The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2401

“What should we do now? We can’t even get in.” The middle aged man looked very anxious too.

Cameron saw a ventilation duct all of a sudden.

In the basement…

Waylon had already defeated all enemies and used up half of his energy

His back was drenched in sweat, and the clean and white clothes were all stained, torn, and wrinkled.

The ship suddenly swayed when Waylon walked out of the operating room, and he hit the wall His injured and bleeding art hit the pipe on the wall, causing him to frown in pain.

He took out his cell phone, but there was no signal

Waylon walked out of the freight elevator covering his arms, and his gaze landed on the window.

A layer of thick mist had begun to shroud the surface of the ocean, and the distant view was blurred.

He clicked his tongue and hurried toward the cockpit.

Cameron arrived at the cockpit through the ventilation duct, kicked open the metal cover of the duct, and jumped down from above.

She then opened the hatch immediately.

The captain heard the commotion and was about to look back when Cameron instantly pressed the sharp dagger in her hand against the back of his head. “Don’t move!”

The captain froze in place. “What do you want…”

The female attendant came in at that moment. “Captain, please stop the ship. The sea has started to fog up!”

The captain sneered. He was not afraid of Cameron’s threat. “If you kill me now, that’s it for this ship.”

Cameron’s expression turned stern. “So, do you plan to disregard the safety of all the passengers on board, including yourself?”

“So what? If I’m sure to be apprehended by the police, I might as well drag everyone on board down to hell with me now.”

The female attendant’s face turned pale in an instant. “Sir, have you lost your mind?” Cameron looked back at the middle-aged man. “How long have you been sailing?”

The middle-aged man replied, “Twenty years.”

The captain was stunned for a moment as if he did not expect anyone else to know how to conn a ship. He took advantage of the others’ unawareness and pressed the thrust reverser abruptly.

When a large ship was throttling at high speed, it was difficult for it to decelerate and come to a complete halt in one second. As for the thrust reverser, it reversed the propeller and rotated the rotor of the ship at a large angle.

The boat tilted sideways, and everyone on board lost their balance. Even the beverages, tableware, tables, and chairs on the deck tumbled to the ground.

The people in the cockpit fell to the floor because of the sudden loss of balance.

The middle-aged man realized what the captain was planning to do and shouted anxiously, Crap, stop him now! The ship will capsize if this continues!”

The  process was equivalent to putting a car into reverse gear.

If the captain of a ship were to drop the anchor while the boat was accelerating at high speed, using the force to increase the resistance in order to stop the boat instantly, it would force the ship to decelerate rapidly, and the anchor’s chain might break. The windlass would also be damaged.

This operation was extremely dangerous. If it were not performed perfectly, the boat would capsize.

Cameron dashed forward in time and subdued the captain to the floor. She held him down and lifted her head. “You’re up!”

Before the middle-aged man could return to his senses, Cameron shouted, “You have to believe in yourself! Otherwise, your experience of conning a cargo ship for 20 years will be wasted in this case!

“I… I’ll do my best.” The middle-aged man grabbed the helm, but he was very scared and flustered at the moment.

After all, he was only a cargo ship’s captain. There were so many people on board the cruise ship. All the passengers would die on his watch if there were any deviations or mistakes.

The subdued captain on the floor laughed out loud. “You want a cargo ship captain to conn a cruise ship? Keep dreaming! Hahaha, there’s no way that he can do it without me. I know this ship better than anyone else!”

A thick layer of mist outside the windshield completely blocked the line of sight while the route on the screen had been turned off. The whole process was tantamount to blind navigation.

The middle-aged man could not see the condition of the ocean’s surface, and he could not even see the positioning of the cruise ship. If they were to run into any obstacles or ships that were also lost in the mist at this time, it would be the end for everyone on board.

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2402

The middle-aged man was sweating profusely, and his hands that were holding the helm were trembling too.

Cameron glanced at him.

‘I can’t act anxiously now. My anxiousness will directly affect him.”

“Have you ever encountered such a situation when you were conning a cargo ship?”

The middle-aged man gulped his saliva and responded, “This is extremely rare.

She stayed calm and asked him frankly, “If you were to run into such a situation, what would you do?”

The middle-aged man was stunned for a moment.

‘The inertia of a boat traveling at such a high speed is very high, and it’s not easy to stop it under such a circumstance.’

“If this were to happen to me…’

The middle-aged man took a deep breath.

‘No one wants to die, and neither do 1. At this moment, I can only give it a try Maybe we’ll still have a chance. We won’t have any chance at survival if I don’t try ‘

He held the helm tightly. When sailing in such a thick mist, being vigilant and avoiding collisions were the principles to follow. The anchor that had been lowered before this was dragged along the seabed, creating loud friction.

The middle-aged man switched to the main engine to stall the sail, slowing the speed of the cruise ship by a little. Combined with his thrust reverser operating skills, he tried to reduce the damage to the main engine caused by the abrupt reversal of the ship that the captain brought about earlier, and the ship began to slow down gradually.

When the cruise ship stopped, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. The passengers who were frightened and weeping hugged each other and cried in joy.

The middle-aged man could not believe that he had actually managed to stop the boat.

The attendant cheered. “It’s stopped. It finally stopped!”

The captain, who Cameron subdued, was stunned.

‘How is this possible!? A cargo ship captain actually stopped the ship after I left it in a catastrophic situation by performing an abrupt thrust reversal and a one-sided instant anchoring!?’

Cameron punched the captain in the face, causing him to howl. “Just look at your pathetic look. How did you even make it here as a cruise ship captain?”

