“Iris, what doesn‘t kill you makes you wiser. It‘s no longer safe for you to stay alone outside. Come back and stay with us!” Gilbert said with worry. He could not help but glance at Leon as well.

He wanted his daughter to move back in with them for two reasons. One was out of concern for her, while the other was to separate his daughter and Leon.
Based on what he saw so far, Leon was probably after his daughter. That was why Leon was daring enough to try his luck at saving Elder Young. In the end, Leon was lucky enough to save him.

Gilbert felt helpless, and shot Elder Young a pleading
look, “Dad, Iris listens to you more. You should tell her to come back!”
“No need. If she doesn’t want to come back, there’s no need to force her! We’ll just need to send some more
people to secretly guard her. There shouldn’t be any problems,” Elder Young said calmly.
He knew of Iris’s conflicts with Daisy. He also knew that the two of them could never get along.
In truth, he did not like Daisy much either.
However, Daisy was lucky. She gave birth to a son for Gilbert. He was the future heir of their family!
She managed to ride on her son’s coattails.
Even if Elder Young did not view Daisy highly, he was forced to keep one eyeshot. There was no way he could chase Daisy out of the family for his granddaughter’s
sake.
“Iris, you hardly ever come back. Show Leon around the
place for now. Have dinner with me before the two of you leave,” Elder Young said with a smile.
“Okay,” Iris nodded before she brought Leon out of the main hall.
Once Iris and Leon left, Gilbert could not stop himself
from voicing his worries, “Dad, you might not know this,
but Iris and Leon may be in a relationship right now. The two of them are even going to stay with each other!”
“If Iris doesn’t move back, I’m afraid of the
consequences!”
Elder Young coldly snorted, “What a bunch of nonsense!
Iris has already explained everything to me over the phone. She has nothing to do with Leon. This is just your misunderstanding. Leon doesn‘t have a home to go back to. She‘s just temporarily giving Leon a place to stay to repay him.”
“Even if it‘s a misunderstanding , it‘s really hard to say when it comes to feelings. What if the two of them develop feelings for each other after staying together?” Gilbert was still worried.
“There are no what–ifs here!”
“Iris is such an excellent woman. She has high standards as well. So many rich heirs and excellent young men have tried to court her but failed. How could she fall for someone as ordinary and unexceptional as Leon?!” Elder Young waved it off nonchalantly.

By the time Leon woke up from his practice, it was already dawn the next day.
“Huff…” Leon let out a long sigh.
He did not sleep for an entire night, but not only did he not feel exhausted at all, he felt incredibly awake instead. His whole body seemed to be filled with energy.
“I’ve entered the initial stage of energy refinement,” Leon clenched his fist as he let out a smile.
“It’s a pity that there isn’t much spiritual energy around here. Otherwise, I’ll probably have been even faster,” Leon shook his head. Based on the memories he
inherited, the sage arts needed spiritual energy from the environment.
The better the surroundings were, the more spiritual energy there would be.
That was why many ancient experts liked to hide deep in
the mountains.
Mountains?
Right, the villas in the area were surrounded by

touched her face curiously.
“It’s not that, I was just thinking of quickly finding a
place to rent somewhere. Then I’ll be able to move out,”
Leon laughed awkwardly. He had money at that moment.
He felt bad to continue staying with Iris and relying on
her.
Yet, he did not feel like moving out for some reason.
Iris suddenly stopped eating as she said softly, “You can
keep staying here. I have plenty of empty rooms anyway.
It’s more convenient for you to stay with me instead of finding a place to rent outside.

“It‘s been quite lonely staying here alone the past two years. I’ve been wanting someone around to talk to me…”
“Really? That‘s great!” Leon was elated. After all, he would be able to save some money then.
However, it merely confirmed Iris‘ thoughts about him being a pervert.
That was not necessarily a bad thing.
So, Iris rolled her eyes at Leon, “Hurry up and eat! After you eat, I‘ll take you to the company with me and get your job arranged for you.”
“Okay,” Leon nodded. Thinking that he would not only be able to stay in the same place as Iris in the future, but also go to and return from work together, he could not stop himself from feeling a little happy.
After they had breakfast, Iris took Leon to the villa‘s
garage.
The garage was very big, and there were quite a few cars
inside. All of the cars were luxury cars that were worth a
fortune.
“Leon, you can pick any of these cars you want. I’ll give one to you for you to go to work with in the future,” Iris pointed at the row of cars in front of her and said.
Leon was shocked. He hurriedly put his hands up and
said, “I don’t have a driver’s license!”

