Ch. 1621..1630

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1621-To no surprise, Baba Yaga really returned after patiently waiting up to seven hours.

Frank certainly did not hold back, subduing her in an instant to cut off her escape while hitting her internally with a burst of pure vigor.

If Baba Yaga were to pull anything, it was just a matter of thought for Frank to detonate that pure vigor and kill her.

Having sealed his triumph, Frank flung Baba Yaga to the floor.

"Impossible…" she murmured as she pushed herself up, staring in disbelief at the door which Frank tore open.

She spent a fortune on the construction of this clinic, with everything from the walls to the door reinforced with special materials provided by Hundred Bane Sect.

Forget Ascendant ranks—even those peak Ascendant ranks would not ever be able to break it, but Frank tore through it like candy wrapper.

It left Baba Yaga at a loss-was she too weak, or was Frank just too powerful?

Surely only the most powerful individuals of Draconia could accomplish something like that… Did that mean that the brat before her had reached their level already?!

The thought left Baba Yaga shivering.

She had thought for a moment that she was giving Frank more than enough credit, only for him to surpass that.

It seemed like one must expect nothing less from the sole heir to the Lord of the Southern Woods…

It left Baba Yaga plenty regretful too.

She would never have accepted Hardy Xinder's request if she had known that Frank was this powerful, let alone contact her own family in Bralog. Now, not only was she going to die, but her sister Yora would end up the same too.

And she certainly knew that for a fact as she sensed Frank's pure vigor in her own body, which denied her the ability to use the endless methods she had at her disposal.

One false move, and Frank would kill her instantly.

"Now that things have come to this, I surrender," she murmured, clenching her knuckles as she looked up at Frank in frustration.

A single blunder had really cost Baba Yaga everything-not only was the brat exceedingly strong, but he was also sharp.

In time, he might become an unstoppable force just like his father.

That was when Frank said, "In that case, would you mind answering a few of my questions?"

"Ask away."

Baba Yaga had fought long enough to know that Frank was not going to spare her just because she answered his questions.

And while she appeared open to answering them, she was also wondering if she could state sol conditions so that Frank would let her live. Smart people never give up on survival until the very end, after all.

"Alright."

Frank nodded, inwardly impressed that the Corpsedale's east coast leader actually proved so adaptable.

As soon as she saw that she was at his mercy, she switched gears instantly and started begging for mercy while keeping her keen eye out for any possible shot at Survival. "What's your connection to Yora Yimmel? Frank asked. "Hardy Xinder is the one asking you to help his revenge, so why was Yora the one who moved against the Dane family instead?" Baba Yaga's answer was short and simple. "We're sisters."

"Sisters?!"

Frank did a double take.

However, that also explained everything.

It was true if the Lane family were to move as one against Frank, they needed someone who could claim full authority and speak for them.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1622-And with Mark Lane around, no one was chasing Helen or Frank out of the Lane family.

Baba Yaga leveled Frank a troubled look just then and sighed. "The plan was to come after you after the Lane family exiled you… but that's unnecessary now. The gap between us is insurmountable-schemes and traps are nothing but a joke in the face of absolute power.

"We were all working under the impression that the Lane family helped you to succeed… but sadly, it was the other way around." Hearing her sigh, Frank also realized how many thought his success was thanks to the Lane family, and Baba Yaga was no exception.

In other words, she was saying that she was convinced Frank would be nothing once he lost the Lane family, whom she had assumed were his backers.

At best, he was a young but accomplished martial artist.

The reality that Frank was really the one supporting the Lane family was an insider detail, something which escaped even key members and executives of the Lane family.

Frank nodded in turn-it seemed that Baba Yaga had simply picked her targets wrongly in the first place.

Watching her, he asked, "Any last words?"

"Last words… Can't I be allowed to live?" Baba Yaga laughed dryly, a pained look showing in her eyes.