The helicopter finally found the moored cruise ship in the mist and called the maritime police’s patrol ship, “The ship has stopped safely, and we’re approaching it now.”

The commander nodded. “Okay, we’ll be there in a second.”

After hanging up the satellite phone, the pilot turned around and said, “Contact all nearby ships and ask them to prepare for emergency avoidance lest collisions.”

On the cruise ship, Cameron tied the heavily injured captain.

The captain looked devastated. “This is it. I’m as good as dead now.”

Cameron removed his smelly socks and shoved them in his mouth. “If you have anything to say, say it to the police.”

Cameron asked the middle-aged man and the attendant to keep a close eye on him, got up hurriedly, and went out to search for Waylon.

When she saw a man who looked wounded and ruffled in the corridor, she was astonished and ran toward him immediately. “Wayne Goldmann!”

She reached out and grabbed his arm, and he hissed sharply.

Only then did Cameron realize that his arm was injured and bleeding “Aren’t you a great fighter? How did you get so battered?”

Waylon leaned against her, smiled, and mocked her. “I’ve given all my strength to you. What

you expect me to have left?”

Cameron choked on her reply, punched him in the shoulder, and hugged him abruptly. Waylon was slightly startled and stared down at her. A hint of tenderness flashed across his eyes upon seeing that she was feeling distressed because of him. “I’m fine, so don’t worry.” She raised her head. “Why didn’t you get beaten into a pulp above the neck level?”

He smirked. “You like my face, so I did everything I could to protect it.”

“You make it sound like I’m such a shallow and superficial person…”

“Then what do you like about me?” Waylon shifted part of his weight onto her as if he would black out and collapse at any moment.

Cameron could not help but support him, and her eyes moved. “I have no idea.”

“Cam, I’m rather tired.” As soon as he said so, he gradually and slowly closed his eyes and lost consciousness.

Cameron was instantly shocked, and she supported him to prevent him from falling to the ground. “Wayne! Wayne Goldmann!”

The CEO Alpha King By Blessing D The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 1

Serena’s POV

As I stood in front of one of the biggest and tallest skyscrapers in the city, I couldn’t help but feel in awe at it. With the bright 8am sun shining brightly and reflecting against the Apex, it looked like a magical castle except with glass as it’s walls. It was tall, huge and spoke of Wealth.

With the inscription ‘WILLIAM ZEE FASHION INDUSTRY’ just at the center of the building, a wave of pride flushed through me.

I was going to be working here!

The biggest fashion industry in the country, home to beautiful and recognized models. It was an empire on its own.

I couldn’t stop the rush of excitement that rushed through me as I thankful appreciated my sister in my mind. She works here and had secured a job for me at the last minute.

“Hey!” A loud voice shouted from inside the building, and I recognized the older man from my interview a week ago.

“Why are you standing there? Aren’t you one of the new interns? Get your fucked up ass in!” He yelled And I hurriedly snapped out of my awe, rushing excitedly into the building.

“Go straight. Follow that line and you’ll see a door. Your fellow interns are there, the president wants to meet each and every one of you.” He pointed towards a direction just opposite what I figured was a lounge area.

I nodded my head in thanks, rushing through the corridors while admiring every office I passed through. The interior of the building was far more exquisite than the exterior.

With glass doors, sparkling chandeliers hanging from very high ceilings, and beautiful artworks hanging off sterile white walls. The whole place was gorgeous.

I found the door, took a deep breath and pulled it open. My gaze fell on four other guys in the room, they sat in single chairs as each of them eyes fixed solely on me.

I recognized them immediately from the interview and I realised I had been the only girl who must have been picked.

I had no doubt that my sister might have put in a good word for me so I got selected.

I ignored their glances, but mostly because I was shy and hurriedly went in, shutting the door slightly and taking the seat closest to me.

I hadn’t sat down completely when the door opened again to reveal a young woman with bright red hair, a frown on her lips and blue eyes that glared daggers at everyone before stopping at me.

I shifted uncomfortably at the attention before she spoke in a fierce voice. “Number One rule. Never be late.” She said, walking in and slamming the door shut loudly, I jerked in my seat.

“I’m sorry.” I whispered, and I saw her nod before looking at the other guys. I almost sigh in relief.

“Yes, as I was saying. The CEO of our company, Mr Zed Williams will come to personally see you guys. I’ll advise you to act normal but brave at the same time. Don’t make any silly mistake when speaking when you aren’t spoken to.” She said, folding her arms in all seriousness.

“Mr Zed hates that.” Her blue eyes turned to me once more.

Why is she staring at me that way? Did I do something wrong again? I wondered, taking my eyes to the floor this time, not wanting to feel her penetrating gaze.

“What is your name?” She pointed to me in question, unfolding her arms to watch me accusingly.

”Me?” I asked, pointing towards myself acting foolishly like I always do.

“Yes. You,” she rolled her eyes in annoyance.

“It’s Serena ma’am.” I answered, almost standing up in fear to respond to her.

“Serena what?” She asked again, louder this time and I couldn’t help but rise abruptly to my feet. I could feel the other four pairs of eyes burning Williams.”

I watched as she took out a file that she had dropped on the table upon walking in. She furrowed her eyebrows  it and facing me, softly this time.

“Okay Serena, I’ll personally advise you to sit at the back and be firm. Don’t behave the way you did earlier or you might get yourself thrown out.” She advised, and I nodded vigorously before taking my seat, breathing loudly in relief.

“Ok now. I’ll leave you guys, stay here until the boss comes, you can’t leave this place.” Her stern voice boomed, and from the corner of my eyes I saw the guys nod.