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry…” Leon hurriedly apologized.

Everyone started to look at Leon with disdain and
contempt.
Leon’s face was completely red at that point. He wanted

He never expected that he would get famous on his first
day of work, before he even officially started working, thanks to a pink motorcycle!
Compared to what some people called him, he suddenly felt like the beauty only calling him a sissy was quite
polite.
It was not worth mentioning at all.
“You’re just a sissy. Stop wasting my time!” The woman looked at Leon in disdain before turning around and leaving proudly. She did not want to become a topic of
conversation by staying there.
Leon wanted to continue the argument, but he
considered that it was his first day at work and decided
against it.
At the president’s office, Iris tidied up some documents
on her desk when Ariel Summers walked in with a huff.
“Hey, what happened to you? You look so unhappy, who
angered you?” Iris asked curiously.
“Don’t talk about it anymore. I bumped into a sissy
outside!” Ariel said angrily.
“A sissy? Aren‘t you usually very well–mannered? Did you need to get so angry just because you bumped into a sissy?” Iris wondered to herself before she seemed to realize something.
“Wait, are you in a bad mood because you‘re on your period?”
“It has nothing to do with my period!”

“It‘s just that that sissy was just too disgusting. I hate men without a hint of masculinity!” Ariel blushed a little. She really was on her period. She was not in a good mood and got annoyed easily.
In truth, she knew that she was in the wrong, but that had nothing to do with her wanting to vent her frustrations at Leon.
She was pretty, she had a great figure and she was rich. Her period was here so she wanted to get angry at some poor guy. Was there anything wrong with that?

She always preferred big, masculine men anyway. She
loved those tough and cold–blooded soldiers on TV.
Leon was a man, but he still rode a pink motorcycle. That alone made her disgusted.
So, he deserved to be scolded.
“Oh, what exactly happened? Tell me about it,” Iris straightened her body and asked curiously.
“It’s nothing worth mentioning!” Ariel knew that she was in the wrong, so she changed the topic, “That’s right, Iris. How was that kidnapping handled?”

“I’m fine. Thankfully, Leon was there to save me…” Iris shook her head before telling Ariel everything.
Ariel was Iris’s best friend from university.
Iris did not have many friends, and Ariel was the only one she considered a good friend.
Of course, the flirting was omitted. There was no way she would tell anyone about that.
“You said he was a man you didn’t know, but he still took
a stab for you. To protect you, he even decided to die with the thugs?! Now that’s a real man! I guess you must feel very safe beside him?” Ariel’s eyes glinted. She loved
those masculine men on TV because she always lacked a sense of safety ever since she was young.
It was a pity that all of that was only on TV. At the very

Thinking about the dangers she faced that night, she still felt some fear. She was filled with gratitude for Leon.

“Iris, tell me what he looks like. Is he handsome? Does he look like one of those heroic and mighty men?!” Ariel pulled at Iris‘ hand excitedly.
“Yes, he‘s very handsome!” Iris nodded.
Even though she felt like there was nothing particularly exceptional about how Leon looked, there was still an
attractiveness to him. The scene of Leon protecting her that night was deeply engraved in her mind as well. Leon was incredibly handsome then!
As for whether or not he was mighty and heroic, it might
not be something that can describe Leon.
“Ariel, you have to introduce him to me one day. I want to
see for myself what he looks like!” Ariel smiled in
expectation.
She was in a bad mood, but she forgot all about that. Even the air felt fresher.
“There’s no need to wait for that, you’ll be able to meet him soon,” Iris said with a smile.
“Not only did he save me, he even saved my grandfather. My grandfather wanted to properly repay him, but he
only had one request, which was a job…” Iris elaborated simply.
“Wow, not only is he mighty and heroic, he’s even so
morally upright. He didn’t ask for anything back after saving you. Isn’t a man like that just too perfect?!” Ariel’s
heart was rapidly beating at that moment. She was suddenly filled with respect and reverence for that man
she never saw before. She was even forming an image of him in her head.
A young man with white robes was devilishly handsome.
He had a cool expression on his head and an incredibly domineering aura. He stood atop white clouds as he

At that moment, they heard a knock on the door. Leon walked in from outside.
“Iris, I…” Leon was about to say something when he

