Ch. 376..380: The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife Chapter 376-380

Chapter 376: Chapter 376 – The media representatives have surrounded the building

Robin arrived on time for the meeting and smoothly delivered all the reports on behalf of Sabrina.

He portrayed himself as Sabrina’s husband and business partner, and no one dared to question him.

Most of the CEOs worked under him, and even those who didn’t still saw him as more powerful than them.

With Robin’s presence, everything moved faster than expected. After the CEOs left, Robin stayed back with his bodyguard to compile the responses to the report for Sabrina, occasionally sipping water.

He wanted to order supper, but knowing that grandma Cecilia would be home waiting for them, he knew she wouldn’t accept that Robin had allowed Sabrina to eat out when she was there.

Suddenly, his eyes grew heavy with a warning to sleep, which was very strange. "Joe, I feel strangely exhausted," Robin complained, unable to hold it any longer.

He grabbed his phone to alert Laura or Aria to let Sabrina know that he might be late returning to the office because he wanted to take a nap.

"Sir, I don’t know why I’m feeling so sleepy. I hardly ever nap during the day and even at night, it’s only for a few..." he trailed off when he saw that Robin’s head was on the table with his phone in his hand.

Joe attempted to carry him to one of the hotel rooms but collapsed on the floor, unconscious.

The door opened and two men entered, wearing face masks. One of them waved their hand in front of Joe’s face and said,

"It worked. The knockout gas was super-fast."

Robin had no idea that the vents had been tampered with and knockout gas had been pumped through them. One of the men injected him with a sedative to sleep longer since the gas would wear off as soon as he was carried out of the room.

"I honestly didn’t think it would work like the boss said. This is something I’ve never used before, but since the hotel staff were so vigilant that we couldn’t tamper with their water, this was the best option," the second man said.

"Let’s carry him," the first one said, as his counterpart injected Joe as well. They were already trying to lift Robin, while the second man asked,

"What about the bodyguard?"

"We will come back for him. We can lock him up in the closet," the first guard said as they carried Robin out of the conference room, unconcerned about the cameras, most of which had been tampered with.

In the Presidential suite, a half-naked woman awaited on the large luxurious bed as Robin was gently placed beside her, the guards afraid he might wake up.

The woman stared at his handsome features admiringly, not knowing who Robin was. She had been brought in from a different state because most of the girls they tried to hire had refused the job.

They all remembered the public ridicule and pain Robin had caused Zayla, and none dared to come close to him.

"I wish he wasn’t sleeping. I would have loved to have him for real," the woman said flirtatiously, running her fingers through Robin’s curly hair.

"Do what you must. We don’t have time," one of the men said in annoyance as they went to bring the bodyguard.

By the time they locked him inside the closet, the woman had finished undressing Robin and laid beside him.

One of the men pulled out a camera and said, "ready."

The girl proceeded to manipulate Robin’s unconscious body into various compromising positions. After a few minutes, she kissed Robin’s forehead and said, "done."

The men then informed their boss over the phone, "sir, the job is done."

The man on the other end of the line smiled, pleased with the successful outcome.

He instructed his hacker, "Wipe everything from the cameras. Don’t keep any backups for anyone to hack into. Even the phones of the men I sent and that of the woman should be hacked and all traces removed." He paused and added,

"Then use an anonymous number to send it to the media with the words I’m about to say to you."

The hacker, though unhappy with the task, didn’t have the courage to speak up. "Yes sir, I’m listening," he responded with a forced smile.

The man then began to dictate the words to be sent to the media.

"The circulating pictures of President Robin Jewel of the Jewel Group of Companies suggest that he may not be as remorseful and in love with his ex-wife as he claims to be. Secret cameras caught the president in one of his hotels, specifically the Crystal Hotel, with an unidentified woman.

He paused and swallowed his spew before he continued, as the hacker was quickly typing out the words on a notepad.

