"How powerful!" The guard who captured Iris gaped.

Like his companion, he could tell that Leon was in the Peak Overlord State at best, yet Leon somehow managed to defeat the other guard easily.

After listening to what Seth's said, the remaining guard realized that Leon only managed to win with the help of the tool.

"It's your turn, now!" Seeing how Iris was captured, Leon dared not to wait another moment and darted toward the other guard at the speed of lightning.

"Kid, don't you move! Stop, or I'll destroy this woman!" The guard already knew Leon had a powerful defensive tool and instantly switched strategy to hold Iris hostage instead.

"Damn it!" Leon's expression darkened as he withdrew his spiritual energy.

Refusing to stand idly by, Leon turned and grabbed Seth, before flinging him toward the guard like a weapon.

He took a step forward and lunged himself at Seth once again, trying to use him as bait to prevent the other guards from attacking Iris.

If the guard refused to give up on attacking Iris, Leon could still capture Seth and use him to exchange hostages.

"How dare you?!" The guard was stunned. He did not know what Leon was planning but knew that he could not allow Leon to capture Seth or Iris would lose her value as leverage against Leon.

The guard had no choice but to let go of Iris and caught Seth with one arm, all the while launching another attack at Leon with another hand.

He knew that Leon had a defensive tool, but could only pray that the attack would be sufficient to force Leon into maintaining distance.

That way, he could rescue Leon while keeping Iris hostage, and Leon would not stand a chance in fighting back.

However, the reality shattered his hope.

Leon waited for this exact moment and immediately blocked the attack with the Mirror of Sovereign.

"Baam!"

The guard's power slammed against Leon's chest and since he was also in the Initial Emperor State as well, the attack did not affect Leon at all.

"Die!" Leon roared and launched a Double Attack at the guard and Seth.

The guard was prepared and immediately backed away while dragging Seth along in the hope of shaking Leon with speed.

However, he was slowed down by Seth and the combination of Leon's true and spiritual power was far too unpredictable.

The guard never expected Leon to launch yet another attack so soon after the first one and though he managed to dodge the first wave of spiritual energy, Leon's second wave of true energy still managed to hit its target.

"Baam!"

Both the guard and Seth were sent flying and the guard instantly spewed blood from his mouth but did not suffer any extreme injuries as he managed to dodge most of the attack; Seth, on the other hand, was unharmed as well because the guard shielded him from Leon.

"Damn it!" The two lay sprawled across the ground for a moment, before fumbling to get up with dark expressions on their faces.

Realization dawned on the guard that he fell into Leon's trap, but it was too late and he was lucky to have rescued Seth.

"Consider yourselves lucky!" Leon scoffed.

Worried about Iris, Leon did not go after them and hurried over to Iris instead. "Iris, are you okay?"

Iris seemed unscathed, but he was still worried and insisted on checking with her.

"I'm okay," She nodded.

"Good!" Seeing how she was unharmed, Leon sighed a breath of relief.

"Leon, we're in their territory, just let's leave as soon as possible!" Iris said.

"There's no hurry! Seth dared to kidnap you and I have to avenge you by destroying him!" Leon said maliciously and was about to stride toward Seth when Iris grabbed him by the arm.

"Don't, Leon! There are countless martial artists here and I'm sure a lot of them are in the Emperor State! Even everyone is alerted, we need to leave! Besides, Snow has been captured and she's in danger as well! We need to go and save her before it's too late!" Iris said.

Since she was no longer in danger, she swiftly regained her composure and pointed out what they should prioritize.

"That's right. Where is Snow? Who kidnapped her?" Leon jolted as he recalled that Snow was missing as well.

"She was captured by a man called Gordon!" Iris said.

"Gordon? Him?!” Leon was livid.

He thought that Snow was captured by Joel and asked for Yuri's help to look for Snow in the Hiltons' Mansion, so Leon was not overly worried about Snow.

To his bewilderment, it was not Joel, but Gordon who captured Snow.

Leon had his doubt about Gordon's involvement concerning the previous incident in Elegante Group, but let Gordon go out of respect for Darius; not only did Gordon not appreciate it, but he also plotted to capture Snow, so Leon was practically seething with anger.

"Leon, it's been some time since Snow was captured. You need to get to her before it's too late,” Iris said worriedly.

"Yeah. I know. Let's go!" Leon wrapped his arm around Iris and charged outside.

