'What?! Y- You wouldn't dare!" Rodney was shocked.

He felt confident because Arthur and the Thompsons reluctantly spared his life upon hearing his father's threat. To his bewilderment, Leon did not give up on punishing him and this caught him off guard.

"You'll know if I dare to do so or not soon enough! Rodney, you partnered with Joel to kill Mister Yonas, before framing me for the murder! It's time we settle the scores!" Leon said coldly, before walking toward Rodney in long strides.

Though the Thompsons decided to spare Rodney for the greater good, Leon had the right to his own decision.

Rodney and Joel both framed him and caused him to almost get killed by Arthur.

Leon did not forget about what they did and after all the grievances Rodney caused him, there was no way that Leon would let him off that easily.

Naturally, to prevent the Thompsons from facing the Southern Boss's retaliation, he did not intend to kill Rodney, but he was certainly going to destroy his power.

"Don't bother trying to scare me, Leon! I'm warning you! If you dare to hurt me, my dad won't spare you!" Rodney feigned confidence and tried to threaten Leon into giving up using his father’s name.

However, he soon remembered that his father was no match for Leon and added, "he won't just target you. He will target Iris and the other women as well! If you lay your hands on me, you will all die!"

"As if a loser like the Southern Boss can do such a thing! What a joke!"

Leon scoffed at his threat.

The Thompsons had many offspring they needed to take care of, and it only made sense that they had to be cautious around the Southern Boss.

On the other hand, Leon had nothing much to lose and did not fear the Southern Boss at all.

Though he used up all his Potential Energy Force, the Southern Boss was badly injured and would not recover without a few months' rest.

Because Leon reached the invincible phase of the Intermediate Almighty State and how rapidly he was powering up, he was likely to have reached the Advanced or even Peak Almighty State by then and would not have anything to fear from the Southern Boss.

Iris and his other female friends, however, were his biggest weakness and he was indeed quite worried that the Southern Boss would target them. Still, he already thought of a solution.

He intended to recruit a few more subordinates in the Almighty State or try his best to strengthen Henry and Chandler's power so that they could be capable of protecting the women from the Southern Boss.

"Don't! Don't come any closer!" Rodney's heart sank upon seeing that Leon did not fear the Southern Boss.

As Leon approached, his blood ran cold and the smugness on his face vanished without a trace.

"No!!!’ Rodney screamed. His voice trailed off as he wailed; his power vanishing as his Energy Sea Point was destroyed.

Worried that Leon might end up killing Rodney, Arthur stepped forward. ’ Mister Wolf, let's just spare Rodney's life for now! We can wait until after the Southern Boss is out of the picture."

Leon and the Thompsons were on the same boat and if Leon accidentally killed Rodney, the Southern Boss would seek revenge on both Leon and the Thompsons.

Though Leon had nothing to fear from the Southern Boss, the same could not be said about the Thompsons.

Out of consideration for the safety of other members, Arthur could not allow Leon to kill Rodney, as the Thompsons would be powerless if the Southern Boss decided to retaliate.

In conclusion, it was best for everyone to let it go for now.

"I understand." Leon nodded and let Rodney go.

"Come and take Joel and Rodney away!" Arthur waved his arm, intending to take the two back to the Thompsons' mansion and deal with Joel later on.

"Yes!" A few members of the Thompsons heed his order and immediately grab Joel and Rodney.

With that, the series of events finally came to an end.

"Dad, this is over now! Mister Wolf was injured a couple of times before and we should head back, so he can rest," August said.

"Um, hang on!" Arthur mumbled thoughtfully, before approaching Leon.

In the next moment, he got down on his knees before Leon.

"Elder Thompson, what are you doing?" Shocked by his action, Leon immediately tried to help Arthur up.

However, Arthur was far more powerful than he was and he could not force him up no matter how hard he tried.

"Mister Wolf, thank you for this. You were the one who found Yonas' murderers. You even defeated the Southern Boss and the Demon Lord all by yourself! If you didn't do so, who knows what misfortune awaits US?" Arthur said earnestly.

"Elder Thompson, you are too kind. I merely did my duty," Leon said.

"No! Please let me finish! August and I fell for Rodney's trap and mistook you for the murderer. I even injured you and came close to killing you. I must apologize to you for that. Please forgive US," He then turned to August and roared, "August, come over here! Kneel and apologize to Mister Wolf!"

"Um, okay!" August hesitated for a moment, before approaching to kneel before Leon. 1

"Mister Wolf, I've been so wrong to blame everything on you. Please forgive me," August said guiltily.

