The members of the Plenilune sect were sad and petrified. Since Alex was trapped in the tower, they figured that he probably died in flames. They were worried about how the Sun Shrine would deal with them next.
At the time, Alex was still murmuring to himself. “I wonder if I could take this… Erm… Tower of God or something?”

The tower was quite small, hence the space within the Chaos Bell was even smaller.
Alex was currently carrying Mica in his arms, hiding in this cramped space.
It was quite hard to even turn around in here. However, it wasn’t that much of a problem for now. Besides, they were being protected by the bell, so the fire was being blocked out effectively. They didn’t have to worry much about being burnt alive yet.
“Hey, move a little,” Alex said.
“What did you say?” Mica was in a rather bad mood. She had just watched Donovan kill her father, and to make matters worse, discovered that Donovan,
who she had loved deeply for many years, was her biological brother.
Having experienced both of these incidents, she was mentally unstable, as if she were a volcano ready to explode.
Alex’s words were like throwing a lit match into a bucket of gasoline.
“You jerk! You bastard! How could you say that? You assaulted me, yet now, you want me to move? I outright refuse!” “Uhm…” Alex froze, realizing she had misunderstood. “I didn’t mean it like that.” “Then what do you mean? Think I don’t know how dirty your mind is? You’re but a hideous jerk that takes advantage of people! Do you think I’d oblige and let you do whatever you want to me? Dream on! I’m already in such a bad state. I’d rather die! You can beat me to death if you can, but I won’t move even if you do so!” Alex fell speechless, he just wanted to move away from her.
“If you won’t, then I will, okay?” Upon hearing this, Mica instantly started shivering from fear, her bossy attitude faded away. She had heard of such incidents before, that women would feel extreme pain in these moments. If the man wasn’t being gentle, the woman would feel as if a layer of her skin was cut off. She couldn’t help but feel terrified when knowing that pain of such magnitude awaited her.
Despite thinking this, Alex didn’t do anything of the sort to her. He merely pushed her off, and the two changed their positions. He then tried to communicate with the Chaos Tree.

Donovan looked furious, he felt quite uneasy standing outside of the tower.
Gabriel’s last words still managed to affect his mood greatly, but he was a stonehearted person. He actually believed what Gabriel said, and believed that Mica was his actual sister.
Despite this, he still decided not to let Mica go.
‘I already killed my own father, so who cares if I kill my sister too?’ ‘Besides, Mica keeps bugging me like a mosquito, it’s painfully annoying!’ ‘But I can’t let word of this incident spread to the public, lest it might cause serious consequences… If anyone found out about this, I wouldn’t be able to show my face.’ His eyes then fell on the members of the Plenilune sect, filled with coldness and murderous intent. When their eyes met, Serene knew that the situation was looking bad for them. She then immediately gave out an order. “Everyone, be careful! All disciples of the Plenilune sect, assemble! Form the blockade formation!” She could tell that Donovan was about to murder again. All the members rushed forward and got into position.
Donovan was not fazed at all. “You bunch of scoundrels, do you really think you could change your fate? I will crush your sect today. You will all be history!” “Attack!!!” The battle began within the howling of the crowd.
Since Donovan had just suffered a great deal because of Alex, he was dying to release all that pent-up anger within him. He figured that these weaklings would make a nice stress relief.
Just then, Donovan looked as if he turned into a demonic god, slaughtering countless people.
Thud!
He crushed the ribs of a female disciple in one stomp, to the point her entire chest deflated and flattened to the ground. He then punched a hole into another disciple’s stomach with his fist… Blood splattered everywhere. Painful screams filled the skies.
“Help us, ancestor!” “Why aren’t you attacking, ancestor? Our sect is getting wiped out!” As despair filled their hearts, all the members of the Plenilune sect began wailing.