The phrase 'life's a stage' certainly applied here…

She had really thought that this would be just a favor for an old friend, only for the mess to get worse on every turn, ending with her death. This was really not worth it.

"No," Frank said coolly, crushing Baba Yaga's last hope.

But in a split second, she looked up at him with a sharp glare. "You brat! Even you have to work for it if you want me dead!"

There was a brief flash as a thin thread launched out of Baba Yaga's sleeve, dripping with purple venom as it streaked toward Frank's neck. "Die!" Baba Yaga snapped, reinforcing the sharpness of the thread with pure vigor.

"You sweet summer child…"

Frank certainly noticed her movement, handily catching the thread and pulling, intending to snap it.

However, the thread proved endlessly malleable-it sliced a bloody gash into Frank's palm instead of snapping.

And seeing that gash, she roared with laughter, "You will suffer even if you might kill me! That's Autumnrot-a secret recipe of l Hundred Bane Sect. You will carry it with you for the rest of your life!"

As if on cue, Frank found a purple gas flowing from the gash and up to his arm.

"Autumnrot, you say?"

Frank had long since read Hundred Bane Anthology, which Jaud White had stolen from Hundred Bane Sect, committing it to memory.

He therefore instantly remembered the composition of the Autumnrot scoffing, "It melts the nerves and freezes the hearts and organs, but it's not enough against me!" Hence, as Baba Yaga looked on in shock, he tapped his arm's acupoints, directing his pure vigor's 6 and pushed the violent poison back out of his palm. Then, Frank swung his hand, flinging the Autumnrot at Baba Yaga and splashing it squarely at her eyes.

She howled as she clutched her face and dropped to the floor, flailing around violently.

When she stood up again, there were two deep, dark cavities where her eyes had been-her eyeballs and the flesh around had melted away. "You reap what you sow!"

Frank refused to give her another chance and pointed with a finger.

The pure vigor he infused inside Baba Yaga's body detonated right then.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1623-Baba Yaga screamed shrilly as she bled out of every orifice and dropped dead on the floor.

Frank's pure vigor crushed Baba Yaga's organs from the inside. Though she appeared alive on the outside, she was really as dead as a doornail. Frank also set a fire to burn her body along with her clinic just in case, destroying any evidence along with it.

Even if Hundred Bane Sect came looking, they would not get anything that could trace back to Frank-not unless Baba Yaga told them beforehand. With that, Frank hurried back to Riverton, attempting to call Gavin Lane and his family while he did.

When he could not reach any of them, Frank realized right away that Yora Yimmel must be involved. She must have sent her people to block all communications in Laneville, stifling all cell signals and anything else.

The only option Frank had now was to personally visit Laneville, but that posed another problem too.

While Frank would have no trouble eliminating Yora and her maiden family, she had now basically taken the Lane family hostage.

If Frank visited, she would most likely threaten him into submission with their lives.

Still, while Frank felt a headache about all that, he received a call from Peter. "Where are you right now, chief? The Yimmels just stormed Lanecorp Tower and are demanding that my sister give them the company!"

What?" Frank glanced outside at the moon, frowning.

It was two in the morning, but Yora could not wait at all and brought her people here in the middle of the night?!

"Calm down. I'll be right there," Frank said and hung up as he floored the gas pedal of his Veyron.

The supercar bellowed as it shot forward over the smooth road, and Frank arrived at Lanecorp Tower in around half an hour.

It was very late, but there was cursing and yelling where there should be silence, and people were clearly fighting.

When Frank reached them, he found Peter with a bruised face as he lay limply on the floor, his nose and mouth clearly taking a pounding.

"What's going on here?!" Frank asked, looking around and seeing that most of the other men left floored were from Lanecorp's health and safety department. They were all glaring furiously at a man in a black suit with a loose collar and chewing bubble gum.

"Really? Calling up your boss because you can't win?"

