“Hey, Wilbert. You can handle these two ghost crabs. Please don’t be like my little girl and not train yourself.”
Alex placed his conscience into his mind palace and spoke to the tool spirit.
“Don’t worry, as long as there’s enough divine power, there won’t be any problems. Besides, it’s just two little crabs. I’ll get you some crab roe later.”
Shelly was confident, so Alex felt relieved. He had to remember their current position. He knew that it would be helpful to memorize where the exit of this space hallway was.
“An astrology mark!” He exclaimed. This was something new that he found from the sword heart that the woman in red gave him.
It was a marking that could be generally used in any space… Something like a destination pointer on a GPS, but it was connected to his consciousness instead. Thus, after placing a mark, he would quickly find this place as long as his memory wasn’t wiped.
“Die!” Alex yelled and rushed toward the group of Undead.
The two giant crabs were the first to attack.
“Shelly!”
“With water flowing under the bridge, Persephone stands above!”
This time, the tool spirit was quite cooperative. She was murmuring an elegant ancient poem, but in reality, it was a very cruel spell. A bloody ancient bridge appeared out of nowhere, forming under the two crabs.
Ring…
The two crabs exploded within a second. The ancient bridge was cruel, filled with irregular forces relating to life and death. It was as if there was strong energy dragging them along with the other Undead beasts.
“Arghhhh!”
They all roared fiercely as they backed away immediately. All they saw was several beasts being dragged onto Persephone’s Folly Bridge, becoming significantly younger and smaller with each second…
This situation was just too weird. It seemed like they were able to return to their youths. This was initially a good thing, but the only problem was that the forces of fate were taking away the soul of the Undead beasts apart from making its body younger. Those affected beasts turned into infants. Some even looked like fetuses, vanishing, and turning into a dark and empty ball of energy, only to be absorbed by the bridge.
The entire process looked as if someone was turning back time, and they were watching life being returned to its original state again.
Alex was shocked to witness this as well, not just the two crabs, despite being already busy slaughtering the Undead army. He couldn’t bring himself to utter a single word as he held onto the Requiem Clock
A while later, he asked Clinton, “Hey, Shelly can control time? Say, can you ask her to make me look a few years younger?”
The Requiem Clock was speechless. “Do you think you’re not young enough? If you get any younger, you’d have to wear baby onesies.”
‘Uhm…’
Alex then remembered that he looked like a fourteen year old child ever since he had merged with Ymir’s Divine Bone.
After that, Clinton continued. “Even if the forces of fate could make you younger, you wouldn’t like it either. That’s because Persephone’s Folly Bridge doesn’t just take away age, it takes away memories, soul, core, and some mysterious elements within a being as well.”
Upon hearing this, Alex shook that thought out of his head. He then swam off with the clock still in hand, letting the chimes vibrate through the sea, causing the soul fires within the Undead to shake vigorously.
He just needed to use Bodhi’s Dragon-Tusk punches to demolish the soul fires successfully in such circumstances. With this, he would get the chance to harvest their lives.
Whoosh!
Alex then took notice that the bridge didn’t drag the two crabs onto it. Instead, it used immortal chains to restrict them. It would seem to be using this method to absorb the crabs’ life force and energy directly.
“Hey Clinton, it looks like Shelly is stronger than you!” Alex said.
“Ah, I’m getting old. I can’t compare to these youngsters.”
“But you’re still pretty strong, though.”

With the two crabs out of the way, the rest were nothing to be afraid of.
In just thirty minutes, all the Undead beasts were demolished.
The bridge, however, didn‘t disappear after the job was done. Instead, Shelly, wearing a traditional red dress, stood elegantly on top of the bridge as she waved to Alex.
Alex furrowed his brows as he approached the bridge but did not dare to walk any further.
“Come up here!”
“I won’t become younger, right?”
“You wish! What are you even scared of? You’re the owner of this spiritual tool! Do you think it’d absorb you entirely?”
Alex figured that she was right. He shouldn’t be prohibited from touching his weapon after all.
As expected, he wasn’t hurt in the slightest after getting on. However, he felt something within his heart. Since this was a bridge that only the dead had ever crossed, standing on top of it made him feel weird. The ancient and vast feeling of space, along with the weight of life and death, was a little too overwhelming.
On the other hand, the bloody stains on the bridge were enough to make his heart skip with fear. He could sense that it was not just ordinary blood. Neither the blood of the Undead beasts nor the crabs were left on this bridge. So that meant that such blood stains were not left by just any entity.
As if she could read Alex’s mind, Shelly said, “You’re looking at the blood of a demonic god in the past. That bastard was very sinful. He had destroyed ten or so saintly grounds with his powers alone. He was able to kill high priests, beheading them in the blink of an eye. Not even the lightning tribulation could take him down, but he still ended up dying at Persephone’s Folly Bridge.”
Alex’s eyes widened. It felt like he was listening to a myth. However, he knew that she was telling the truth, but it was odd to listen to such atrocities like some kind of normal past event
He looked at Shelly. She looked like a little girl, her height was around 4.5 feets, but she sounded like an old lady.
“Here you go!” Shelly threw something at Alex. “I told you I’d treat you to some crab roe. It’s the most valuable thing on those two crabs. So it would probably be beneficial if you ate that. And by the way, I’ll be taking the divine power now. It’d be a waste if you kept it anyway. You don’t even know how to transform yet.”

