Her precious umbrella was given away to someone else just like that.
“You… Give that back!” She growled resentfully, even though she knew that it was impossible to retrieve it now.
“Even you are in my possession now, so this umbrella belongs to me as well. Don’t even think about taking it back.” Alex said with a smile.
He stroked his chin as he thought more about it. ‘An ancient family sure has valuable stuff!’
In a span of less than half a day, the treasures he snatched from the Hancock family had increased his powers considerably. The Tom Kasaya, Sakyamuni’s Wooden Fish, and now this Whispers of Water Umbrella were all rare possessions.
He had spent half a year in the great world, facing numerous dangers, yet he could only attain a few decent treasures, each of which he risked his life for. It was way easier robbing the rich.
‘Even though it’s kinda immoral, in order to face the disaster in three years, this is inevitable!’
The way Alex stroked his chin seemed scary in Kerry’s eyes. She thought Alex was thinking about something sexual, like penetrating her. She wanted to run away immediately.

When Shirley woke up, she felt her head ache. It was the after-effects of getting hit unconscious. She rubbed her temples but immediately became stunned.
She noticed that her family, Kerry, Samuel, and Freesia were all captured in a room. They were all tied up tightly and thrown on a bed.
The two meter wide bed seemed quite crowded.
“What happened?”
“Aunt? Samuel? Freesia?”

After quite some time, Kerry and Samuel woke up as well. The family whimpered and sobbed upon reunion. Samuel even shed some tears. His heart ached at his sister’s encounter. Surely, she had him obsessed.
Just then, Freesia said, “Look, guys, there’s a phone. Let’s use it to call grandpa!”
Samuel said, “We’re all tied up, and we can’t even move. How do we dial the phone? With our tongues?”
Kerry, on the other hand, had suspicions. “This phone Why is it left here?”

The main Miller family members were having a discussion in the main hall. In the middle of the hall was a large screen that played Michelle’s live stream. However, no sound came from it as Michelle had muted the stream.
As for the reason why the Hancock family didn’t turn off the live stream… They simply couldn’t.

“Someone call that psycho from the Hendersons. We need him to come along so that we don’t lose!” a lady of the Miller’s said with her eyes lit.

When Old Lady Miller called and explained her intentions, Channing agreed with her.

Channing had always been a cautious person after all.
Old Lady Miller, who was really called Heidi Miller, sighed. “Channing, we’re in a similar situation. To be honest, if we don’t strive harder now, the thousands of years of hard work of both our families would be wasted.”

Then, Azure of Thousand Miles Conglomerate, his ex-colleagues from Divine Constabulary, his grandfather, Geronimo, and cousin Soraya. Even Nora, Danseur, and the entire Michigan Stoermers came.
The scene was crowded and lively.
Beatrice, Claire, Florence, and Maya each held onto a child. They were Alex and Dorothy’s quadruplets.
Even though the four were not even a year old, they’d received divine power from their mother, making them taller than the average infant.
They looked like they were already two, able to walk and jump and even speak quite well. Their comprehension skills were far more developed than children of their age.
They were finally reunited after so long. Alex sighed in his heart, especially when he thought about Dorothy, whose whereabouts were unknown. More importantly, the kids had grown so quickly. Within just half a year, the four of them looked very different from what Alex remembered. He couldn’t even tell them apart.
Hailey teased him. “Brother, you’ve been gone for so long. Do you still remember who’s the eldest and who’s the youngest?”
Alex felt embarrassed. Even if he had the divine eye and even x-ray vision, he really couldn’t tell the eldest and youngest apart.
In an instant, the crowd erupted into laughter.
Only Ynes was shocked. “You really have four kids?”
Alex corrected her. “Not four, but five!”

“Not to mention they have Mount Oro backing them up. What you’re doing now is equivalent to declaring war with the Ancient Moon Conglomerate. Is that really fine?”
Alex smiled. “I’m doing this on purpose. I want to meet the famous Divine Envoy.”

“How are you sure about that?” Alex asked

Just as they were about to leave, another incident occurred. The Millers and Hendersons had arrived.
As extremely wealthy ancient families, they never saw Alex as an equal from the start. Not feeling the need to sneak in, they walked right in as if they owned the place.
“The Millers and Hendersons are here to pay a visit! Mr. Rockefeller, I know it’s late, but if you would please, come out here and have a talk with us!”
The voice was as loud as thunder, causing a slight earthquake around the Rockefeller manor. Everyone inside was shocked.
Soraya whispered, “The Millers and Hendersons? Are they the allies of the Hancocks?”