Dorek Yimmel raised his left foot and assumed a fighting stance, smiling in disdain. "Frank Lawrence, right? +heard you're pretty good, that you're some martial artist and shit… Oh you're killing me. "I don't know where you people get the confidence bragging about being martial artists, but you're all just snake oil salesmen. Let me show you a proper fight-but I don't know my strength, so don't blame me if I kill you!" Frank frowned at the pompous brat and the cameramen nearby. "You're from the Yimmel family? What are you doing here?" "What am I doing…?"

Dorek did a double take but soon laughed.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1624-"We're evicting you from Lanecorp!" Dorek laughed. "It belongs to us Yimmels from now on, along with anything else you own! Hand everything over!" Frank scowled. "So you're going to take it from us?"

"We are, and what about it?" Dorek chuckled confidently, twirling his bangs. "My great grandmother has taken over Laneville, and it's just a matter of time before we gobble up the rest. I'm just beating my brother to get the largest piece of the pie… So are you going to fight me or not? Show me your shitty Draconian martial arts!"

Dorek looked no more than eighteen, but he was utterly pompous and unseemly to the point of stupid.

Frank actually thought that might be the case did the brat think that beating Lanecorp's security and getting inside Helen's office meant taking over Laneocrp?

Still, he sighed exasperatedly as he glanced behind at the Lanecorp health and safety department personnel left on the floor.

Stupidity aside, the brat could throw a punch.

"What's your name?" Frank asked impassively.

"Urgh, what a pain." The youth rolled his eyes. "I'm Dorek Yimmel, Yora Yimmel's great-grandson. Look, if you're scared, just get your board chair out here and sign Lanecorp over to me. Or else… Hehehe."

Frank almost laughed at Dorek's naive demand.

Instead, he scowled, "You want to see Draconian martial arts? Very well."

"Oh, so you actually have some balls!"

Dorek appeared excited at Frank's challenge and assumed his fighting stance, wagging a finger at him provokingly. "I'll even let you have a free punch too."

"Alright."

Frank nodded and was suddenly right in front of Dorek.

Dorek's eyes widened, and he felt the agony in his stomach even before he could react. He then collapsed to his knees in front of Frank. "What…" He gasped.

"That's the Draconian martial arts you've been making light of."

Frank chuckled coolly and sent Dorek flying with an upwards kick as he looked on in shock.

Even as Dorek screamed, he crashed around like a rag dog before landing into the fountain at the square outside Lanecorp Tower. Dorek's bodyguards were left staring, dumbstruck.

After all, Dorek loved starting fights, and with the Yimmel family's importance protecting him, he grew conceitful with each passing day.

It was why the Yimmels did not let him train in Draconian martial arts-it was to keep him out of trouble.

Dorek, however, could not care less.

In fact, he went abroad to learn some unruly boxing techniques before returning to Bralog to start fights every other day. He had certainly made a name for himself as a hellraiser in Bralog.

And now, when he heard that Yora Yimmel was going to take over the Lane family, he rushed here to Zamri in the dead of night, challenging Lanecorp security guards to a fight. His own bodyguards would be beaten up if they dared to say no et and they certainly would not doit after getting accustomed to Dorek's temper over the years.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1625-The only one who could put Dorek in his place was his cousin Hagar Yimmel.

In fact, Hagar was not just a better fighter-he carried authority even in his family and was smarter, always knowing what he was doing.

That was why Dorek wanted to take over Lanecorp before the others did, claiming the largest piece of the pie so that Hagar did not get to be dismissive of him.

Clearly, Dorek was too simple-minded, knowing nothing about business management or shares, and only of turf wars and violence.

He worked under the impression that if he evicted the Lane family and beat up all their security guards, Lanecorp would in turn be his. In a way, his brain was wired differently.

Frank was left smiling in amusement as Peter Lane told him everything to think that the Yimmels would have such a treat in their midst! Still, the sight of Dorek being pulled out of the fountain gave him an idea.

There was no way he would turn away a hostage who came throwing himself into Frank's grasp.

