Agatha’s expression became gloomy. She didn’t know what to do in this situation, especially with the Peacock Heavenly King’s true soul still being inside. Hence, she couldn’t use the Void Crystal of Annihilation, or else the entire entity would be obliterated, which meant they did all this for naught.

A large ball of black flames flew towards them. Dorothy used her own flames to guide it away and was able to dodge it.
On the other hand, Esmeralda bumped right into it, mainly because she was a water cultivator. Many defense treasures she had on her couldn’t even last for ten seconds under those flames, shattering one after another.
Despite this, the flames continued to burn as if they wanted to burn everything down to the ground.
Agatha then used a secret spell to lock the peacock, hopping to Esmeralda’s rescue. Unexpectedly, she ended up catching fire after saving her disciple. In an instant, her shoes, socks, and cuffs were burned off entirely. Even her fair leg was starting to burn.

“Master!” Esmeralda yelled as she rushed over in hopes of helping put out the fire.
However, Agatha stopped her right away. “Don’t come near me. These are flames from the Chi universe, and they can burn through anything. You can’t extinguish it.”
“What do we do?” Esmeralda was so concerned that she was tearing up.
The peacock cackled. “There is a way, you know? You can cut your leg off before my flames get to your heart. But I have to remind you that you wouldn’t be able to recover in this state even as a queen of gods.”
“So? What will you choose? Would you like to lose a leg or be burned to death?”
Agatha was resolute, instantly raising her hand fan to chop off her leg.
Just then, a heavy sword appeared and blocked her fan off. It was Alex
The woman continued to endure the pain, yet still frowning. “Alex, what are you doing?”
Alex said, “You don’t have to chop it off. I have a plan.”
Esmeralda immediately asked, “What is it? Can she really keep her leg?”
Alex nodded. “I can try!”
After saying that, he touched Agatha’s burning leg. “Don’t touch me!” She shouted, retracting her leg.
However, Alex’s grip was quite firm while he put his mouth on her leg as if trying to kiss it. Yet he wasn’t kissing her at all. He was sucking on it.
Agatha was shocked, thinking that the man was too brave for his own good. She would have to cut off her entire leg just from burning a small part of it.
‘And you’re using your mouth? Are you going to have to cut it off too?’
More importantly, Alex was using this to suck in the black flames on Agatha’s leg, consuming it with his mouth.
“Ah!”
“Is he crazy?!”
“How could he suck on this thing?!”
More surprising was that Alex’s mouth didn’t catch fire despite sucking in that much fire. Moreover, the fire really did decrease by half after he did this.
Although it was still rather painful, the pain wasn’t as unbearable anymore. After taking another few deep breaths, Alex managed to suck in every bit of the flames. Without the demonic flames, Agatha could use her powers with ease again. In the blink of an eye, she recovered from her wounds.
“Alex, are you alright?” She stared at Alex.
It didn’t matter that he just kissed her thigh. Before speaking, he even let out a burp.
‘What a weirdo!’
After that, he responded. “I’m fine. I just want to keep sucking.”
Agatha raised her leg to his face. “There’s no fire anymore, so why do you need to keep sucking?”
Alex stared at the flames on the peacock, clearly feeling a strong desire toward it. He proceeded to jump onto it without hesitation.

Agatha didn’t pay enough attention, only to watch as Alex rushed in like that. Everyone else was utterly speechless too. According to what they’d seen, not even Agatha could easily defeat that peacock.
‘Does he think he has nothing to fear when he could suck in its flames?’
“Come back here!” Dorothy shouted.
“We can’t let him get over there. That’s the ancient Peacock Heavenly King, a being who had been living since ancient times. What is this kid doing? That’s not the best way to go out!”
Agatha wasn’t slow with her actions, even when she was still talking. She immediately activated her carrots once again, releasing even stronger electric bolts while locking down the peacock. She also threw her fan, which was following right behind Alex.
Esmeralda, however, turned herself into a snake, trying to catch up to Alex.
“So you can consume my flames, human brat! Interesting, but do you really think you can take in all my flames, just from the little bit of flames you sucked in just now? Alright then, I’ll just have to grant your death wish!”
The demonic god within the peacock started growling angrily. The black fire started burning even stronger, gathering together as it formed into a black fire dragon, dashing straight towards Alex.
None of the women dared to look at this point.
Shelly even started yelling at him in his mind palace too. “You idiot, do you have no will to live? This thing is at least a king of gods. Any of his attacks could demolish you. Why are you acting like a hero now?!”
“Oh, I know. Are you trying to get with Agatha just because she’s a queen of gods who looks like a young girl? I’m telling you, she is married. She literally has a husband. Can you not control yourself for a second?”
Alex ignored her entirely and activated his Great Swallow Spell when faced with the black fire dragon. All of his lotus flowers were now quivering, getting ready for him.
Just then, the dragon wrapped itself around his body in an instant.
“Ah!”
“My love!”
Esmeralda and Dorothy yelled at the same time. Agatha’s eyes widened, too. She figured that Alex wouldn’t be able to escape from such a large ball of fire. Hence, he would definitely be injured by the flames. Leaping into the air with a stop, she brought along her strongest weapon, the hand fan.
Alex was the seed who is very important to their plan on defeating the Undead. They couldn’t afford to lose him at all. However, before Agatha could reach Alex, she noticed golden light shining out of his body. Behind him was the image of a lotus flower blooming beautifully.
Alex was very familiar with such lotus flowers since he quite literally had three thousand of them inside of him. Yet this was still the first time a golden phantom of a lotus flower appeared out of thin air. With this, Alex felt like he had an immense amount of security as if he didn’t need to be afraid at all. He didn’t know where this feeling came from, but his subconscious seemed to have prepared itself to handle the black flames when the golden lotus flower protected him.
Boom!
The black dragon was trying to eat Alex whole. At the very same time, Alex opened his mouth up to consume it as well.
“Huff!”
“The Great Swallow Spell!”
Shaking, the golden lotus flower seemed to have given Alex a lot of support. Not only did it protect him from the demonic flames, it helped him absorb the flames quicker, transferring the energy to himself.
The large dragon was completely swallowed within minutes.
“What?!”
“How is this even possible?!”

