Pigsy spoke up. “Has it really lost its effect? Hey Rockefeller, doesn’t that mean mine’s lost its effect too? Do I not need to slog for this old geezer anymore?”
Mystic Maiden was furious. “Who are you calling old geezer, Pigsy?”
She then activated the restriction spell on Pigsy. Pigsy suddenly felt as if its soul no longer belonged to its body, as if it were being choked by a large hand. His soul was being suffocated, while his body felt like it was going to catch on flames, it was simply a hellish sensation.
It fell to its knees, begging for mercy repeatedly. Only then did Mystic Maiden calm down.
“What about the Dairaionji Temple? Did you manage to get in? Have you done what you needed to?” Daya asked. Although concerned about her father-in-Iaw, she didn’t forget about the main purpose of this trip.
“Yeah, you said you were going to find the Ancestral Bodhi Tree in the temple. So did you?” Shirley asked as well.

Alex then briefly explained what happened within the temple to the group, and they all froze in shock.
“The temple was actually conquered by a demon?”
However, Alex didn’t tell them about the tree going into his mind palace out of nowhere and unwilling to leave. Not only was it unbelievable, but he also wanted to keep this secret to himself.

The beautiful moonlight shone down, while nightingales roamed the forest, chirping momentarily.
As night fell, Alex and the others decided to camp out in this ancient forest for the time being. He had just come back to the group after all, and since it was getting dark, they decided it best to travel home the next day. The group gathered around a campfire, eating spiritual beast meat and drinking soup made of spiritual herbs.
Tears trickled down Pigsy’s cheeks. “Finally, I can eat something good! I might’ve starved to death if I kept hanging out with these women!”
Alex was surprised. “Why would you starve to death?”
Daya replied that she was on a diet, so she hadn’t eaten much usual human food.
Fasting was considered a type of training after all. Mystic Maiden took even more extreme measures. Since she wasn’t a mortal, she didn’t have to eat.
Meanwhile, Shirley and Ynes followed in Daya’s footsteps. Despite having shapely figures, they wanted to go on a diet regardless. Alex didn’t understand how much skinnier they wanted to be.
“You guys have to be careful, though!”
“Dieting is tactful work. So don’t diet so much to the point your body ends up unevenly proportioned!”

When he was still in the Underworld, he and Dorothy had a long talk about how to fight Xienna when she got back. She wanted to at least regain control over her own body. She mentioned that she had a plan and would find a way to get herself home…
Despite this, Alex knew that Xienna had most likely sensed that her divided soul had died. Thus, she would‘ve definitely made some preparations.

Suddenly, Alex noticed two people missing from their group.
‘Where are Neela and Anna?’
Before entering the temple, he told Neela to bring Anna along. If things went according to plan, they should be here right now. Upon questioning the others, it would seem that no one saw them.
“Oh f*ck, no way?”
“Could something have gone wrong with the Pool of Afterlife? Are they trapped?”
Beginning to panic, Alex stood up abruptly. “Go back to California first. I need to go back and look for them.”
Shirley grabbed him by the arm. “Are you mad? The Underworld is collapsing! If you go in there again, you won’t get out. Besides, the relics need time to recover. You just got out, so you’re not about to go back in.”
Alex replied, “Don’t worry, I have a plan.”
Since he had the Ancestral Bodhi tree, along with the emperor of the Underworld’s last mental mark, he didn‘t need Buddhist relics to enter the Underworld. However, it had been quite some time since he first left.
He wasted a month on the ancient Buddhist battlefield, and there were too many variables within the Pool of Afterlife at this point.
‘I hope they’re okay.’
“If you’re going, then we’re all going with you,” Daya said. “It’s best to travel together, you know? We’ve been waiting for you for a whole month! You’re going to make us worry all over again!”
Pigsy nodded. “That’s right. It’s just too boring.”
‘I could just ignore the pig, but the girls don’t want to keep waiting.’
“Okay, then let me see if we can enter together!”
Just as Alex was about to contact the tree and enter the Underworld again, a ball of light appeared next to him. It looked like a glowing egg.
“What is this?”
“Something inside… Some kind of being is trying to get out.”

Her green and golden scales were glistening with blood, indicating that she was injured. There was a special area on top of her head, protected by a boundary. There was someone in there… Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be Anna, who had just been revived not long ago.
They were using all their might to dash out of the light.
“Neela! Anna!” Alex yelled towards the light.
As if she could hear him, Anna started waving her arms frantically. In a panic, her eyes started welling up with tears. On the other hand, Neela leaped into the air and flung her tail around, creating a large gust behind her.
‘What do I do?’
They seemed to be separated by some force, unable to get out of the light.
‘Could the entire Underworld be moving?’
‘No, I have to bring them out of there.’
“Ancestral Bodhi Tree!”
“Earth Escape Technique!”
Alex decided not to waste more time and activated his Earth Escape Technique. He would use energy from the Ancestral Bodhi Tree to force his way back into the Underworld.
When the portal opened up, he couldn’t believe his eyes. The entire world was changing. The Underworld would return to Izanami, causing everything in that realm to morph.
The entire world seemed to be tilting downwards. Demonic Chi was diminishing, while spiritual energy no longer existed. Yet elements within Izanami were growing stronger.