And Yora had the Southstream Lane in her custody, did she not?

There was no way she could just ignore Frank using Dorek as leverage the brat was her great-grandson, after all!

With that in mind, Frank strode toward Dorek.

The man was on all fours, coughing water after his bodyguards pulled him out of the fountain.

Still, fear and panic showed in his eyes when he saw Frank arrive.

"W-Who's your boss?!"

Frank raised a brow at the thuggish slang-the brat was really a treat.

Still, he said, "Let's put that aside for a moment. So, do you admit that Draconian martial arts is better?"

"No!"

Surprisingly, Dorek sprang to his feet, yelling as he rushed Frank. "I only let you have that for free! Now, I-"

Dorek's attempt to blindside Frank with his elbow was easily parried Frank then clenched his fingers around Dorek's elbow even before he finished, leaving him squealing like a gutted pig. A visible black bruise appeared on Dorek's elbow, and he leapt away from Frank, clutching his arm and gasping. "So, do you want to continue?" Frank strode up, smiling.

"Guh…"

Dorek stumbled backward in fear but soon recovered, standing akimbo and smirking. "You little shit-I don't know where you come from, but I dare you to hit me again! I'm warning you… I'm from the Yimmel family, and Yora Yimmel is my matriarch! She will-"

Even before Dorek could finish, Frank had stomped his leg, leaving him screaming in agony. "Y-You're fucked… How dare_"

Smack!

Frank slapped him across the face right then, not holding back at all.

That in turn clear Dorek's head, and he was left staring at his goons who stood there uselessly.

At that point, he realized that his tried-and-true formula of name-dropping was really pointless against the behemoth who was Frank.

It did not matter if he was a child of the Yimmel family-Frank would slap him regardless.

Understanding that instantly, Dorek clutched his face as he cried, "Stop!

Just stop! I-I give up, alright?! You can have your Lanecorp… I'm leaving, okay?!"

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1626-Seeing how naive the rich playboy was, Frank sneered, his eyes narrowing. "Did you really think Lanecorp Tower is a place you can come and go as you please?"

"Shit! Well, what do you want? To kill me?!"

Dorek wheeled on him impatiently but stiffened when he saw the look on Frank's face, his heart skipping a beat.

Terror he had never known seized him, and a frightening thought occurred in his mind right then-the man might just really kill him!

"W-What do you want?! I'm telling you, I'm the third child of the main Yimmel family. If you lay a finger on me…"

Dorek trailed off, deflated since he had already pulled the same move before, only to get a vicious slap across the face.

Was there even a point to his threat now?

"Hehe…"

Even as Dorek felt afraid for his life, Frank suddenly chuckled, albeit savagely. "So… Yora Yimmel is in Laneville now?"

Dorek appeared taken aback but nodded hesitantly. "Y-Yes…"

Frank nodded. "In that case, I need you to do me a solid-you will bring the key members and executives of the Yimmel family to Zamri, where we can all meet up. How about that?"

"What?!"

Dorek was a little slow, but even he could realize immediately that he would be betraying his own family!

To make things worse, he was not just betraying one person, but his entire family!

He shook his head repeatedly, crying, "No chance! Just give up already-I'd rather die than become a traitor!" Frank's eyes narrowed threateningly. "Oh, really?"

Watching as Frank approached, Dorek's eyes widened in panic. "W-What are you doing?!"

Early next morning, Yora Yimmel was seated in the conference room of Laneville Manor.

Around her were many key members and executives of the Yimmel family, who had rushed there from Bralog.

Dorek's cousin, Hagar Yimmel, was among them.

He was in his thirties and had a chiseled face, though it belies his prudent nature.

In fact, he asserted a more conservative perspective when his matriarch asked for his opinion.

"Ma'am, we don't have the numbers,"

he said earnestly. "As such, ignoring our opponent's reaction while ruthlessly taking from them is just too drastic. It might lead to repercussions." Many of the family's executives actually agreed with Hagar's stance.

