Lily sighed and said, "I know what I'm doing. Besides, do you think I'll be safe if I don't go back? Will Queen Yasmin spare me? I'll never be safe unless she gives up on the experiment."

"Is he okay?" Alexander asked, putting his arm around Lily's shoulder.
Lily looked over her shoulder at her husband, asking back, "He's cured?"
"Dr. Dominic cured me. Oh, and Dr. Austin, too," Edward said, "They are highly skilled in medicine, so there's nothing wrong with me now."
Alexander continued, "I didn't tell you because I knew you'd feel more assured after examining Edward yourself. Besides, I bet you'd want to meet Olivia after so long."
If he told Lily that Edward was fully cured, she would never want Olivia to come.

Although the twins were sound asleep, she could tell from their even breathing and rosy cheeks that they were in good shape. She lovingly caressed the twins' cheeks in turns.
"They have a good appetite and never throw tantrums," Austin praised, "They're such good babies."
"Hey, I disagree. The younger one is a crybaby!" Dominic shook his head. "I almost went deaf from all the crying, you know."
"She is, isn't she?" Lily nodded, chuckling. She knew everyone doted on her daughter.
Dominic hardly wanted to let go of the baby despite his complaint. Austin held the older twin and kept craning his neck to look at the younger one. He tried defending the child, "The fact that she cries so loud shows that she's healthy, right?"

Lily laughed as she watched the two banter.
Galen wrapped his arms around her neck and whispered, "We look like Mom."
His voice was soft, but Lily and Alexander heard it.

Although Dominic was quiet, everyone knew from his eyes that he agreed with her. Of course, he considered failing when he proposed the idea. Still, he did not think it through because they were running out of time.

Anastasia held Lily's arm and said enthusiastically, "Yeah, you're something else, Lily. Dad only meant to compliment you."
She was thrilled that Lily was safe and sound, especially after not seeing her for a long time.
"I know," Lily smiled, patting her hand. "You seem to be in good shape and have lost a lot of weight."