"After all that the President confessed that his ex-wife did for him, he still could not be faithful and treat her like the queen he deceitfully calls her. I must say that his ex-wife must equally be blinded by love to be with him, or better still, has no self-value."

It was almost as if his long lecture had ended, but then, as if he just remembered something, he added,

"I believe he is still in the hotel with his secret lover. If you don’t believe me, then go to Presidential suite number 2501 at the Crystal Hotel to see."

The news circulated like wildfire and nasty comments flew in all angles. As Sabrina watched the pictures and read the wordings, she quivered.

In frustration, she threw the phone against the wall, causing it to fall and break.

"Miss James, are you alright?" Laura entered the inner room and asked with concern when she heard the unusual noise.

She had also seen and heard the news, suspecting it was the reason for Sabrina’s agitation. However, Sabrina’s response brought tears to her eyes.

"How can I be okay when someone is trying so hard to ruin Robin’s reputation? He worked so hard and yet, this happened," Sabrina complained, tears welling up in her eyes.

It took time for her words to sink in as Laura asked, "Wait, you don’t believe it?"

Sabrina shook her head and explained, "Robin would never do that. Before, maybe, but not the kind of man he is now."

Laura was shocked, wondering how Sabrina could still believe that Robin was innocent when the evidence was so clear.

Those pictures didn’t look edited. "People change."

Sabrina shook her head in disagreement and wiped her tears. "I saw him before he left for the meeting. Laura, even if Robin would be weak enough to hurt me, it wouldn’t be when I’m pregnant with his children."

Laura froze, realizing that Robin was not so heartless to hurt his heavily pregnant ex-wife. "You’re right. Something must be wrong."

"Something is very wrong," Sabrina agreed, searching her mind on whom to ask for help, as her phone began ringing. At the same time, the door opened and Aria turned on the light since it was growing dark.

She announced, "The media representatives have surrounded the building.

Chapter 377: Chapter 377 – Sabrina’s determination.

"What do they want?" Sabrina forced herself to remain calm, as she had never faced the media alone before.

She remembered that both times she had dealt with the media, she was with either Robin or Martin.

Now that one of those men had betrayed her and the other was in trouble, it was time for her to stand on her own.

Aria was afraid that if Sabrina knew, she would leave Robin for good. But with the presence of the media, she could not hold it in.

"Have you not heard? I don’t think Mr. Jewel would do that. Maybe someone drugged him," she took a stand, hoping that Sabrina wouldn’t go into premature labor because of this.

"How long has the news been trending?" Sabrina asked calmly, trying to gauge whether the news had traveled far or not.

If it hadn’t, she could face the media to counter it and slow down the spread. "Like twenty minutes."

Sabrina’s heart warmed a little, knowing that all was not lost. She needed someone to take down the news and also knew that the media were only there to test her resolve on the effect of the news on her.

"So, it wasn’t long before I woke up. Daniel is still on his honeymoon and I don’t think it would be right to disturb him. Let me call my brother," she thought aloud.

Sabrina was about to dial Devin’s number when she saw the phone ringing. It was her father and she tensed up, fearing that he was going to tell her to break off the engagement and come home.

Before Cobby could say anything, Sabrina interjected, "Dad, please don’t judge him. Someone tried to set him up in the office before but failed. I think it’s the same person behind it."

On the other end of the line, Cobby felt a sense of relief as he had expected Sabrina to be upset with Robin.

Cobby didn’t believe the news, especially since there were no videos, only pictures. He couldn’t tell if Robin was in his right mind without a video, and he suspected that one of Robin’s enemies was involved.

"I’m glad you feel that way. I thought you would be upset," Cobby said with a smile. Sabrina forced a small smile and replied,

"No. I want to go to the hotel to check on him, so I’m calling Devin to come and get me."

Cobby frowned, not liking the idea. He asked her, "Have you called Robin?"

"You’re right. I should call him," Sabrina agreed.

