Carl frowned, wearing a bitter look on his face.

Sherry frowned. She was left with no options except for exaggerating the lie. She could not ruin Lisa and Carl's plan to take over the company, and she simply could not let Ron and the others succeed

Carl's eyes widened in shock as he turned to Sherry.
Sherry was petrified. She suddenly recalled John’s odd behavior of asking her to go out with Caprice today, but the man had seemed fine this morning.

However, the breeze from the woods brought no one to the entrance except for silence and refreshment.

Aiden frowned. He spoke into the phone, which was still connected, “Where are you? Why aren’t you coming out?” Then, a series of footsteps approached.
Aiden looked at the entrance. The one who came in was the person in charge of the engagement ceremony that doubled as Lisa’s assistant.
The assistant ran to Lisa, panting, and said, “Lisa, M-Master Stockton is here. He said he’s here to congratulate Young Master Carl and Ms. Fowler
Lisa was shocked. “Master Stockton? Which Master Stockton?” Ron and the others looked at the assistant curiously Sherry was the only one frowning. Her fists were tightly clenched as she laid them idly by her sides.

Ron and the others were similarly shocked.

Both Aiden and Caden were stunned as they realized the similarities.

Soon, a large group of people gathered at the entrance. Only Sherry and Carl were left on the stage.

The man before their eyes was the man in the picture with Sherry, shown on the big screen earlier. The adorable and chubby girl in his hand was the girl that Sherry carried in the picture.

Lisa was left speechless, her lips twitching helplessly. She turned and glared at the two brothers Aiden said, “Master Stockton, it's nothing. We really didn’t expect you to be Sherry’s ex-husband.” John maintained his smile. “You knew who | am. You just didn’t know my real identity
Both the brothers were silenced. They no longer dared to look John in the eye, especially after they claimed that they would help him get into the Sagers’ company and win Sherry’s heart back.
Ron was aware of the situation getting out of hand. He forced a smile on his face and said, ” Master Stockton, I’m their father, Ron Wright, the Deputy CEO of the company. My sons are a little straightforward. If they’ve said anything that has offended you, | apologize on their behalf.”
