know Rose was his wife?
This question bothers Evan, but again he doubts it. Because his marriage to Rose remains unpublished. Only family and certain people know.
Who told Carla about that? Suddenly Sean’s face flashed in my mind.
It must be Sean who leaked the news!!
"Oscar, finish your work," Evan said and ended the call.
At this moment, Evan really wanted to beat Sean.
He felt irritated.
While he is still busy investigating the assault case in Brooklyn a few days ago and handling the kidnapping of Keira and his wife, another problem arises.
Why did all these troubles come together!?
Whoever tried to mess with him, he would make sure to find him wherever he was hiding.
Evan returned to the room to check on Rose. He saw her still sleeping soundly.
He stood by the bed for a few moments, staring at the only woman he ever loved in her sleep. How beautiful she was. Her face looked like an angel’s.
Just watching her sleep could stir something below there. Evan couldn’t help but scold himself in his heart, trying to distract his sultry thoughts. He decided to take a cold shower. He couldn’t release his needs because his surgery wasn’t completely healed yet. And also, his wife’s hand still hurts.
He dragged his heavy legs toward the bathroom. One by one, he took off his shirt and pants. He stood in front of the mirror for a while to see the wound on his stomach. It is covered in bandages.
"Can you recover quickly?" Evan talks to himself. This wound is so troublesome. He had to be extra careful not to let his wife learn about this injury.
After closing the bandage with a special tape to prevent water incursion, he took a cold shower to calm his mind.
Later...
After taking a shower, he dried his hair. Before he wanted to put on his clothes, he heard the bathroom door open.
Evan was surprised to see Rose standing in the doorway. He grabbed the closest bathrobe and quickly put it on. Hoping Rose didn’t see the bandage on his stomach. But, of course, what he wished for did not happen — she already saw his wound.
When Rose walked into the bathroom, she was stunned to see Evan wearing only black shorts. But, as soon as her eyes caught a white bandage on his stomach, her heart almost stopped. Evan’s got hurt!?
She walked towards him with her shaky legs. Her beautiful brown frowning slightly as her eyes stared at his stomach, which was now covered in a bathrobe.
"H-Hubby, you got hurt?" She lifted her head to meet his eyes. No need to wait for Evan to answer her. She knew the answer right away. She could see his eyes trembling to look at her; he was nervous.
Evan opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
Rose, feeling scared, lowered her eyes and forced off his bathrobe. As his stomach was exposed, she could clearly see the bandages. Her hands were shaking when she tried to touch his abs.
"Evan Collins, be honest with me. How did you injure your abs? And why are you hiding this from me?" Her sharp eyes lost their usual light, making Evan feel even more guilty seeing the various emotions in her eyes. He could see anger, fear, and panic from there.
He couldn’t hide this from her anymore.
"Wife, I will tell you everything, but let me get my clothes first. You can wait outside." Evan took her hand and led her out of the bathroom. After that, he immediately put on his shirt and pants. Then, he joined her in the seating area.
Evan tried to appear calm, but inside he was scolding himself for being too stupid. He should have locked the bathroom before showering. Damn!
"Explain to me, how did you get hurt?" Rose asked in a trembling voice as soon as Evan sat beside her. "Please don’t hide anything. I’ll be mad if you do this again!"
Evan held her hand before explaining, "While I was on the road, our car had an accident. Luckily I only had minor injuries, but several people in my party were badly injured." Even though Evan’s tone was normal, every word he said made Rose’s body stiffen and feel scared.
"T-Then... then... How is everyone? Are they all right now?"
"Hmm... they’ve all been treated by doctors and have recovered. Don’t worry, wife, all of them are still alive..." Evan explained calmly. He had no intention of telling her what really happened. Because if she found out, she would definitely panic.
"Hubby, you can’t go home on schedule because of this incident?" Instantly Rose felt guilty for suspecting him. She was immature and jealous for no reason.
"Even though my injuries weren’t too bad, I couldn’t leave the others behind. So, I delayed my return for a day. Please don’t be sad. I’m fine. Your husband is strong... this wound is nothing."