He did not interact with Leon that many times beforehand and since Leon was young, he had little to no respect for him. However, upon witnessing the powerful impact of Leon's Potential Energy Force, he realized that Leon was far more formidable than he could ever imagine.

Back when he and Arthur wrongly accused Leon, Leon could have used the Potential Energy Force against them, but he swallowed his pride and did not fight back at all.

On top of that, he even repaid their resentment with kindness, and helped them get to the bottom of Yonas' death; that kindness alone was worthy of respect.

Instantly, he was overwhelmed by guilt and respect toward Leon.

"Elder Thompson, Mister Thompson, you have only been tricked. Don't blame yourselves! It's already in the past and I don't blame you for it! Please get up," Leon said, before helping the two up.

"Mister Wolf, thank you for forgiving us," Arthur smiled gratefully.

With that, the misunderstanding between the Thompsons and Leon was cleared entirely and their relationship returned to normal.

"Angus, I was foolish for chasing you out! You were the one who supported Mister Wolf and prevented August and me from making a horrible mistake. Now that the truth came out, you and the members of the first bloodline would pack your things and come home with me," Arthur said.

"Sure!" Angus smiled.

"Also, I have something important to announce! Thompsons, heed my words. From this moment onward, Angus will be your new leader! He will be leading our family from now on!" Arthur announced.

"What?!" Angus was stunned.

He was not alone; everyone, including the elders, Yuri, and other Thompsons, was shocked.

None of them expected Arthur to pass down his position as the leader to Angus out of the blue and were all caught by surprise.

"Uncle, you can't do this! I'm far from capable and I can't be the leader now. You should remain as the leader for at least a few more years before deciding your successor," Angus said hastily.

He knew that Arthur was a powerful martial artist; with his just nature, Arthur was the spiritual pillar of the entire family.

Under his leadership, the Thompsons remained the head of all families in the southern region, proving just how capable he was.

Angus knew that he could not hold a candle to Arthur's power, and dared not to take over as the leader.

"That's right!"

"Elder Thompson, you are still strong. You can still lead the family for at least five to six years!"

"Why are you in such a hurry to retire?"

The others, including the elders, and members from the first and second bloodlines spoke up.

Arthur was a powerful individual with a great heart and none of them wanted him to retire just yet.

"Don't bother trying to talk me out of it! I was so foolish with Yonas' death and I almost had the biggest mistake of my life! Angus, on the other hand, kept a leveled head and saw the truth right away! With his wisdom, he surely qualifies as the leader!" Arthur stated.

"But," Angus muttered hesitantly. He wanted to talk Arthur out of it but was interrupted before he could say anything.

"That's enough! Angus, Mister Wolf has taken down the Southern Boss and the Separs for us! This is the best time for you to take over!" Arthur said.

Back when the Spears were still in power, they rivaled the Thompsons and given the Southern Boss's ambitious nature, Angus would be fit to lead the Thompsons.

However, the Spears were taken apart and the Southern Boss was wanted by the Dragon Corps; without the Spears as a threat, Arthur felt that this was the perfect opportunity to name Angus the leader.

"That may be true, but my power level is far too low and I'm not all that talented either. I'm afraid I'm not qualified for it," Angus said worriedly.

Though his power level reached the Almighty State, he only managed to survive because of the Sun Pill Leon gave him.

In truth, he was hardly talented compared to the Southern Boss and if he took over as leader of the family too soon, he would not be able to keep other families in the southern region at bay.

"It's fine! Don't worry. I'm just handing everything over to you so I can act as backup! If you face any difficulties and the family needs anything, I'll always be around. Once I rid myself of all the mundane tasks as the leader, I can focus on training and get to the Peak Almighty State as soon as possible. The next time I see the Southern Boss, I'm taking him out for good!" Arthur said, determined to hand his position over to Angus.

"Um, alright, then!" Seeing that Arthur made up his mind, Angus decided to accept it.

"Alright, it's settled. Does anyone object to it?" Arthur scanned the crowd.

"No!" Since it was decided, the others shook their head in compliance.

August, the direct descendent of the second bloodline, was the only one with the right to compete with Angus as the next leader. However, he preferred to pursue arts and never considered competing.

With his son dead, he was left with no successor and could not possibly be named as the leader.

Thankfully, he had a younger daughter and could still live the rest of his life with hope instead of despair despite his older son's death.

"Mister Wolf, it's getting late. You were injured just now, so you should rest. The Thompsons will leave you alone for now," Arthur said to Leon.

"Sure. Be careful on your way out," Leon said with a smile and watched as the Thompsons left.

Angus and other members of the first bloodline left with them as well.

