As expected, the four of them were here too. Seeing another skeleton in the cave, the four were first shocked before realizing that it was Alex.

“Darling?!” Daya yelled.

Alex smiled and nodded. “It is me!”

She immediately rushed over to give him a big hug. It was a rather intriguing sensation.

Since they were both skeletons, crackling sounds came from their bones colliding with each other. It didn’t feel as nice as when they were normally hugging. On the contrary, patterns could be absorbed once the soul of the being had been destroyed or if they had been drained of their soul powers.

Whitish grey bone patterns were considered one of the lower classes.

Alex didn’t have any bone patterns on him as of now, and he was able to manifest them onto his bones after absorbing some. Since the others had higher-class bone patterns on them, they wouldn’t be manifesting those anymore.

However, they could use these low- grade bone patterns as nutrients for their current patterns, food to replenish their soul power.

“Boss, your bones are useless. You couldn’t even leave one pattern on your body,” Pigsy said.

Alex huffed coldly. “These bone patterns are too weak for me.”

He stood up and moved to the side, sitting down on the ground with his legs crossed. The three bones that he absorbed had twelve bone patterns in total. Although he didn’t manifest any on his body, he clearly felt that the forbidden spell within him liked this power.