They couldn’t understand why Serene wouldn’t attack, knowing she was a compelling martial artist.
‘Is she using some higher hand to crush the entire sect?’ Serene was extremely heartbroken. Her eyes widened with anger. Bloody tears poured down her old eyes, but she was helpless.
As the slaughter continued, it looked as if it would require a miracle even to escape. Death and destruction seemed to be the only thing that awaited them.
Just then, a bright, silver light shot to the sky from the back of the sanctuary. It was where Frostine was receiving the legacy. The ray was so bright that anyone could still see it clearly during the day.
“What is that?” Donovan turned to look at it amid his killing spree.
The silver light was as thick as a bucket, followed by a melody so pleasant it was as if an ancient god was singing. Its listener would feel relaxed, their bodies lightened.
“What kind of secret treasure is being birthed in there?” Donovan asked Serene.
Throughout his life, his luck and skills combined allowed him to witness quite a few miracles. He had seen such situations as well, whenever there was a birth of a unique treasure, or when a powerful medicine had been formed.
Even the people controlling the Fire Tower of the Universe looked over as well, all filled with greed.
“No treasure is in there,” Serene replied.
However, no one believed her. Donovan immediately ditched the members of the Plenilune sect and rushed to the back of the sanctuary.
“Stop himl” Serene yelled.
“Hmph, as expected. Something is in there.” Donovan smiled coldly, using a long black sword to murder three disciples simultaneously, continuing his way to the back.
At that very moment, a figure flashed towards Donovan. It was Hermione.
“You’d have to get through me first.” Donovan’s eyes turned cold. “I recognize you, that Rockefeller guy was messing around with you in the hotel, with Ynes Larkin too. You shameless b*tch, if you want to die, then so be it.” Hermione took a bottle of medicine out of her pocket. It looked like blood. She then drank it in one gulp.
This was the fate-changing method that Xienna left for her.
Boom!
Hermione’s strength instantly increased threefold.
“Attack!” Clang! Clang! Clang!
Hermione’s aura was intense, at par with Donovan’s. Donovan was shocked. He had never viewed her as an equal, thinking that he could kill her in one shot. He didn’t expect her to be this fierce after taking some medicine.
Even Serene and the members of the Plenilune sect were so shocked their jaws dropped to the ground.
The battle seemed to be at a stalemate.
Donovan yelled. “Lord Rowan, help me out” The Peak Lord named Rowan answered him lightly, about to give Donovan a hand. Since Alex had been in the tower for quite a while, he thought that Alex was dead at this point.
The true fire of Samadhi was burning from within, after all, and any person at the Immortalization stage would’ve been burnt to ashes now.
Just then, the tower started moving on its own as crackling noises filled the air. A cold gust of air somehow came from the tower, which was insanely hot a while ago.
“What’s happening?” “What’s going on with the tower?” Suddenly, an even weirder phenomenon happened-a layer of blue crystals formed on the tower’s surface, becoming thicker and thicker with time.
This was… Ice!
Ice was actually forming on the Fire Tower of God, a phenomenon simply way too surreal.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Following that were loud banging noises. Someone seemed to be punching harshly from within the tower.
Crack!
After a salvo of punches, a hole had been punched into the Fire Tower of God.

“Ah!!!” “The Tower of the Sun God is broken!” The Peak Lords of the Sun Shrine started screaming. They couldn’t believe their eyes.
This was a very powerful treasure, indeed, filled with pure fairy energy. Not only was it filled with the true fire of the Sun, but quite a few powerful flame types were also included as well. For example, the true fire of Samadhi, the Six Divine Fires, and Core Lava.
Quite a few monsters had died under this tower, yet a human managed to break it with his punches.
After that, a bald guy crawled out of the hole. It was obviously Alex.
However, he looked like a mess. His hair and eyebrows had been burnt off to the point his entire head was bald. Dust was all over his face, and a hoop of dragon scales stuck by his waist.
Those were Neela’s scales.
He didn’t have a choice. He couldn’t present himself looking like a caveman.
“Ah? Pfft!” Alex spat out after coming out, its contents looking black and muddy.
It was aimed towards one of the Peak Lords, traveling at an unbelievably great speed. It was two times quicker than sound, landing on the Peak Lord’s body with a loud whoosh.
As the phlegm landed on the person, his entire body caught on flames. The flames were so powerful that the fire couldn’t be put out, causing the man to drop to the ground as he yelled in sheer pain.
After struggling for some time, he managed to take off his clothes and extinguish the fire. Despite this, half of his body still suffered third-degree burns.
He crawled back up to his feet, clearly in pain, his eyes filled with resentment.
Alex exhaled a ball of thick smog and exclaimed, “You guys control this stupid tower, yet you’re scared of fire?” Just a while ago, he really did intend on taking this Fire Tower of God using the Chaos Tree. However, it wasn’t interested in the tower at all, refusing to absorb it. So Alex just assumed that the tree was naturally afraid of fires.
Instead, the Mystic Maiden informed him about something. The flames in the tower were of good quality, so they could be used to burn one’s organs.
At the time, Alex was quite shocked.
‘Burn organs? What the heck is that? As if you can just burn your organs away.
Wouldn’t you die from that?’ Unexpectedly, the Mystic Maiden told him that his flesh and bones were just tough, and they merely looked strong. In reality, his body wasn’t all that powerful. It had lots of flaws, and he had never undergone any special training in the past. It would be like a piece of cake if a truly powerful opponent wanted to defeat him.
After that, she just simply gave him a sutra to practice on. It was a breathing method that could strengthen his organs, so he could swallow fire.
Since the Mystic Maiden was Alex’s contractor, and so he had to do what she said. No matter how much he refused to practice, he still had to, which was why he managed to turn out like this.
It was fortunate that the maiden didn’t mess with him. Alex was able to quickly prove that the breathing method and sutra were indeed effective. Using her method, he was able to decrease his organ damage to a minimum.
Serene widened her eyes, looking at Alex as if he were a ghost.
She had had a taste of the power of the tower, after all. Hence, she knew just how strong the fire was. At the time, she managed to use a special treasure to protect herself from the fire. Yet Alex looked burnt to a crisp. His hair was all gone, but his body was completely fine.
‘How did he do that?’ Moreover, it was absolutely ridiculous that he spat out blazing phlegm.
‘The fire reached his organs, so how is it possible that he’s still alive?’ ‘This guy must have some great secret on him.’ ‘Looks like I underestimated him!’ Serene thought.
The half-burnt Peak Lord was infuriated. “How dare you break our Sun Shine’s Tower of God? You definitely have a death wish. I will make you… Ah!” Mid-sentence, Alex blew a strong gust of air towards him.