Instantly, Leon, his subordinates, Iris, and the others were the only people left in the mansion.

"Henry, Mason, why don't you all clean the place up? I need to rest," Leon ordered.

He took the Dragon Pill to deal with the Southern Boss earlier and the effect was beginning to wear off; he would soon enter the recovery phase and needed to return to his room. 1

With that, he left his subordinates behind to clean, while the women accompanied him back to his room.

Somewhere in a deserted forest, Hades escaped here and barely managed to escape the Dragon Guards after rescuing the Southern Boss.

"Great! We are finally free of those flies!" Hades scoffed and tossed the Southern Boss onto the grass.

With his power reaching the Peak Almighty State, it was not challenging to escape from Alfred and the others. However, he was slowed down considerably because he was carrying the Southern Boss, who was injured.

Because of that, it took him quite some time to shake the Dragon Guards.

After having some rest, the Southern Boss recovered slightly from his injuries and bowed respectfully at Hades." Hades, thank you for saving me!"

"You don't have to thank me. I only helped you because I didn't want the Dragon Corps to get what they wanted! Also, I have a few questions for you!" Hades said.

The enemy of one's enemy was a friend and the Southern Boss was once the head of the underground society, which meant that he was connected to the criminals in some way.

Hades could not let the Dragon Corps take the Southern Boss out. On top of that, Hades felt increasingly uneasy upon hearing that the people on the criminal lists were being killed one after another.

He snuck his way to the Southern region mainly to investigate the death of other criminals and considering that the Southern Boss had many connections, he decided that the Southern Boss might know something and decided to rescue him.

"What are your questions?" The Southern Boss asked.

"First question: How did the Demon Lord die? Given your power along with his, how did you two end up this way?" Hades frowned.

He followed Alfred and the others to where Leon was, and since they arrived later than the others, the Demon Lord was already dead by the time they arrived.

Hades did not know how the Demon Lord died and could not understand who could kill someone like the Demon Lord, who was close to reaching the Peak Almighty State; not to mention injuring the Southern Boss at the same time.

Even Hades himself might not be capable of doing so.

"Hades, the Demon Lord was killed by Leon,"

The Southern Boss said, before explaining everything that happened earlier.

"What?! He did?!"

Hades was utterly stunned.He had a brief exchange with Leon when Leon sent poisonous daggers flying at him.

Though he did not know the extent of Leon's power, he reached a conclusion that Leon was at the Almighty State based on the energy he sensed from the daggers.

The Demon Lord was close to reaching the Peak Almighty State and it seemed impossible for someone like Leon to defeat him.

Instantly, Hades was frozen in shock.

"That brat had a really powerful Potential Energy Force that was at least in the Semi-Saint State.He used that to injure me and kill the Demon Lord,"

The Southern Boss explained.

Upon recalling the fearful Potential Energy Force Leon wielded, he could not help but cower slightly in fear.

"A Powerful Potential Energy Force in the Semi-Saint State? I see!"

Hades’ expression darkened.

In terms of power level, after the Peak Almighty State came the Semi-Saint State, then the Saint State.

However, the Saint State was almost a legend, even in the central region where there were only a few martial artists in the Semi-Saint State.

If Leon indeed possessed a Potential Energy Force in the Semi-Saint State, he could practically rule Sky Country without much resistance.

Instantly, Hades understood why Leon managed to easily eliminate the Demon Lord; even Hades himself, who was at the Peak Almighty State, would be powerless before the Potential Energy Force Leon possessed.

"What a kid! I didn't expect him to have a Potential Energy Force in the Semi-Saint State! I underestimated him!"

Hades gasped in fear.

When Leon attacked him with the poisonous daggers, he sent them right back at Leon and Leon managed to dodge them.

Hades assumed that Leon got lucky at the time and was in such a hurry to leave that he decided to let Leon live.

However, upon learning that Leon possessed a Potential Energy Force in the Semi-Saint State, he felt relieved that he left in time, or he might have been killed by the Potential Energy Force as well.

"That's right! That kid isn't normal.I don't even know where he got a Potential Energy Force in the Semi-Saint State!"

The Southern Boss gritted out.

"Maybe he got lucky and obtained a tressure in the Semi- Saint State!"

Hades guessed.

As the man who ranked second on the criminal list, Hades saw a lot and knew that a few treasures in the Semi-Saint State surfaced in Sky County over the past few decades.

Some fell in the hands of a few powerful families, while others were unaccounted for.

With Leon's young age, Hades concluded that Leon could not possibly have reached the Semi-Saint State and that Leon had likely obtained a powerful weapon that enabled him to wield such a powerful Potential Energy Force.

