Chapter 2279

Cecilia didn’t show it on her face, but her thoughts had already shifted the moment she turned away.

She went upstairs, closed the study door, and dialed a number.

“Find out everything about the account that first uploaded that video,” she said calmly. “Don’t miss a single transfer. I want names, sources, and timing.”

On the other end, the response was immediate. “Understood, Ms. Smith.”

She hung up and sat down at the desk, fingers resting lightly on the edge.

This wasn’t just about kids anymore.

Elliot opened his mouth, then closed it again. He couldn’t argue with that.

At that moment, Nathaniel walked in from outside, already dressed and composed.

He glanced at the two boys, then at the stairs where Cecilia had gone up.

“She’s already moving,” he said quietly.

Jonathan finally paused.

“She’s not going to let it go.”

Nathaniel gave a small, knowing smile. “She shouldn’t.”

Upstairs, Cecilia opened her laptop again.

Her expression was calm now—but the kind of calm that came right before something broke.