She ended the call and dialed Robin’s number, but only heard the robotic voice telling her that the phone was switched off.

She wanted to call the bodyguard but realized she didn’t have his number, so she called Devin. She was slightly surprised when a female voice answered.

"Brina, Devin is busy because Lizzy isn’t around. I’m trying to help, but I can’t do much because I don’t have much knowledge in fashion design," Matilda said from the other end of the line.

Ever since buying the car for Devin, she began working on her business but was always with Devin since her business had not kickstarted yet.

It was easy when Lizzy was around, but since she went on her honeymoon, Devin would sometimes have to work overtime to cover up.

"It’s urgent, Tilda, I have to talk to him," Sabrina maintained the calmness in her voice, though her heart rate increased.

However, her teary voice did not go unnoticed by Matilda. "Why are you crying? Should I come over?" Matilda asked worriedly, afraid that Sabrina was in labor.

Then again, she kicked against it, knowing she would be the first person Sabrina would call if she was indeed in labor. "Okay, let me give him the phone." Sabrina heard her speaking on the side. "It’s your sister. She said it’s urgent."

Devin stopped whatever he was doing and took the phone from her, asking, "Brina, are you alright? Where is Robin?"

"His phone is switched off. Can you check the Crystal hotel? There are so many media reps here, so I don’t want to go out," Sabrina composed herself and said. Devin frowned in confusion.

"Media reps? What do they want?"

Sabrina confirmed her suspicions that Devin had not heard the news. If he had, he would have been the first to call or even gone in search of her.

"Check the trending news, but I know that Robin is innocent. Please check on him," Sabrina pleaded, careful not to upset Devin about Robin.

"Okay. I will do so, but where are you?" Devin asked seriously, filled with worry for Sabrina upon learning that something had happened to Robin.

"In his office. He attended the meeting on my behalf because I wasn’t feeling well," Sabrina revealed. Devin’s worry grew as he decided to find ways to make it to her on time.

"Don’t worry. I will see you soon," Devin reassured Matilda. He wanted to take her to keep Sabrina company, but he also needed to check on Robin first. He pleaded with Matilda,

"Tilda, let me drop you at my father’s office while I check on Robin. If he indeed knows nothing about it, he would be embarrassed by your presence."

"I understand," Matilda agreed.

At Robin’s office, Sabrina washed her face to feel a little refreshed. Aria was worried because of calls from the security at the entrance wanting to know whether or not to let the media reps in.

"What do we do now? Should I tell security to send them away? I can also get HR or some of the CEOs to come and handle it," she suggested.

Sabrina wanted to agree but then again, could not allow herself to hide in a situation like this. "No. I will meet the media myself."

Aria was afraid, especially in Sabrina’s condition, as she knew how ruthless these people could be with their words and advised against it, "Sabrina, I won’t advise it."

However, the defiance and determination in Sabrina’s words forced hope into her heart. She never knew Sabrina to be so tough.

"Robin is willing to do anything for me. Even though I can’t reach him, I can at least mitigate some of the damage before we ask Daniel to take down the news," Sabrina said. Aria conceded, acknowledging her authoritative tone.

"Okay, I’ll stand by you for moral support," Aria agreed.

"I’ll be there to defend you," Laura declared firmly.

With the support of the women, Sabrina found some solace as she fought back tears and resolved to protect the Jewel Group from the shame of the scandal.

Chapter 378: Chapter 378 – Doing it for favor.

As soon as Sabrina stepped out of the elevator, the media swarmed her, but Laura did her best to keep them away.

She also called for backup from the agency, knowing that Robin would pay for their service once the chaos was cleared.

Luckily, they arrived amidst the chaos and their intimidating presence caused the media to behave.

"Miss James, we went to your office but you weren’t there. Your secretary informed us that you were here," a media representative said.

Sabrina raised her brows, wondering if it was a comment or statement. In the end, she decided not to respond, as the next media rep spoke. "Miss James, what is your reaction to the news?"