“I’ll leave now.” room, slamming the door shut once more.

I flipped my head on the table, feeling lighter as she left. I wiped my sweaty palms against my gown, before putting my hand above my chest to calm my beating heart.

This was supposed to be the time my wolf in me would try to calm me, but all that was left was just my own mind constantly reminding how clumsy and weak I was. And how I was so undeserving of anything good.

And not only a constant reminder of everything I wasn’t. She had the beauty, brains, perfect figure, dashing smile, smooth skin.

And though I could accept she was far better than me, what I couldn’t come to accept was the constant reminder that I was the one who killed my mother.

While I hadn’t taken a knife or gun at my mother, she had died giving birth to me. And my sister, joined by the same mother but not the same father, drilled that into my head get mad at her when she accused me of it, but after some time, seeing how far she had gone in modelling and securing a bright future for herself, I came to realise that maybe I was the one with issues.

The clumsy she-wolf, like everyone called me. The one who got rejected in every company I applied to. The one who didn’t go to college. The ugly one.

And after giving in to her, she finally announced to me that she had secured  she worked at. While it wasn’t my dream job, it was still something I was grateful to her for.

“Serena.” I heard a male voice call me. I lifted my head up to stare at the guy sitting in front of me. His blonde hair swept back from his face to reveal bright green eyes. He had a dimple in his cheeks as he smiled at me. He was handsome. I couldn’t deny that.

“Hey.” I heard him snap his fingers at me to my head, snapping out of my gaze. I hadn’t realized I had been admiring his eyes as a blush tainted my cheeks.

He chuckled as the other guys and I wanted to sink into the ground.

“Your phone is ringing.” he shook his head in amusement and I realised my phone was ringing loudly in my bag.

I immediately took it out to see it was my sister calling. I picked it and placed it over my left ear.

“Serena, are you here already?” Her voice sounded, impatiently.

“I’m at the company but-” I started to say but as usual, she never let me speak.

“Ask around for the dressing room. Come there now.” She ordered before ending the call abruptly.

My mind flashed at the warning the red haired woman had said, concerning not leaving until the CEO arrived. I already angered her once and I couldn’t disobey this time.

I sighed deeply, taking my phone to dial my sister but it went straight to voicemail. I groaned and confusion welled through me.

What should I do?

Should I quickly go and tell her I wasn’t supposed to leave?

Hopefully the CEO wouldn’t have arrived by then.

I looked at the time and it read, 817am. By 830 I should be back here. No harm done. And as quick as a fox.

I rose to my feet, flinging my bag on my shoulders as I made my way towards the door, when a voice called out to me.

“Are you going somewhere?” I turned to see the blonde guy who had spoken to me earlier, his eyes laced with worry.

“I will be back.” I replied to him tiredly before walking out.

I rushed to a worker dressed in a corporate suit. He stops to glare at me, glancing through my oversized gown and worn out shoes.

“What is it?” He asked, his voice tainted with a little bit of disgust.

“Please, where is the dressing room?” I ask, sounding as polite as I could, ignoring the stare he gave me once more.

Seems like everyone had an attitude problem in the company. I said nothing though before he spoke again.

”Fifth floor.” He walked away not waiting for me to utter a thank you. I rushed towards the elevator, narrowly missing a lady who was walking with a husky.

I got to the dressing room completely awe by the numerous clothes hanging off different racks, everyone seemed to be busy as they went about the large room.

My eyes settled on one of the models already dressed. She was in a long silver gown, with her blonde hair styled perfectly and felt in waves over her shoulders. She stood in a pose with a camera shutter in front of her.

The moment her gaze found mine, I blushed and went around in search of my sister. Maybe I wasn’t supposed to be looking. I wasn’t sure, but I didn’t stick around to find out.

I found my sister at the extreme end of the room, in a perfect red gown that clinged to her like a second skin. Her curves stood out as she admired herself in the mirror, her hair tied up exposing pale smooth skin. Her hazel eyes found mine immediately and she turned to me. A frown working itself upon her bright red lips.

“You are late.” She walked time folding her hand in front of her chest, pushing her breast up a little.

“I’m sorry Kate. But I came to tell you that we were asked to stay back and wait for the CEO because he is gonna be seeing us before we start anything,” I said to her, glancing briefly at a model who passed me, a make up artist hot on her heels.

“The CEO isn’t coming to work today.” Kate rolled her eyes, ignoring me as she grabbed my hand leading me to a heap of clothes on a large sofa.

“I need you to sort out these dresses for me. Colour by colour, texture by texture.” She orders and I open my mouth to speak but she beats me to it.

“You are nothing but an assistant here. This is your work. You are here to assist us in getting dressed. And that includes sorting out our clothes. Today is your first day, you should work without complaining, come on. Go to work,” she snapped her fingers at me before walking off to talk to another model who just walked in.

I sigh before getting down to work. She said that the CEO wasn’t coming to work today after all, I might as well just do it and return after that.

“Kate, don’t tell me that ‘thing’ is your sister?” I heard a voice ask and I turned to see the model I had been gawking at earlier, eyeing me while talking to my sister.

“Sadly, my mom adopted her out of pity before she died.” I heard Kate yawn as if bored.

“What a relief. You’re so pretty while she looks like a lizard.” I heard her chuckle.

“Come on Betty. Why refer to her as a lizard in her presence? You should have just said it behind her back.” I heard my sister feign sadness before laughing.

“Oh please. What can she do to me? She is an intern, I can easily get her fired,” Betty said, joining Kate in laughter.