“What? The two of you know each other?” Iris looked at
Leon and Ariel in surprise.
“We don’t just know each other! He’s the sissy I was
talking about just now!” Ariel let out a cold snort and
looked at Leon with disdain.
“The sissy?” Iris was stunned. She was with Leon for a while. Leon‘s personality might not be incredibly manly, but he was not a sissy!
“Hey, could you have had a misunderstanding ? Let me introduce you again. This is Leon.”
“Leon, this is my assistant, Ariel Summers,” Iris gave the two of them a simple introduction.
“Leon? Iris, is he the man that saved you?!” Ariel was dumbfounded . Iris mentioned Leon‘s name a few times just now, so she did not forget it.
“That‘s right. It‘s him!” Iris nodded.
“H–how is that possible…” Ariel looked like she was struck by lightning

“If you don‘t like it, I can give you a different position !”
“I‘m happy with it, of course, I am,” Leon was incredibly
happy as he nodded frantically.
Iris arranged for a much better job than he dared to hope for. He would even be able to learn a lot by staying by Iris‘ side. He desperately wanted the job.
In Ariel‘s eyes, he proved that he was a sissy by accepting a job as a secretary.
“Other than that, I have to remind you that the company has its own rules. I hope you can obey them. Don‘t just act like you own the place just because I‘m indebted to you!” Iris added.
“I know. I‘ll work properly. I won‘t betray your trust,” Leon said earnestly.
Iris let out a satisfied smile before she looked at Ariel,” Ariel, Leon just joined the company and doesn‘t know anything. I‘ll temporarily leave him to you. Make your
arrangements for him!”
Ariel viciously glared at Leon, nodding reluctantly.
“Also, I arranged for Leon to be the president’s secretary because I want to properly train him up. I don’t want anyone else to know about what happened between the two of us, so don’t spread it around,” Iris said.
Better to teach a man how to fish than to give him fish for a day!
Iris knew that Leon was not that capable. She arranged for Leon to be by her side because she wanted to expand Leon’s knowledge as well as train Leon’s organizational
abilities.
Then, even if Leon left the company in the future, he
would be able to carve out a business for himself or have a
career as an executive in a company.
That was her way of repaying Leon.
“I understand. Don’t worry, I won’t let it spread,” Ariel
smiled. She knew what Iris was concerned about.
Leon was Iris’s savior. If the people in the company knew
of that, there would be a lot of people who would try to get friendly with Leon.
If that happened, training Leon would be completely secondary. There was a chance that Leon would completely ruin his future due to some alluring offers.
“Let’s go, I’ll bring you to the human resources department to get your documentation done first,” Ariel glanced at Leon before turning around and leaving the office.
Leon followed behind her.
After getting the documentation done, Ariel brought Leon to the front of the president’s department.
“Leon, in our company, the president’s secretary is nominally under the president’s department. You should report to the department first and learn the ropes from the office for a few days. Once you get the basics down, I’ll personally guide you,” Ariel said simply.
In the Elegante Group, the president’s assistant was a high–ranking executive within the company. She had a lot of power and was almost equal to the vice president
and the general manager.
The president‘s secretary was only in charge of running errands for the president. Other than a slightly better salary, the secretary had no real power.
However, Leon‘s situation was a bit more special. Iris had intentions of training him. He was merely assuming the position of a secretary for the moment. In the future, he would have as much power as Ariel.

Leon rubbed his nose and headed to the office by himself.

The inner office was where the head of the president‘s department worked. Meanwhile, the outer office was for general affairs.
The president‘s department was an important department that made decisions within the company, assisting the president in the day–to–day business.

rank as the president’s assistant. Both of them were at the rank of directors. They were both core members of the company’s power structure.
Since Ariel was close to Iris, her power was a level higher than the head of the president’s department.

Iris was stunned, “You don’t have a driver’s license? That does make things a little inconvenient.”
Iris fell silent for a bit before she suddenly thought of something, “Then can you ride bikes?”

Leon nodded. He was treated as less than a dog with the Mansons, there was no way he could have been allowed to drive a car.
However, the Mansons regularly needed him to run their
errands. For convenience’s sake, they got him a shabby
second–hand motorcycle.
“That’s great. I have a motorcycle here that my aunt gave me for my birthday. I don’t use it anyway, why don’t I give it to you for you to go to work with,” Iris pulled Leon over to a corner. There was a vibrant pink motorcycle there.
“Don’t look down on this motorcycle, it’s worth at least hundreds of thousands…”

“What? It‘s that expensive ?” Leon was so shocked that his jaw almost dropped to the ground.
“That‘s right. I remember my aunt telling me that this is a limited edition commemorative model from Rolls Royce. I think the price was around two hundred and fifty thousand dollars!” Iris said after thinking about it.