"What news?" Sabrina pretended not to know, finding the question silly. The rep was slightly embarrassed and asked her,

"Have you not seen? There is news everywhere about your ex-husband having a secret lover. What do you have to say about that?"

Sabrina raised her brow again, contemplating whether to answer the question or not. Somehow, she found herself being sarcastic.

After all, she was not in a bad mood. "Well, you already addressed him as my ex-husband so why should it bother me?"

The rep who asked the question lowered her head, hiding her shame and not knowing how to make Robin look bad in Sabrina’s eyes like that mysterious man had instructed her to do.

Another one asked, "Miss James, there have been videos and pictures of you two being intimate and sharing a few kisses in public. We also heard about your engagement."

The corner of Sabrina’s lips tilted into a sneer. "What is the point?"

The reps were shocked, not expecting her to be so direct and sassy. They all thought she was a quiet woman who would be intimidated by their presence and cameras, but the fifteen or so media reps with cameras in front of Sabrina did nothing to break her.

"Miss James, are you saying that you don’t care about the news?"

"What do you want me to say?" Sabrina asked in return. The rep realized the mistake in his question and rephrased it,

"Miss James, are you going to break up with Mr. Jewel because of his secret lover?"

Sabrina pursed her lips, considering which question was worth answering. "That is a private matter," she replied.

"What about the effect this news is having on his businesses?" Another rep inquired. Sabrina saw this as an opportunity to protect the Jewel Group from any shame.

"I believe that there is nothing hidden under the sun and whoever is behind this false news will pay for it."

Up until now, the reps had no idea about Sabrina’s stance on the matter. It was only made clear now and, of course, sowed a seed of excitement in them.

"Miss James, what makes you think it’s false news? For as long as we know, everything seems authentic."

Sabrina chuckled, but her eyes were cold as she responded to the attack. "Do I have to remind you all that when Robin did those things in the past, he was not afraid to hide it?"

The reps went quiet, nodding their heads in agreement. It was clear by then that Robin never cared what kind of news they carried and would always allow himself to be seen in compromising positions with different women.

"Yes, he was always seen around and he wouldn’t care what the reports said."

"Great. So why would he lie if he hasn’t changed?" Sabrina asked again. Confusion mirrored in their faces, but the depth of her question settled in their minds as one of them asked,

"Miss James, are you saying that somebody set him up?"

Sabrina did not have proof and was not ready to admit it on public television, so she said,

"I’m saying that somebody drugged him and you know what, I will find all the proofs and make sure that whoever is behind this, dances to the music."

"Miss James, how can you be sure?" One of the reps asked, a little nervous. But Sabrina was consumed with so much anger, she did not notice it.

"Because as of now, his phone lines would not go through. Do you really think that as the businessman Robin is, he would allow his phone to go off?"

"Ehmmm NO," the rep who asked the question answered, looking everywhere but refusing to meet Sabrina’s scrutinizing gaze. Whereas, she was not done.

And do you really think that if he wanted to cheat, he would do it when there are so many business partners waiting for him?"

Realizing there was no way to get around Sabrina’s wisdom, one of them asked again, "Miss James, I agree with your analysis but who do you think is behind it?"

Sabrina smiled again, taking a deep breath, but it did not reach her eyes. "I have my suspicions but I will not give out any information until I have proof."

Some of the reps were uncomfortable, but one of them did not want to lose the rest of the money promised to him by the man who set them up to all this and said,

"Miss James, don’t you think you are being blinded by love to defend him as the news says?" Sabrina was upset with the question and didn’t want to answer it, but also could not allow them to keep carrying such a lame information.

She was about to speak, but the moment she opened her mouth, a familiar voice spoke behind her, and she was shocked.