But I didn’t turn to look at them as I continued sorting out the dresses, my sight getting blurry as I felt tears gathering around them.

“It’s alright Serena. You are not a lizard. You are many things but not a lizard, just ignore them, ignore them.” A voice whispered in my head.

Many times I was sad or depressed, there was that tiny voice, encouraging me. And sadly, I knew it wasn’t my wolf.

After finishing sorting the dress, I looked around to see my sister and her model friend and left, probably for a shoot. Leaving the dresses, inside what to do next, I left the room, not rushing out since my sister had said the CEO wouldn’t be coming.

I passed by a coffee maker, and decided to get one. The hot cup in my hand calmed me a little, and I started to make my way back to the office where I was asked to wait.

I opened the door and immediately bumped into a huge figure in front of me, the coffee slipping out of my hands and splashing against black ironed suit as I lost my balance, smacking my butt on the floor.

A strong, dangerous and powerful aura overwhelmed me, forcing me to submit as the figure turned to me slowly. I raised my eyes to see a tall man with black hair and cold grey eyes, my heart sank as fear ran through my veins as I recognized the man I had bumped into.

The Werewolf King. The Alpha King, and above all, The CEO of William Zee Fashion Industry.

Mr Zed Williams. Oh, I’m so fucked up.

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2403

After regaining consciousness, Waylon vaguely heard voices around him and slowly opened his eyes. As his eyes gradually got used to intense light, he started seeing several blurred figures standing around him.

“Wayne.”

“Willy?”

As soon as Waylon could clearly see the people around him and realized that they were Sunny and Cameron, he slowly sat up.

Sunny supported him immediately. “You’re still recovering from your injuries, so take it easy.”

Waylon glanced around the room and knew he was in a hospital. He then covered his face with his palms, rubbed his temples, and chuckled. “How long have I been out?”

Sunny replied to him, “When Cam asked me to send someone to pick you up, you were already down and out. You have a fever caused by an infection of the wound.”

He originally thought they could hold a wedding banquet as soon as they arrived at the East Islands, but no one expected such an incident to occur. As such, he could only postpone the banquet and find them another date.

Sunny sighed and looked up at Cameron. “Cam, take good care of Willy.”

After saying that, he left the ward with his men.

The room became silent instantly.

Cameron sat down on the edge of the bed and did not speak.

Waylon stretched out his hand and stroked her cheek. “What’s wrong?”

“It’s nothing.” She turned her face away. “In the future, if you encounter such a situation again, don’t push yourself too hard.”

Waylon fiddled with the ends of her hair with his fingertips, and his eyes moved. “Then I’ll have to rely on you to protect me from now on.”

Cameron crossed her arms. “That’s because you’re weak.”

He lifted his gaze and said meaningfully, “Are you sure that I’m that weak physically?”

Cameron was startled, her cheeks warmed up instantly, and she pushed him angrily. “If you keep giving me all this nonsense, I’ll kick your *ss.”

Her movement was not huge, and she did not exert any strength. However, the moment she saw Waylon fall backward, she instinctively reached out and grabbed him, but unexpectedly, she got pulled into his arms.

Waylon’s smirk intensified.

Cameron realized that she had been played and bit his lip furiously.

Waylon hissed, his brows furrowed, and he clasped the back of her head and kissed her. The kiss only ended after a long time, when the two of them were already running out of breath.

Waylon rubbed the corner of her lips, and his fingertips felt as if they were on fire.

“Young lady-“Just when Cameron was flustered for a moment, Mahina pushed the door open and rushed in. She did not expect to run into such a situation and instantly blushed. “I… I’m sorry. Please continue.”

She then closed the door immediately.

Cameron quickly got up and walked out.

When Mahina turned her head and saw Cameron coming out, she was astonished for a bit. “Young lady, aren’t you going to continue?”

Cameron glared at her. “Haven’t you seen enough? Do you want more of that?”

Mahina sounded less serious at the moment. “You’re asking me to witness more of that? But I’m too embarrassed to stay there and watch you live.”

Cameron pushed her. “Go f*ck yourself.”

Mahina stopped joking around. “Mr. Southern has been busy all day, waiting for you to come back in order to organize the wedding banquet. It seems that the banquet will have to be postponed now.”

Cameron was stunned. “A wedding banquet?”

She nodded. “Don’t you know about that?”

How would Cameron know about her father’s plan? She was also curious about the reason her father had asked them to come back!

At this time, in the Southerns’ residence…

Sunny sighed as he looked at the decorations being torn down in the courtyard. The butler walked up to him and said with a smile. “Mr. Southern, the young lady and Mr. Goldmann are still in the East Islands. The wedding banquet can be held at any time. The two of them can’t get away without attending the banquet.”

“That’s the case so far, but I’m worried that that girl will go back on her word.”

Sunny took a deep breath.

‘After all, Cam really took her sweet time before she decided to marry Willy. If the wedding banquet isn’t held immediately, what will I do if she regrets her decision and comes back to me in the future?

‘No matter what, a wedding ceremony has to be held here in the East Islands first. It won’t be an issue if the Goldmanns want to organize another ceremony in Zlokova. I’ll take their ceremony as a double insurance.”

The butler said helplessly, “You really want your daughter to get married, huh?”

“Wayne will make a remarkable son-in-law. It’s only natural for me to want to speed things up.”

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2404

Sunny had not taken his eye off the news all this while.

‘He just got involved in a scandal with Minzy not long ago, didn’t he? That news almost scared me to death back then. I was that close to thinking that I was about to lose such an excellent son-in-law.’