He knew that Iris was right and it was not the time for him to act on impulse.

Though he had more than enough tricks and had nothing to fear from the Golans, the Golans were a far more powerful family compared to the Scammells and the Libertons. If he insisted on hurting Seth, the Golans would have time to assemble and surround him, making it more challenging for Leon and Iris to escape.

Should that happen, Snow would remain in danger.

Rescuing Snow was their priority at the moment before anything bad happened to her, so Leon decided that he could always make Seth pay for what he did when he had the chance in the future.

"You won't get away!" Seth's eyes lit up and sneered when he saw Leon running away with Iris in his arms.

Though he had no clue as to how Leon found him, he knew that breaking into a house to injure someone was a great crime in the community of martial artists.

Not only did Leon break into the Golans Mansion, but he also injured a few members of the family and no matter the motive behind his actions, Leon was at fault.

Even if the Golans killed Leon by mistake, their actions could be justified and they would not have to worry about facing the Thompsons' wrath afterward.

In conclusion, it was the best chance for the Golans to get rid of Leon and Seth refused to let it slip.

"Noah, stall him, and don't let him get away! I'm going to gather everyone here. He isn't walking out of here alive today!" Seth commanded coldly.

"Yes!" Noah said, before darting toward Leon.

Leon was in the Peak Overlord State and could not compare with Noah in terms of speed, not to mention when he was carrying Iris.

Before he had the chance to get out of the yard, Noah caught up with him.

"Take this, kid!* Noah roared, before launching a punch from behind Leon's back.

"Damn, you!" Leon was furious.

He was already on the edge of an outburst since Seth captured Iris, and Seth should have considered himself lucky that Leon was in a hurry to leave to rescue Snow.

Not only was Seth not grateful for the chance, but he also insisted on holding Leon in the Golans Mansion.

For a moment, Leon lost control of his anger and turned around to counter Noah's attack.

Noah knew that Leon had a defensive tool and would never face Leon directly, so he simply dodged Leon's attack with a case, before targeting Iris instead to stall Leon.

"Damn it!" Furious, Leon gave up on taking a defensive position and titled his body to face the Mirror of Sovereign toward the attack, but Noah did not fall for it and simply changed his position again.

Noah continued to skilfully attack and retreat, and since Leon fell short in speed, he could not escape Noah even though he would not get hurt under the protection of the Mirror of Sovereign.

"Ring!"

Meanwhile, Seth managed to ring the alarm in the yard to summon the other martial artists in the mansion.

All the Golans were alerted by the alarm and began to swarm toward the yard.

"Haha! Leon, you walked right into this! Let's see where you're going to run to! Once you're out of the way, I'll have your company and your woman!" Seth burst into laughter smugly.

Though Leon had a powerful defensive tool, Seth could tell that the tool's power was equivalent to the Initial or Intermediate Emperor State.

The Golans were one of the ancient lineages in the southern region, with dozens of martial artists in the Advanced and Peak Emperor States and a few in the Semi-Almighty State.

Once all the martial artists in the family assembled, it would be extremely easy to destroy Leon.

"Seth, you asked for this! If you want to die so badly, I'll make it happen!' Leon was provoked by Seth's words and since there was no time to waste, he sent Noah flying into the distance with a punch, before swallowing a Dragon Pill.

Linder the Dragon Pill's effect, Leon's power level temporarily rose to the Initial Emperor State with no rivals in the same level, and considering the acceleration in his speed, he might even stand a chance in defeating martial artists in the Intermediate Emperor State.

"Take this!" Leon roared and launched a Double Attack at the speed of lightning toward Noah.

"Running out of tricks, aren't you?" Noah sneered in contempt and backed away once again like he did earlier, knowing that Leon could not compare to him in terms of speed when he was only in the Peak Overlord State.

There was no way that Leon could ever injure him unless there was a miracle.

"Know your place, Leon!" Seth sneered and stared at Leon mockingly.

Like Noah, he was also amused by the fact that Leon insisted on facing Noah directly when he knew that he could not catch up to Noah.

However, what happened next stook the two to their cores.

Leon's punch was far superior in terms of speed and despite Noah's effort, he simply could not escape Leon as Leon's attack approached.

"Wh- What's going on?!" Noah gaped in disbelief.