"Mrs. Jewel is not blind. Mr. Jewel is one of the most disciplined people I have come across. He has his reasons for doing the things he did in the past, but this is unlike him. I will help Mrs. Jewel to get to the bottom of this," Ben, Aria’s husband, spoke behind Sabrina.

It felt good to have another person share in Robin’s defense, and Sabrina was grateful for it.

His appearance was a surprise to the media reps, and clad in a black suit, he looked endearing.

"Excuse me, sir, who are you?" one of the reps asked politely. Ben replied,

"I am the CEO of Jewel Can Products. You are all quick to judge Mr. Jewel, but I believe, just like his wife, that he is innocent in all this."

The reps were not liking this new interference. They all knew that Sabrina was blind before and could say that she still was, but for her to slice others’ support could crumble their attacks against Robin.

"It’s because he is your boss. You are doing it to get favor," another media rep said, and the rest were nodding their heads in agreement.

"I also believe that Mr. Jewel is innocent," another CEO from another company under the Jewel Group said. He was at the meeting with Robin earlier and could also not believe it because Robin was still working when he left.

"I know you, sir, you are also doing it for favor," one of the media reps said, since that CEO was quite popular.

Before the CEO could defend himself, another voice spoke, sending warmth to Sabrina’s heart...

Chapter 379: Chapter 379 – Robin’s pain

"Am I also doing it as a favor?" Cobby’s voice rang out behind them. Sabrina turned around and hugged her father, tears in her eyes upon hearing his voice.

She hadn’t expected him to come, and he was with Matilda. After speaking with Sabrina earlier, he was about to leave the office to offer her emotional support when Devin called to say he was dropping Matilda off.

They met at the underground car park and drove in different directions; Devin to the Crystal Hotel and Cobby to Jewel Group.

From the relieved smile on Sabrina’s face, he knew he had made the right decision to come.

Cobby was well respected, so his presence changed the atmosphere. The reporters couldn’t believe that all these prominent people trusted Robin completely.

"Mr. James, do you also believe that Mr. Jewel is innocent?" another media representative couldn’t help asking.

Before Cobby could open his mouth, a female voice spoke up.

"I have worked with Mr. Jewel for years as his secretary, and even when he was womanizing, he never made advances at me. Mr. Jewel is principled, and I also believe that he is innocent," Aria said.

Before the representatives could ask another question, more of the CEOs, including managers, executives, HRs, and even Laura, added their voices in Robin’s defense.

The media representatives left defeated without looking back.

Sabrina turned around with tears in her eyes. "Thank you all very much. I know that you won’t regret it."

All these managers were not expecting any favors, as she had been thinking. They all saw the transformation in Robin and had witnessed it when Zayla confessed everything.

One of them said, "It’s the truth, ma’am. All Mr. Jewel has ever cared about is you," before Cobby hugged Sabrina again and said to her,

"I love the fact that you remained bold and defended what you believed."

***

At a secret location, Jacob was seething with anger, while his hacker was quietly amused. Jacob had managed to drug and take incriminating pictures of Robin, but Sabrina still didn’t believe him, rendering all his efforts pointless.

Jacob shouted, "How could they not believe me after seeing those pictures? His reputation should be ruined, not improved. Are they insane?"

His hacker remained silent until Jacob demanded, "Tell me, are they insane?"

He met the hacker’s gaze, forcing him to look away before responding, "Sir, the public has already seen Mr. Jewel’s transformation. This won’t bring him down. Why not confront him directly about whatever he took from you?"

Jacob scowled and stood up straight, his anger evident as he realized his mother’s words had come true once again.

"It’s too late for that. He can call for my arrest if he finds out I’m the one behind this," Jacob said.

He felt that the hacker was right and he should have had a talk with Robin first. But since he had already resorted to defaming Robin’s character, it would be very difficult to avoid arrest if Robin found out.

The hacker was persistent and encouraged him. "But if he indeed has something that belongs to you, then your actions can also be justified."

Jacob was almost moved by the hacker’s words but could not help feeling that his mother was right about certain things.