After that, he hesitated for a moment before summoning up his courage to say, “Iris, we‘ll be working together in the future anyway. Wouldn‘t it be more convenient if I just go to work with you…”

Leon was on a majestic racing bike. He should look very impressive and handsome, but thanks to the pink hue of
the bike, it was a little hilarious.
Iris could not stop herself from laughing. Her cold exterior seemed to melt as she let out an alluring laugh.
Leon was completely stunned by the sight. His heart started beating rapidly.
There was even a moment when he wished that time would stop at that moment forever!
After that, Iris drove out of the villa while Leon followed
on his motorcycle.
Behind the two of them, two black Mercedes followed in
the distance.
Those two cars were filled with Iris‘ bodyguards. They were tasked with protecting Iris in secret.
The Elegante Group was one of the many companies under the Young banner.
The company focused on cosmetics and skincare products. They mostly produced mid- to high–end products.
Two years ago, Elder Young made the executive decision to hand the Elegante Group to Iris after she graduated. It was for the sake of training Iris.

In the office, Joseph Conrad, a plump, bald man about fifty years of age sat in front of the desk.
He faced a young girl who looked incredibly nervous.
The girl was about twenty–one or twenty–two years of age. She had delicate facial features and looked very
meek. She wore large, black–rimmed glasses that hid her beautiful looks.
She was quite petite and dressed plainly, but it did little to hide her natural beauty.
The girl was called Lily Cameron. She was one of the three secretaries of the president. her rank was the same as
Leon’s. She was the secretary of daily affairs, while Leon
was the administrative secretary.
Other than that, the president’s secretaries had two direct
superiors. The first was the president, while the second
was the head of the president’s office.
“Miss Cameron, you’ve already been in the company for
over a month. You have been quite decent in terms of the quality of your work, but you still don‘t react quickly enough to anything that happens. I‘m still very unhappy with your performance. How do you think we should address that?” Joseph narrowed his eyes as his eyes shone with ill intentions.
Lily was incredibly frightened. She hurriedly lowered her head, “Mister Conard, I‘ll work harder in the future. Please give me another chance.”

“It‘s not like I can‘t give you another chance, but it depends on how you‘ll seize that chance!” Joseph walked in front of Lily and grabbed Lily‘s white and delicate hands, running his hand up her arm.
“W–what are you doing?!” Lily was shocked as she pulled her hand back, pushing Joseph‘s claws away.
“Miss Cameron, there are certain rules when it comes to the workplace. I trust you get what I‘m saying!” Joseph coldly snorted, expressing his displeasure.
“What rules?” Lily was shocked.
Seeing her confused reaction, Joseph could not be
bothered putting up pretenses. He touched Lily’s chin
and smiled, “Let me be more straightforward. You’re very pretty, and I like you!
“As long as you’re willing to accompany me one time, I won’t just give you a chance, I’ll even make sure you immediately pass your probation!”
Lily’s face paled, immediately understanding what happened.

incredibly quickly and forcefully.
Joseph stepped on Leon’s hand with one of his feet. He
was caught off guard and ended up slipping, falling on his
back with a bang.
“Piece of trash, you wanna die?!” Joseph was infuriated.
He sent his hand that held the cigarette bud right at
Leon’s face.
Leon raised his hand in shock, and the cigarette bud
somehow hit his injured hand. The heat and the pain in
his palm almost caused him to jump up on the spot.
He reacted instinctively and slammed his hand forward, hitting Joseph on the chest.
Bang!
Joseph’s fat body was sent flying, slamming right into
the desk behind him. With a loud bang, even the desk that
was made of solid wood shattered into pieces.
“Ugh…” Joseph spat out a mouthful of blood. His bones seemed to be falling apart all over his body. He felt a suffocating pain in his chest, signaling that he probably broke at least two or three bones in his rib cage.
Lily was dumbfounded at the sight.
Joseph was dumbfounded as well, that guy did this.
Leon was the most stunned of all of them.
It was as if he was not the one who injured Joseph.
They did not know this, but Leon was the one who was caught off guard the most among all of them. He did not
