Lorelei scanned over them as she put on a cold, expressionless demeanor. She was even distant towards Alex, her attitude much different from before.

“Let me introduce you to each other. This is my master, Jade Benmore, and this is my father-in-law, Gilbert Henderson. And this is my wife, Maya Howards!”
After that introduction, Lorelei and Nebula froze slightly. ‘They are of rather… High-status. Should we suck up to them too?’

Gilbert asked, “How many steps are there?”
Lorelei replied. “Nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine!”
Everyone fell silent. It was just too horrific.
‘The seed could only ascend thirteen steps, but it has nearly ten thousand. Could anyone from this world actually up that place?’
However, Jade seemed like she wanted to try. Her expressions said it all.
“First, help me set up the formations! Then we can go take a look at those stairs!”

Nebula spoke through telepathy to Lorelei. “Sis, have we accidentally got ourselves a steal? This guy brings along a holy ancient dungeon with him, like it was some random tool. That means there must be entire ancient religious clan supporting him.”
“He must have quite a lot of Chi and spiritual energy on him! This guy you randomly grabbed is becoming more and more mysterious. I’m even getting some kind of rush in my heart, I have the urge to eat him up.”
Lorelei took a glance at her, slightly paranoid as she spoke through telepathy as well. “Don’t do anything rash, Her Highness has her eyes on him.”
Nebula froze. “No way. Could Her Highness want to be with him?”
Lorelei said, “How would I know? Her Highness has always operated in unexpected ways… She had probably planned on something else after making Alex Eustace’s substitute as the seed. If she wants a husband, the seed would probably be the best choice for her, right?”
When she said that, she honestly just didn’t want Nebula and Alex to be overly intimate with each other. She didn’t quite know why she did that. Yet after saying those words, she thought about something. ‘Has… Her Highness really thought of making him hers?’
After that, Alex’s image brought a group of people to set up formations all around the Yukon Sanctuary.

It was mainly due to the size of the sanctuary. Fortunately, Alex had enough flags-tens of thousands, or they might actually run out.
The next day, Alex’s mirror images disappeared in the evening, as if they were snowflakes that met the sun. He was standing on the top of a large mountain, forming seals on both his hands. Using Chi to write Cuneiform in midair, he connected all of the formation flags in the sanctuary.
Suddenly, Nadia came back to Yukon, along with three of her sisters and around ten strong recently-subdued clan members. As expected, the news about the building on the top of Yukon reached the Stoermer Sect.
Eustace was outraged and distraught upon his exile from Yukon, especially since he was the seed. It was a given that he wouldn’t let Alex off this easily, so he had been closely monitoring everything within Yukon. Eustace wanted to return when the building shone, but the goddess had ordered him not to. He didn’t dare to go against her, but he figured that sending others up
wasn’t actually breaking the rules.
“Big Sis! Third Sis!”
Nadia and the others bumped into Lorelei and Nebula at the entrance, so she went up and greeted them. The other three sisters did so as well.
“Nadia, you guys have already left Yukon. Why have you come back?” Lorelai asked.
“Big Sis, are you two really determined to go down this path?” Nadia asked in return.
“I know the young lord was wrong to send you into the pond to look for the pill. He was wrong to have not cared about your safety, but you will lose your life’s purpose once you abandon him and follow some random brat! Due to your work and effort from the past three thousand years, the young lord has decided to let it go once. He is willing to accept you into the sect again! Let’s just go back home, shall we?”
Lorelei couldn’thelp herself and chuckle. “Eustace would never say that. But either way, we will never go back.”
Nebula, too, was astounded. “Second Sis, just look at yourself. You’re not here to convince us to go back, are you?”
Nadia replied, “We’ve heard that the building on top of Mount Yukon started glowing. What’s up with that?”
“Has the building started glowing? I don’t know. I guess you must’ve heard some rumor.”
“We’d like to go up there and take a look”
Lorelei smiled. “No, that would be impossible.”
Nebula was straightforward. “How dare you still come up here after Her Highness had forced you out? Do you think Her Highness was talking nonsense?”
Nadia and the other women froze. “How did you find out about that?”
Nebula grinned coldly. “Her Highness told us, of course. What? Do you really think we’re just a bunch of foolish idiots? Since we used to be sworn sisters, I’d like to give you some good advice, don’t take the wrong side. Her Highness is on ours, you know?”
Lorelei then told them to leave, but they refused. Just then, odd light beams shot out from the sanctuary, one after another. As it reached the skies, it formed into a mysterious net, some of which were filled with several Cuneiform symbols that moved about within…
That was Alex’s Thousand Flags Formation. Connecting each diagram into one, it constructed a large, complete formation.
Nadia and the others had fallen into Alex’s tricks before, especially to those Cuneiform symbols. They felt their scalps go numb.
“Retreat!” Nadia scowled and was first to back off, afraid that she’d be trapped again.
On the other hand, Lorelei and Nebula stood still, watching the group of people backing away thousands of meters.
Lorelei spoke up again. “Nadia, go back and tell Eustace this. Don’t mess around with the name of the Stoermer Sect. Some people View that sect as mental support. Its name is not one to be tarnished.”

It was as if there was a furnace inside of his body, smelting the medicinal benefits. His body would then send these benefits to his three thousand Nascent Souls. The seeds inside the Nascent Souls were glowing.
The goddess stared at Alex, truly shocked this time. “Those things inside the three thousand Nascent Souls… Is that the Blue Demonic Lotus? This bastard… He’s insane!”

Lorelei and Nebula looked towards the huge commotion within the sanctuary, immediately dashing back into the formation.
However, the commotion in the air wasn’t over just yet. Just as the two were about to enter the boundary, Alex shaped a seal with his hand and sent it into the formation, all while standing at the very peak of the mountain. With this, he brought the two women into the formation, sending them to the main area with some kind of special guidance.

Nadia and the others came back once again. To their demise, they were locked out by the formation, unable to take another step forward.
“Second Sis, can you break through this formation?” a servant of Eustace asked.
In actuality, Nadia was terrified of Alex’s formation. She just couldn’t understand how this young Wasteland native could obtain such brilliant formation skills.
‘Even if he were to start learning formations when he was in the womb, he shouldn’t be able to become so powerful… Especially when it came to formation symbols like Cuneiform.’
‘How troublesome.’
Looking rather pale, she wanted to test the boundary walls with her hand. She took another glance at Alex, who was still standing on the top and immediately retracted her hand, stumbling backward.

“Go, take me to see the sky stairs you mentioned, ” Alex said, lookin g towards the white jade building at the top of the distant mountain.
“All right, master!”
Lorelei appeared to be unbothered by her status as a little slave girl and even seemed to enjoy it at times. Soon, they arrived in a deserted valley.
There were sky stairs standing quietly in the valley, one end on the ground and the other boundless in the sky. They sensed a powerful aura as soon as they got close. As he approached the heavenly ladder, Alex was stunned because the mysterious ax in his sea of consciousness actually emitted a strong vibration.
It was a yearning. Alex was in complete shock.
This was an ax of extremely enigmatic origins. It was front his own cardiac acupoint!
It had never had much of a presence before, but each time it had been able to provide great assistance, for example, the last time, it was due to the appearance of the ax head, which had cut down one of Eustace’s spiritual bodies and made him know what to do.