“Dad!” Cameron stepped into the courtyard, and as expected, she saw the decorations that had just been taken down from the walls of the courtyard. “Did you prepare a secret wedding banquet for Wayne and me? Why didn’t you ask me for my opinion first?”

Sunny frowned. “Why aren’t you accompanying Willy in the hospital?”

Cameron crossed her arms and said, “He’s no longer a kid. Why would he need me to be by his side to watch over him?”

“You…” Sunny felt exasperated and helpless at the same time. “I really don’t know what else I can say about you, I guess I’ll give it to you straight once and for all today.

“Yes, you might think you’re in the position to play hard to get, but you’d better not come back here in tears when your husband leaves you for another woman.”

Probably because of Waylon’s scandal with Minzy, Sunny had begun to worry about the relationship between his daughter and Waylon.

Cameron narrowed her eyes. “What do you think about all day long when I’m not around?”

Sunny stacked his hands behind his back and snorted softly. “Willy treats you well. At least his heart is now with you. However, a relationship requires both parties to constantly move closer to each other. You can’t just stay put and ask Willy to come to you all the time, as he might one day get tired of you if you never take the initiative and put in any effort.”

Cameron was dumbfounded and did not utter a single word for a long time.

‘I came back to question him about not asking me for my opinion on the wedding banquet, yet why am I the one who gets taught a lesson in the end?

‘Both parties have to constantly move closer to each other, huh?

‘If my memory serves me well, Wayne has always been the one who takes the initiative regarding our relationship. As for me…’

In the evening…

Cameron came into the ward with dinner. The nurse had just come over to change Waylon’s bandages.

Seeing that Waylon was undoing his shirt unhurriedly, Cameron immediately frowned. “You only hurt your arm, so why do you need to take off your shirt?”

The nurse chuckled instantly. “It seems that your girlfriend is jealous of me?”

Waylon responded with a hum, and the affection and hilarity that were surging in his eyes could no longer be concealed. “Yeah, that’s bad news. It takes me ages to coax her whenever she gets jealous.”

Cameron was shocked by his statement.

“That means she cares about you. What type of woman would want her boyfriend to be touched by other women?” The nurse continued while preparing the bandages and ointment. “Just rolling up your sleeve will do.”

After the nurse changed the bandages and left, Cameron placed the dinner on the table and did not speak

for a long time.

Waylon lifted his gaze. He had always enjoyed seeing Cameron get all nervous and jealous of other women. However, she might lose her cool someday if he continuously challenged her limits.

“What’s for dinner?”

Cameron did not want to talk to him.

He chuckled, stretched out his hand, pulled her closer to him, and glanced up at her. “Are you really going to ignore me?”

She uttered each and every word harshly, with a short pause in between each word. “You’d, better, apologize.”

He did not even ask for the reason and apologized without any hesitation. “Okay, I’ll apologize. I’m sorry.”

Cameron lowered her gaze. “Were you… Were you testing me again?”

He froze for a split second and stared at her. “Huh?”

She turned her face away. “You only want to see me get all worked up, don’t you? So let me make it clear to you now. I’m indeed very pissed, I don’t like other women touching you, and I don’t like you getting too close to other women.”

‘If a person will get tired after taking all the initiative for a long time, then Wayne will one day get there if I remain indifferent.

‘He’s been trying his best to probe and test me precisely only because he wants me to admit my thoughts.

‘Before this, I’ve never told him face to face that I would be jealous.’

Just when she was a little distracted, Waylon pulled her into his arms, wrapped his arms around her, and stroked her cheek with his palm. “Then let me make things clear to you too. Listen carefully. I belong to you, just like how you belong to me. And since you don’t like me getting too close with other women, please keep an eye on me and don’t let those women approach me.”

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2405

Cameron frowned. “Don’t you know how to drive those women away by yourself?”

Waylon smirked. “This is different. I like to stay under your control.”

“Won’t you feel bothered?”

“Why would something like this be bothersome to someone who regards these as the fun that spices up a relationship?” Waylon kissed the corner of her eyes. “Even if you were to cause me trouble everywhere you go, I’d be more than happy to accept them as part of my life.”

She pinched his cheek. “What do you mean by causing trouble everywhere? I- Hmm!”

Waylon sealed her lips, and Cameron immediately propped her hands against his chest. “Wayne Goldmann, you haven’t had dinner yet…”

“I’ll have my dessert first.”

“Since when is there dessert?”

Waylon turned over and trapped her in his arms. “Aren’t you my dessert?”

He blatantly caressed her from head to toe, and she gritted her teeth and blushed. “Wayne Goldmann, get off me!”

Not long after Waylon was discharged from the hospital, Sunny started hinting them to hold a wedding banquet in the East Islands. He could not allow them to drag this out any longer.

That day, the two of them were sitting in the living room, listening to Sunny’s undisguised hints, and that made Cameron laugh. “You just can’t wait to drive me out of the Southerns, can you?”

Sunny’s expression stiffened. “You brat, what do you think you’re saying? What do you mean by driving you out? How are the Southerns no longer your family after you get married?”

She snorted and turned her face away.

Waylon smiled and said calmly, “Actually, as long as Cam is willing to marry me, I’m okay with anything. Even if she wants to come back and live here in the future, I can live here with her too.”

Cameron pursed her lips and stared at him without uttering a single word.

Sunny picked his teacup up, flicked the lid of the cup, and seemed to be very satisfied with Waylon’s response. “Glad to know where you stand in this matter.”

