They were still speaking arrogantly, in a high and mighty manner.
Seeing who had spoken, Pigsy ducked back nervously and turned to Alex. “Boss, this was the guy who tricked us and poisoned the Mystic Maiden. She wouldn’t have been injured by their sh*tty young master, otherwise.”
It paused and whispered secretively, “These guys are pretty good. They’ve learned skills from ancient times. Can you handle them? D*mn it! I don’t know how these sects overcame the laws of the Wastelands. How are they so powerful?”
The one leading Returning Sword Sect had clearly heard Pigsy and Alex’s conversation.
He laughed and said, “Yeah, I poisoned your master. What are you going to do about it? Is she not dead yet, huh?”
The moment he finished, Alex slapped him across the face. It was way too quick. The man hadn’t even understood what had happened.
The man’s body then glowed with an earthen yellow and ocean blue light, two defensive treasures of rather high quality. Besides being shocked, the man was furious.
‘How dare you ambush me under such circumstances? Do you think it would work?’
“I have defensive treasures… I…” he shouted.
Before he could finish, however, he heard aloud bang as the earthen yellow defense treasure exploded. The ocean blue defense shield didn’t fare any better, managing to only hang on for another half-second.
Alex’s palm landed right on the man’s face.
“Hmm?” Alex was unsatisfied. He’d used his full force in that slap, especially since he was furious and wanted to kill the man.
Never did he expect the man to have two high-quality defense treasures that could block out most of the attack. The last part of the slap still landed on the man’s face, but it was only enough to knock out a few teeth. One slap wasn’t enough, so a second one followed.
Just as the man took a breath, Alex’s second slap hit like lightning.
Boom!
A land explosion ensued as the man was destroyed by Alex’s slap. He crumbled into ice and landed on the floor like a mere crystal ornament.
Pigsy gasped and oinked, a chill running up its spine as it witnessed the scene.
The remaining disciples of the sect started panicking.
“He actually… killed Elder Sandoval with two slaps?”
“Quick! Go notify the young master.”
Alex grunted and conjured up a stream of chilling ice and sent it across the bodies of the remaining disciples. Within a second, they all became ice statues. At the same time, the fastest running disciple had successfully sent out an SOS signal.

The signal flew up and burst brightly, dying the skies red with a loud bang. Everyone within ten miles was alerted.
The most unlucky person had to be Nightingale, though. Having been hiding midair, she had recorded the entire incident. Now shot down by the signal, she landed onto the ground, hard, face flat like a toad.

Alex glanced at Nightingale.

“They’re at Mount Dragon-Tiger, with the Flying Eagles.”
Alex nodded. “Lead the way.”
“Sure thing, boss. Who would’ve known you’d become so powerful after being away for six months. Who cares how ancient those six sects are? We’ll attack them one by one and turn their world upside down. Let’s kill every single one of them.”
Pigsy’s words were filled with hatred. This period had been too depressing for him, especially when he had almost died three months ago.
Alex looked at Rockefeller Manor, his eyes glinting.

Pigsy enlarged itself until it was ten meters tall and allowed Alex and Luna to climb onto its back. At that moment, the formation that Alex had set in front of Rockefeller Manor burst with bright light. Someone had triggered the formation and blocked the exits.
Alex’s eyes lit up as the corners of his mouth turned upwards. It was then that a man spoke from inside of the manor.
“You kill members of our sect, yet you plan to just leave like that? Aren’t you underestimating us a little too much?”
“You must really look down on me.”
A man in white floated out from the house. Actually levitating, his legs were completely still as he advanced forward. He had a heavenly aura around him as if he was really an angel from heaven… If he’d appeared in the city, many women would’ve definitely been charmed by him. He was the young master of the Returning Sword Sect, Jaiden Todd.

Alex wasn’t here to listen to this nonsense. Since the young master had appeared, he decided to kill him.
“Die!” Alex moved instantly to the front of Jaiden.
While Jaiden was taken aback and hadn’t understood what was happening, the palm of a hand landed upon his chest.

Alex’s voice boomed. Everyone near Rockefeller Manor could hear him. The people gathered outside the manor heard it especially clearly. They’d heard about the news, mustering up their courage to investigate.
No one thought they’d be the first recipients of such breaking news. Everyone who heard Alex was shocked.
“He wants the elders and leaders of the Returning Sword Sect to beg for forgiveness before the Thousand Miles Conglomerate?”
“Is… Is there something wrong with my ears?”
“Alex… What powers he must have to give him the confidence to say such things?”
Everyone was stunned and horrified as if they’d just witnessed the most unbelievable thing in the world. However, the truth was right in front of their eyes.

All of them returned in tears.
“Master, we can’t get out. We tried the previous ways, but they don’t work anymore.”
Jaiden looked around. “Go try some other place.”

At this point, almost all of them had come out. They instantly noticed something was wrong and immediately dispersed, attempting to leave in different directions.
Nonetheless, they all failed and returned disappointed. They tried every corner, even above and below the ground. The formation blocked the entire place, leaving no way out. The ones who attempted using force triggered the formation, only to realize that it could also kill now.
Some guy didn‘t believe in the formation’s power and tried using force again, after three attempts, he ended up dead.
Everyone was now in a panic.
It had felt good when they took over someone’s home and formation, but now, they had trapped themselves inside. Like a prison of sorts, they couldn’t leave, and it upset them a lot.
Finally, Jaiden’s sight landed on Nightingale.
“You… You said that you’re from SwitchTV? Can you try to contact someone outside?”
Nightingale had never thought she’d be shut in as well. She immediately gave it a try and found she could still make phone calls in this secluded area.
Jaiden nodded. “Great, contact your boss right now. I have a deal for him.”

Alex grabbed Luna and Pigsy and immediately teleported in the direction of Mount Dragon-Tiger.
He’d never been there before, but he knew roughly where it was. Once they got to West California, Pigsy would lead the way.
“Boss, you gave a cool proclamation just now.”
“You just ordered the elders of the Returning Sword Sect, including the sect master, to beg for forgiveness at the Thousand Miles Conglomerate.”

The Supreme Elder, Ash Sandoval, was immediately furious. Elder Sandoval, who died at the Returning Zeal Headquarters, was his son.
