The woman was crying while they reluctantly bid farewell to each other. She sang a song. It was the exact singing that Alex had just heard.
It was no wonder that he felt the certain sorrow of parting when he first heard the singing.
“Go back. Go back! I’ve failed you in this life, after all!” the man said.
The woman shook her head lightly while crystal tears streamed down her cheeks. “Our bond will never be severed. Not after this life, not in the next, and not in the life after next…”
The man doted on her. “Don’t be silly. If I were to forget you in the next life, that person would not be me.”
The woman did not care about that. “As long as I remember you, I’ll definitely find you no matter what you will be or whether you remember me or not.”
She took off a jade bracelet in her hand and sealed their memories inside with a divine art.
Then, she cut it into halves.
