Alex pulled both of them up and asked, “Where is my daughter?”

One of the men froze for a moment before he asked, “Lord Saint, are you asking about your elder daughter or the younger one?”

Alex was startled for a while. “How many daughters do I have in this place?”

That man stretched out two fingers. “Two! Lena Rivers gave birth to the younger daughter some time ago.”

‘Lena Rivers? Did she really bear me a child?!’

Just as Alex was lost in thought, a Naga woman swam over. She looked lively and was very pretty.

“Alex!”

The newcomer was Shado Rivers. She rushed over and wrapped herself around Alex like an octopus. “Why did you come back so late? You’ve kept me waiting for so long. I can’t wait any longer!”

Being in a pleasant mood, Alex teased her in passing. “Why can’t you wait any longer? Are you in a hurry to marry someone? Oh right. You’re slim, graceful, and grown-up. You are even older than me, so it’s time for you to get married and have a kid.”

As Alex was separated by the water curtain before he entered it, he could see a little girl sitting upright on a bench at the intersection. She was looking at the gate, completely still, like a small statue.

She recognized this man. He was the black-faced uncle who always stood guard at the intersection. The black-faced uncle was a decent man. He often gave her food and accompanied her to wait for her father, but he was not her father.

The black-faced uncle beckoned to her. A smile appeared on his black face.

She did not want to move.

The black-faced uncle then quickly rushed over and told her loudly, “Bubbles, the Lord Saint is here! The father you’re waiting for is here. Your father has come to pick you up.”

She suspected that she was hallucinating again.

She missed her father so much!

The water curtain opened again. This time, a handsome man emerged…

“Dad, Dad!” The little girl shouted as she rushed over.

Alex embraced the girl, who rushed over and held her high.

“Dad, you’re here at last!” She sobbed.

Alex still remembered that Bubbles could only call him “daddy” before he left this secret realm. But now, she could speak so well. Her height was also at his waist.

Lena took Alex and met the lot from afar.

The Naga tribe gathered all the patients with the Lost Soul Syndrome in one place.

Alex asked, “Have you guys been infected?”

The great apothecary shook his head. “I suspected that it was a contagious disease at first, but clearly, it is not.”

“Can I take a look at the patients?”

Alex randomly selected a burly Naga and checked him through the Third Eye. Consequently, he found that this Naga man was very healthy with even breathing and strong heartbeats. He did not look like someone ill at all.

The Great Seal Spell within the Ten-Point Forbidden Spell bound it firmly and sealed it in front of his forehead.

“What..? What is this?!”

Lena, the great apothecary, and the others looked ghastly at the mass of black shadow sealed in front of Alex. They did not notice it at first, but they could see it after it was sealed.

It looked like a mass of black smoke containing spiritual consciousness, but it was ever-changing. It turned into a plaintive human face at one moment, and it turned into a hideous demon the next. It opened its mouth and shrieked while staring at Alex. However, it did not let out any sound.

Alex said, “This should be the culprit of the Lost Soul Syndrome, but this is likely to be just one stream of soul power. The real pathogen is still inside.”

He casually flicked a spark with his hand. It was none other than the flaming lotus of Buddha’s wrath.

However, the next second, the patient opened his mouth. A tongue that looked like a sharp sword aimed right at Alex’s forehead. That tongue was very long.

Alex was also surprised. The Naga people couldn’t possibly have such a long tongue. He hurriedly dodged it. After evading it in a narrow miss, he could smell an extremely rotten stench, which almost suffocated him. Alex did not give out a killer blow because this man was a patient from the Naga tribe.

But Lena was decisive. She quickly slashed at the man’s neck with the Sea-severing Sword in her hand, decapitating him right away.

The great apothecary was stunned. He simply doubted his eyes while looking at that long, black, and jagged tongue.

“How did this tongue grow?”

Just as their attention was fixated on that long tongue, that Naga, who had lost his head, suddenly began to mutate.

A row of spines grew out of his back, all his limbs thickened and lengthened as they were covered with patterns, his sternum protruded drastically, his flesh was ripped apart, and blood trickled down like spring water.

Adding to the astonishment, a new head grew out of his broken neck. This head was no longer a Naga head, but it was the head of a highly hideous and evil monster.

“Ahhh!!!”

A few physicians screamed in terror as they had never seen anything like that. Lena slashed at it with the Sea-severing Sword without hesitation. Immediately after, a metallic clang rang out. Much to their disbelief, the Sea-severing Sword did not sever his bone.

That completely threw them off guard.

“His bones have hardened!” said Lena, panicking.

“I’ll try!”

Alex took out a 300,000 pound Dao Killing Sword and exerted sufficient energy before he slashed at it hard.