When he saw her nodding tearfully, he continued, "I wasn’t honest with you. I was afraid you’d be worried if I told you over the phone. Please forgive me...."
"Evan, this time, I forgive you. But you must tell me immediately if anything happens to you next time. You know how strong I am."
"I promise!"
Chapter 427: New Year’s Eve (1)
The sun had just set over the horizon when Rose woke up from sleep.
Her smile grew wider when she saw Evan still sleeping beside her. One of his hands supported her head. His face was facing the ceiling. She could clearly see how long and thick his eyelashes were, perfect.
Rose didn’t dare to move for fear he would wake up.
For a moment, she satisfies her eyes on his handsome profile. Still, soon curiosity kicks in — she wants to take another look at his wound. Slowly she raised her hand to lift his clothes. But before she could, her hand was grabbed by him.
"Are you impatient to see me naked?" His hoarse voice made Rose blush with embarrassment. She pressed her lips tightly when he pinched her nose. "Wife, let’s get ready." He laughs, looking at how adorable she is now.
Soon, Evan wakes up and helps her to wake up too. "I think they’ve been waiting for us since earlier. I hear someone keeps knocking on the door..."
"Really?" Rose was surprised. She didn’t hear anything.
"Wifey, you slept so well. And I couldn’t bear to wake you up." He said while helping her out of bed.
Rose let out a low sigh as she woke up.
"I guess so. Hubby, is it because of the medicine I’ve been taking lately?" She looked at him with concern. "Lately, I often feel sleepy and hungry." Another long sigh escaped her mouth before continuing, "And now, I feel my weight is getting heavier."
"Ms. Collins, it doesn’t matter to me if you gain weight..." Evan smiled while he tried to observe her body.
He could see some parts of her curves, especially her chest, which was more prominent than before. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the naughty thoughts starting to stir up his mind.
"Hubby, hopefully, my dress size still fits, or you have to buy a new size that can fit me..." she muttered as she entered the walk-in closet.
"Don’t worry, my dear. I need to call Aunt Amanda. She will send you the clothes you need right away...." He smiled. She just smiled back at him and didn’t say a word.
Rose was grateful when her mother and father made a unique walk-in closet for her in this house. The room is dominated by white and gold color with a modern design. Tall wardrobes surround the room, and there is a large rectangular shelf in the middle for storing accessories and other small items.
All cupboards and shelves are filled with new dresses, bags, shoes, and accessories from several well-known brands. Not only did Rose’s parents provide for her, but they also provided clothes for Evan.
"Wife, you sit on that sofa...." He pointed to the sofa at the end of the room by the glass wall. "Let me find clothes for you..."
Rose just smiled and nodded. She wanted to see what kind of clothes he would choose for her.
Evan began to open several cupboards looking for clothes that fit her. It didn’t take him long to return to Rose. His hand was full with; white satin sleeveless shirt, pale pink wool coat, oversize white winter coat, pink wool scarf, and beanie the same color as the scarf.
Rose was dumbfounded. Did he think they were going to climb the mountain?
"Wife, you should wear thicker clothes. It’s getting colder tonight..." He placed all the cloth on the sofa near her. "You don’t have to change your pants, I guess!"
"Why do I have to wear that thick? Is the heather down there not working?" Rose chuckled.
"Oh? You didn’t know? Tonight your dad is setting up a backyard barbecue. So, we’ll have dinner out there..."
"Really? I don’t know. Wow, it would be nice to have a barbeque outside..." Rose can’t wait. This will be her first time spending New Year’s Eve with all her family. "Do the Spencer and Collins families always get together for New Year’s Eve like this?" She knew how close the Collins and Spencer families were.
"Yes, every year. But by turns, if this year at Spencer’s, next year at Collins’."
"Hubby, let’s host next year at our house. It would be awesome to have a garden party in our backyard. Well, you’re Collins, so that’s fine right?" She could imagine how beautifully they decorated their home and backyard for the following year’s party.
"Sure, my love. We will be hosting the party next year. Grandfather would be pleased...." Evan smiled.
Evan suddenly remembered when his parents were still together; every time there was a big event, they always held it at his house. And alternating it with Collins’s main house, where his grandfather lived. And those were the good memories that were still lingering in his mind.