The demonic god within the peacock was utterly shocked. He knew how powerful his flames were, as they could burn everything down, even law powers. Yet this human kid was able to swallow it just like that.
‘Is he not worried that his stomach might get burnt to crisp?’
In reality, the energy that Alex had absorbed didn’t go into his stomach. It went into that golden lotus flower instead. The energy of these flames didn’t have to go through Alex’s body and entered the three thousand lotus flower bases, turning itself into nutrition for the flowers.
At the time, Alex’s lotus flowers were chanting and wavering happily. They seemed very satisfied with the energy be consumed. Just then, the semi-transparent flower started shivering vigorously again. There was more pollen falling from its petals. Without needing Alex’s consciousness to check on it, the pollen went straight to Alex’s mind so that he could absorb it.
On the other hand, another flower bloomed on the same stem.
‘A twin lotus?’ Alex froze.
At the same time, a message appeared before his eyes…
The Great Swallow Spell had been upgraded to level two.
‘This..? These Forbidden Spells… Are they going to grow a twin lotus out whenever they upgrade to the second level?’
“What about the third and fourth, then?”
He was starting to get more excited about this.

After that, she urgently called for Dorothy and Esmeralda, sending out a mental lock into the peacock together in hopes of trying to get the demonic god out.

“You bunch of weaklings, you have no idea who you’re dealing with. How dare you try to take my soul? You’re pushing your luck.”
“Looks like I’ll just have to take all your souls to myself!”
The demonic god attacked, using the Peacock Heavenly King’s energy to grab Agatha and the others’ souls.
Esmeralda was the first to give up, as she couldn’t take it any longer, screaming while hiding her head under both arms. Soon after, Dorothy and Agatha felt like something wasn’t right too.
Suddenly, Shelly and Ancestor Bodhi came out of Alex’s mind palace. Sending the Ancestral Bodhi Tree, Ancestor Bodhi was able to tie the Peacock Heavenly King. The roots seeped into its body, limiting the demonic god’s power so that he couldn’t harm Yuno’ soul anymore.
“Come out now!”
The demonic god was finally ripped out of the peacock with everyone working together. It was the spirit of an old man. His face was twisted while he screamed and cussed at them.
Agatha ordered. “Don’t hold back when it comes to scum like this. Let’s clear out the trash now! Everyone, attack!”
This battle lasted for a whole ten minutes.
In such situations, they were graced with great advantage. Even then, it still took so long to kill off this demonic god. It wasn’t easy for them at all.
Despite this, they still managed to save Yuno’ spirit.
“Senior! Yuno! Are you there?” Alex asked the Peacock Heavenly King with telepathy.
Unexpectedly, he heard an unfamiliar voice. “I’m not Yuno!”

