At first, Alex could feel his eyes growing tired, but he realized that the sword heart within him was reacting to something.
His eyes flashed with silver light, releasing the soreness in an instant. He continued to look over the dragon image bit by bit, scanning every single detail as though worried he might miss something.
Seeing that he had been using his internal vision for quite some time, Mystic Maiden reminded him not to push himself too hard. She even mentioned that one would need at least two years to see the image clearly. However, she was extremely surprised when Alex started training in the Dragon-Tusk Punch, all while looking at the dragon imagery.
A real dragon-shaped phantom appeared behind him. Surreal, it was the exact same dragon in the imagery.
“You’re done?”
“Hah. This little minion has pretty good potential!”
Alex himself sensed it as well. His current Dragon-Tusk Punch, especially the dragon part, had greatly improved. His existing punches actually made him feel like he was an actual battle dragon, his strength having even increased eightfold.
After that, he started looking into the elephant image. The elephant was utterly different from what people typically saw in zoos. This was an ancient battle elephant from prehistoric times. Not only was Pigsy shocked to see this, but Mystic Maiden froze up as well.
‘Wouldn’t one explode from eating this much?’
In reality, he wouldn’t. That was because all the golden cores in Alex’s body were invigorating, forming a furnace of forbidden spells as a base for him. Hence, he wasn’t scared of exploding at all.

He then heard someone’s voice.
“Help me!”
‘What?’ Alex froze. ‘Ynes is asking me for help. Is she being hunted down?’
More importantly, the existence of that marking was an actual way of communication, as if it was able to form a bridge between the two. He attached his divine consciousness to the marking to try and communicate with her. “Ynes?”
Ynes replied. “It’s me, Rockefeller. You dang jerk! Someone’s trying to kill me now! Where are you? Come save me!”
Alex was speechless. “Hey missy, you’re asking me to save you with that attitude? Why would I even want to save you?”
Being chased at this very moment, Ynes was in a panic.
“You’re the one who made me like this, so you have to take responsibility! Not only am I being hunted down by the Yorkshire Palace and the Sun Shrine. Now the peacock tribe is trying to kill me too!”
“You bastard, how could you kill and eat their clansmen? Why do I have to suffer the consequences you made? If I die, I’ll haunt you for life so you’ll live the rest of your life with guilt!”
Alex felt creeped out. ‘The Peacock tribe is hunting down Ynes and they know I’ve eaten peacock meat. But how on earth did they do that?’
“Where are you?”
“I’m going in your direction! Where are you even at? I can sense that you’re somewhere around the Endless Sea. Please don’t tell me you’re there right now.”
“Yeah, I am.”
“…Ahhhh, I’m done for, I’m so dead! No one ever survives the Endless Sea! What do I do now? I’m going to die! Ugh, Rockefeller, you horny bastard! I will haunt you in your dreams!”
Alex sighed, knowing that this relationship would bring him even more trouble in the future. However, he couldn’t bear to just sit back and watch when Ynes was just an unlucky victim in all this.
“Come toward me. I’ll meet up with you soon. Don’t worry, as long as you run fast enough, you won’t die.”
Alex called an Undead beast over, it was obviously possessed by an Einherjar.
The beast looked similar to a shark, but it was quite malnourished, and its body looked worn out, as if it was just skin and bones. This was the epitome of a ghost shark, but they possessed great speed.
Since Alex had a sword heart, these fake Undead beasts recognized his strength and thought he was someone close to the woman in a red dress. Hence, they decided that it was safe to trust him completely.

Alex informed Mystic Maiden and Pigsy about the issue and rushed toward the ghost shark’s back. He also stayed in contact with Ynes the whole way over in order to get a grasp on her situation. The two who were currently chasing after her right now were from the Peacock tribe.
They weren’t all that powerful, and they had quite a large difference compared to a great Golden Immortal demon. The two were most likely slightly more powerful than ninth realm to Imminent Immortal, closing into Immortalization.
‘Two Immortals… Would I be able to kill them off with my current powers?’

“Why don’t you just come with us and we’ll grant you a swift death. We’ll even pick a nice burial site for you, or we could just destroy your entire clan.”
Ynes had been wanted by the Yorkshire Palace this whole time, and even her master Breena. For some reason, Breena found out that she was learning the forgotten martial arts of their clan, which was why she had to hunt her down, even if she had to travel to the edges of the world to take it from her.
This made Ynes extremely sad. The fact that she had to escape death repeatedly changed her attitude towards her clan drastically.
She didn’t even look back as she yelled. “Alright then! Go destroy it however you please! And thank you for that. They’re not far behind us!”
At the time, the members of Yorkshire Palace were chasing after her too. The peacocks just came along midway through this chase and were way faster than them.
It was fortunate that she learned the forgotten secret spells, along with everything else she was trained in. With this, Ynes was able to improve her skills and power; thus, her speed was ten times faster than before. She would’ve been captured long ago otherwise. However, she couldn’t help but panic because the peacocks were much faster than her.
“Ugh, it’s your fault for not listening, you disgusting wh*re! When we get our hands on you, I swear I’d crack your skull open and pour hot boiling oil into you to eat your brain!” one of the peacocks yelled out angrily.
Ynes shuddered upon hearing that. Realizing that they were getting nearer, she threw two pieces of lightning crystals.
It released a massive explosion as loud as thunder, blocking their path.
After that, she screamed, “You peacocks only target the weak! You’re all just pitiful losers! I was kidnapped by Rockefeller, and none of you were able to protect the fiance of your people! Not only are you refusing to hunt down the strong enemy, but you’re trying to kill me!”
“You peacocks could never become an ancient divine tribe because you’re all cowards! You’re all insolent idiots!”
“Damn you!” the peacocks yelled in unison.
Just then, a hundred meter long Ghost Shark leaped out from the deep sea at great speed. The three were absolutely shocked.
“An Undead beast?!”
Ynes could feel her heart jumping out of her throat. She was the nearest to the ghost shark, after all. She could even see its bones that were exposed in the air.
In just a few seconds, she noticed Alex was standing on its back.
“Save me, darling! They want to kill me!” she yelled out to him.