The mutated Naga was cut into two. However, that blow failed to terminate him, and a howl escaped his mouth.

In the next second, a more dire situation turned up. All of those neatly arranged Naga patients opened their eyes in the large field. Their pupils were completely black, and all of them mutated at one go without having their heads cut off.

The atmosphere was filled with the sounds of bone spikes popping out of their bodies, broken bones, and dripping blood from torn muscles, sending chills down the listeners’ spines. Such a gory scene made the rest of their blood run cold, and they felt as if they had descended right into hell.

Shocked, the great apothecary asked, “What’s wrong with them? Why have they become like this?”

At that instance, the surrounding mutated Naga patients roared.

As soon as the voices boomed, something clicked in Alex’s mind. It sounded very familiar. He heard those voices countless times when hunted in the Undead Territory. Lena and other Nagas also had the same epiphany in that brief moment.

“It’s the Undying Clan!”

“D*mn it! How did they turn into the Undying Clan members?”

“They’re clearly our tribal people, but why did they turn into Undying Clan members?”

The Naga tribe suppressed this realm along with the great Genbu, and they often dealt with the Undying Clan. Hence, it wasn’t out of the ordinary that they could recognize the language of the Undying Clan.

Alex’s eyes gleamed as he roared. “You guys should leave quickly! Lena, go and protect the kids. I’ll deal with this place.”

Lena nodded, unhesitant. “Be careful. I’ll call the warriors over for help.”

She rushed out instantly.

In just a blink of an eye, a loud horning could be heard from outside.

“Die!”

Alex lifted the Dao Killing Sword in his hand and struck down, slaying the monsters one after another. He killed dozens of them in just a brief moment, but he was surrounded by dozens more at the same time.

Several hundred mutated monsters stared at Alex with bloodshot eyes and roared collectively. What followed after were all the monsters having their mouths wide open as they spat out chain-like tongues that were filled with jagged teeth before attacking Alex in all directions.

Alex went on a killing spree while trying to control his means and his attacks’ output.

A great number of monsters fell.

Shortly afterward, Naga’s reinforcements arrived. There were a total of a few hundred monsters, so it was difficult to stir up a huge storm. When they saw that all the monsters were about to be annihilated, one of them surprisingly spoke out in human language.

It was a woman’s voice. It sounded familiar.

“Alex Rockefeller, how about we make a deal?”

‘This voice… It’s the Undead Queen, Juvia!’ Alex was shocked. He didn’t expect this queen to show up at such a place.

He was even more surprised that she knew his name. He remembered that the Great Genbu didn’t mention his name at all the last time they met.

“You’re the Undead Queen, Juvia. How do you know my name?”

“Is it that hard to know your name?” The Undead Queen spoke. She was taking the form of a gorgeous woman hence her voice naturally changed to suit her appearance as well. Despite this, she maintained her own voice, which was quite a skill. “Not only do I know your name, I know a lot about you too.”

Alex chuckled coldly.

“What? You don’t believe me?” She asked.

“Indeed, I don’t.”

“Fine, let me tell you some of the information I acquired. You have a daughter living here, Bubbles… Right? Heh, what an odd name.”

Alex scoffed. “Is every Undead person the same as you?”

Juvia asked, “What do you mean?”

Alex retorted, “Are they as daft as you are?”

Juvia visibly froze, then cackled loudly. “It’s been so many years, yet I have never had anyone describe me with that adjective! You are the first to do so! Do you really think I only know such superficial information about you? Do you think I obtained your background from these useless mermaids?”

“Did you not?”

Juvia laughed, then proceeded to speak slowly. “Alex Rockefeller, child of Brittany and William Rockefeller. You have a wife, Dorothy Assex, who gave birth to your quadruplets, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.”

“Your other daughter, Bubbles, is your love child with another woman named Daya Stoermer…”

As Juvia continued to list out such information, Alex felt his entire body shudder.

‘This Undead Queen is actually able to acquire such accurate details about me. How did she find out?’

“So?”

“Do you believe me now?”

Alex didn’t respond to that question. Instead, he took a deep breath and asked, “How did you know all this?”

Juvia smiled. “I have my ways. So are you willing to make a deal with me now? I can wholeheartedly promise you that this is not a scam, and you won’t be suffering any losses.”

“What deal?”

“Follow me, and I will grant you everything you’ve ever wished for.”

Upon hearing her invitation, Alex was stunned. “Follow you? Whatever for?”

The Undead Queen answered, “Follow me, and I will make you the second most powerful being in this world.”

Alex asked, “Second? Will I be beneath you?

The Undead Queen said, “Correct.”

Alex grinned slyly. “I don’t like being beneath, though. I’d like to be on top of you.”

The Undead Queen huffed. “What big talk, but can you really handle that?”