“You’re not Yuno? Then who are you?”
Alex wasn’t the only one confused. Agatha and the others felt like they were going to faint, as it took them a lot to be able to kill off that demonic god and save Yuno at the same time.
“And now you’re telling us you’re not Yuno?”
“I am the Peacock Heavenly King!” The unfamiliar voice then emphasized, “The true Peacock Heavenly King!”
After a short pause, she continued. “Thank you for all your help, else I would’ve actually become someone else.”
Alex immediately questioned. “Then what about Yuno? Is Yuno not the Peacock Heavenly King?”
The voice replied. “Yuno… She is probably one of my divided souls. She was able to escape this place, but she came back horribly injured. I didn’t have a choice but to dissipate her so that she could merge back into my soul again.”
It turned out she really didn’t have any other way to deal with that. She was indeed part of her soul, after all.
‘But wouldn’t dissipating her mean that none of her memories will remain?’
Yuno hadn’t been with Alex for long. It had only been at most two years since he started dating Phoebe. He remembered that Yuno told him to train Phoebe up to the Spirit Severing stage within three years and to follow her to someplace.
It would seem that she was talking about this underwater city. However, Alex suddenly went to the Undead Territory after the accident at the Flying Eagles Academy. He completely disappeared from this face of the Earth.
It was likely that Yuno had lost hope in Alex since then. Yet now, Alex knew that he would be left with regret if he were to allow Yuno to dissipate just like that. He spoke up. “Miss Peacock, I know a thing or two about healing souls. Can you release your divided soul, Yuno, so that I can have a look at her?”
“Maybe I might be able to heal her, then you won’t have to completely dissipate her.”
The peacock asked, “And what’s the point of that? She is just a divided soul.”
Alex responded. “Do you not want to keep her memories? At least you’ll know what was going on when she was away.”
The peacock didn’t really care much but decided to agree, seeing how persistent Alex was about this matter.
Her forehead burst with light as a ball of green light floated out from between her brows. There seemed to be a faint phantom of a peacock within that green light. It was small and spiritual, and it had its eyes closed. However, the phantom didn’t seem to be stable at all. It would become blurry once in a while, which was a symptom of an unstable, divided soul.
Alex then called the ball of green light over with his finger, placing it in the middle of his palm. “Yuno, Yuno..?”
“Alex, I didn’t expect you… To have gotten this far…” Yuno’ divine consciousness entered Alex’s mind yet still sounded quite faint.
“I knew you wouldn’t die so easily. Phoebe insisted on believing that too. I’m delighted that you could come back safely and save my original body.”
“I’m here to save you too. You don’t have to say anything.” Alex said.
“There’s no use. I am just a divided soul. I’m already incomplete, and after injuring my core, I couldn’t possibly restore how I initially was.” Yuno’ divine consciousness was weak and distant.
Hence Alex was the only one who could hear her voice.
“As a divided soul, I’d have to return at some point. The ending is all the same.”
“But you will forget about everything.”
“It’s okay, I’ve been here before, and I’ve lived independently before. I even got to know you and Phoebe. That’s more than enough for me.”
Alex shook his head. He would feel terrible if Yuno were to be dissipated, as it would feel like she died right in front of him, no less. Reaching his hands out, he activated his Chi, the Ultimate Book of Medicine, and several Zharvakko talismans. He then inserted all of this into Yuno’ dissipating soul, using it on her. He even grabbed a handful of pills and extracted its medicinal powers, sending it straight into her soul.

Yuno’s soul still couldn’t seem to stabilize. Yet the ball of green light became brighter and brighter.
Yuno smiled softly. “Stop wasting your energy. Once I return to my original body, I am still part of the Peacock Heavenly King.”
Alex stopped and let out a deep sigh.
Just then, the peacock gestured towards the light, returning it back into herself. She was stunned for a brief while. “The soul is still somewhat unstable, but you managed to retain her memories. You did very well already.”
As she merged Yuno into her soul, she went through her memories.
“Hmm?”
Suddenly, the peacock frowned as she found out that there were scenes of sleeping with Alex within Yuno’s memories… She obviously didn’t sleep with him as herself, but she was in Phoebe’s body instead. However, the memories were simply unacceptable when Yuno had taken over Phoebe’s body.
As an ancient god, the Peacock Heavenly King couldn’t possibly leave such dirty memories in her body, as she would be only tainting herself.
Whoosh!
The peacock stopped the merging and used her pure divine power to cut off Yuno’ divided soul, even going as far as slicing through the part where it was connected to her actual soul.
She huffed. “I don’t want this divided soul anymore.”
“Huh..?” Alex froze.
‘How could she just say she doesn’t want it?’
“I’ve already cut off the mark of the Peacock Heavenly King within the divided soul. Her memories are not mine. You can just let her go back to that Phoebe human. Just take it as a thank from me!”
Alex was dumbfounded and immediately caught Yuno’s soul with his hands.
Just then, Agatha spoke up. “Senior, the Diffracted universe is currently being invaded by the Undead. Some of our human Supremes had also fallen into the Ancient Path. Could you perhaps lead us there so that we can save them?”
“The Ancient Path?” The peacock fell silent for ten seconds.
“That place had experienced several mutations and damages. No one knows where the actual entrance is because it had been broken off from the Divine Starnest, wandering about on its own. That’s why its location is unknown as if it were an illusion. Unless…”
Agatha asked hurriedly, “Unless what?”
The peacock said, “Unless you can find the Dairaionji Temple and have them recognize you as a worthy ally, receiving the greatest permission within. Then you’d be able to use its Full Realm Power to move the Ancient Path to its original placement.”

Just then, Alex spoke up. “I might be of help.”
Agatha asked, “How are you going to help? The entire Siddhartha realm was destroyed. Even all the Buddhas had fallen.”
Dorothy pointed toward her man. “He is the future Buddha.”
Agatha was so shocked that she nearly bit her tongue. “He’s going to be Buddha? He had so many women! The holy realm would become a whole brothel.”
Alex spoke up again. “Sister Agatha, now that’s where you’re wrong. The holy realm isn’t only for virgins. It’s a religion, a type of faith, and a type of law. One of the laws within the colossal cultivation of heaven and earth actually.”
“It has nothing to do with sex. Both men and women can join Buddhism, even couples. There is a ‘no marriage’ rule for Buddhists in the mortal realm, only because they are worried, we don’t have enough energy and willpower.
