"Fletcher, why are you stopping me?" Howard was shocked.

Not wanting his attack to injure his comrades by mistake, he immediately withdrew his true energy and ceased the attack.

"Howard, this young man looks a lot like someone I know… There's something I'd like to ask him…" Fletcher explained and turned to look at Leon.

"Kid, your name is Hugh Wolf, right? Are you perhaps Mister Wolf from the southern region?" Fletcher asked.

"Mister Caldicot?" Leon studied the old man before him and soon recognized him.

Some time ago, Alfred received a request from the western branch of Dragon Corps for help to eliminate the Poisonwielder.

Fletcher was none other than the leader of the special force arranged to accomplish the mission.

"It really is you, Mister Wolf!" Fletcher was overjoyed.

When Leon led a team to the western region, he wore a mask that covered half his face and told everyone his name was Hugh.

At the time, Fletcher did not have the chance to see Leon's face. Hence, he did not recognize Leon right away when he arrived.

However, upon hearing the Feaks mention Hugh's name, he realized that Leon's figure and height matched with what he knew about "Hugh" perfectly.

Hence, he recognized Leon right away and stopped Howard from attacking in time.

Since Leon knew his name, this was proof that he was indeed the person who worked the Dragon Corps and Fletcher was right.

"Great! Mister Wolf, when did you get to the western region? Why didn't you inform me or come over as guest?" Fletcher asked.

When they fought the Poisonwielder, the Reaper's Breath was too powerful and the Dragon Guards from the western region had all fallen victims of it.

Thankfully, Leon had the antidote and even eliminated the Poisonwielder with his own strength.

Afterward, the Dragon Guards from the western region invited Leon to for a meal to thank him, but Leon was in a hurry to return to the southern region at the time, so he did not take them up on their offer.

Still, Leon made a promise that he would definitely pay the Dragon Corps branch a visit if he ever came to the western region again.

Fletcher had not forgotten about it at all.

The Feaks were relieved to hear this.

At first, they were worried that Howard may side with Leon because Fletcher had a personal connection with Leon.

However, Howard was just and promised to uphold justice on the Feaks' behalf, which reassured them.

Though Leon had once saved his life, it was the Dragon Guards' duty to uphold the good and punish the bad. If Leon had truly committed murder and robbery, he could not possibly protect Leon.

Since Leon was too young, none of them trusted his skills and did not believe he could actually cure Jaxon.

On top of that, they all saw the red palm print on Jaxon's chest earlier and all assumed it was left by Leon when he murdered Jaxon.

Yet, Leon claimed that he cured Jaxon.

This was so unbelievable that they were all shocked.

"Kid, you aren't just running your mouth to evade punishment, are you?"

"If you've cured Jaxon, why is he still unconscious on the ground?"

"Yeah, and what's with the palm print on his chest?"

The Feaks snapped out of it and remained confused as to whether Leon was telling the truth.

The entire event was simply too peculiar and none of them was convinced that an amateur like Leon could revive Jaxon without the help of any medical equipment.

If he truly accomplished such a thing, his skills in medicine would be unrivaled.

'Mister Jaxon was badly injured and it's normal that he doesn't wake up right away. As for the palm print on his chest, it was left there by the actual culprit, not me! If you don't believe what I said, you can go over to check his breath and heartbeat! Then, you will know if I'm telling the truth! Leon scoffed.

"Well… Alright! We are going to check on Jaxon. If it turns out that you are just saying nonsense, we won't spare you!" The Feaks said.

They approached Jaxon with doubts and before they could get any closer, Jaxon suddenly moved.

"Jaxon, are you okay?" The Feaks were all shocked and rubbed their eyes in disbelief.

They all thought that Jaxon was killed by Leon. To their surprise, Leon was telling the truth and he cured Jaxon.

This was a miracle and they would never believe this to be true if they did not see it themselves.

"This is great!" Overjoyed, the Feaks gathered around Jaxon and carefully helped him up from the ground.

"Grandpa, Dad, why are you here? Where am I? How did I get here?" Jaxon asked weakly as he took in his surroundings.

After getting attacked by the Southern Boss, he passed out immediately and did not know what happened afterward.

He woke up to his family surrounding him on top of a mountain, so he was confused.

"Well," Roman and the others were rendered speechless.

They now knew that Leon took Jaxon to the mountain to cure Jaxon, which meant that Leon could not be the culprit.

They all wrongfully accused Leon. Feeling embarrassed, neither of them could come up with the words to answer Jaxon's question, nor could they face Leon.

"Jaxon, it's complicated. We thought that Mister Wolf killed you and attacked him. He probably took you here for treatment and to avoid us," Roman said.

All four of them blushed in shame for wronging and attacking Leon.

"What? Grandpa, you got it all wrong. How can Mister Wolf do this?" Jaxon was shocked when he realized that Leon came close to being the scapegoat for someone else's crime.

He knew that Roman was right and he was mostly responsible for how the situation escalated.

It was Romeo who snapped and lost his mind over the death of his son. This led him to attack Leon and the situation escalated from that point onward, almost getting Leon and Jaxon killed in the process.

He could not deny his part in the outcome.

Though Leon did not exactly say those words, it was clear that he did not intend to press further, which meant he forgave them.

Relieved, they all stood.

"I knew that this was a misunderstanding. I was right after all!" Fletcher laughed.

He did not believe that Leon would commit such terrible crimes, and was relieved that the misunderstanding was cleared.

"Damn it!" Contrary to Fletcher's reaction, Howard's expression darkened.

"Elder Feaks, what's wrong with you all? How can you seek help from us before confirming the truth and accusing an innocent person? This is way out of line. If Fletcher didn't stopped me in time, I would have taken an innocent life!" he snarled.

Due to what the Feaks said, Howard mistook Leon for a criminal and tried to eliminate Leon twice.

Upon learning that Leon was not the culprit, he felt misled and shot the Feaks a dark look.

Since Leon was not responsible, someone else must be. Not only did the culprit commit robbery, but they also took a few innocent lives and this crossed the line for the Dragon Corps.

When the Feaks sought help from the Dragon Corps, the captain entrusted the mission to Howard. If possible, he would like to find the true culprit and bring them to justice.