He just fought Leon for a while and Leon struggled to catch up with him. Hence, Noah knew that his speed was his best advantage. To his bewilderment, Leon's power and speed seemed to have accelerated within a matter of seconds and surpassed him by miles.

Noah was stunned by the sight.

"It- It’s all or nothing!" Knowing that he could not dodge the attack, Noah struck at his best effort to cancel out Leon's attack.

"Baam!"

Leon's powerful spiritual energy tore through Noah's attack and the aftermath of his true and spiritual energy swarmed Noah.

"Snap!”

Following the crisp sound of bones snapping, Noah screamed as his arm broke.

Leon's true energy stuck him in the chest as well and he was instantly sent flying into the distance.

Agonizing pain pierced through his arm and chest and he suffered incredible damage.

"H- How's this possible?!’ Seth was stunned and widened his eyes in disbelief as he looked at Leon.

He knew that Leon was hardly Noah's match in terms of speed and explosive power, yet to his bewilderment, Leon managed to disable Noah with a single blow.

If Seth did not see this with his own eyes, he would never believe it to be true.

"Seth, it's your turn now!" Leon sneered and strode toward Seth; each step he took felt like a sledgehammer to Seth's heart.

"What are you doing? Don't come here!’ Seth backed away, the smugness on his face fading.

"What do you think? You wanted to keep me here, right? Well, I stayed as you wished! Let's see what you're capable of now!" Leon sneered in contempt and closed in on Seth.

He originally intended to spare Seth because he was in a hurry to rescue Snow, but since Seth insisted on making him stay, he saw no reason to show any mercy and planned to make Seth pay for kidnapping Iris.

"I-" Seth paled and his heart sank in remorse.

He regretted continuing to enrage Leon despite being spared once, and since Leon won, he knew that he would suffer a horrible fate at Leon's hands.

"Somebody! Help me!" Not daring to stay, Seth turned and ran as he screamed for help.

"You won't get away!’ Leon scoffed and leaped into the air to go after Seth with Iris in his arms; at the same time, he sent three daggers flying toward Seth.

"Don't!" Seth was terrified and rolled off the ground in an attempt to dodge the daggers.

However, Leon's power level rose to the Initial Emperor State, which made him far more powerful than Seth.

Though Seth reacted in time, he only managed to dodge two of the daggers, and the third dagger stabbed into the back of his knee.

Seth fumbled in pain and collapsed onto the ground in a discomfited manner.

Leon took the opportunity to catch up to him. "Seth, you despicable scum, die!" Leon lunged at Seth with a powerful strike.

"It's over!" Seth froze in fear.

"Don't you dare!"

Just then, a stern roar echoed in the air.

Two old men along with a few martial artists hurried over from the distance.

When they saw that Leon was about to attack Seth, one of the old men released his tremendous energy toward Leon in an attempt to protect Seth.

"The Peak Emperor State!’ Leon gasped when he sensed the powerful energy oozing off of the old man.

Leon was powerful enough and had no fear for his opponent, but had to leap and give up on the chance of destroying Seth out of concern that the old man would hurt Iris.

"Fourth Elder, Fifth Elder, you're finally here! I'm so glad!" Seth was overjoyed and crawled his way toward the old men frantically.

"Damn it!" Contrary to Seth's excitement, Leon's expression darkened.

Because of Seth and Noah, the other Golans were given the time to gather and a battle was about to erupt, which would only delay Leon further in his attempt to rescue Snow.

"Who are you, kid?"

"How dare you barge in here and injure our people! You must've a death wish!"

The two old men turned their attention to Leon maliciously.

They were two of the elders of the Golans and arrived with a few other skilled martial artists who were responsible for guarding the mansion.

Once Seth triggered the alarm, they were the first few who reacted right away but did not know what exactly happened.

"Fourth Elder, Fifth Elder, he's the chairman of Elegante Group, Leon Wolf,’ Seth explained.

"So that's him!"

The others nodded in realization.

News that Elegante Group was framed was known throughout the southern region and all families in the southern region were shocked when the eldest son of the Hiltons, Joel, came forward to apologize to Elegante Group.

The Golans were aware of the recent development and knew Leon was an enemy of the Hiltons. Since the Hiltons and the Golans were related, Leon was naturally seen as an enemy to them as well.

"Kid, I don't care who you are. You have one chance! You'll corporate while we take you into custody, or I'll show you no mercy!1' The Fifth Elder said coldly.