He then drank his tea and added, “Then let’s not delay it anymore. We’ll hold the wedding banquet here

next week.”

Cameron was stunned for a split second. “What? That fast?”

‘Next week? I don’t even get a buffer period?’

Sunny replied earnestly, “There’s a holiday next week, and that itself eases a lot of arrangements. Otherwise, we’ll have to wait until next month. Since it’s just a matter of time, it’s better to hold it sooner.”

Sunny had already made up his mind, so he got up, walked to the butler, and instructed him on the to-do list of next week’s wedding banquet.

At this time, at Bassburgh…

Daisie and Hannah attended a winter fashion show. When the reporter asked her about Waylon and Cameron’s relationship, she responded with a grin, “Is there even a need for you to ask the question? Who else in the world is capable of becoming the eldest young lady of the Goldmanns?”

As soon as she said that, all the media outlets present at the scene were astounded.

It was clear to everyone that the Goldmanns really thought highly of Cameron.

Of course, several reporters still would not stop without getting a trenchant reply out of Daisie. They compared Freyja and Cameron blatantly during the interview and asked Daisie whether she was more content with Cameron or Freyja.

Daisie glared at the reporter, who just would not settle for a peaceful answer. “They’re my sisters-in-law. Is there any difference?”

The reporter still would not give up. “Let’s just say you can only choose one.”

Daisie gradually lost patience. “Do I look like someone who’s in the position of marrying one of them and is forced to pick only one of them?”

Fortunately, Hannah was there to extinguish Daisie’s wrath. Otherwise, if the conversation were to go on, the news that would make the headline tomorrow would be Daisie getting into an argument with the reporter.

Soon, she glanced through the noisy crowd.

A car was parked behind the crowd, and Zephir got out of the car with a woman.

Daisie was slightly startled by what she saw-that woman was none other than Zoey Markle.

Zoey wrapped her arms around Zephir’s as they gracefully stepped onto the red carpet, seemingly

unaffected by the countless haters that she brought onto herself when she painted a target on Daisie’s back when they attended the variety show together.

Most of the reporters were not familiar with Zephir, but some of them knew his identity. However,

compared to his identity, everyone was more curious about his relationship with Zoey.

Hannah kept smiling but whispered to Daisie while standing right next to her, “That witch’s benefactors change as quickly as the blink of an eye. But that man looks rather familiar…

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2406

Daisie didn’t speak.

Zephir saw Daisie at the reception table.

Daisie smiled, nodded at him politely, and looked away after that.

She had never seen Zephir after their filming wrapped up.

She was quite surprised to see him attend the fashion show. After the show, Daisie ended up sitting next to Zoey, possibly intentionally arranged by the organizers. Hannah and Zephir were next to them too.

But the attention of the media was all on the two of them.

Zoey never thought that the organizers would do that. When they were greeting the reporters, she said in a volume only Daisie could hear. “This is just bad luck. I hope your stupid fans don’t say I’m trying to become relevant again by standing next to you.”

Daisie smiled. “From what I know, your fans are mostly the stupid ones.”

Zoey’s smile faded. Because of what had happened during their variety show, her fans had created a lot of funny situations in their attempt to make her famous again. The majority of netizens mocked them as ‘ brain-dead fans’.

Zoey was about to retort, but Daisie suddenly stood up and walked away.

Zephir watched her walk away and frowned.

Daisie rushed into the washroom and threw up all her dinner from last night.

After she was done, she turned on the tap to wash the vomit away.

She threw water on her face and looked at herself in the mirror. Something came to her mind, and she rested her hand on her belly.

‘Am I pregnant?’

She thought about it and realized her period had been half a month late.

Daisie quickly left the washroom and was surprised to see Zephir smoking in the corridor. She had never seen him smoke and didn’t know that he did.

Daisie asked, “Why are you out here?”

Zephir flicked the ash off and raised his brows. “Not feeling well?”

“I’m fine. I’m going back in.”

When Daisie walked past him, he suddenly grabbed her wrist. He looked very calm. “You haven’t seen Leah Younge in a long time, have you?”

Daisie was surprised. “She’s back?”

Zoey, who was standing at a distance, saw them and looked unhappy. Only God knew how much effort she had put into getting her first role as a female lead from Zephir.

But Bassburgh had a small circle.

Did Zephir and Daisie have that kind of relationship?

‘Hah! Tiffany Cullen had said that Daisie was a ‘player, and it might actually be true. She’s still in a

relationship with another man after getting married.’

The next day, at the East Islands…

After Cameron washed up and had breakfast, she went and watered the flowers in the garden. She was a little not used to such a calm and restful life, maybe because she had been living in the busy city for a while now.

Waylon walked into the garden wearing his silk pants and holding a cup of coffee. He saw that she was watering while zoning out and chuckled.

“Are you trying to drown the flowers?”

She snapped back and saw that the flowerbed was flooded. She slowly stopped. “What’s the issue? Flowers will grow back.”

He smiled and didn’t speak.

Cameron remembered something and suddenly turned to look at him. “You didn’t go to Yuzu Villa with my dad to talk about the wedding banquet?”

“He can handle that.” He then looked at Cameron and smiled. “Can’t wait to be my bride?”

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2407

Cameron turned her face away. “Can you shut up? I’m not in a hurry.”

Waylon slowly sipped his coffee and smiled.

Mahina walked in and was followed by a group of people who were carrying a lot of things.

Cameron stopped her. “What are you doing?”

Mahina smiled and said, “We’re getting ready for your wedding. Mr. Southern said we’re going to get the best wedding planner on the island to plan your wedding.”