When Alex found the location of the Mystic Maiden and the others, all of them were starting to get worried. That was because the Mystic Maiden could sense Alex disappearing for a while. It was a very unnatural occurrence since this shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
After that, Alex told them about the space hallway.
“It leads straight to the Wasteland?”
“This is great! We’ve been stuck in the Endless Sea for nearly half a month! I felt like Iwas going crazy!”
Ynes and Pigsy were overjoyed. Although Alex was doing most of the work in their battles, they were still happy that they got to leave this horrid place soon.
The Mystic Maiden said, “It looks like your luck is pretty good. Space hallways are also known as wormholes. There are lots of them within the universe. Some organizations with such expertise would even take the time and effort to craft wormholes as a business! I wonder if the wormhole you found is natural or artificial?”
No matter what it was, Alex just wanted to head home right now. His father’s condition was worsening after all.
“Come on, let’s go home first!”
The group just walked through the wormhole after Alex said that However, the shark didn’t dare to get any closer, so they let it go instead.
After reaching the Pixies’ land, Alex jumped onto Pigsy’s back and grabbed Ynes with him as well. They then rushed off at ten times the speed of sound.
Right then, an unexpected guest arrived at the doorstep of Rockefeller Manor.
Clay had brought some men with him, barging into the manor as he yelled, “All Rockefellers, get your a*ses out here and knee! before us!”

Still sitting in the courtyard, the fairies were enraged. They felt as if their lungs were going to explode with rage.
Brittany, Maya, Waltz, Beatrice, Cheryl, and Dawn were all here. The Rockefeller family seemed to be overpowered with feminine energy… Apart from the sick William and Dorothy’s two sons, the rest were all beautiful women. Moreover, this was considered a smaller group. Michelle, Daya, Luna, Freya, and other related women would sometimes come by as well.
All of them could easily be considered fairies because of their ethereal looks. Yet now, all these fairies were infuriated by Clay’s actions.
“Clay, you bastard! I didn’t think you’d come!” Waltz was quite upset about this.
She thought Clay would realize the Rockefeller family’s powers after leaving that day, then change his mind and admit his defeat. However, he still came over regardless.
“Besides, I’m part of the Rockefeller family, and I’m Alex’s wife. Although Clay used to be my sworn brother, he started walking a path of sin, simply treacherous! I will kill him if I have to, and I won’t hesitate in the slightest. You guys don’t have to forgive him for my sake either.”
Brittany, on the other hand, seemed to be relatively calm.
After the initial rage, she acted as if Clay was just a mad dog. “You don’t have to kill him, but we, the Rockefellers, are no weaklings either. Since they came here to try and threaten us with their powers, let’s just destroy their sorry little cores as a warning.”

Waltz knew well that Brittany was considerate of her feelings. Brittany might be able to hold in her anger toward Clay, but the others might not They would’ve definitely killed them off the moment these ‘guests’ barged in.
Brittany caressed Waltz’s face and sighed. “It’s too bad that Alex couldn’t come back in the end. I know you all are upset. The Rockefeller family surely has failed you all. But come on, let’s go check out the situation first.”
The women army rushed out, causing the uninvited guests to gasp in delight.
“Holy sh*t, what is this? Did we barge into a beauty’s nest? Why are all of them so beautiful?”
“Beauty’s nest? I’d say this is a whole brothel.”
“I’m loving this view, Boss. I have to bring one home with me. I’d like the one in the white dress. You won’t oppose that, right?”
Clay brought a few more people than before, a total of seventeen men. Each and everyone looked different, dressed in many unique styles as well. Despite this, seeing all these ‘fairies’ made them equally as excited.
Clay didn’t expect this at all, but he was satisfied with it nonetheless. He smiled and said, “Woah, we’re getting a bonus today, boys! I was thinking about all your marriage anyway. It looks like we’d be able to solve a few today. But one of these beauties is off limits, alright?”
One laughed. “I know, I know, Sister Waltz, right? That’s our sister-in-law, so of course, no one would dare to lay a finger on her. I would be the first to fight anyone who dares to too!”
Another said, “Boss, your current status should grant you more than just Sister Waltz. Why don’t you pick one from these beauties today? I think the middle one is the best. She looks as elegant as a queen. Just imagine having such beauties in each arm! That’s the epitome of heaven!”
Clay laughed out loud. “That’s great. I intend to do that too!”
However, the person in the middle that they were talking about was Alex’s mother, Brittany.
These people were all absolutely unscrupulous. They spoke loudly as well. The deaf and hard of hearing would be able to hear their words loud and clear, let alone Brittany and the others, who were quite powerful.
Waltz was furious, glaring at Clay angrily. “Why have you turned out this way? Are you even the Clay I knew back then? I am so disgusted by your current self.”
Clay was still quite obsessed with Waltz. Hence, he was upset to hear Waltz say that. He felt as if his heart was being twisted.
His subordinate said, “Boss, Sister Waltz must have been tricked. That’s why she has said such harsh words. After we capture her, she’ll understand you sooner or later! If you can’t bring yourself to capture her, I can be of assistance. We can teach her a lesson or two when we get back.”