Though Leon was an enemy to the Golans and the Hiltons, he was a senior and did not wish to attack a junior, so he made a warning ahead of time to give himself an excuse to attack later on.

"As if I'd be scared of you! What a joke! Get off your high horse, old man! You should all just come at me at once and save me some time!" Leon pointed at the people before him with a contemptuous look on his face.

He was in a hurry to rescue Snow and did not have time to waste, so it would be easier if all the Golans attacked at once.

"How arrogant! I should be able to deal with a brat like you without getting help from the others!" Enraged by Leon's attitude, the Fifth Elder stepped forward.

As Leon and the Fifth Elder stared at one another, tension rose in the air.

"Fifth Elder, this kid has injured me multiple times and I want him dead! Now is the chance to do it. Destroy him and show no mercy!" Seth, who was hiding behind them, gritted out viciously.

He knew that Leon was supported by the Thompsons and he would never dare to kill Leon out of fear of the Thompsons. However, Leon barged into the Golans Mansion, giving the Golans the perfect excuse to eliminate him without having to worry that the Thompsons would get involved.

Seth refused to let such a great opportunity slip.

"Yes! Take this, kid!" The Fifth Elder scoffed and charged toward Leon at the speed of lightning.

Leon did not intend on countering the attack directly and simply backed away with Iris in his arms.

Under the effect of the Dragon Pill, his power level rose to the Initial Emperor State and would stand a chance in defeating even martial artists in the Intermediate Emperor State.

With the Mirror of Sovereign, even martial artists in the Peak Emperor State would struggle to break past Leon's defense, so he had nothing to fear from the Fifth Elder.

However, since their power rivaled one another, it would be difficult for Leon to defeat the Fifth Elder either. Hence, he backed away and left his chest area unprotected to lure the Fifth Elder into attacking him in the hope that he could hurry to Snow's rescue in time.

"Here I thought you were invincible, but you're just in the Initial Emperor State! Die!" The Fifth Elder sneered and narrowed his eyes maliciously.

He could not detect Leon's power level through Leon's spiritual energy but concluded that Leon was in the Initial or Intermediate Emperor State based on Leon's speed and explosive power, which meant Leon was hardly a match for the Fifth Elder.

When he spotted a chance to attack, the Fifth Elder did not hesitate to strengthen his attack and struck Leon in the chest to destroy Leon with a single blow.

"Leon, watch out!" Iris paled and screamed when she saw the Fifth Elder attacking.

Though Leon had countless tricks up his sleeves, Iris knew Leon's true power level and since the Fifth Elder was in the Peak Emperor State, Leon might not be able to survive such a powerful blow and she was concerned for Leon's safety.

"Good! Kill him!"

Contrary to Iris's concern, Seth waved his fists in the air in excitement as he stared at Leon like he was looking at a dead man.

He knew that Leon had a powerful defensive tool, but he always assumed that it was in the Initial or Intermediate Emperor State, so it should not be a threat to the Fifth Elder, and Leon was destined to die as soon as the Fifth Elder's attack landed on its target.

The Fourth Elder and the other Golans felt the same way as well.

They were all martial artists in the Intermediate Emperor State or above, so they could immediately tell that Leon was no match for the Fifth Elder and could not fend off the Fifth Elder's attack unless there was a miracle.

However, what happened next shook them to their core.

"Baam!"

The Fifth Elder's attack landed on Leon's chest.

Leon was sent flying and felt his blood boiling; he was on the brink of spewing blood but swallowed it before he did.

Since the Mirror of Sovereign could barely fend off strikes from martial artists in the Peak Emperor State, it could not cancel out the Fifth Elder's attack completely, so it was normal for Leon to suffer a certain degree of damage.

However, most of the impact was absorbed by the mirror and Leon's injury was not severe.

"Die, old man! At the same time he was sent flying, Leon launched a Double Attack at the Fifth Elder.

"What? H- How's this possible?" The Fifth Elder gaped when he sensed the powerful energy of Leon's attack.

He was certain that his attack landed on Leon's chest and that Leon should have been killed right there and then for taking the blow directly. To his bewilderment, Leon survived the attack unscathed miraculously.

As he was still on the momentum of his first attack, Leon already launched a countermove and caught the Fifth Elder by surprise.

He wanted to dodge but had no time to do so and could only watch as Leon's attack slammed into him.