Alex stood still on the ghost shark, taken aback by her words.
‘She’s calling me her darling now.’
‘Is this Holy Maiden still sane? Did she bump her head or something?’
‘That’s not her style, though?!’
Seeing the two peacocks closing up on Ynes, he took a leap and dropped right in front of her. Standing on the ocean water, he pointed the Golden Spear at the peacocks and turned to Ynes. “Get on the shark first.”
Ynes didn’t dare to get up since it was indeed an Undead beast. Its appearance was just way too ugly.
The two peacocks turned pale once again.
“Wow. Real great! As a human, you’re hanging out with those Undead beasts. You prick! You’re a one in a million traitor! A parasite!” a peacock shouted.
“I’m not in the mood to debate with you. I’d just like to use your bodies to sharpen my tool.” Alex said, then ordered the shark, “Sharkie, protect this shameless brat! And help me out if I can’t defeat them.”
Ynes was extremely annoyed, never expecting Alex to call her a shameless brat. ‘What a jerk! I only ended like this because of you…’
She had been experiencing the worst treatment in Western Ridge for the past few days. She had to suffer things she never had to before. She just couldn’t accept the fact that she was insulted out of the blue.
Everyone else was calling her an unloyal wh*re who cheated on her own fiancé.
She had tried explaining with all her might, but no one wanted to listen. In the end, she decided to just go with it, telling everyone that Alex was her childhood friend. She also said that they had decided to marry each other long before Donovan proposed to her. In the end, Donovan had to force the Yorkshire Palace into complying. Hence, her clan chickened out, arranging her marriage with the Sun Shrine and sacrificing her love life.
However, wanting to fight for her love, she was unwilling to obey her clan. She wouldn’t marry anyone else but Alex. She didn’t care if she died from this. It didn’t matter as long as she could be with Alex in the afterlife.

Alex felt a strong force coming from it. It almost sent his spear flying out of his hands as well. His body had to endure a harsh impact, causing him to nearly vomit blood.

The peacocks laughed. “You dare to fight me with that puny power of yours? I really wonder how on earth you killed the sacred nun. She’s such a powerful being! So what did you do to her?”

“Die!” the other peacock yelled as it released a blue ray of light out of its mouth. It was a flying sword, aiming to behead Alex.
Alex spun the spear around as his eyes glowed silver. Able to easily recognize the tracks of the flying sword, he struck it harshly. At lhe same time, he punched the other peacock. He was taking two Immortals at the same time, despite his lower rank in powers.
“You’re nothing compared to us Immortals!”
The peacock who released the flying sword was smiling coldly, eyes filled with disdain. He thought that Alex’s spear couldn’t possibly catch up with his sword. He figured that the sacred nuns died from other causes. That was because they had witnessed the sacred nun being struck by the divine lightning of Kalpa.
Clank!
In reality, Alex’s golden spear struck the flying sword without fail. The blue flying sword was struck down instantly, falling to the ground as it bounced like a ball, letting out a painful cry.
On the other hand, Alex’s Dragon-Tusk Punch landed on the long sword of the other peacock. As both the dragon and elephant roared, his fist struck the blade, letting out a loud noise.

The sword made out of feathers was smashed into pieces, the peacocks were heartbroken. But, more importantly, they were starting to feel fear.
Alex’s power was a little too strong than they had expected. Although he hadn’t seemed to achieve Immortalization, he still managed to block their attacks and fight back, gaining the upper hand as well.
Upon fighting back, Alex knew where the baseline was now. His confidence was instantly boosted. “Hmph, Immortals are not all that, huh? Come at me again!”
This time, he kept his spear away, solely using the Dragon-Tusk Punch instead, using the two to train his punches.
Ynes, who was standing at the side, was so shocked that it left her mouth agape. She had overestimated Alex by quite a bit, but his current actions broke that limit even further. He was fighting two Immortalized peacocks with such ease.
Suddenly, the peacock took out a bright golden rope, binding Alex by his waist. After that, it surrounded itself around his body, wrapping him up as if he were a gift box.

Alex didn’t seem to care. “Divine Binding Rope? It’s just an embarrassing faux.”

The two peacocks were shocked. This was just too odd. ‘Even if it is fake, it shouldn’t be this easily broken, right?’

“And this is pretty good timing. I’m still pretty hungry since I didn’t get to eat that old hen!”
