Tears started trickling down her cheeks.
Alex was shocked to find that Maya knew the truth.
“Dad left when I was six. He was sick from missing you, and he drank a lot. Not long after that, he even started coughing blood frequently. He held me when he died, telling me that my mom was called Lenneberg. He told me to remember your name for life…”

Alex asked, “So, you’re Maya’s… Twin sister?”

Lenneberg nodded gently. “Hmph. And you should call me Mom because of your relationship with my daughter.”

The crowd quickly began to retreat.
Alba, on the other hand, had a cold smile on her face and seemed to think they were doing pointless work. “Is it of any use? When I activated the divine dragon explosion, this place was predestined to be razed to the ground!”
The egg exploded, leaving a path of golden light in its wake. That black eggshell cracked.
A terrifying aura spread from within, and everyone affected by the wave began to tremble from the bottom of their hearts. Their hearts and minds were taken away by it, and their souls couldn‘t stop trembling.
“Go to hell!”