Cameron was shocked. “Do we need to go through so much hassle?”

It was just a wedding.

The crew member behind them smiled. “It’s not a hassle. It’s an event of a lifetime. Everyone wants to be the prettiest bride. We are responsible for making you happy.”

After that, her expression returned to a serious one.

Cameron smiled. “Where did the old man get a wedding planner?”

Mahina grabbed her arm. “Let’s go. I’ll show you.”

“What’s to see- What?”

Before she could finish, Mahina dragged her into the house. “Take a look. You might like it.”

Waylon smiled and shook his head.

Everything that was needed for the wedding filled up the room-jewelry, clothing, shoes, and more.

Two female crew members walked in. “Ms. Southern, we’re here to get your measurements.”

Cameron was surprised. “Measurements?”

“Yes, we make a wedding dress based on your measurements and will get it done in three days.”

Mahina brought the rest of the crew out, and Cameron let them measure her.

Meanwhile, in Bassburgh…

Daisie wore a cap and a face mask to cover her face.

The server guided her to a room and opened the door. “This way, ma’am.”

Leah looked up upon hearing that. After she saw the server walk out, she immediately stood up and smiled. “Daisie.”

Daisie removed her mask and pulled out a chair. “Where did you get back?”

“Two days ago. I just got back.” Leah took a seat and poured out some tea. “My company gave me a long time off. I’m going to relax now that I’m back.”

Daisie smiled too. “Interpreting is a tough job, huh?”

“Of course. I have to run around with my bosses and meet the VIPs. When I close my eyes, all I can see is the schedule for the next day. My mind is just fed with work.” Leah picked up her cup and sighed. “I wouldn’t have taken a foreign language if I knew this would be the outcome.”

She remembered something and looked up. “By the way, Zephir is a director. Is he part of the entertainment industry now?”

Daisie was surprised and looked around. “Yes.”

Leah raised her brows and leaned in closer. “Did he become a director because of you?”

Daisie looked down. “It’s his passion.”

Even if it were for her, they wouldn’t have worked out.

Was she supposed to change because Zephir got into the film industry because of her?

Leah could see something was off, so she asked, “Daisie, didn’t you have a huge crush on Zephir? Did something happen between you two?”

She had been overseas and didn’t have time to pay attention to entertainment news because she was busy. She didn’t know that Daisie was married. In her mind, Daisie and Zephir were really close. She even imagined that she would be attending their wedding when she returned.

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2408

Leah could see that Zephir had feelings for Daisie since they were that age.

When he gave up on studying finances and switched to film, that showed that he was going into the entertainment industry because of Daisie.

Daisie raised her brows. “Leah, I’m married.”

“Married? With who?” Leah was shocked.

Daisie told her about Nollace. She looked surprised because she didn’t expect a change in the plot.

“So, you didn’t have feelings for Zephir?”

Daisie paused. “I never said I had feelings for him.”

Leah didn’t know how to react. “I saw that you were close when we were in school. You’re really saying that you didn’t have feelings for him?”

Daisie placed her hand on her forehead, feeling a little awkward. “I always saw him as an older brother. I didn’t like him that way.”

Maybe it was because they were too young to tell those feelings apart, but in her heart, Zephir was always like a brother to her. She didn’t think that Leah would have taken it the wrong way.

Leah sighed. “Too bad you aren’t interested. He really fell for you.”

After lunch, Leah walked Daisie to her car. As she watched Daisie drive away, she picked up her phone and gave Zephir a call.

Zephir was at the billiard hall.

The private billiard hall was on the 36th floor of the hotel. It was different from the smoke-filled ones. Not only was smoking not allowed here, but it also had a very comfortable environment and the best service. It even had a great view.

There was a fine-dining restaurant, a gym, a pool, and more on the floor above.

The rooms were on the floors under this one.

Leah walked into the hall and turned to see Zephir teaching a woman how to play. They looked more like flirting than playing.

Even Leah was surprised. She had never seen Zephir like that before.

Zephir saw her but didn’t let go of the woman’s hand. He smiled. “Met Daisie?”

The woman looked up at Leah too.

Leah placed her bag on the couch and walked to the table. “Yes, we just had lunch.” After that, she sized up the woman. “Seems like you’re having fun. It’s rare.”

‘It was rare to see him like that. Did he change because Daisie is married?”

The woman asked him in a flirty voice, “Zeph, is this your friend?”

Zephir nodded, stood up straight, and handed Leah the pool cue the woman was holding. “Play with me.”

The woman was unhappy and shook his arm. “You said you were going to spend time with me.”

But when she saw Zephir’s eyes growing dark, she immediately stopped.

She could read expressions. If she wanted to see him again, she needed to stop, or he would get tired of her.

After the woman left, Leah chuckled. “This isn’t like you.”

He positioned the balls and casually said, “It doesn’t matter. People change.”

“Are you hinting at something?”

He looked up at her and didn’t reply.

Leah polished the tip of the pool cue and continued. “You became a director because of her, and now that she’s married to someone else, you’re unhappy about it, right?”

Seeing how he was silent, Leah hit the cue ball, sending some of them into the nets. “They love each other, but it’s just a one-way street for you. You’re letting yourself go just because you can’t have her. That’s not the Zeph I know.”

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2409

After a long pause, Zephir chuckled. “I don’t even know myself.”

At Taylorton…

Daisie told Nollace about her lunch with Leah.

Nollace peeled some oranges for her and fed her but couldn’t help but chuckle. “What did you eat?”