Now he will create new happy memories with her and their future child at their home at Misty Mountain. Suddenly Evan was stunned. For some reason, something stuck in his heart when he thought of their child. In a hurry, he diverted his mind as he helped her change clothes.
"Okay, you are ready now, my wife!" Evan saw his little wife in all the clothes he had chosen for her. His smile widened when he saw her adorable face. She was too cute wearing a pink beanie. "You look pretty!"
When Rose saw her figure in the mirror, she nearly choked. "Gosh! No, I can’t wear all of these. I look twice as big as usual...." She took off her white winter coat and the pink wool scarf.
"I think this is better..." She glanced at Evan, who was standing behind her. "What do you think?"
"Yeah, my wife looks so gorgeous. But if you feel cold, you must tell me...." He pulled her into his arms. Moments later, he let her go after kissing her forehead gently.
"Oh, I will."
Rose is happy to meet the rest of her family downstairs. She followed Evan out of the bedroom with light steps.
Chapter 428: New Year’s Eve (2)
When Rose and Evan arrived in the living room, most of the family was in the room, chatting happily. Divided into two groups, men on the sofa near the fireplace and women in chairs near the television. Rose joined the women and sat down next to her mother.
She was in a good mood because Oliver had sent her a text message a few minutes ago to let her know he was on his way here with James and Danny. They’d probably arrive in five minutes.
"Mom, I invited my friends Oliver and the others to join us. Can you prepare dinner for them, too?" whispered Rose.
Molly was surprised. Her daughter invited her office friends, "Sure. How many?"
"Three. You know Danny and James. They’re my college friends. They are now the directors at the Wilson group...." When she saw her mother nod, she continued, "So they’ll be coming with Oliver."
"You did a good job inviting them to come. They must not have time to return to East City, right?"
"Yes, mom. They’ve been working hard since joining my company, and Wilson Group has made great progress this year. So, I was thinking of treating them when they are around. Tonight, they will come here straight from the office. I feel bad for them because I never had the chance to help them with their work when I was injured. I am grateful they continue to do their best when I’m not around. They helped me greatly to take my mind away from work and help expedite my recovery. So... yeah, I invited them to come..."
Rose smiled at her mother before continuing, "I hope you don’t mind me inviting them."
If it weren’t for Oliver and the others, the Wilson Group wouldn’t have grown so fast. Next year, they have made many plans to further the company’s development.
And if Evan announces their marriage, she doesn’t need to feel inferior to him anymore because her company can be considered a new company with huge potential.
She has something to be proud of for standing side by side with Evan Collins.
She deserves to be Evan Collins’ wife not because of her last name ’Spencer’ but because she is also a businesswoman and the founder of the Wilson Group.
While Rose and Molly were chatting, a few miles from Nicholas Spencer’s house, a black Mercedes SL Class pulled up at the checkpoint.
Oliver, who was driving the black Mercedes, smiled politely at the guard beside his car before he said, "Hello, I’m Oliver Hester, guest of Miss Rose Spencer..."
This is Oliver’s first visit to Rose’s father’s residence, and he is stunned to see the guard carrying a gun. It wasn’t just one guard that he saw, but more than four guards within the guardhouse.
This place is heavily guarded. Before arriving at this checkpoint, they had passed the guard post twice a few miles back before entering the North Hills area, known as the Spencer family’s residence. In this private area, only certain people could enter. Visitors who do not have a permit cannot enter this place.
"Mr. Hester, you may proceed. About a mile from here, you will see a three-story white house. You can park your car in the parking area. Someone will pick you up at the main gate." The tall guard said politely.
"Thank you, sir..." Oliver smiled. As the car pulled away, he heard James and Danny making a loud scene — before, the two guys had been silent when they arrived at the checkpoint.
James, who was sitting beside Oliver, shouted, "Shit! I did not expect to set foot in the North Hills." He was amazed to be able to enter this restricted area. He had heard this place was a beautiful private estate owned by the Spencer Family. They are the owner of the entire Northern Hills District—the forest area in the city.