“Probably. When I saw you last, you weren’t exactly that big. Two hands would definitely be enough to handle you.”

The Undead Queen fell silent. She was talking about status, yet Alex was talking about certain positions. He was literally insulting her on purpose, verbally harassing her even. She raised her voice suddenly. “Would you believe me when I say that I am capable of killing your wife and children, as long as I think about it?”

Alex didn’t respond again.

The Undead Queen continued, “But I am willing to give you a chance. Be a legend by joining our clan, and I won’t harm any of your friends and family.”

“Besides, I can soon show you a truly powerful world and the universe. Compared to that, your universe is just too weak. You have two choices now, so which will you choose?”

It would be quite troublesome if they lost the dungeon. More importantly, they had wasted too much time. Just then, the nearby palace, which was protected by a boundary, started vibrating vigorously, as if there was an earthquake. As if the sea had turned into a bottle of water, waves kept crashing up and down as if someone was shaking the bottle. Not far from them were three volcanoes, which started erupting out of nowhere. Lava then combined with the seas, turning it into weird sea soup.

“It’s the Undead!”

“They’ve gone mad after realizing their plans failed!”

However, Alex was happy that he, fortunately, came inside after opening the boundary earlier on. The Nagas would have been fully taken over by the Undead if he were any later. Not only would his daughter’s life be threatened, but the Undead would also be planning something even bigger and more sinister and infiltrate the human world sooner than expected.

“Lena, you can’t stay here any longer!” Alex found her and said, “Gather the entire Naga tribe and leave this dungeon. I’ll lead all of you to the outside. As a sea tribe, the Nagas had to live in the sea. Yet Yukon was inland, and it was only natural that there were no seas nearby.

Alex replied. “No, but we can look for places with seas.”

Lena said, “It’s okay, I’m familiar with America, and I know that there’s a place called Pompeii Fairyland. It’s surrounded by the sea, which means it suits our tribe the best! I am somewhat connected to that place as well. One of my elders used to be their sect master after all.”

“There might be trouble within Pompeii Fairyland, though. Many people from this universe are trying to get their hands on it.”

Lena smiled. “No worries. The sea surrounds it, remember? That’s the Nagas’ territory.”

“Alright, that’s settled then!”

On the other hand, Lena gathered her people and evacuated the palace, whereas Alex approached his two daughters.

Shado and another female Naga were watching them.

“Papa! ” Angel ran over and wrapped her arms around his thigh.

Not long after her birth, the little girl had to follow Alex into the Undead territory, then was brought along when be overturned the world. It was quite a difficult journey.

Although her mind hadn’t matured, nor could she speak back then, she was still extraordinary, especially since she was the legacy of the Goddess of Nature. She was able to remember every single incident clearly. Hence it was expected that she heavily relied on her father.

Alex picked her up. “Bubbles, would you like Papa to bring you to meet Mama?”

“Mama…” She seemed familiar with that term, yet not at the same time.

The little girl then hugged Alex’s neck and curled up into a bit of a ball, nodding gently.

Shado’s eyes were filled with hope, turning to Alex. “Is it true that we can leave this place? To the outside world?”

Alex smiled. “Of course, it’s true.”

“This is great! I’ve never been to the outside world. This will be my first time!” Shado was quite excited, as she had longed to see the outside world after all.

She was the one who left her village back then and headed into a place where no one in her tribe had ever been. That was how she met Alex. If she hadn’t, it would’ve been uncertain if Alex could even enter the palace.

Alex said, “But there’s too much trouble in the outside world. People keep fighting and waging war. It might not be as amazing as you imagined.”

Shado waved her hand back and forth. “So what? At least it’s better than guarding this place and waiting for the Undead to get past the barrier and kill us all, you know?”

“The Undead can’t get past our defense for now, and we didn’t need to help the Great Genbu when we were fighting either. So, to be honest, it’s been pretty mundane for the past two years!”

Alex let out a chuckle. “You still want to fight?”

Shado replied. “We Nagas are born warriors, so imagine how boring it’ll be if we don’t have to fight?”

“It’s too bad that I’m still not strong enough. Even if I did go out, I wouldn’t be able to leave the sea, unlike my grandma. She can live just fine, despite living on land for years!”

Alex responded. “You’ll achieve your dreams soon. Your grandma said she’d like to take over some place.”

Lena was still evacuating at the time, but Alex couldn’t wait any longer. He had to look for Cheryl, so he went through the teleportation door in the deserted village and got back to Yukon, bringing Angel along with him as well.

However, as he went through the door, he noticed something surprising. The teleportation door set in this dungeon was mobile, where he could move it however he wanted. When the Great Genbu gave this to him, he didn’t have the time to explain its functions. Hence, Alex only realized it now.