"He is heartless," Jacob mused. His hacker agreed but also added,

"He is also just. Do you know that he paid people to protect Gladys? After how she almost ruined his relationship, he still understood that it wasn’t her fault."

Jacob was beginning to feel like his hacker sounded so much like his mother. It was unacceptable to him, so he yelled,

"Shut up. You don’t know anything. Focus on your work."

The hacker pressed his lips together and did not say anymore. He already knew that his boss had a bad temper.

At the Crystal Hotel

The staff were on edge. They had no idea if the whole thing was real or just a setup, as the cameras had not captured anything.

They couldn’t find anything on their CCTVs and were afraid to go to the presidential suite.

They knew that the only person who had the authority and audacity to check into any of the rooms without being caught by a camera was the boss himself, since he had access to all the cameras and could manipulate them as he pleased.

Devin arrived and, since they knew him as Sabrina’s brother, they didn’t stop him when he went to the presidential suite.

The door was not locked and Robin lay in the bed alone. The woman was gone. "Robin, wake up."

Devin shook Robin and he woke up immediately, confusion clouding his mind, and he felt a little dizzy.

"Why am I here? What are you doing here? Where is Joe?" Robin asked groggily. Realizing that he was naked, his frown deepened, as he had no idea when he removed his clothes.

"Who is Joe?" Devin asked, interrupting his thoughts. If Robin was with someone, could that person be the one behind it?

Devin’s suspicions were instantly cleared. "My bodyguard," Robin revealed. Devin wanted to ask more but was interrupted by a knock from the closet.

Curiously, he went to check as Joe stepped out. Devin could not make head or tail of what had happened between the bodyguard and his master.

"What were you doing in there?" Devin asked. "Are you responsible for the scandal?"

Joe was equally confused since he couldn’t remember how he got into the closet and was even surprised by hearing about a scandal.

Before he could voice his innocence, Robin said, "That is Joe, my bodyguard."

Robin was already buttoning his shirt, not knowing what had happened but not feeling comfortable being naked with his fellow men.

Since there hadn’t been any intercourse, he didn’t suspect anything strange with his body.

"Robin, what are you doing here?" Daniel asked seriously. Robin shook his head and replied,

"I don’t know how I got here."

Devin pursed his lips thoughtfully, remembering what Sabrina had said and showed him the news on his phone.

Robin’s eyes were red as pain slashed through his heart. "I failed her again but I only drank water. I don’t remember what happened after I began to feel sleepy," he said in an almost teary voice, afraid that he hurt Sabrina again...

Chapter 380: Chapter 380 – I don’t deserve her

The bodyguard was filled with fear and anxiety, feeling like he had failed in his duty to protect his boss. He couldn’t even remember how they had ended up in this situation, but he did recall considering finding a room for his boss when he started to feel sleepy.

"Sir, I wanted to help you to a room but I also began to feel sleepy. I’m so sorry but I don’t know how we got here," he confessed.

Robin suspected his half-brother, wondering why he would do such a thing. After all, this was his hotel, so how could his half-brother have access?

Robin realized that he couldn’t blame anyone but himself, feeling like he must have unknowingly done something wrong again.

Frantically searching for his phone, he found it at his side, but it was turned off. Robin frowned, sensing that someone was behind this and decided he would have to speak to the hotel manager.

"Who turned it off? I don’t turn off my phone," he muttered, before remembering that Sabrina wasn’t feeling well. "Where is Sabrina?"

Devin was at a loss, feeling overwhelmed by the strange circumstances. If they were at a different hotel, he might have suspected someone else, as Sabrina had suggested, but this was Robin’s hotel, where he was the one in charge.

He watched helplessly as Robin turned on the phone, shock and paleness on his face as Devin realized Robin was clueless in all of this.

When Robin saw the caption and pictures, his eyes welled up with tears, feeling that the news must have traveled far already. This was the first time he ever felt the need to give up in pursuit of his ex-wife.