The Southern Boss nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, that has to be the case! How lucky can he be to obtain a tressure in the Semi-Saint State?"

He learned that Leon had a defensive tool in the Intermediate Almighty State from the battle earlier and that there was no limit to its usage.

Tressures were scarce, especially the ones that contained great power, so the Southern Boss was displeased that Leon had a defensive tool in the Intermediate Almighty State and a tressure in the Semi-Saint State.

"Forget about him! I need to ask you something.How did the Poisonwielder, Asmodeus, and the Scarlet Thief die?"

Hades changed the subject.

"I'm not sure, but I think Leon was the one who killed the Scarlet Thief,"

The Southern Boss explained thoughtfully.

He did not know what happened with the Poisonwielder and Asmodeus, but the circumstances were different for the Scarlet Thief, who was ordered by the Southern Boss to assassinate Leon, only to die suddenly.

The Southern Boss was baffled at the time as to how someone as formidable as the Scarlet Thief would fail to kill Leon and get killed himself.

However, upon witnessing what Leon was capable of, the Southern Boss finally realized that the Scarlet Thief was killed by Leon.

"Him, again?!"

Hades's heart sank.

Upon learning that both the Demon Lord and the Scarlet Thief died at the hand of Leon, he instinctively knew that Asmodeus and the Poisonwielder likely suffered the same fate as well.

If that was truly the case, Leon was the enemy of all criminals and with the powerful weapon he owned, Hades knew that he would have to watch out for Leon from now on, or he might be the next to perish.

"Hades, I need your help with something," the Southern Boss said abruptly.

"What is it? Hades asked, casting his thoughts about Leon aside for the time being.

"Leon killed my Four Apostles and destroyed my entire clan.He's officially my nemesis and my son, Rodney, is being held hostage by Leon and the Thompsons.I want your help killing him and rescuing my son," The Southern Boss pleaded.

His eyes glimmered with extreme hatred upon mentioning Leon's name as he desperately wished he could tear Leon apart.

"What?"

Hades was shocked by his request.

"Southern Boss, have you gone insane? Leon has a tressure in the Semi-Saint State, and I'm no match for him! If I help you with that, I'll die too!"

Hades reprimanded coldly.He only came to the southern region to look into the deaths of the Poisonwielder, Asmodeus, and the Scarlet Thief.

Now that he found out Leon was responsible, he achieved what he came for.

Upon learning about what Leon was capable of, he swore to stay out of Leon's way and would rather maintain a distance from Leon; yet the Southern Boss asked for his help to take Leon down, which was just the equivalence of telling him to commit suicide.

"Please calm down, Hades! Though Leon's resourceful, he's far too young and is probably at the Initial Almighty State at best, so it'd take him at least a year to accumulate enough energy to force that Potential Energy Force. I gathered that the Potential Energy Force he wielded was probably the only one he had, or he wouldn't have let us go without attacking!" The Southern Boss said.

He fought Leon many times and could tell that Leon was in the Initial Almighty State at best.

Leon was far from reaching the Semi-Saint State, so it would require great energy and time to produce an attack at the level of the Semi-Saint State; with that in mind, he assumed that Leon only had one Potential Energy Force in his possession.

"Hm, that might be true!" Hades was convinced, as he countered Leon's poisonous daggers and nearly killed Leon; if Leon truly possessed another Potential Energy Force, he could have used it right there and then to prevent the Southern Boss from escaping.

"Hades, now that Leon has run out of tricks, this is the best time to attack! Once you get rid of him, you can claim his treasure as your own! Wouldn't that be great?" The Southern Boss said.

The Southern Boss was severely injured, so he was no match for Leon even if Leon had no more Potential Energy

Force in his possession, so he could only place his hope on Hades, who was in the Peak Almighty State.

"Well,” Hades fell into silence.

A tressure in the Semi-Saint State was practically the highest one could ever dream of obtaining, and Hades was not immune to its temptation.

If he obtained a tressure in the Semi-Saint State, he would have more power and the Dragon Guards from the central region would face more challenge when they tried to attack him.

Instantly, he found himself wavering and came close to agreeing to the Southern Boss's request. However, upon recalling how formidable Leon was, he regained his senses.

He shook his head and denied the request without hesitation, "Not happening! I don't have the time to deal with your enemy!"

Shocked by his refusal, the Southern Boss asked, "Why not?"

"This is all just your guess! No one can know for sure if Leon possesses more Potential Energy Forces! If he does, I'll be charging toward my death if I agree to help you out!" Hades scoffed.

As one of the criminals on the list, he managed to evade the Dragon Guards' attack for years because he was careful.