With this, Alex immediately took action and set the door to teleport the Nagas to a place nearer to the underwater palace so that it’d be more convenient for them to migrate.

When setting the teleportation door, Alex had a sudden idea. ‘Could I make this place into a powerful slaughter formation?’

‘So even if the Undead managed to break the barrier, they would have to face strong attacks right after.’

Alex showed up in the Yukon sanctuary with Angel. Daya, who was training at the time, instantly sensed a presence.

‘It’s Angel! My daughter came back!’

She received the Goddess’s legacy when her daughter was born instead of her. Thus, their connection was rather special. If it weren’t for the Great Genbu dungeon cutting off their connection, she would’ve looked for them long ago.

With a quick dash, Daya appeared right in front of them. “My love, she… Is she…”

Alex nodded.

Despite this, the woman’s sudden appearance and sheer excitement startled Angel. The little girl continued to curl up in her father’s arms, peeking at Daya with the corner of her eyes.

“Bubbles, say Mama! She is your mother, and she had been through a lot to give birth to you, you know? She gave you everything she could provide and only used the best.”

As he spoke, Alex’s words made Daya tear up, nearly crying out loud as well.

“Mama…”

As Bubbles called out to her softly, Daya pulled her into a warm embrace and started crying, rmable to control her emotions any longer.

Alex spoke up. “Daya, show our daughter around for the time being. I have to look for Cheryl.”

Daya was slightly upset. “Our family literally just reunited, yet you’re going to look for another woman now? No way!”

Alex replied. “This is really important. Cheryl is related to the Undead Queen in some way. I even fought the queen just now.”

Daya shrieked in disbelief. “You’re joking, right?”

Watching Alex leave hurriedly, Daya knew that this was indeed a real emergency.

After that, Angel spoke for her father as well. “Mama, everyone in the tribe said that the Undead clan was coming. There were earthquakes and volcano eruptions every day…”

Daya frowned. “The Undead…”

Angel continued. “Don’t be afraid, Mama. I’ll protect you two! Look, I have a lot of friends too.”

With a wave of her hand, a row of small trees grew out of the ground. They then uprooted themselves and turned into tiny tree folk, surrounding the two as protection. However, these trees weren’t tall, just merely a few inches taller than the little girl herself.

Daya smiled. “Okay, Mama will have to rely on my little Angel’s protection then.”

“I’m not little Angel! I’m little Bubbles…”

Upon hearing this, Daya fell speechless from frustration. ‘Your Papa is such a moron…’

At that time, Juvia was sitting on a tall throne in the Undead territory.

There were four neat rows of higher-ups in front of her, which looked similar to a royal assembly back in ancient times.

A while ago, they gathered at such an assembly when they couldn’t open the boundary as well. Hence, they put their minds together and thought of sending souls over to control the Nagas in order to open up the Great’s Genbu’s boundary from within.

Yet now, their plan was utterly ruined, and the entire Naga tribe was migrating. They were able to sense that there wasn’t a single one of them left through the walls of the boundary.

“Damn it! That human Alex deserves to rot in hell!”

“It was also because of him that the damned old turtle’s boundary was in our way for so long! And now he foiled our great plan! We have to kill him off.”

The rest of the Undead clan started shouting, outraged as well. Not all of them were human after all, as most looked more rugged than others. Especially the first few Undead Kings in the front row, they were nearly twenty meters tall.

The Undead Queen leaned against her armrest, looking downwards with a lazy expression. “Shut up, all of you. You make so much noise but can’t come up with any good ideas. How useless. Look at yourselves. Despite having such big heads, it seems like your brains were replaced by glue.”

With this, one of the Kings scratched his head, actually causing something sticky and slimy to fall to the ground.

Juvia felt extremely disgusted by this, even though she merely took one glance.

Just then, an extremely sexy woman in revealing clothing walked up to her. That was, in fact, a human, where her appearance was drop-dead gorgeous, and she even wore a tight leather suit. It was likely that there wasn’t much fabric around the area, so her suit only covered her private parts. Moreover, everybody else was Undead, they only had skeletons. Without any flesh, they didn’t have the need to cover anything.

“Sister, this is a secret letter we just received from another realm.” The woman then handed a ball of light to the queen.

Juvia frowned as she took the ball of light and placed it on her forehead. After that, her expression darkened further.

The woman in the leather suit whispered under her breath. “What does it say, Sis?”

Juvia replied. “The Nascent Lord is heavily injured. Aojo Bay has been taken over too.”

The two were currently speaking in a different language from when they spoke to the Undead.

“Huh? How did that even happen? Can we still go back then?”

“If we can’t take over this universe, it’ll all be wishful thinking. If we’d like to go back, we can’t waste any more time… It’s been ten thousand years, and I’m growing impatient.”