"I hurt her too much. It’s over," Robin said bitterly, fighting back his tears. If someone was behind it, then the person really broke him this time.

"What are you talking about?" Daniel asked, confused. But Robin’s eyes were blinded with tears as he dialed Sabrina’s number.

She answered on the first ring. "My King, where are you?" Sabrina was happy that he was fine, but Robin’s words caused a slight confusion in her mind.

"My queen, I know that this is too much for you. I will understand if you want to leave me. All I ever brought you was pain."

Sabrina was feeling confused, unsure if he had actually done what the news had reported. If that was the case, then facing the media was pointless.

However, she was willing to trust his side of the story and asked earnestly, "Robin, did you do it?"

"I honestly don’t remember," Robin replied. He was willing to take responsibility for his actions, and if it turned out that he had indeed cheated on Sabrina, whether knowingly or unknowingly, he was prepared to face the consequences and accept whatever decision she made.

"Check yourself. Even if you did it under the influence of drugs, you would know," Sabrina said softly, causing Robin to wonder how she could remain so calm in this situation, especially after the hurtful comments made about her.

He would deal with the media and the person responsible later, but right now, he was more concerned about Sabrina’s feelings towards him.

"I don’t feel like I did anything. I don’t even know the girl. I’ve never seen her before," Robin said, sounding confused.

Daniel was not there, and Robin had already given Peter a job. He hadn’t received a report yet and was wondering how to ask him for another favor so soon.

I’m still at your office. Come and let’s talk," Sabrina said seriously. Her father, Laura, and Matilda were all waiting for Robin to arrive. The CEOs, managers, and executives had left, but Aria and her husband still remained.

"Okay, but I’m sorry for everything," Robin apologized. As he was about to hang up, Sabrina asked him, "Why are you apologizing when it wasn’t your fault?"

Robin pursed his lips, feeling like this was his karma for the reckless life he lived in the past. "If I hadn’t lived such a life in the past, no one would have tried this."

Sabrina forced a smile, trying to calm herself as best she could, and said, "It’s alright. We have to get to the root of it."

Robin feared a little. If he indeed slept with another woman, he was not sure that he would be able to forgive himself. "Alright, I’m coming."

"Sabrina was the first person to tell me that you were innocent. She even faced the media and defended you," Daniel said after Robin ended the call, the latter was pale from shock.

"She did?"

"I guess you didn’t finish watching the news," Daniel gave his phone to Robin to watch the latest news.

’President Robin Jewel’s ex-wife and now fiancé, has refused to believe that her ex-husband cheated on her again. There were also support from other top workers from the Jewel Group and her father, Mr. Cobby Jewel.’

’She claims that she would get to the bottom of it but recapping President’s Jewel’s past, we can’t tell if she was just blinded by love or utterly foolish.’

When Robin watched Sabrina’s interview with the media and how all his workers including his father-in-law stood up for him, he was moved but most especially, he felt that he owed that exceptional woman, as tears rolled down his cheek.

"I don’t deserve her," he mused. The media were not even gentle on her, considering her pregnancy, but she refused to give up, standing strong for what she believed in.

Devin disagreed with Robin’s statement, saying, "I think that you two deserve each other. What is love if you can’t stand up for one another?"

When Robin reached the underground car park with Devin, he had no idea that reporters were waiting for him. He was bombarded with questions from all angles, like rain.

"Mr. Jewel, why did you cheat on your pregnant ex-wife?"

"Your ex-wife said you are innocent. Is that true?"

"Mr. Jewel, aren’t you being inconsiderate by cheating on your ex-wife after confessing that she was the only one?"

As Robin listened to their questions, his countenance was cold and his gaze darkened as he remembered how they had called Sabrina some inappropriate words.

Somehow, it gave him the zeal to investigate this matter and his response made the media representatives weak at the knees...