Danny, in the back seat, chuckled, "Indeed. I want to see this area during the day. It will be stunning. Damn it!! Look to the right... the city looks amazing from up here." He saw the lights coming out of the tall buildings in the middle of the city that looked amazing from where they were.
Oliver glanced to his right, and he also agreed with Danny. The view is stunning. Unfortunately, this place is not a public place. Only residents have the privilege of enjoying the city view.
"Oliver, please focus on driving!" said James.
"Relax! The streets are empty. What are you afraid of?" He smirked.
"Man, I’m just saying!" James laughed but deep in his heart, he was afraid that a wild beast would appear in the middle of the road. "This road is empty. It’s a bit creepy. Since we entered North Hill street, not a single vehicle has passed...."
"Yes! This is a private place. I think they are all at their house for dinner, right? After all, it’s New Year’s Eve...." Oliver said, focusing on seeing the empty road ahead.
Danny suddenly thought of something, "Oliver, are you sure Rose invited us? It’s a family dinner, and it feels weird for us to suddenly show up at the Spencer family dinner." This afternoon he was surprised when Oliver told him that Rose had invited them to join New Year’s Eve dinner at her parents’ place.
"Danny, I don’t think so. Rose invited us to her parent’s house instead of Spencer’s main house. I’m sure Old Spencer and the others will not join them, right Oliver?" James said.
Oliver had no idea if the entire Spencer family, including Keira’s, would be at Rose’s house tonight. But, hearing James’ words, he felt nervous. Will he meet Keira?
"I don’t know either..." Oliver said calmly, but his heart rate increased.
"Man, we’ll see later..." Danny said excitedly. "I think it would be even more awesome if we could have dinner with the whole Spencer family."
Oliver listens in silence when James and Danny talk. His mind was busy imagining what he would do if he met Keira tonight.
He felt increasingly uneasy seeing Rose’s parents’ house getting closer. He’s imagining Keira’s request to break up with him a few days ago instantly made his chest feel heavy.
Now a big question arose in his mind; did he make the right choice in coming here?
Chapter 429: New Year’s Eve (3)
Before long, Oliver parked his car in a large parking lot in front of the house. At the same time, a man in a black suit approached them.
The man in the black suit was the butler at the Nicholas Spencer residence. He greeted Oliver respectfully, "Mr. Oliver Hester!?"
"Yes. I’m."
"This way, sir..." The butler led the way after smiling at Danny and James.
Danny and James followed behind Oliver. But they are both distracted by what they see. They couldn’t hide their surprise when several luxury cars they rarely saw parked neatly near Oliver’s car.
"Damn, Man! I think we’re not the only guests who were invited to this dinner." Danny whispered to James.
James nodded. He recognized the identical car numbers reserved for high-ranking military and state officials, clearly belonging to the rest of the Spencer family.
"Yupe! I thought so too." James answered.
Oliver, who was walking in front, clearly heard their conversation. By now, he was sure the entire Spencer family gathered here, and Keira would be inside.
The farther Oliver entered the house, the faster his heartbeat racked his nerves. Is he nervous? Obviously, he was distraught now. Oliver couldn’t help but scold Rose in his heart, "This is stupid, boss!! How can you invite me without telling me about this?"
If only Rose had told him earlier, he would have prepared himself. Now it was too late to escape from this place. His heart was getting restless, too worried that Keira would ask to break up again.
After walking through a long corridor and several rooms, they finally arrived at a large and luxurious living room at the back of the house with a partially glass wall surrounding it.
Oliver and the others were amazed to see familiar faces in the room. They saw Rose’s parents, aunts, uncles, and grandfather. Among them, there was also the Collins family.
But Oliver was slightly upset because he didn’t see Keira in the room. Is she not coming?
They didn’t join in right away, just standing at the entrance feeling awkward. Until Rose saw them. She immediately stood up.
"Oliver, James, Danny... welcome. What are you guys doing there? Come in, join us here..." She stood and walked toward them. She pulled Oliver inside.
After a short greeting with all the elders, Rose invited them to sit on a sofa by the large glass wall with a stunning view of the city at night.