Though he agreed that it was unlikely for Leon to possess another Potential Energy Force, that was merely an assumption and since he was not close with the Southern

Boss, he saw no point in foolishly risking his life for the Southern Boss.

"But," Reluctant to give up, the Southern Boss tried to argue, only to be interrupted by Hades.

"End of discussion! Tressures may be tempting, but my life matters most! If you want to manipulate me into retaliating against Leon on your behalf, you should just give up now!" Hades sneered.

He was no fool and could tell the Southern Boss wanted to use him.

The Scarlet Thief and the Demon Lord were used by the Southern Boss and both ended up killed by Leon.

Considering what happened, Hades had no intention of repeating their mistakes.

"Hades, I have no intention of using you. I'm telling the truth. I can assure you that Leon ran out of Potential Energy Forces and with his injuries now, this is the best time to take him out. If you miss this chance, he will recover and might even obtain another Potential Energy Force. If that happens, he'll be a great threat to you," The Southern Boss assured.

He conflicted with Leon numerous times in the past and had a general understanding of the kind of person Leon was.

Considering the grievances between him and Leon, Leon would have used another Potential Energy Force on him if he possessed one instead of letting him go and the Southern Boss was confident with his belief.

"Your promise means nothing to me! Southern Boss, the Demon Lord, and I have both come to the southern region, and the Dragon Corps in the central region must have heard of this. If I'm not mistaken, the Dragon Guards from the central region are probably on the way here to capture us. If Alfred and the Dragon Guards here join them and locate where I am, both of us will be dead!" Hades said.

He narrowly escaped the Dragon Guards, but he knew that they would not give up so easily and were likely following his trail to find him.

With his power in the Peak Almighty State, he had nothing to fear from them, but he could not say the same about the Dragon Guards from the central region, who were far more powerful than the ones in the southern region.

There were martial artists in the Peak Almighty State and even the Semi-Saint State amongst the Dragon Guards from the central region and if theyjoined forces with Alfred and the others, the situation would be far more dangerous.

With that in mind, Hades knew that he needed to leave the area as soon as possible.

It did not matter if Leon possessed another Potential Energy Force, and he did not have the time to help the Southern Boss with his revenge; if he was seen again, he would be killed on sight.

"What? But," The Southern Boss was stunned, before realizing that he was not out of the woods just yet.

The most pressing issue was whether he could escape the Dragon Guards, so he was in no position to think about fighting Leon.

"Southern Boss, I'm heading back to the central region to look for Brahma! You have one chance. Are you staying here or coming to the central region with me?" Hades asked.

Brahma was the person who ranked first on the criminal list.

The eight criminals on the list were all killed except for Hades and Brahma, and it was unsettling to know that Leon was still alive.

Brahma ranked first on the criminal list and reached the Semi-Saint State. On top of that, he possessed a powerful treasure at the Saint State; so long as Brahma was willing to act, they could easily eliminate Leon.

Once Leon was taken out, Hades could pay Brahma to obtain the treasure Leon possessed without having to risk his own life-fighting Leon.

"That's great! With Brahma's help, Leon's going to die!" The Southern Boss said in excitement.

Through the earlier fight, he witnessed how resourceful Leon was and realized that Leon was far more challenging to deal with compared to the Thompsons.

If Leon did not turn the tables on the Spears by himself, the Southern Boss would have won the battle and at the moment, he considered Leon as his biggest enemy.

Rodney was the culprit who killed Yonas, so the Southern Boss could guess that Rodney was being held by the Thompsons; out of fear for the Southern Boss, it was likely that the Thompsons would not dare to harm Rodney.

Once Leon was out of the picture, the Southern Boss could retaliate against the Thompsons and rescue Rodney to his heart's content.

With that in mind, he was instantly overwhelmed with joy.

"Southern Boss, don't get ahead of yourself!" Hades said." Brahma's named that way because he has multiple faces. No one has ever seen his real face and no one knows where he's hiding. It's not going to be easy to find him!

Since Brahma was hard to find, Hades was not confident in finding him anytime soon but was certain that Leon would be doomed once he did.

Leon took down the Scarlet Thief, the Demon Lord, and the others, which made him the enemy of all remaining criminals, ’

Once Brahma learned about this, he would indeed attack Leon to eliminate all possible risks instead of allowing someone like Leon to grow stronger.

"I see!" The Southern Boss felt disappointed but soon realized that he did not need to rush.

Hades resided in the central region most of the time and should know much about the area and Brahma. With that considered, Hades would locate Brahma sooner or later and eliminate Leon.