However, Yora clearly disagreed, even growling coolly, "Think about it-when Mark Lane started his 'e' @

business were his successes not result of our family's support? In other words, the Lane family's present accomplishments are all thanks to our family's investment, and it's high time that we take back what we deserve-with interest." "And now's the perfect opportunity that idiot Fleur Lang l.n has completely fallen for my sweet nothings, and I've crushed any dissenting voices remaining in the Lane family. We have nothing to worry about at this point. "You've all seen the numbers too, of how Lanecorp has been developing… They've basically taken over all of Zamri's resources and economy! If we take the company now, we will "

Thud, thud.

"Come in."

Someone was knocking on the door before Yora could finish, and she frowned in slight annoyance of being interrupted.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1627-A servant entered and reported, "Madam Yimmel, the Lanecorp board rejected our demand to oust Helen Lane… They insist that they have no right to demand her resignation because she's now the biggest individual shareholder of Lanecorp."

"What?!"

Yora was stunned and slammed her palm on the table as she sprang to her feet. "Nonsense! I'm Mark's proxy, and that means I have more shares than Helen! I'm the majority shareholder of Lanecorp, not her! I have the veto here!"

"Yes, ma'am, we've already looked into it…"

The servant kept his head lowered, wiping the sweat off his brow as he continued, "But just yesterday, Fleur Lang signed off all her shares to Helen Lane for some reason. That propels Helen Lane to majority shareholder with a single stroke…"

The servant trailed off, and everyone in the conference room was sharp enough to sense Yora's flaring rage.

"That bitch! How dare she… She stabbed me in the back!"

Yora slammed her palm on the table again.

She was just mocking Fleur Lang for being an idiot for falling for her lies, but it turned out Fleur had transferred all her shares to Helen?!

That was undoubtedly a resounding slap in the face!

While she was unaware that Fleur was forced to transfer her shares to Helen, Yora was left seething after losing the entire game for one bad move.

If she had known, she would have kept Fleur under control and ideally forced her to give up her shares.

It was certainly too late for regrets now-with majority control of Lanecorp's shares denied, control of Lanecorp also slipped out of Yora's fingers… and the Southstream Lanes', for that matter. Yora was just bragging that their risk was worth it too and pointed out that with Lanecorp's current prosperity, taking over the company meant they would establish themselves in Zamri. It did not matter what anyone said at that point-the Yimmels just had keep their foot down, and they would make something for themselves on the east coast. However, those dreams for the future were nothing but fantasy because of a single piece of paper.

In fact, everything that Yora had done now only got her into an awkward position, and she could somehow imagine Helen's smug smile.

What need would she have for the Southstream Lanes if she could not take Lanecorp from them?

The measly businesses unaffiliated with Lanecorp never caught Yora's eye, and she was especially eager to get her hands on their farm resort in Riverton.

That business was a golden goose, raking in a billion in profits every month.

As such, Yora was absolutely furious that she could do nothing but watch as that goose drifted further away from her grasp…

However, while the Yimmels were all trading glances, Yora's phone started ringing.

She snapped her fingers to have a servant bring it to her, and disappointment showed on her face when she saw that it was Dorek.

In her mind, her great-grandson must have caused trouble somehow, as it was a routine for him to call her and ask her to clean up after him whenever he did.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1628-In Yora's mind, her great-grandson Dorek must have caused trouble somehow, as it was a routine for him to call her and ask her to clean up after him whenever he did.

However, Yora was herself feeling grumpy at the moment and hung up since she had no patience to find out what trouble Dorek had caused now.

It was therefore surprising that Dorek called her again, and the ringing in the silent conference room left Yora endlessly annoyed.

She eventually gave in and answered, snapping impatiently, "Dorek-whatever this is about, it can wait. I'm busy right now."

Still, Dorek quickly exclaimed before she could hang up, "Please, Madam Yimmel! Don't hang up-I just did something amazing for the family!"