"Rose Spencer, how could you? You sure know what you did has made me awkward, right?!!" Oliver glared at Rose sitting beside him. "Why didn’t you tell me it’s your big family dinner party?" This girl had tricked him. He might have reconsidered coming here if he had known the Spencer and Collins families were also at this party.
Rose, "..."
Before she answered Oliver, Danny chimed in.
"Boss, thank you for inviting us. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend this country’s most revered family event," said Danny, flattering his boss.
Danny’s eyes never left staring at Old Collins and Old Spencer, which he usually only saw on television. He also saw Jayson Spencer, one of the presidential candidates. He felt proud of himself for being here. He couldn’t wait to brag to his father and grandpa.
"Yes, boss, this is amazing!" James also feels happy to come to this party.
"Ooo P-L-E-A-S-E..." Rose rolled her eyes, looking for her ridiculous friends. "Guys, it’s just a normal dinner..."
"Hahaha, for you, yes. But for us? It’s a great opportunity. Anyway, thank you, boss..." Danny couldn’t help but laugh.
She ignored the idiot Danny and James and turned her gaze to Oliver, "Why are you mad at me? Geez... you would be thanking me later. You’ll see!!"
"How so?" Oliver crossed his arms over his chest, angry at Rose. Besides, he felt disappointed not to see Keira in this place.
Rose chuckled at the cranky Oliver. The corners of her lips curved slightly before saying, "There’s a beauty who wants to talk to you."
Oliver, who was unenthusiastic, immediately turned to her, "Who?" he frowned curiously.
"Look behind you!"
Oliver turned behind. He completely stuttered when he saw Keira and Evan walking towards them.
So, the most lovely woman who owns my heart is here?
He couldn’t blink as he stared at the girl getting closer. His hands gripped the arm of the chair. Oliver is holding himself from running toward her and pulling her into his arms.
"Oliv, I engineered this opportunity specifically for you. So, you better not waste it. Talk to her about your true feelings." Rose smiled, seeing Oliver, who couldn’t keep his eyes away from Keira without blinking. She continued, "Would you like to hear some important information?"
A low chuckle escaped Rose’s lips. She couldn’t trust this man — he might ruin this good opportunity.
Oliver turned her gaze to look at Rose, "What?"
"My little sister still loves you. So, my dear friend Oliver... if you don’t be honest with her, you could lose her forever. And I promise you, I will never help you again if you ruin this one chance!"
"D-Did she tells you about that?" Whispered Oliver with a stutter.
"Hmm! My little sister is madly in love with you..."
Suddenly Oliver’s face brightened when he heard that. This is indeed essential information. He smiled at Rose before looking at Keira, who was now standing beside his chair, "Keira, can we talk?" he asked while standing in front of her.
Keira was nervous seeing how serious Oliver was now. Her heart started beating faster than usual. However, she tried to stay calm. She didn’t answer Oliver. Instead, she looked at Rose, "Sister... Can I go upstairs to talk?"
"Hmm, sure you can." Rose smiles, "I’ll call you guys when dinner is ready..." Rose wants to tell Keira about Oliver’s feelings for her, but the stupid girl has left with Oliver.
James and Danny feel happy for Oliver. That poor guy finally made a move to Keira. However, their comfort soon vanished when they realized their love life so far. God might have been unfair to them — they are both single. How pathetic.
Chapter 430: Bloomed
On the second floor.
Keira invites Oliver to chat on the balcony, with a view of the beautiful lights of the skyscrapers that look beautiful in the distance.
Even though the night air was freezing, Keira felt her skin burning and sticky. In fact, some parts of her body felt damp from sweat. It’s coming from nervousness when standing side by side this close to Oliver.
It’s not long since Keira and Oliver met, but they miss each other so much that the feeling is intense.
Several times the sentence that she had a long string in her mind failed to escape from the tip of her tongue.
Keira forgot how often she had to scold herself for being too nervous. She hated herself for foolishly asking to break up with this man. Now her request seemed to be turned back on her—she was so afraid this man would accept her foolish wish to break up.
She secretly took a deep breath, trying to relieve the tightness in her chest. Her face was straight, looking far ahead, not daring to glance at the man beside her.
