The sound of bones breaking came from Samuel’s chest. He must’ve broken at least three ribs. Moreover, he had a defensive treasure with him at the time, and in the instance of the attack, a green light shone and loomed over his body, canceling out some of Pigsy’s attack.

If it weren’t for that, the injury wouldn’t have just been three broken ribs.

Pigsy, who’d succeeded at the first attack, clapped his hands. “Hmph, where did this feeble rat come from? His face turned green, and now he’s shining in green light! Are you also green with envy because… Hehe.”

“But how dare you attack my sworn brother? Don’t you know your own strength?”

Pigsy was just simply teasing him, but it sounded truly unpleasant in Samuel’s ears.

Kerry never expected such a thing to happen. An animal that looked like your regular domestic pig had defeated Samuel in a mere second. Not only that, it was currently charging towards Freesia too.

There was a loud sound.

Pigsy went in headfirst on at the barrier and was repelled. He saw stars appear before his eyes as bright red blood flowed from his nose. He then shuddered from the pain, the blood continued dripping as he shouted, “Alex, destroy this woman and that bastard with the Heaven Flipping Seal!”

Now, Freesia felt a little intimidated. “Aunt, that piggy is so fierce! Is it really edible?”

‘This little foodie had placed food above everything else!’

Kerry was starting to regret her decisions now. She knew that she shouldn’t have brought the siblings considering the havoc they had wreaked. She quickly said, “Please don’t misunderstand. We mean no harm.”

Maya was a beautiful girl, but she stood still there with an ice-cold expression. “Mean no harm? And the first thing you do right after meeting us is to kill my brother? If that’s what you mean by harmless, I can’t imagine what you’d do when you intend to harm.”

Kerry held onto the umbrella with one hand and the other holding on to Freesia. She then announced her intention. “We’re here to talk.”

Meanwhile, Samuel shouted with his hand on his chest.

“Aunt! My sister’s been tormented. What else is there to talk about? Summon the Silvermoon Berserker Troop now! I’m going to burn this place to the ground and avenge my sister!”

A white ray flickered. Pigsy had rushed out once more and kicked Samuel hard with his trotters, breaking more of his bones.

He subsequently stepped on Samuel’s forehead with his front trotter. “Are you still unclear of the position you’re in, dumba*ss?” he growled. “As a human, it’s certainly rare to be dumb to such an extent! Your mere existence brings shame to your parents. Why don’t I end that for you?”

“No!” Freesia screamed. “Please, Mr. Piggy. My brother isn’t dumb! He’s just obsessed with our elder sister. Seeing our dear sister tormented and having her virginity lost, that’s why he’s acting out of anger. I beg you, don’t kill him, please! After all… He’s still Alex’s brother-in-law.”

Samuel was furious. “You damn brat! Don’t blabber nonsense! How am I his brother-in-law?”

Alex sneered. “And? So you’re saying that my people deserved to get beaten up, to the point of nearly losing their lives?”

Kerry continued, “Didn’t you destroy Homan Tower? You should’ve let out all of your anger by now. What’s your condition? What do you need to let Shirley go? Oh, and how is she now?”

Alex shook his head. “I’m not letting her go.”

Kerry frowned. “I come respectfully, so I hope you’ll show some sincerity as well. We Hancocks are an ancient noble family. You should know that we have great power.”

“Besides, we have the Divine Envoy of Mount Olympus to back us up. If you could just take a step back, let’s shake hands and find peace. It’ll be disadvantageous for both parties if we fight. So, raise your conditions, and I’ll try to fulfill them.”

Alex looked at her. “Alright then. I want… You!”

“What?!” Kerry’s face turned blue at that.

“You can never be too sure.” Alex threw Shirley on the ground and lunged forward like a bolt of lightning.

Other than turning blue from anger, Kerry’s expression remained calm towards Alex’s sudden attack. She was full of confidence. The oil-paper umbrella she held fonned a solid defensive barrier.

A Divine Envoy of Mount Olympus had even tried but couldn’t break through her defense.

Furthermore, it’d been rumored that that particular Divine Envoy had surpassed the Tribulation Crossing. He was a true fairy.

As Alex got near, Kerry said calmly, “Don’t waste your energy. Your attack won’t hurt me.”

Alex ignored her and sent a punch on the barrier. The barrier shook violently, and a blue light screen expanded to the skies. Still, the barrier didn’t break. It was indeed very robust.

Kerry shook her head. “Do you believe me now? Can we just talk?”

Alex tilted his head. “I haven’t even started!”

“It’s pointless unless you’re a true fairy because this barrier of mine contains law power.”

“And what if I succeed? Want to make a bet? If I were to penetrate…”

Kerry didn’t know what to respond to that. She felt Alex was assaulting her with his words. ‘What does he mean by that?’

On the other hand, Alex truly had no other intentions.

Unfortunately, Pigsy had to butt in and say, “Alex, if you were to penetrate her, that kiddo wouldn’t know if he should call you brother-in-law or uncle-in-law. Aren’t you just making things hard for him? In my opinion, you should take that kid in as well. Then they’ll all call you husband!”

Kerry grasped onto the umbrella. She felt uneasy and alarmed this time. However, her subconscious refused to believe her instincts.

The defensive barrier of the Whispers of Water broke into pieces upon this strong punch. The blue screen broke down into small pieces of energy. Surprisingly, the oil paper umbrella in Kerry’s hand let out a sorrowful cry and tried escaping her grasp, flying towards the air.

“You’re running? Too late, though!” Alex moved swiftly and came straight to the top of the umbrella as he punched downward.

As the oil paper umbrella was attacked. It let out another painful scream and dropped to the ground. Alex landed and picked it up. His eyes lit up as he nodded in approval. “This is a pretty good umbrella. Too bad its potential was wasted in your hands. You can’t bring out the best of it with your abilities.”

With that, be tossed the oil-paper umbrella to Maya.

Maya had water-attributed spiritual roots. She also practiced martial art techniques with water attributes like the Silver Frost, so she was highly compatible with the oil-paper umbrella.

Even if Maya weren’t quite that strong now, this umbrella would be the perfect weapon for her after she improved.