Hearing that, Yora glanced in confusion at the other members of the Yimmel family, all perplexed too.

In everyone's mind, Dorek was the typical troublemaking rich playboy who never did anything for the family.

If anything, they were just happy that he was not causing trouble.

"Ahem… And what did you do, Dorek?" Yora asked, mustering what was left of her patience to listen.

She needed the distraction anyway, as they were out of ideas on what to do with Lanecorp.

Dorek began, "So I headed to Zamri yesterday, and-"

"What?! You went to Zamri?!"

Everyone already sensed danger upon hearing that the little hellraiser was definitely up to nothing good if he went to Zamri.

In all likelihood, he must have started another fight!

Dork gulped over the phone as he imagined the stares being thrown his way and smiled. "Calm down… See, I heard from a servant about Lanecorp and headed to Lanecorp Tower…"

"I knew it…"

Everyone was groaning, seemingly expecting just that.

Even Yora was sighing et exasperatedly. "It's not as simple as you think, Dorek. Just come over to Laneville-you're no match for Frank Lawrence." She was certainly worried that Frank would take Dorek hostage.

In fact, her worst fear had already come through as Frank stood, watching Dorek.

Even as he was basically sobbing,

he kept his tone light as he read Frank's script. "It's alright. I heard from his men that he went to Norsedam yesterday and has yet to return. But more importantly, I've captured Helen Lane." "What?!"

Every member of the Yimmel family was "You've captured dishocked, while Yora r Burent Lane?! Are you serious?!"

in "Of course! Why would I lie to you?" Dorek exclaimed. "You can hear it from her if you don't believe me—"

"Dorek Yimmel! What do you think you're doing?!"

When the Yimmels present all heard Helen's angry outburst, surprise and delight showed on all their faces.

Yora especially could barely contain herself.

After all, they were just told that they had no chance of taking over Lanecorp, but things had certainly turned around now!

Helen Lane, the head of Lanecorp, was somehow captured by a lowly member of the Yimmel family talk about an unexpected blessing!

The last hour had certainly been like riding a roller coaster, especially for Yora.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1629-"Well done, Dorek!" Yora exclaimed. "I'll properly reward you when I get there!"

"Thank you, ma'am!" Dorek replied enthusiastically.

Yora could barely hide her smile even as she hung up.

The other members of the Yimmel family were certainly smiling too. They had been hesitant earlier, but all of them now ready to stake their claim on Lanecorp after being told that they had Helen in custody.

"Hahaha! Congratulations, Madam Yimmel! Lanecorp is truly ours now!"

"I'm surprised that Frank Lawrence would leave Zamri now. Where could he have gone?"

"Doesn't matter where he is. We have Helen Lane, and Lanecorp will be Yimmelcorp before long!"

"Yes!" Yora nodded and started issuing orders. "Bring the share transfer agreement with you. We will head to Zamri and banish Helen Lane from the Lane family now!"

Then, turning and pointing at a middle-aged man, she laughed. "Cadell, I'm surprised your hopeless boy could somehow achieve something so remarkable out of the blue. Once we claim Lanecorp as our own, your family will be rewarded handsomely!"

"T-Thank you, Madam Yimmel!" Cadell bowed, overjoyed.

However, before the rest of the Yimmels could pop champagne and begin celebrating, Hagar Yimmel, who had been seated quietly, began hesitantly, "Everyone… don't you think that Dorek is setting a trap? It feels like someone dug a pit and is waiting for us to jump in…"

The vibes in the room were at once awkward at his words.

"Watch your mouth, Hagar!" Cadell was snapping at him right then. " know you never think highly of Dorek, famut he's still a member of the family! Do you think he'd side with outsiders against our own? "Exactly."

Another elder of the family stroked his beard and sighed. "The boy can be hopeless on occasion, but he's always enthusiastic when it comes to claiming achievements."