Daisie sat on his thighs and ate the orange. “Everything. But I noticed that I don’t really have an appetite recently, which is fine, but I gained weight.”

She suspected that she was pregnant, but wouldn’t she want to eat more if she was?

If she didn’t have an appetite, it was mostly because her sleep cycle wasn’t consistent. Her period was probably late because her hormones were imbalanced.

Nollace paused, then looked at her.

Daisie didn’t notice the change in his eyes and continued talking. “Actresses always worry about gaining weight. It’s your fault for always making great food for me and making me fat.”

She started ‘complaining’ again.

Nollace placed the oranges on a plate and said, “You would grow fat even if I didn’t feed you.”

She choked. “Why?”

He pinched her cheek and smiled. “You’ll need to gain weight eventually.”

Daisie didn’t have time to think about what he said because she got a call from the company. She slowly got up. “Alright, I’ head over now.”

Nollace helped her because he was worried that she might trip. “Be careful.”

Daisie sat back down, put her arms around his neck, and smiled. “Nolly, I’ll go back to Yaramoor with you. when my vacation days are confirmed.”

He paused and smiled while patting her head. “Sure.”

Daisie looked up. “Give me a kiss.”

He planted a kiss on her lips while his eyes filled with love.

After watching her leave, he picked up his phone and called Edison. “Help me to get an appointment at the Obstetrics and Children’s Department tomorrow.”

Edison was stunned. ‘Obstetrics and Children’s Department? Is Ms. Vanderbilt pregnant!?”

He had to inform Rick and Diana about the good news!

Meanwhile…

Daisie was getting her makeup done for a commercial shoot. The stylist gave her a mermaid skirt, and it hugged her figure tightly.

Daisie was changing into it, but when she pulled the zipper around her waist, it felt like it was tight.

She held her breath and frowned, then walked out. “Isn’t this my size? I think it’s smaller.”

The assistant checked the information. “No, this is made based on your measurements.”

“Really?” Daisie looked at her belly. She hadn’t been eating a lot recently and mostly drank water. Had she become someone who would gain weight just by drinking water?

The assistant noticed something and walked over. “Daisie, did you gain a little bit of weight?”

Daisie placed her hand on her forehead because someone else could tell. “Maybe. Could you help me alter the waistline? It’s pretty uncomfortable.”

The assistant was hesitant. “But the sponsors lent it to us.”

“It’s alright. I’ll buy it.”

If she paid for it, the dress would be hers, and she would be able to alter it.

The assistant took a deep breath because this daughter of the Goldmann family could just buy a skirt worth a few thousand dollars.

She was just going to wear it once. That was such a luxury!

The next day, after the visual effects were done for the ad, everyone’s attention was on Daisie’s waist.

Why do I feel that her waist has turned thicker?

#No way. Female celebrities should have a bit of meat on their bones. If they’re just skin and bones, they look unhealthy!#

The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 2410

ls it possible she is pregnant?

Noilace was making breakfast when Daisie walked down in her pajamas. She quietly hugged him from behind while running her hands over his chest.

He held her hand and chuckled. "Why are you teasing me so early in the morning?"

She rested her chin on his shoulder and lazily smiled. "You seem to be very at peace recently. Not seduced by my beauty?"

Noilace turned the gas off, turned around, and hugged her. "Did you forget that you wanted to sleep in separate rooms before this?"

She looked ashamed and lowered her head.

He had always been very good with self-control. His self-control was flexible. It was like a string that had been pulled tightly, but once it was released, chaos would ensue.

Noilace picked her up, let her sit on the table, and leaned in. "Are you blaming me?"

Daisie cupped his face with both her hands. "I just don’t have as good stamina as you do. I'm going to start training tomorrow."

He squinted. 'Training for what?"

'To lose weight." Daisie pinched the flesh around her waist. "All my dresses are tighter now. If this goes on, my waist will turn into a barrel."

Nollace chuckled and asked her in a serious tone, "Is it possible that there's a baby here?"

He placed his palm on her belly.

Daisie was shocked. "I... don’t think so."

Daisie said that but was the first to think about that, but she didn't have any other signs of pregnancy. She didn't have morning sickness, other than that one time during the fashion show.

She lost her appetite after that. She didn't throw up but couldn't eat either. All she could have was soup.

Her period was late before, and when everyone said it was just a change in her appetite, she never thought it was caused by pregnancy.

But what Nollace said stunned her.

He touched her face and quietly asked, "Do you not want a baby, Daisie?"

She batted her lashes. "No... I'm just not ready yet."

What if she really was pregnant?"

Nollace kissed her forehead. "I'll go for a check-up with you after breakfast. If you really are pregnant, I'll leave work and spend time with you."

Nollace brought Daisie to the Obstetrics Department for a scan. She sat in the office waiting for the report. When the doctor walked in with the report, she told Daisie she was already five weeks pregnant.

Daisie was stunned because she really was pregnant!

The doctor told Nollace about things that they needed to pay attention to, and Nollace nodded. "Alright, I got it."

After that, he walked over to the spaced-out Daisie and knelt in front of her on one knee. "Daisie?"

Daisie snapped back, and her eyes were suddenly red. "I'm afraid that I might not be a good mother..."

She really was pregnant without getting ready for it.

Nollace wiped her tears away. "I'm here."

The doctor smiled. "It's normal for first-time mothers to be nervous.

There's a first for everything. That is how all parents do it."

Nollace gave Daisie a hug and left with her.

People would leave smiling after finding out that they were pregnant, but Daisie left with tears. The passersby assumed she couldn't conceive and was sad about it.