At the very last moment, he managed to summon what was left of his true energy to shied his vital organs.

With a loud bang, the Fifth Elder was struck and sent flying two or three meters away by Leon's punch, before landing heavily on the ground.

After hitting the ground, he clutched his chest in agony and spewed blood from his mouth as he lay prostrate on the ground.

He suffered a serious internal injury and was now incapacitated.

Luckily, Leon's current strength was in the Intermediate Emperor State, and the Fifth Elder managed to protect his vital organs in time, deflecting part of the force of Leon's attack.

If he took Leon's punch directly, even if he survived, he would have likely been crippled for life.

"What? The Fifth Elder was defeated? How could this be possible?!"

Seth and the other elders were stunned.

They gaped at Leon in disbelief!

Seth knew that Leon was only in the Peak Overlord State, which was far inferior compared to the Fifth Elder, who was in the Peak Emperor State.

He thought that the Fifth Elder would be capable of killing Leon with ease, but reality proved him wrong.

The Fifth Elder not only failed to defeat Leon but was also severely injured by him with a single move!

Seth would have never believed what he saw if he hadn't seen it with his own eyes!

"How's this possible?"

"Can it be that this kid has surpassed the Peak Emperor State?"

The elders and the other Golans snapped out of it and exchanged looks of utter shock.

They did not know how Leon managed to win, but they knew that he had to be in the Peak Emperor State or above if he could defeat the Fifth Elder

Among the younger generation of martial artists in the southern region, even Yuri, who was referred to as the brightest of his generation, only managed to reach the Intermediate Emperor State so far.

It was hard for them to believe that a man Leon's age could reach the Peak Emperor State, but neither of them could think of any other explanation for the current situation.

"I got it! Fourth Elder, Leon has a powerful defensive tool! The tool might have the strength equivalent to the Peak Emperor State or even higher!" Realization dawned on Seth.

He always knew that Leon possessed a defensive tool, but both he and Joel always assumed that the power of the tool was in the Initial or Intermediate Emperor State, yet Leon managed to survive a powerful blow from the Fifth Elder before finishing the Fifth Elder with a single blow.

The only possible explanation for this was that the defensive tool Leon possessed might have the strength equivalent to the Peak Emperor State or even higher.

"Haha! Great! Even the gods are on my side!" Seth burst into laughter after learning that the defensive tool Leon possessed might have the strength equivalent to the Peak Emperor State or even higher.

Treasures, special tools, and weapons were extremely hard to come by, especially ones that possessed such enormous power.

If the defensive tool Leon possessed had the strength equivalent to the Peak Emperor State or even higher, it would be merely a step away from being classified as an Almighty Weapon, which made it extremely valuable.

Both Seth and Joel plotted to rob Leon of his treasures in the past, and learning that the item they were aiming for was far more powerful than they imagined filled Seth's heart with excitement.

"Fourth Elder, all of you need to gang up on him! Be sure to take the defensive tool he has and bring it to me!’ Seth commanded.

He knew that most weapons could not be used more than three times, and judging from the fights Leon had with Noah and the Fifth Elder, he should be left with one time to use his defensive tool.

Not only was Leon outnumbered, but all the Golans before him were also in the Intermediate Emperor State or above, so there was no doubt in Seth's mind that it would be easy for them to rob Leon of his weapon.

"Yes!" The Golans strode forward and surrounded Leon.

Like Seth, they all assumed that there was a limit to which the tool could be used.

If Leon already reached the Peak Emperor State, it would be difficult for them to defeat Leon, but they all realized that there was nothing to fear since Leon only managed to defeat the Fifth Elder with a tool.

"And you lot think that you have what it takes to steal something from me? Know your places!" Leon scoffed in contempt.

"Enough with your arrogance, brat! Tools like that usually have a limit! It can save you once, but not every single time! You shall pay for coming into our house and hurting our men!" The Fourth Elder narrowed his eyes maliciously.

"Alright, enough with the chit-chat! Come at me, all of you! Don't waste my time!" Leon said proudly.

"How arrogant! You asked for this!"

"If you have a death wish, we shall grant it!"

Enraged by Leon's attitude, the Fourth Elder and the other Golans fired up their power and charged Leon.

They all witnessed the power of Leon's defensive tool and for safety measures, they intended to disable the tool so Leon would be left defenseless.