"It makes sense given his usual temperament, rushing to Lanecorp to grab Helen without thinking about the consequences."

"He's simply lucky that Frank Lawrence wasn't around, and he's quite the fighter even if he's no martial artist. That certainly explains everything."

While the other Yimmels were busy speculating, Hagar still did not budge and turned toward Yora. "What I'm most concerned about is what Derek said about Frank Lawrence, ma'am. He said hel fet sneaked off to Norsedam, but why? Do you know anything about that?" Yora did not even need to wonder about Hagar's question, especially when the location was Norsedam.

After all, if Frank went to Norsedam, he must be chasing after Baba Yaga, Yora's own sister.

But since most members in the Yimmel family were unaware of Yora's connection with Baba Yaga, Yora did not bother to explain herself.

Waving Hagak off dismissively, she said, "Dorek isn't lying about Frank Lawrence's whereabouts-and that's all I can tell you for now. But just in case, you should stay here, white everyone else comes with me to Zamri and take over Lanecorp!" SW "Yes, ma'am!" the Yimmels answered at once, acknowledging their matriarch's orders.

After all, he knew his cousin Dorek best, and the motives as well as actions certainly fit… However, he still felt as if something was out of place.

The Girlboss Begs For Remarriage Chapter 1630-As the feeling never faded even as Hagar watched his matriarch and entourage leave Laneville Manor in a hurry, he could not help feeling even more wary inwardly.

Meanwhile, as every member of the Yimmel family moved out, Frank clapped Dorek Yimmel on the shoulder. "Well done."

Dorek could only smile exasperatedly at the praise, as Frank's tender loving care continued throughout the night.

He shuddered, remembering Frank's smile as he pulled out the needle from himself and the smile on his face now.

The horror that was the man was now deeply ingrained in his mind, just as two needles taught him the worst pain there is in life.

He trembled even as he remembered his pain and could kill the Dorek from yesterday who came to establish himself.

He would never dare spout rubbish like Draconia's martial artists being charlatans or whatnot either, having gotten a lesson to remember yesterday. He had surrendered unconditionally to that extreme torment.

Never betraying the Yimmels?

Hostile takeover?

None of that mattered now he was willing to do anything as long as Frank let him live.

Even Frank was left wondering if he went too far, as he watched Dorek sit limply on the floor, staring into thin air.

Still, he soon remembered that a rich kid like Dorek would never get hurt or punished, and that it was only natural that he broke down when he was put through a pain that would make him wish he was dead.

Shaking his head, Frank threw Dorek out of his thoughts and called Burt Yorkman, the top law enforcement officer of Riverton was still his apprentice, after all.

"Bring your men and rescue the Lane family from Laneville Manor. Yeah, you should go right now."

After giving Burt his orders, Frank turned to see the swollen-faced Peter Lane and chuckled before throwing him a pill.

"Dissolve that in a glass of water and share it with the boys," he said.

"After that, contact Terry Cotton and call up every member of the Lanecorp health and safety el.ne department. Try to hide everyone in Lanecorp Tower without drawing attention." Chuckling coolly, Frank then finished, "If there's not enough space, have them wait outside. We're hosting a party for Yora Yimmel."

"Alright!" Peter exclaimed and left excitedly with the pill.

"Frank, don't you think this is too much?" Helen asked.

She was naturally aware of how many personnel were working in Lanecorp's health and safety department. Forget Lanecorp Tower-they would fill several skyscrapers! "It's fine."

Frank smiled. "Since the Yimmels are intent on using violence, we just have to show them who really owns Zamri!"

Helen could not help smiling in relief, seeing such confidence from Frank.

There was an ounce of sentiment in her gaze too, as Frank turned the tables when things appeared so dire for them.

On every occasion he worked his magic, Helen was no different from an innocent maiden, waiting for his helping hand, even though she was the head of a billion dollar company. At that moment, she was suddenly wondering what on earth she had been thinking, when she was rejecting him in the past…