"Oh my gosh, Keira!! Stop acting like a loser. You have to say something to clear up all these misunderstandings." She scolded herself in her heart. She really didn’t understand how she had suddenly become timid. This was not like her usual decisive self.
She took another deep breath before finally having the courage to turn to look at him. She would talk to him. The sooner, the better.
But, the moment she saw him and their eyes met, her heart felt like it had stopped beating — his face was calm, but she could see a hint of worry from his gentle gaze.
Since when was he staring at her?
"Oliver, I..." Before she could finish her words, Oliver grabbed her hand and pulled her into his arms. She was shocked, but she didn’t resist him. Instead, she felt joy, being in his warm embrace. She really missed him.
"Please don’t say a word. Let me speak first..." Oliver’s voice was soft, like a beautiful string melody that spoiled her hearing. She didn’t say anything but her hands hanging by his side slowly rose and wrapped around his sturdy waist.
Oliver could feel her arms wrapped around his waist. He curled his lips into a pleasant smile, feeling happy.
"I love you, Keira Spencer. You should know that I will never agree to break up with you. Not in this life. So, you better stop asking me because my answer will always be like that!" Oliver put his hands behind her head and buried his head into her neck. He inhaled her scent, which he missed so much.
Keira was surprised to hear that. Wasn’t Oliver mad at her?
"Y-You aren’t mad at me?"
"Why would I be mad at you?" Replied Oliver with a slightly warm smile.
"I, you know, I was asking you to..." she couldn’t continue her words.
"I’m not mad at you. If anything, I’m mad at myself for putting off so long to meet you." Oliver could answer Keira more relaxed now that he knew this girl wasn’t earnest about her request.
"If I had seen you earlier, we wouldn’t have hurt each other like now," he continued.
Keira’s smile widened upon hearing his words. The fear and anxiety she had recently felt disappeared instantly. She had been wrong about Oliver all along. She always thought Oliver was annoyed with her and avoided ever meeting her again.
"I’m sorry, Oliver. After I said those words, I felt so stupid. And I regret it a lot. I feel like I’m in hell after saying that. I thought you would go along with it..." Keira stopped talking when she felt Oliver let go of her hug. His hand was still on her waist.
Their foreheads touching, she could feel his breath brushing against her face. She blushed, seeing his lips so close to her. Just before she wanted to say something, his warm lips covered hers.
Keira enjoyed Oliver’s sudden kiss. The kiss is intense. It made her breathing quicken, but she had no intention of ending it. She returned the kiss with the same emotion as him.
After a few seconds passed, their lips slowly parted.
Their eyes locked with a gaze full of love.
She blushed as their smiles bloomed.
"I love you, Keira Spencer...." He pulled her into his arms, giving her warmth. "Please forget about those unimportant matters. Let’s enjoy our happy days again, huh!?"
Keira smiled as she buried her face in his chest, "Yeah, that sounds perfect..." she tightened her hands wrapped around his waist.
"My dear Kei, do you want to go on a date this weekend? Let’s go somewhere where there’s just us...."
"I love the idea!"
"Tell me, where do you want to go?" Oliver’s mood rose to the clouds. He’s in a good mood now after he’s been so stressed out for days. He wants to go out alone with his girlfriend to avoid Danny and James, who have been making fun of him lately since his relationship with Keira is in trouble.
"Oliver, I’ll go wherever you go!" As long as she was with him, she would be happy. Like now, she just wanted to stay here with him, cuddling and kissing.
But what Keira had dreamed of vanished. Because at the same time, a familiar voice came from behind.
"Keira Spencer, you are not going anywhere. You better get down now!" Evan Collins stood a few steps from the love bird, still hugging tightly. His face was expressionless, but his sharp eyes made Keira shudder. "You better hide this guy, or my beloved uncle will lock you up." He grinned while pointing at Oliver. "You know what I mean, right!?" He said, then left them.
Keira was utterly speechless.
Gosh! Why did Rose send Evan upstairs to call them?
"B-Brother...wait..." Keira called Evan.
"Hurry!! If you don’t come down soon, the next person to come here is your father!" Evan said as he walked down the stairs.