It wasn’t easy requesting to meet Alex, not even for the president. However, Alex still couldn’t help but feel surprised to see such celebrities show up at his door all of a sudden.
Since Daya used to be a famous singer, she wasn’t unfamiliar with those two. Yet now, with her memories from her past lives, her life was much more different than what it used to be. She was slightly confused to see Timaeus and Ronaldo here but didn’t think much about it.
Compared to celebrities and footballers, they were indeed the ones standing at the very top.

Suddenly, they were stopped in their tracks by a group of tall, well-built men, all wearing black suits and shades, even though it was very late. One might even misunderstand and think they were blind.
Alex frowned. “What are you doing?”
A man pointed towards the queue. “Line up!”
Alex replied, “This is my house. Why should I line up?”
The man scoffed. “This is your house?! Why don’t you say you’re Alex Rockefeller himself, huh? Run along now, or you won’t be getting your share!”
Slightly upset, Alex rubbed his nose. ‘Is it wrong to want to go home?’
Another woman spoke up, “Some people are just so shameless, their parents must’ve raised them poorly. They lack basic manners and attempt to be the Rockefeller’s.”
“Just look at yourself… Who do you think you are? You don’t even deserve to lick Alex Rockefeller’s shoes!”
Alex was speechless as the ladies started giggling. Daya burst out in laughter as well.
“Whatever. I’m not about to pick a fight with y’all!” Alex rubbed his nose again.
‘Geez. What am I supposed to do here?’
That woman wasn’t done. Likely bored from standing in line, she started murmuring. “You are all really ill mannered for such normal looking people.”
“Everyone here is lining up, so why won’t you? Is it because you guys have horns? Saying you’re not going to pick a fight with us… Do you even have the intelligence to do so?”
“You should get out a little more, learn some stuff, make yourself useful. You should know by now that Mr. Rockefeller could kill you with the flick of a finger.”
“Hah…” Alex huffed.
Just then, the gates to the manor flung open as the Rockefeller’s rushed out.

“No, you didn’t!”
“The Underworld is his territory. It’s only normal for you to be trapped, especially since you haven’t recovered completely. Don’t push yourself too hard.”
Alex comforted the dragon, then used his divine eye to check on her condition as well. She suffered no major injuries, save for fatigue and scratches from fighting the law power cast on her.
Alex then used a healing spell, combining divine power and The Ultimate Book of Medicine. This spell was quite effective, healing all injuries in a split second. Neela even looked energized after that.
“Anna!” Alex turned to the woman.
Anna immediately leaped into his arms, embracing him tightly.
“Master!” Anna cried, agitated. It was as if she were Rapunzel who had found her prince once again.
Alex didn’t have the time to have a proper conversation with her back at the Pool of Afterlife. Now that they were on Earth and were close to home, she naturally felt calmer.
“You must’ve been through a lot. I’ll be bringing you home soon. Your parents will be delighted to see you.”
Alex said with a smile. He would be excited to see their reactions when Anna returned to the Colemans of Michigan.

They weren’t far from Daya and the others.

Alex took a good look at the other person and was surprised as well. “Oh my god. Is that Ronaldo? The famous footballer?”
Back when he was still studying, Alex loved playing football. Ronaldo happened to be his idol at the time too.
The only difference was that Alex was significantly stronger and impactful now.

Alex stood at the center of the plane. It was messy, as if the sky and land had turned into pure chaos, and it was almost impossible to navigate as if they were in quicksand. He called out to Maha since he was the only one who could help at this very moment.

“Huh, I actually wanted to take this dragon as my own since it would be embarrassing if I didn’t have a ride in the nether realm. I didn’t think she’d be your friend.”
Alex was speechless. “So this all happened because you were restricting Neela… Not letting her leave.”
“Ahem, well, it was all just a misunderstanding. Follow me!”
Maha led the way and brought Alex into a portal. In mere seconds, they reached an odd foggy space. Alex was able to hear the dragon’s roar even clearer when he arrived.
Neela was trapped in some sort of law power, still unable to break free.
“Take the law power off of her!” Alex said to Maha.
As the law’s power was taken away, Neela regained her freedom. Neela had long sensed Alex’s aura, so she turned around and landed on the ground…
However, her eyes were filled with anger and malicious intent when she looked at Maha as if she wanted to eat him alive right there and then.
Despite the strong urge, Maha was still the guardian of the Underworld, and with the holy mark, he had also become the ruler of this place. Neela’s attacks were just too weak, and he would be able to block it as long as he wanted to.
“Shush, Neela,” Alex spoke up.
