Lily stood rooted and quietly looked at the woman. They locked eyes for a moment and fell into a momentary silence.

Fred spoke up, “Why haven’t you respectfully greeted her?”

Lily raised her eyebrow and coldly replied, “Respect? Why should I?”

“You must show respect when you meet Her Majesty!” Fred exclaimed, surprisingly admitting it.

Lily smiled. "So, you're admitting that she’s Her Majesty?"

"Now that you know, why don't you kneel?" Fred's tone was arrogant as he pointed his cane toward the ground.

The Queen raised her hand to signal him to calm down. She had a benevolent and amiable expression, but Lily knew she concealed wicked intentions.

"Setting aside whether the person before me is the real Queen, she’s only the Queen of your country. I’m not a subject of your country, so why should I pay my respects?" Lily retorted with a disdainful snort.

"You—" Fred began to speak.

"Silence!" The Queen turned her face away, seemingly angry.

Seeing the Queen's anger, Fred stopped and stood to the side, his expression dark as he glared daggers at Lily.

"Ms. Christian," the Queen said, appearing like any ordinary old person without a hint of regality.

She was old, with wrinkled skin and a fragile appearance. However, she had a good demeanor, an aristocratic air none could ignore.

The queen caught on and nodded. “Yes, that’s the reason.”

Insulted, Fred scolded angrily, “What the hell are you talking about?! I’m a man! How could Her Majesty use my body?”

The wheelchair did not stop, but Lily saw the queen lift her hand and place it on the armrest. Then the person pushing the wheelchair came to a halt.

Lily ignored Fred’s glare and blandly said, “Have you wondered what would happen to you if the plan fails or doesn’t go as you wish?”

“The plan won’t fail!” Fred interrupted.

Lily ignored him and continued, “There are two sides to every coin. What will happen to you and your people if the plan fails? How would they perceive their queen and the royal family if they discovered this?”

“No, but we can only get your son back by going there.” Alexander tossed him a file.

It contained printouts of emails from Lily’s inbox that Olivia had shared with him. From the sender’s signatures and the content of the messages, one could tell who the person was.

Mike was puzzled but took the file. His frown deepened as he carefully read the emails, and his eyes widened in astonishment. “This is…”

The first man had a cold and intense expression. After throwing Alexander and Mike a deep look, he stepped aside. The second man then slowly entered, supporting himself with a cane.

He did not look elderly, so his need for a cane indicated leg or foot issues. He looked much friendlier and had a smile compared to the first person. “Sorry, I got caught up with something.”

He was not speaking Yudonian but a strange-sounding language.

Puzzled, Mike did not understand what he was saying and looked toward Alexander.

However, Alexander simply sat there with a polite smile and said nothing.

Probably seeing their reaction, the man caught himself and apologized in Yudonian, “Sorry, I forgot you guys don’t understand that language. So what can I do for you?”

Mike wanted to say, “Stop pretending, you motherf*cker! Just give my son back to me.”

However, knowing where he was, he kept it to himself.

‘Will he even admit it when I have no proof? Even if we are the police, we must follow proper procedures or risk ruining the relationship between our country and theirs.

Mike took a deep breath and suppressed his anger.

Alexander said casually, “Well, we Hylanders don’t like to beat around the bush. You must be Mr. Frederick Johannes, right?”

Fred raised his brow but was not too surprised. He nodded and took the seat beside Alexander. “That’s right, but people just call me Fred.”

“Then you must be familiar with these emails.” Alexander stood up and picked up the printouts from the coffee table to hand them over.

Fred glanced at him but did not take the files. Instead, the man beside him grabbed the papers and sized Alexander up. The man only gave the printouts to Fred after ensuring they were safe.

Fred held the papers up and skimmed through them before letting out a half-smile. “I wonder where you obtained these emails. You’re right. I was the one who sent the invitations.”

The man leaped out of the way, and the two men engaged in a flurry of punches and kicks. Meanwhile, Mike massaged his neck and backed off several steps, gulping as he gawked at the fight.

As a businessman, he would never physically fight with anyone over a disagreement. Even if he wanted to attack anyone, he would not need to do it himself because he had bodyguards. Therefore, Mike was stunned to see people fighting in the embassy.

Mike was stumped but knew Alexander was right, despite his anger.

The person thought Austin was right.

‘Since he’s treating the person, he’ll know better than me. Besides, who am I to stop him?’

The person quickly chased after and overtook him, pointing toward a direction. “This way, please!”

Austin followed him and arrived at a door. He looked through the window and saw someone lying in bed, but only a few monitoring devices and tubes were connected to the patient.

However, the ward was relatively isolated from the outside world.

“Open the door,” Austin said.

The other person quickly opened the door. Then Austin marched in and neared the bed without hesitation. “Don’t worry. I’m your new doctor…”
